1. రెండేండ్లు గడిచిన తరువాత ఫరో ఒక కల కనెను. అందులో అతడు ఏటిదగ్గర నిలిచియుండగా

1. And it fortuned at two years' end, that Pharao dreamed, and thought that he stood by a river's side,

2. చూపునకు అందమైనవియు బలిసినవియునైన యేడు ఆవులు యేటిలో నుండి పైకి వచ్చుచు జమ్ములో మేయుచుండెను.

2. and that there came out of the river seven goodly kine and fat fleshed, and fed in a meadow.

3. వాటి తరువాత చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకి వచ్చుచు ఏటి యొడ్డున ఆ ఆవుల దగ్గర నిలుచుండెను.

3. And him thought that seven other kine came up after them out of the river evil favored and lean fleshed and stood by the other upon the brink of the river.

4. అప్పుడు చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన ఆ ఆవులు చూపునకు అందమై బలిసిన ఆవులను తినివేయుచుండెను. అంతలో ఫరో మేలుకొనెను.

4. And the evil favored and lean fleshed kine: ate up the seven well favored and fat kine: and he awoke therewith.

5. అతడు నిద్రించి రెండవసారి కలకనెను. అందులో మంచి పుష్టిగల యేడు వెన్నులు ఒక్క దంటున పుట్టుచుండెను.

5. And he slept again and dreamed the second time, that seven ears of corn grew upon one stalk rank and goodly.

6. మరియు తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీల వెన్నులు వాటి తరువాత మొలిచెను.

6. And that seven thin ears blasted with the wind, sprang up after them:

7. అప్పుడు నిండైన పుష్టిగల ఆ యేడు వెన్నులను ఆ పీలవెన్నులు మింగివేసెను. అంతలో ఫరో మేలుకొని అది కల అని గ్రహించెను.

7. and that the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And then Pharao awaked: and see, here is his dream.

8. తెల్లవారినప్పుడు అతని మనస్సు కలవరపడెను గనుక అతడు ఐగుప్తు శకునగాండ్ర నందరిని అక్కడి విద్వాంసులనందరిని పిలువనంపి ఫరో తన కలలను వివరించి వారితో చెప్పెను గాని ఫరోకు వాటి భావము తెలుపగల వాడెవడును లేకపోయెను.

8. When the morning came, his spirit was troubled; And he sent and called for all the soothsayers of Egypt and all the wise men thereof, and told them his dream: but there was none of them that could interpret it unto Pharao.

9. అప్పుడు పానదాయకుల అధిపతి - నేడు నా తప్పిదములను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుచున్నాను.

9. Then spake the chief butler unto Pharao saying: I do remember my fault this day.

10. ఫరో తన దాసులమీద కోపగించి నన్నును భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతిని మా ఉభయులను రాజసంరక్షక సేనాధిపతి యింట కావలిలో ఉంచెను.

10. Pharao was angry with his servants, and put in ward in the chief marshal's house both me and the chief baker.

11. ఒక రాత్రి నేను అతడు మేమిద్దరము కలలు కంటిమి. ఒక్కొకడు వేరువేరు భావములు గల కలలు చెరి యొకటి కంటిమి.

11. And we dreamed both of us in one night and each man's dream of a sundry interpretation.

12. అక్కడ రాజ సంరక్షక సేనాధిపతికి దాసుడైయుండిన యొక హెబ్రీ పడుచువాడు మాతో కూడ ఉండెను. అతనితో మా కలలను మేము వివరించి చెప్పినప్పుడు అతడు వాటి భావమును మాకు తెలిపెను.

12. And there was with us a young man, an Hebrew born, servant unto the chief marshal. And we told him, and he declared our dreams to us according to either of our dreams.

13. And as he declared them unto us, even so it came to pass. I was restored to mine office again, and he was hanged.

14. ఫరో యోసేపును పిలువనంపెను. కాబట్టి చెరసాలలోనుండి అతని త్వరగా రప్పించిరి. అతడు క్షౌరము చేయించుకొని మంచి బట్టలు కట్టుకొని ఫరోయొద్దకు వచ్చెను.

14. Then Pharao sent and called Joseph. And they made him haste out of prison. And he shaved himself and changed his raiment, and went in to Pharao.

15. ఫరో యోసేపుతో నేనొక కల కంటిని, దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవారెవరును లేరు. నీవు కలను విన్నయెడల దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవని నిన్నుగూర్చి వింటినని అతనితో చెప్పినందుకు

15. And Pharao said unto Joseph: I have dreamed a dream and no man can interpretate it, but I have heard say of thee that as soon as thou hearest a dream, thou dost interpretate it.

16. యోసేపు నావలన కాదు, దేవుడే ఫరోకు క్షేమకరమైన ఉత్తరమిచ్చునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

16. And Joseph answered Pharao saying: God shall give Pharao an answer of peace without me.

17. అందుకు ఫరో నా కలలో నేను ఏటి యొడ్డున నిలుచుంటిని.

17. Pharao said unto Joseph: in my dream me thought I stood by a river's side,

18. బలిసినవియు, చూపున కందమైనవియునైన, యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకివచ్చి జమ్ములో మేయుచుండెను.

18. and there came out of the river seven fat fleshed and well favored kine, and fed in the meadow.

19. మరియు నీరసమై బహు వికార రూపము కలిగి చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు వాటి తరువాత పైకి వచ్చెను. వీటి అంత వికారమైనవి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఎక్కడను నాకు కనబడలేదు.

19. And then seven other kine came up after them, poor and very evil favored and lean fleshed: so that I never saw their like in all the land of Egypt in evil favoredness.

20. చిక్కిపోయి వికారముగానున్న ఆవులు బలిసిన మొదటి యేడు ఆవులను తినివేసెను.

20. And the seven lean and evil favored kine ate up the first seven fat kine.

21. అవి వాటి కడుపులో పడెను గాని అవి కడుపులో పడినట్టు కనబడలేదు, మొదట ఉండినట్లే అవి చూపునకు వికారముగా నుండెను. అంతలో నేను మేలుకొంటిని.

21. And when they had eaten them up, a man could not perceive that they had eaten them: for they were still as evil favored as they were at the beginning. And I awoke.

22. మరియు నా కలలో నేను చూడగా పుష్టిగల యేడు మంచి వెన్నులు ఒక్కదంటున పుట్టెను.

22. And I saw again in my dream seven ears spring out of one stalk full and good,

23. and seven other ears withered, thin and blasted with wind, spring up after them.

24. And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears. And I have told it unto the soothsayers, but no man can tell me what it meaneth.

25. అందుకు యోసేపు ఫరో కనిన కల ఒక్కటే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు తెలియచేసెను. ఆ యేడు మంచి ఆవులు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు

25. Then Joseph said unto Pharao: both Pharao's dreams are one. And God doth shew Pharao what he is about to do.

26. ఆ యేడు మంచి వెన్నులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు.

26. The seven good kine are seven year: and the seven good ears are seven year also, and is but one dream.

27. కల ఒక్కటే. వాటి తరువాత, చిక్కిపోయి వికారమై పైకివచ్చిన యేడు ఆవులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు; తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీలవెన్నులు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు.

27. Likewise, the seven thin and evil favored kine that came out after them, are seven years: and the seven empty and blasted ears shall be seven years of hunger.

28. నేను ఫరోతో చెప్పు మాట యిదే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు చూపించెను.

28. This is that which I said unto Pharao, that God doth shew Pharao what he is about to do.

29. ఇదిగో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను బహు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుచున్నవి.

29. Behold there shall come seven year of great plenteousness throughout all the land of Egypt.

30. మరియు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు వాటి తరువాత వచ్చును; అప్పుడు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి యావత్తును మరువబడును, ఆ కరవు దేశమును పాడుచేయును.

30. And there shall arise after them seven years of hunger. So that all the plenteousness shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt. And the hunger shall consume the land:

31. దాని తరువాత కలుగు కరవుచేత దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి తెలియబడకపోవును; ఆ కరవు మిక్కిలి భారముగా నుండును.

31. so that the plenteousness shall not be once a seen in the land by reason of that hunger that shall come after, for it shall be exceeding great.

32. ఈ కార్యము దేవునివలన నిర్ణయింపబడియున్నది. ఇది దేవుడు శీఘ్రముగా జరిగించును. అందుచేతనే ఆ కల ఫరోకు రెట్టింపబడెను.

32. And as concerning that the dream was doubled unto Pharao the second time, it betokeneth that the thing is certainly prepared of God, and that God will shortly bring it to pass.

33. కాబట్టి ఫరో వివేక జ్ఞానములుగల ఒక మనుష్యుని చూచుకొని ఐగుప్తు దేశముమీద అతని నియమింపవలెను.

33. Now therefore let Pharao provide for a man of understanding and wisdom, and set him over the land of Egypt.

34. ఫరో అట్లు చేసి యీ దేశముపైన అధిపతులను నియమించి సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములలో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను అయిదవ భాగము తీసికొనవలెను.

34. And let Pharao make officers over the land, and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years

35. రాబోవు ఈ మంచి సంవత్సరములలో దొరుకు ఆహార మంతయు సమకూర్చి ఆ ధాన్యము ఫరో చేతికప్పగించి ఆయా పట్టణములలో ఆహారమునకై భద్రము చేయవలెను.

35. and let them gather all the food of these good years that come, and lay up corn under the power of Pharao: that there may be food in the cities,

36. కరవుచేత ఈ దేశము నశించిపోకుండ ఆ ఆహారము ఐగుప్తుదేశములో రాబోవు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఏడింటికి ఈ దేశమందు సంగ్రహముగా నుండునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

36. and there let them keep it: that there may be food in store in the land, against the seven years of hunger which shall come in the land of Egypt, and that the land perish not thorow hunger.

37. ఆ మాట ఫరో దృష్టికిని అతని సమస్త సేవకుల దృష్టికిని యుక్తమైయుండెను గనుక

37. And the saying pleased Pharao and all his servants.

38. అతడు తన సేవకులను చూచి ఇతనివలె దేవుని ఆత్మగల మనుష్యుని కనుగొనగలమా అని యనెను.

38. Then said Pharao unto his servants: where shall we find such a man as this is, that hath the spirit of God in him?

39. మరియు ఫరో - దేవుడు ఇదంతయు నీకు తెలియపరచెను గనుక నీవలె వివేక జ్ఞానములు గలవారెవరును లేరు.

39. wherefore Pharao said unto Joseph: forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is no man of understanding nor of wisdom like unto thee.

40. నీవు నా యింటికి అధికారివై యుండవలెను, నా ప్రజలందరు నీకు విధేయులై యుందురు; సింహాసన విషయములో మాత్రమే నేను నీకంటె పైవాడనై యుందునని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:10

40. Thou therefore shalt be over my house, and according to thy word shall all my people obey: only in the king's seat will I be above thee.

41. మరియు ఫరో - చూడుము, ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటి మీద నిన్ను నియమించి యున్నానని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

41. And he said unto Joseph: behold, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

42. మరియు ఫరో తన చేతినున్న తన ఉంగరము తీసి యోసేపు చేతిని పెట్టి, సన్నపు నారబట్టలు అతనికి తొడిగించి, అతని మెడకు బంగారు గొలుసు వేసి

42. And he took off his ring from his finger, and put it upon Joseph's finger, and arrayed him in raiment of byss, and put a golden chain about his neck

43. and set him upon the best chariot that he had save one. And they cried before him Abrech, and that Pharao had made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.

44. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపుతో - ఫరోను నేనే; అయినను నీ సెలవు లేక ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఏ మనుష్యుడును తన చేతినైనను కాలినైనను ఎత్తకూడదని చెప్పెను.

44. And Pharao said unto Joseph: I am Pharao, without thy will, shall no man lift up either his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

45. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపునకు జప్నత్ప నేహు అను పేరు పెట్టి, అతనికి ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు నిచ్చి పెండ్లి చేసెను.

45. And he called Joseph's name Zaphnath Paenea. And he gave him to wife Asnath the daughter of Potiphar priest of On. Then went Joseph abroad in the land of Egypt.

46. యోసేపు బయలుదేరి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచరించెను. యోసేపు ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో యెదుట నిలిచినప్పుడు ముప్పది సంవత్సరములవాడై యుండెను. అప్పుడు యోసేపు ఫరో యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచారము చేసెను.

46. And he was thirty year old when he stood before Pharao king of Egypt. And then Joseph departed from Pharao, and went thorow out all the land of Egypt.

47. సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన యేడు సంవత్సరములలో భూమి బహు విరివిగా పండెను.

47. And in the seven plenteous years they made sheaves

48. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందున్న యేడు సంవత్సరముల ఆహారమంతయు అతడు సమకూర్చి, ఆయా పట్టణములలో దాని నిలువచేసెను. ఏ పట్టణము చుట్టునుండు పొలముయొక్క ధాన్యము ఆ పట్టణమందే నిలువచేసెను.

48. and gathered up all the food of the seven plenteous years which were in the land of Egypt and put it into the cities. And he put the food of the fields that grew round about every city: even in the same.

49. యోసేపు సముద్రపు ఇసుకవలె అతి విస్తారముగా ధాన్యము పోగుచేసెను. కొలుచుట అసాధ్యమాయెను గనుక కొలుచుట మానివేసెను.

49. And Joseph laid up corn in store, like unto the sand of the sea in multitude out of measure, until he left numbering: For it was without number.

50. కరవు సంవత్సరములు రాకమునుపు యోసేపుకిద్దరు కుమారులు పుట్టిరి. ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు అతనికి వారిని కనెను.

50. And unto Joseph were born two sons before the years of hunger came, which Asnath the daughter of Potiphar priest of On, bare unto him.

51. అప్పుడు యోసేపు దేవుడు నా సమస్త బాధను నా తండ్రియింటి వారినందరిని నేను మరచి పోవునట్లు చేసెనని చెప్పి తన జ్యేష్ఠకుమారునికి మనష్షే అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

51. And he called the name of the first son Manasse, for God (said he) hath made me forget all my labour and all my father's household.

52. తరువాత అతడు నాకు బాధ కలిగిన దేశమందు దేవుడు నన్ను అభివృద్ధి పొందించెనని చెప్పి, రెండవవానికి ఎఫ్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

52. The second called he Ephraim, for God (said he) hath caused me to grow in the land of my trouble.

53. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన సంవత్సరములు గడచిన తరువాత

53. And when the seven years of plenteousness that was in the land of Egypt were ended,

54. యోసేపు చెప్పిన ప్రకారము ఏడు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఆరంభమాయెను గాని ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఆహారముండెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:11

54. then came the seven years of dearth, according as Joseph had said. And the dearth was in all lands: but in the land of Egypt was there yet food.

55. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను కరవు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ దేశస్థులు ఆహారము కోసము ఫరోతో మొరపెట్టుకొనిరి, అప్పుడు ఫరో - మీరు యోసేపు నొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతడు మీతో చెప్పునట్లు చేయుడని ఐగుప్తీయులందరితో చెప్పెను.

55. When now all the land of Egypt began to hunger, then cried the people to Pharao for bread. And Pharao said unto all Egypt: go unto Joseph, and what he saith to you that do.

56. కరవు ఆ దేశమందంతటను ఉండెను గనుక యోసేపు కొట్లన్నియు విప్పించి ఐగుప్తీయులకు ధాన్యమమ్మకము చేసెను. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ కరవు భారముగా ఉండెను;

56. And when the dearth was thorow out all the land, Joseph opened all that was in the cities, and sold unto the Egyptians. And hunger waxed sore in the land of Egypt.

57. మరియు ఆ కరవు ప్రతి దేశమందు భారమైనందున సమస్త దేశస్థులు యోసేపునొద్ద ధాన్యము కొనుటకు ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

57. And all countries came to Egypt to Joseph for to buy corn: because that the hunger was so sore in all lands.
