క్రీస్తును క్రియల్లో చూపించి అనుదినం సిలువను మోసేవాడు క్రైస్తవుడైతే. తనను తాను ఉపేక్షించుకొని తన సిలువయెత్తికొని వెంబడించేవాడు... యేసు క్రీస్తు శిష్యుడు.
తనను తాను ఉపేక్షించుకోవడం అంటే?
సన్యాసిలా ప్రాపంచిక సుఖాలను వదిలేయడం కాదు గాని, మన స్వంత స్వలాభాన్ని మరచిపోవడం. అంటే, మన అనుదిన కార్యాచరణలలో ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్రమశిక్షణ కలిగి జీవించడం. ఈ లోక సంబంధమైనది మరియు దేవునికంటే ఎక్కువగా ప్రేమించేది అది ఏదైనా వాటిని క్రీస్తు కొరకు వదిలేయడం, పోగొట్టుకోవడం లేదా నష్టపరచుకోవడం. ఇహలోక పేరు ప్రఖ్యాతులు, కీర్తి ప్రతిష్ఠలు, అహంతో కూడిన హోదాలు, అహంకారంతో నిండిన అధికారాలు క్రీస్తు నిమిత్తం వాటిని సిలువేయడమే ఉపేక్షించుకోవడం.
తన సిలువయెత్తికొని వెంబడించడం అంటే?
సిలువలో క్రీస్తు ఎటువంటి శ్రమలను భరించాడో అట్టి శ్రమలను మన జీవితాల్లో అనుభవించడం. మరణం వరకు విడనాడని విశ్వాసం. సంపూర్ణ సమర్పణ కలిగిన జీవితం. పరిచర్య కొరకైన పట్టుదల. సువార్తను ప్రకటించాలనే ఆశక్తి. ఆత్మల కొరకైన భారం. క్రీస్తులో పరిపూర్ణ శిష్యత్వం.
అపో. పౌలు యేసు క్రీస్తుతో గల తన శిష్యత్వ అనుభవాన్ని ఇలా వివరించారు "నాకు లోకమును లోకమునకు నేనును సిలువవేయబడియున్నాము. దేవుని కృపా సువార్తను గూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చుటయందు నా పరుగును, నేను ప్రభువైన యేసు వలన పొందిన పరిచర్యను, తుదముట్టింపవలెనని నా ప్రాణమును నాకెంత మాత్రమును ప్రియమైనదిగా ఎంచుకొనుటలేదు"
యేసు క్రీస్తుతో శిష్యత్వం జీవితకాలంతో ముగుస్తుంది, మరణంతో కాదు. ఇది జీవితకాల సంతృప్తి నెరవేర్పులతో సంపూర్తి అవుతుంది. సిలువ, దానిని మనం కనుగొనగల ఏకైక మార్గం. ఆ సిలువయెత్తికొని వెంబడించగలిగే జీవితమే క్రీస్తుతో శ్రమను అనుభవించడం.

Experience the Suffering with Christ 34th Experience:
Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." - Mark 8:34.
If one is a Christian who shows Christ in deeds and bears the cross daily, He who disowns himself and takes up the Cross is a disciple of Jesus Christ.
What does that mean disregarding oneself? It is not to give up worldly pleasures like a monk, but to forget our benefits that are our worldly desires. That is, to have a spiritual discipline in our daily activities. All the worldly things or the things we love more than God should be given up, and we make them as lost. Fame, prestige, egoistic status, the arrogant powers are to be ignored for Christ-s sake.
What does it mean by following his cross?
Experiencing the sufferings in our lives in the same way that Christ suffered on the cross. Faith that persists until the end of life. A life of perfect submission - Perseverance in the ministry, The desire to proclaim the Gospel, The burden of souls, The perfect discipleship in Christ.
Apostle. Paul described his discipleship experience with Jesus Christ, saying, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Discipleship with Jesus Christ will last a lifetime, not just with death. It is completed by lifetime fulfillment and satisfaction. The cross is the only way we can find it. The life that takes up the cross and follows Christ is to suffer with Christ.
