Once a brother and sister were lost in the jungle while they were playing. They separated after a short while. The sister and brother were crying as they lost. At last the sister got to know the house after seeing a lamp. She got the way. But she was thinking of her brother who lost the way too. At the same time she was afraid that she will remain there itself so started going home. She had a red beads of necklace on her neck. She dropped the beads one by one on the way to her home.
Her brother, who lost the way in search of home suddenly saw one of the bead, realised it was her sisters and followed the beads which lead him to his home.
I am the way - Jesus said. We are lost in the sinful world and Jesus is the only way. If we walk on his path, we can reach our destiny. Even in trails and tribulations, we have to walk only on his path then only we can get everlasting happiness and victory. If not, we will be lost in the world and will be away from GOD leading to disasters.
Gods word is saying that - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way. (Isaiah 53:6) . He went leaving his footsteps for us.
Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps. - (1 Peter 2:21)
Are we walking in the footsteps of JESUS...?
