1. And it came to pass at the end of two full years, that Pharaoh dreamed: and, behold, he stood by the river.

2. And, behold, there came up out of the river seven well favoured cows and fatfleshed; and they fed in a meadow.

3. వాటి తరువాత చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకి వచ్చుచు ఏటి యొడ్డున ఆ ఆవుల దగ్గర నిలుచుండెను.

3. And, behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, ill favoured and leanfleshed; and stood by the [other] cows upon the brink of the river.

4. అప్పుడు చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన ఆ ఆవులు చూపునకు అందమై బలిసిన ఆవులను తినివేయుచుండెను. అంతలో ఫరో మేలుకొనెను.

4. And the ill favoured and leanfleshed cows ate up the seven well favoured and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke.

5. అతడు నిద్రించి రెండవసారి కలకనెను. అందులో మంచి పుష్టిగల యేడు వెన్నులు ఒక్క దంటున పుట్టుచుండెను.

5. And he slept and dreamed the second time: and, behold, seven ears of grain came up upon one stalk, fat and good.

6. మరియు తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీల వెన్నులు వాటి తరువాత మొలిచెను.

6. And, behold, seven thin ears and parched with the east wind sprung up after them.

7. And the seven thin ears devoured the seven fat and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, [it was] a dream.

8. తెల్లవారినప్పుడు అతని మనస్సు కలవరపడెను గనుక అతడు ఐగుప్తు శకునగాండ్ర నందరిని అక్కడి విద్వాంసులనందరిని పిలువనంపి ఫరో తన కలలను వివరించి వారితో చెప్పెను గాని ఫరోకు వాటి భావము తెలుపగల వాడెవడును లేకపోయెను.

8. And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all its wise men: and Pharaoh told them his dream; but [there was] none that could interpret them to Pharaoh.

9. అప్పుడు పానదాయకుల అధిపతి - నేడు నా తప్పిదములను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుచున్నాను.

9. Then spoke the chief butler to Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day:

10. ఫరో తన దాసులమీద కోపగించి నన్నును భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతిని మా ఉభయులను రాజసంరక్షక సేనాధిపతి యింట కావలిలో ఉంచెను.

10. Pharaoh was furious with his servants, and put me in custody in the captain of the guard's house, [both] me and the chief baker:

11. ఒక రాత్రి నేను అతడు మేమిద్దరము కలలు కంటిమి. ఒక్కొకడు వేరువేరు భావములు గల కలలు చెరి యొకటి కంటిమి.

11. And we dreamed a dream in one night, I and he; we dreamed each man according to the interpretation of his dream.

12. అక్కడ రాజ సంరక్షక సేనాధిపతికి దాసుడైయుండిన యొక హెబ్రీ పడుచువాడు మాతో కూడ ఉండెను. అతనితో మా కలలను మేము వివరించి చెప్పినప్పుడు అతడు వాటి భావమును మాకు తెలిపెను.

12. And [there was] there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he interpreted.

13. And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored to my office, and him he hanged.

14. ఫరో యోసేపును పిలువనంపెను. కాబట్టి చెరసాలలోనుండి అతని త్వరగా రప్పించిరి. అతడు క్షౌరము చేయించుకొని మంచి బట్టలు కట్టుకొని ఫరోయొద్దకు వచ్చెను.

14. Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved [himself], and changed his raiment, and came before Pharaoh.

15. ఫరో యోసేపుతో నేనొక కల కంటిని, దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవారెవరును లేరు. నీవు కలను విన్నయెడల దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవని నిన్నుగూర్చి వింటినని అతనితో చెప్పినందుకు

15. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and [there is] none that can interpret it: and I have heard it said of thee, [that] thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.

16. యోసేపు నావలన కాదు, దేవుడే ఫరోకు క్షేమకరమైన ఉత్తరమిచ్చునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

16. And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, [It is] not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.

17. అందుకు ఫరో నా కలలో నేను ఏటి యొడ్డున నిలుచుంటిని.

17. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:

18. బలిసినవియు, చూపున కందమైనవియునైన, యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకివచ్చి జమ్ములో మేయుచుండెను.

18. And, behold, there came out of the river seven cows, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:

19. మరియు నీరసమై బహు వికార రూపము కలిగి చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు వాటి తరువాత పైకి వచ్చెను. వీటి అంత వికారమైనవి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఎక్కడను నాకు కనబడలేదు.

19. And, behold, seven other cows came out after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:

20. చిక్కిపోయి వికారముగానున్న ఆవులు బలిసిన మొదటి యేడు ఆవులను తినివేసెను.

20. And the lean and the ill favoured cows ate up the first seven fat cows:

21. అవి వాటి కడుపులో పడెను గాని అవి కడుపులో పడినట్టు కనబడలేదు, మొదట ఉండినట్లే అవి చూపునకు వికారముగా నుండెను. అంతలో నేను మేలుకొంటిని.

21. And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they [were] still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.

22. మరియు నా కలలో నేను చూడగా పుష్టిగల యేడు మంచి వెన్నులు ఒక్కదంటున పుట్టెను.

22. And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up on one stalk, full and good:

23. మరియు తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయి యెండిన యేడు పీలవెన్నులు వాటి తరువాత మొలిచెను.

23. And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, [and] parched with the east wind, sprung up after them:

24. ఈ పీలవెన్నులు ఆ మంచి వెన్నులను మింగివేసెను. ఈ కలను జ్ఞానులకు తెలియ చెప్పితిని గాని దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవారెవరును లేరని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

24. And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told [this] to the magicians; but [there was] none that could make known [the meaning of it] to me.

25. అందుకు యోసేపు ఫరో కనిన కల ఒక్కటే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు తెలియచేసెను. ఆ యేడు మంచి ఆవులు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు

25. And Joseph said to Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh [is] one: God hath showed Pharaoh what he [is] about to do.

26. ఆ యేడు మంచి వెన్నులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు.

26. The seven good cows [are] seven years; and the seven good ears [are] seven years: the dream [is] one.

27. కల ఒక్కటే. వాటి తరువాత, చిక్కిపోయి వికారమై పైకివచ్చిన యేడు ఆవులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు; తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీలవెన్నులు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు.

27. And the seven thin and ill favoured cows that came up after them [are] seven years; and the seven empty ears blighted with the east wind shall be seven years of famine.

28. నేను ఫరోతో చెప్పు మాట యిదే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు చూపించెను.

28. This [is] the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh: What God [is] about to do he showeth to Pharaoh.

29. ఇదిగో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను బహు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుచున్నవి.

29. Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the land of Egypt:

30. మరియు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు వాటి తరువాత వచ్చును; అప్పుడు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి యావత్తును మరువబడును, ఆ కరవు దేశమును పాడుచేయును.

30. And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine shall consume the land;

31. దాని తరువాత కలుగు కరవుచేత దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి తెలియబడకపోవును; ఆ కరవు మిక్కిలి భారముగా నుండును.

31. And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of the famine following; for it [shall be] very grievous.

32. ఈ కార్యము దేవునివలన నిర్ణయింపబడియున్నది. ఇది దేవుడు శీఘ్రముగా జరిగించును. అందుచేతనే ఆ కల ఫరోకు రెట్టింపబడెను.

32. And for that the dream was doubled to Pharaoh twice; [it is] because the thing [is] established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

33. కాబట్టి ఫరో వివేక జ్ఞానములుగల ఒక మనుష్యుని చూచుకొని ఐగుప్తు దేశముమీద అతని నియమింపవలెను.

33. Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.

34. ఫరో అట్లు చేసి యీ దేశముపైన అధిపతులను నియమించి సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములలో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను అయిదవ భాగము తీసికొనవలెను.

34. Let Pharaoh do [this], and let him appoint officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years.

35. రాబోవు ఈ మంచి సంవత్సరములలో దొరుకు ఆహార మంతయు సమకూర్చి ఆ ధాన్యము ఫరో చేతికప్పగించి ఆయా పట్టణములలో ఆహారమునకై భద్రము చేయవలెను.

35. And let them gather all the food of those good years that come, and lay up grain under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in the cities.

36. కరవుచేత ఈ దేశము నశించిపోకుండ ఆ ఆహారము ఐగుప్తుదేశములో రాబోవు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఏడింటికి ఈ దేశమందు సంగ్రహముగా నుండునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

36. And that food shall be for reserve for the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land may not perish through the famine.

37. ఆ మాట ఫరో దృష్టికిని అతని సమస్త సేవకుల దృష్టికిని యుక్తమైయుండెను గనుక

37. And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

38. అతడు తన సేవకులను చూచి ఇతనివలె దేవుని ఆత్మగల మనుష్యుని కనుగొనగలమా అని యనెను.

38. And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find [such a man] as this [is], a man in whom the Spirit of God [is]?

39. మరియు ఫరో - దేవుడు ఇదంతయు నీకు తెలియపరచెను గనుక నీవలె వివేక జ్ఞానములు గలవారెవరును లేరు.

39. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shown thee all this, [there is] none so discreet and wise as thou [art]:

40. నీవు నా యింటికి అధికారివై యుండవలెను, నా ప్రజలందరు నీకు విధేయులై యుందురు; సింహాసన విషయములో మాత్రమే నేను నీకంటె పైవాడనై యుందునని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:10

40. Thou shalt be over my house, and according to thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

41. మరియు ఫరో - చూడుము, ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటి మీద నిన్ను నియమించి యున్నానని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

41. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

42. మరియు ఫరో తన చేతినున్న తన ఉంగరము తీసి యోసేపు చేతిని పెట్టి, సన్నపు నారబట్టలు అతనికి తొడిగించి, అతని మెడకు బంగారు గొలుసు వేసి

42. And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;

43. తన రెండవ రథము మీద అతని నెక్కించెను. అప్పుడు - వందనము చేయుడని అతని ముందర జనులు కేకలువేసిరి. అట్లు ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటిమీద అతని నియమించెను.

43. And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him [ruler] over all the land of Egypt.

44. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపుతో - ఫరోను నేనే; అయినను నీ సెలవు లేక ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఏ మనుష్యుడును తన చేతినైనను కాలినైనను ఎత్తకూడదని చెప్పెను.

44. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I [am] Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

45. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపునకు జప్నత్ప నేహు అను పేరు పెట్టి, అతనికి ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు నిచ్చి పెండ్లి చేసెను.

45. And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him for a wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went over [all] the land of Egypt.

46. యోసేపు బయలుదేరి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచరించెను. యోసేపు ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో యెదుట నిలిచినప్పుడు ముప్పది సంవత్సరములవాడై యుండెను. అప్పుడు యోసేపు ఫరో యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచారము చేసెను.

46. And Joseph [was] thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

47. సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన యేడు సంవత్సరములలో భూమి బహు విరివిగా పండెను.

47. And in the seven plenteous years the earth brought forth by handfuls.

48. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందున్న యేడు సంవత్సరముల ఆహారమంతయు అతడు సమకూర్చి, ఆయా పట్టణములలో దాని నిలువచేసెను. ఏ పట్టణము చుట్టునుండు పొలముయొక్క ధాన్యము ఆ పట్టణమందే నిలువచేసెను.

48. And he gathered all the food of the seven years, which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which [was] surrounding every city, he laid up in the same.

49. యోసేపు సముద్రపు ఇసుకవలె అతి విస్తారముగా ధాన్యము పోగుచేసెను. కొలుచుట అసాధ్యమాయెను గనుక కొలుచుట మానివేసెను.

49. And Joseph gathered grain as the sand of the sea, very much, until he finished numbering; for [it was] without number.

50. కరవు సంవత్సరములు రాకమునుపు యోసేపుకిద్దరు కుమారులు పుట్టిరి. ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు అతనికి వారిని కనెను.

50. And to Joseph were born two sons before the years of famine came, which Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On bore to him.

51. అప్పుడు యోసేపు దేవుడు నా సమస్త బాధను నా తండ్రియింటి వారినందరిని నేను మరచి పోవునట్లు చేసెనని చెప్పి తన జ్యేష్ఠకుమారునికి మనష్షే అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

51. And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, [said he], hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.

52. తరువాత అతడు నాకు బాధ కలిగిన దేశమందు దేవుడు నన్ను అభివృద్ధి పొందించెనని చెప్పి, రెండవవానికి ఎఫ్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

52. And the name of the second called he Ephraim: For God hath caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

53. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన సంవత్సరములు గడచిన తరువాత

53. And the seven years of plenteousness, that was in the land of Egypt, were ended.

54. యోసేపు చెప్పిన ప్రకారము ఏడు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఆరంభమాయెను గాని ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఆహారముండెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:11

54. And the seven years of famine began to come, according as Joseph had said: and the famine was in all lands; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

55. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను కరవు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ దేశస్థులు ఆహారము కోసము ఫరోతో మొరపెట్టుకొనిరి, అప్పుడు ఫరో - మీరు యోసేపు నొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతడు మీతో చెప్పునట్లు చేయుడని ఐగుప్తీయులందరితో చెప్పెను.

55. And when all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread: and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, Go to Joseph; what he saith to you, do.

56. కరవు ఆ దేశమందంతటను ఉండెను గనుక యోసేపు కొట్లన్నియు విప్పించి ఐగుప్తీయులకు ధాన్యమమ్మకము చేసెను. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ కరవు భారముగా ఉండెను;

56. And the famine was over all the face of the earth: And Joseph opened all the storehouses, and sold to the Egyptians; and the famine became severe in the land of Egypt.

57. మరియు ఆ కరవు ప్రతి దేశమందు భారమైనందున సమస్త దేశస్థులు యోసేపునొద్ద ధాన్యము కొనుటకు ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

57. And all countries came into Egypt to Joseph to buy [grain]; because the famine was severe in all lands.
