Once upon a time there lived 4 Oxen in a forest. One Day when those Oxen were grazing grass, a lion came there and thought of killing them. As the oxen were at the same place, lion was thinking what to do so that it can have a feast. And soon a cunning fox came there.
Lion noticed the fox coming. So, called it and explained the plan of hunting the oxen. The fox said Yes for the plan and to execute it, it went near to the oxen. It called one of the oxen which noticed the foxs arrival. The ox went near the fox. Then the fox whispered Nothing much in its ears. Not understanding what it meant the ox again asked and got the same reply Nothing much. Not understanding what the fox wanted to say, It went off from there, and started grazing the grass again.
The remaining oxen asked this ox about the whispers of the fox in its ears. Nothing much the ox replied, they didnt understand and again the ox repeated the same. These oxen were furious and said U are lieing. That fox and you were sharing something about us only. soon this argument lead into a big fight. This ox got fed up repeating the same went to a different place which is far away and started grazing the grass again.
The lion which was waiting for this moment jumped on to the ox. The ox was helpless. though cried, nobody to listen to its cries. Lion killed the ox and ate it happily. It gave the left over to fox.
In the same way both the lion and fox planned, divided their unity and ate all the oxen.
Moral:
Friends...
Though this is a moral story for kids... but we need to know much about it. When the oxen were united at a place the enemy which was the lion didnt have much strength or guts to attack or kill them. But when the fox started to scatter the oxen because of its wicked plans, the oxen started fighting among them and became prey for the lion.
In the same way, even in our faith filled life, if we are united in Christ, the satan which roars like lion cant even harm us. But if we go to the worldly life or words the satan betrays us. We must be very careful as the satan which is like the roaring lion will always attempt to make us fall. If by mistake we fall, it will take us into the sinful world. We must be careful in terms of word deed and actions. First of all we should be united in HIS name.
