"మాతృదేవోభవ" అనేది మనదేశ సంస్కృతి "కనిపించే తల్లి అంటే కనిపించే వేల్పు" అనేది కవుల భావన. స్త్రీ దేవుని సృష్టిలో విలువైన బహుమానం. తల్లిగా, చెల్లిగా, భార్యగా ఇలా ఎన్నో రూపాల్లో నీకంటూ నేనున్నానని ఆదరించే ప్రేమామూర్తిపై సమాజానికి చిన్న చూపే నాడు-నేడూ.
అమ్మ గర్భంలోనే ఆచూకీ తెలుసుకునే స్కానింగులు, అంతంచేసే ప్లానింగులు, దైవవశాత్తు భూమ్మీద పడితే పారేసే ప్రయత్నాలు, గండాలన్ని గట్టెక్కితే ఆడపిల్లా! అంటూ అమ్మలక్కలు చేసే ఆరళ్ళు, ఈ సమాజం ఎప్పుడు తెలుసుకుంటుందో మహిళలను గౌరవించాలని? అందుకే క్రీస్తు కూడా స్త్రీలపై తనదైన గౌరవాన్ని తెలియజేయడానికి యావత్ సార్వత్రిక సంఘాన్ని స్త్రీతోనే పోల్చాడు. ఎటువంటి పరిస్థితినైనా ఎదుర్కొని, అవమానాన్ని భరిస్తూ సమర్ధవంతమైన అడుగులు వేసిన ప్రతి మహిళ అనేకులకు ప్రోత్సాహకరంగా నిలబడుతుంది.
చిన్నప్పుడే తండ్రిని పోగొట్టుకొని, 12వ ఏటనే ఆధ్యాత్మిక పట్టుదల కలిగి జీవితం దేవునికి సమర్పించుకుంది. తల్లి బోధలు అనుసరించి దైవిక సామాజిక కార్యకలాపాల్లో ముందడుగు వేసింది. ఆమెకున్న ఆశయాలకు దైవిక నిర్ణయం తోడైంది, గమ్యం తెలియని ప్రతి అడుగులో సమాజసేవకు తన్ను తాను అర్ర్పించుకుంది. క్రీస్తు ప్రేమ అంటే ఏంటో చెప్పడం కాదు, చేసి చూపించింది.
మానవ జాతికే వన్నె తెచ్చిన ఈ స్త్రీ "మదర్ థెరెస్సా". ఇరుకు, ఇబ్బంది, కష్టం, శ్రమ అనే ఆలోచన లేకుండా క్రీస్తుతో శ్రమ అనే అనుభవంతో సేవ చేసిన ఈ తల్లి గురించి ఎంత చెప్పినా తక్కువే. కన్న ప్రేమను మించి అమ్మ ప్రేమను పంచిన ధన్యమూర్తి "మదర్ థెరెస్సా".
ఆడపిల్లని యోకెబెదు మిర్యామును చంపేస్తే మోషే మనకు లేడు, ధర్మశాస్త్రము ఉండేది కాదేమో! హెబ్రి బాలిక లేకుంటే దేవుని ఘనత సిరియనులకెలా తెలుస్తుంది? కన్య మరియ లేకుంటే యేసయ్య లోకానికి ఎలా వచ్చేవాడు? యేసయ్యరాకుంటే మన జీవితాలు ఎలా బాగుపడేవి? లుదియా లేకుంటే తుయతైరా సంఘం ఉండేదా!
ప్రార్ధనలో పట్టుదల కలిగిన మహిళలు అనేకులు. వారి ప్రార్ధనా ఫలితం గొప్ప ప్రవక్తలు, యాజకులు, రాజులు, నాయకులు. తాను ఒదిగిపోతూ తన బలమంతా వెచ్చించి కుటుంబాన్ని ముందుకు నడిపించే తల్లులకు, ప్రేమను పంచియిచ్ఛే అక్క-చెల్లెళ్లకు, అహంకారాన్నంతా భరించగలిగే జీవిత భాగస్వాములకు, ప్రత్యేకంగా - క్రీస్తు కొరకైన నా ఈ పట్టుదల క్రీస్తు శ్రమానుభవమును చిన్ననాటినుండే నాకు నేర్పించిన నా తల్లికి శిరమువంచి నమస్కరిస్తూ...

-Matrudevobhava- is the culture of our country. "The visible mother is the visible goddess" is the concept of Indian poets. The woman is a precious gift in the creation of God. She comforts us and shares her love in many forms like the mother, sister, and wife.
Is it not ridiculous identifying the baby in the mother-s womb and when she is found as a baby Girl, society goes atrocious and attempts to dispose of it? If somehow, she is saved by God-s grace, all the family members say, "damn it, it-s a girl!". When will society know that women should be respected? Christ respects women and He represents the universal church to women. What a blessing.
Every woman who had faced any trouble situations and took necessary steps to overcome it in enduring humiliation stands as an encouragement to many.
One woman, having lost her father in childhood, committed her life to Christ at the age of 12 with complete spiritual perseverance. She got inspired by her Mother-s Teachings and started social activities for helping society. Divine determination added to her aspirations, and she devoted herself to the social community at every step where the destination was unknown. She did not teach what Christ-s love means but showed it living by example. This woman who brought fame to the human race is -Mother Theresa-; She shared her experience of Christ with loved ones without the thought of cramping, trouble, difficulty, toil. Blessed is -Mother Theresa- who shared her love beyond the mother-s love.
If Jochebed had rejected the girl Miriam as her daughter, we would not have Moses, then the law may not exist today! How could the glory of God be known to the Syrians without the Hebrew girl? How would Jesus have come into the world without the Virgin Mary? How would our lives be saved without Jesus? Would there be a Thyatira church without Lydia! Many women in the bible sacrificed their lives for Christ. Many women persevere in prayer. The result of their prayers is the great prophets, priests, kings, and leaders.
To the mothers who lead the family with all their strength by descending herself, to the elder and younger sisters who share their love, to the spouses who can bear all the pride. Mainly, I bow my head to my mother who taught me the experience of Christ from my childhood. God bless them all.
