1. రెండేండ్లు గడిచిన తరువాత ఫరో ఒక కల కనెను. అందులో అతడు ఏటిదగ్గర నిలిచియుండగా

1. And it came to pass after two full years that Pharaoh had a dream. He thought he stood upon [the bank of] the river.

2. చూపునకు అందమైనవియు బలిసినవియునైన యేడు ఆవులు యేటిలో నుండి పైకి వచ్చుచు జమ్ములో మేయుచుండెను.

2. And behold, there came up out of the river seven cows, fair in appearance, and choice of flesh, and they fed in the meadow.

3. వాటి తరువాత చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకి వచ్చుచు ఏటి యొడ్డున ఆ ఆవుల దగ్గర నిలుచుండెను.

3. Then behold, seven other cows came up after these out of the river, ill-favored and lean-fleshed, and fed by the other cows on the bank of the river.

4. అప్పుడు చూపునకు వికారమై చిక్కిపోయిన ఆ ఆవులు చూపునకు అందమై బలిసిన ఆవులను తినివేయుచుండెను. అంతలో ఫరో మేలుకొనెను.

4. And the seven ill-favored and lean cows devoured the seven well-favored and choice-fleshed cows. So Pharaoh awoke.

5. అతడు నిద్రించి రెండవసారి కలకనెను. అందులో మంచి పుష్టిగల యేడు వెన్నులు ఒక్క దంటున పుట్టుచుండెను.

5. And he dreamed again. And behold, seven heads of grain came up on one stalk, choice and good.

6. మరియు తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీల వెన్నులు వాటి తరువాత మొలిచెను.

6. And behold, seven thin heads, blasted by the wind, grew up after them.

7. అప్పుడు నిండైన పుష్టిగల ఆ యేడు వెన్నులను ఆ పీలవెన్నులు మింగివేసెను. అంతలో ఫరో మేలుకొని అది కల అని గ్రహించెను.

7. And the seven thin heads blasted with the wind devoured the seven choice and full heads. And Pharaoh awoke, and indeed, it was a dream.

8. తెల్లవారినప్పుడు అతని మనస్సు కలవరపడెను గనుక అతడు ఐగుప్తు శకునగాండ్ర నందరిని అక్కడి విద్వాంసులనందరిని పిలువనంపి ఫరో తన కలలను వివరించి వారితో చెప్పెను గాని ఫరోకు వాటి భావము తెలుపగల వాడెవడును లేకపోయెను.

8. And it was morning, and his soul was troubled. And he sent and called all the interpreters of Egypt, and all the wise men; and Pharaoh related to them his dream, and there was no one to interpret it to Pharaoh.

9. అప్పుడు పానదాయకుల అధిపతి - నేడు నా తప్పిదములను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుచున్నాను.

9. And the chief cupbearer spoke to Pharaoh, saying, this day I remember my fault:

10. ఫరో తన దాసులమీద కోపగించి నన్నును భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతిని మా ఉభయులను రాజసంరక్షక సేనాధిపతి యింట కావలిలో ఉంచెను.

10. when Pharaoh was angry with his servants, and put us in prison in the house of the captain of the guard, both me and the chief baker.

11. ఒక రాత్రి నేను అతడు మేమిద్దరము కలలు కంటిమి. ఒక్కొకడు వేరువేరు భావములు గల కలలు చెరి యొకటి కంటిమి.

11. And we both had a dream in one night, [both] he and I; we saw, each according to his dream.

12. And there was there with us a young man, a Hebrew servant of the captain of the guard; and we related to him [our dreams], and he interpreted [them] to us.

13. And it came to pass, as he interpreted them to us, so also it happened, both that I was restored to my office, and that he was hanged.

14. And Pharaoh, having sent, called Joseph; and they brought him out from the prison, and shaved him, and changed his clothes, and he came to Pharaoh.

15. ఫరో యోసేపుతో నేనొక కల కంటిని, దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవారెవరును లేరు. నీవు కలను విన్నయెడల దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవని నిన్నుగూర్చి వింటినని అతనితో చెప్పినందుకు

15. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I have seen a vision, and there is no one to interpret it; but I have heard it said concerning you that you can hear dreams and interpret them.

16. యోసేపు నావలన కాదు, దేవుడే ఫరోకు క్షేమకరమైన ఉత్తరమిచ్చునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

16. And Joseph answered Pharaoh and said, Without God an answer of safety shall not be given to Pharaoh.

17. అందుకు ఫరో నా కలలో నేను ఏటి యొడ్డున నిలుచుంటిని.

17. And Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying, In my dream, I stood by the bank of the river.

18. బలిసినవియు, చూపున కందమైనవియునైన, యేడు ఆవులు ఏటిలోనుండి పైకివచ్చి జమ్ములో మేయుచుండెను.

18. Suddenly seven cows came up out of the river, well-favored and choice-fleshed, and they fed in the meadow.

19. మరియు నీరసమై బహు వికార రూపము కలిగి చిక్కిపోయిన మరి యేడు ఆవులు వాటి తరువాత పైకి వచ్చెను. వీటి అంత వికారమైనవి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఎక్కడను నాకు కనబడలేదు.

19. And behold, seven other cows came up after them out of the river, evil and ill-favored and lean-fleshed, such that I never saw worse in all the land of Egypt.

20. చిక్కిపోయి వికారముగానున్న ఆవులు బలిసిన మొదటి యేడు ఆవులను తినివేసెను.

20. And the seven ill-favored and thin cows ate up the seven first good and choice cows.

21. అవి వాటి కడుపులో పడెను గాని అవి కడుపులో పడినట్టు కనబడలేదు, మొదట ఉండినట్లే అవి చూపునకు వికారముగా నుండెను. అంతలో నేను మేలుకొంటిని.

21. And they went into their bellies; and it was not perceptible that they had gone into their bellies, and their appearance was ill-favored, as also at the beginning. And after I awoke, I slept,

22. మరియు నా కలలో నేను చూడగా పుష్టిగల యేడు మంచి వెన్నులు ఒక్కదంటున పుట్టెను.

22. and I saw again in my sleep, and seven heads came up on one stem, full and good.

23. మరియు తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయి యెండిన యేడు పీలవెన్నులు వాటి తరువాత మొలిచెను.

23. Then behold, seven heads, thin and blasted with the wind, sprang up close to them.

24. ఈ పీలవెన్నులు ఆ మంచి వెన్నులను మింగివేసెను. ఈ కలను జ్ఞానులకు తెలియ చెప్పితిని గాని దాని భావమును తెలుపగలవారెవరును లేరని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

24. And the seven thin and blasted heads devoured the seven fine and full heads: so I spoke to the interpreters, and there was no one to explain it to me.

25. అందుకు యోసేపు ఫరో కనిన కల ఒక్కటే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు తెలియచేసెను. ఆ యేడు మంచి ఆవులు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు

25. And Joseph said to Pharaoh, The dream of Pharaoh is one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.

26. ఆ యేడు మంచి వెన్నులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు.

26. The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads are seven years; the dream of Pharaoh is one.

27. కల ఒక్కటే. వాటి తరువాత, చిక్కిపోయి వికారమై పైకివచ్చిన యేడు ఆవులును ఏడు సంవత్సరములు; తూర్పు గాలిచేత చెడిపోయిన యేడు పీలవెన్నులు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు.

27. And the seven thin cows that came up after them are seven years; and the seven thin and blasted heads are seven years; there shall be seven years of famine.

28. నేను ఫరోతో చెప్పు మాట యిదే. దేవుడు తాను చేయబోవుచున్నది ఫరోకు చూపించెను.

28. And as for the word which I have told Pharaoh, God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do.

29. ఇదిగో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను బహు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములు వచ్చుచున్నవి.

29. Behold, for seven years there is coming great plenty in all the land of Egypt.

30. మరియు కరవుగల యేడు సంవత్సరములు వాటి తరువాత వచ్చును; అప్పుడు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి యావత్తును మరువబడును, ఆ కరవు దేశమును పాడుచేయును.

30. But there shall come seven years of famine after these, and they shall forget the plenty that shall be in all Egypt, and the famine shall consume the land.

31. దాని తరువాత కలుగు కరవుచేత దేశమందు ఆ పంట సమృద్ధి తెలియబడకపోవును; ఆ కరవు మిక్కిలి భారముగా నుండును.

31. And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of the famine that shall be after this, for it shall be very grievous.

32. ఈ కార్యము దేవునివలన నిర్ణయింపబడియున్నది. ఇది దేవుడు శీఘ్రముగా జరిగించును. అందుచేతనే ఆ కల ఫరోకు రెట్టింపబడెను.

32. And concerning the repetition of the dream to Pharaoh twice, it is because the saying which is from God shall be true, and God will hasten to accomplish it.

33. కాబట్టి ఫరో వివేక జ్ఞానములుగల ఒక మనుష్యుని చూచుకొని ఐగుప్తు దేశముమీద అతని నియమింపవలెను.

33. Now then, select a wise and prudent man, and set him over the land of Egypt.

34. ఫరో అట్లు చేసి యీ దేశముపైన అధిపతులను నియమించి సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండు ఏడు సంవత్సరములలో ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను అయిదవ భాగము తీసికొనవలెను.

34. And let Pharaoh make and appoint local governors over the land; and let them take up a fifth part of all the produce of the land of Egypt for the seven years of the plenty.

35. రాబోవు ఈ మంచి సంవత్సరములలో దొరుకు ఆహార మంతయు సమకూర్చి ఆ ధాన్యము ఫరో చేతికప్పగించి ఆయా పట్టణములలో ఆహారమునకై భద్రము చేయవలెను.

35. And let them gather all the food of these seven good years that are coming, and let the grain be gathered under the hand of Pharaoh; let food be kept in the cities.

36. కరవుచేత ఈ దేశము నశించిపోకుండ ఆ ఆహారము ఐగుప్తుదేశములో రాబోవు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఏడింటికి ఈ దేశమందు సంగ్రహముగా నుండునని ఫరోతో చెప్పెను.

36. And the stored food shall be for the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; and the land shall not be utterly destroyed by the famine.

37. ఆ మాట ఫరో దృష్టికిని అతని సమస్త సేవకుల దృష్టికిని యుక్తమైయుండెను గనుక

37. And the word was pleasing in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of all his servants.

38. అతడు తన సేవకులను చూచి ఇతనివలె దేవుని ఆత్మగల మనుష్యుని కనుగొనగలమా అని యనెను.

38. And Pharaoh said to all his servants, Shall we find such a man as this, who has the Spirit of God in him?

39. మరియు ఫరో - దేవుడు ఇదంతయు నీకు తెలియపరచెను గనుక నీవలె వివేక జ్ఞానములు గలవారెవరును లేరు.

39. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Since God has shown you all these things, there is not a wiser or more prudent man than you.

40. నీవు నా యింటికి అధికారివై యుండవలెను, నా ప్రజలందరు నీకు విధేయులై యుందురు; సింహాసన విషయములో మాత్రమే నేను నీకంటె పైవాడనై యుందునని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:10

40. You shall be over my house, and all my people shall be obedient to your word; only in the throne will I excel you.

41. మరియు ఫరో - చూడుము, ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతటి మీద నిన్ను నియమించి యున్నానని యోసేపుతో చెప్పెను.

41. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, Behold, I set you this day over all the land of Egypt.

42. మరియు ఫరో తన చేతినున్న తన ఉంగరము తీసి యోసేపు చేతిని పెట్టి, సన్నపు నారబట్టలు అతనికి తొడిగించి, అతని మెడకు బంగారు గొలుసు వేసి

42. And Pharaoh took his ring off his hand, and put it on the hand of Joseph, and put on him a robe of fine linen, and put a necklace of gold about his neck.

43. And he mounted him on the second of his chariots, and a herald made proclamation before him; and he set him over all the land of Egypt.

44. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపుతో - ఫరోను నేనే; అయినను నీ సెలవు లేక ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఏ మనుష్యుడును తన చేతినైనను కాలినైనను ఎత్తకూడదని చెప్పెను.

44. And Pharaoh said to Joseph, I am Pharaoh; without you no one shall lift up his hand on all the land of Egypt.

45. మరియు ఫరో యోసేపునకు జప్నత్ప నేహు అను పేరు పెట్టి, అతనికి ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు నిచ్చి పెండ్లి చేసెను.

45. And Pharaoh called the name of Joseph Zaphnath-Paaneah; and he gave him Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of Heliopolis, as a wife.

46. యోసేపు బయలుదేరి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచరించెను. యోసేపు ఐగుప్తు రాజైన ఫరో యెదుట నిలిచినప్పుడు ముప్పది సంవత్సరములవాడై యుండెను. అప్పుడు యోసేపు ఫరో యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతట సంచారము చేసెను.

46. And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh, king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went through all the land of Egypt.

47. సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన యేడు సంవత్సరములలో భూమి బహు విరివిగా పండెను.

47. And the land produced, in the seven years of plenty, [whole] handfuls [of grain].

48. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందున్న యేడు సంవత్సరముల ఆహారమంతయు అతడు సమకూర్చి, ఆయా పట్టణములలో దాని నిలువచేసెను. ఏ పట్టణము చుట్టునుండు పొలముయొక్క ధాన్యము ఆ పట్టణమందే నిలువచేసెను.

48. And he gathered all the food of the seven years, in which was the plenty in the land of Egypt; and he laid up the food in the cities; the food of the fields of a city round about it he laid up in it.

49. యోసేపు సముద్రపు ఇసుకవలె అతి విస్తారముగా ధాన్యము పోగుచేసెను. కొలుచుట అసాధ్యమాయెను గనుక కొలుచుట మానివేసెను.

49. And Joseph gathered very much grain as the sand of the sea, until it could not be numbered, for there was no number of it.

50. కరవు సంవత్సరములు రాకమునుపు యోసేపుకిద్దరు కుమారులు పుట్టిరి. ఓను యొక్క యాజకుడైన పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయగు ఆసెనతు అతనికి వారిని కనెను.

50. And to Joseph were born two sons, before the seven years of famine came, which Asenath, the daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of Heliopolis, bore to him.

51. అప్పుడు యోసేపు దేవుడు నా సమస్త బాధను నా తండ్రియింటి వారినందరిని నేను మరచి పోవునట్లు చేసెనని చెప్పి తన జ్యేష్ఠకుమారునికి మనష్షే అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

51. And Joseph called the name of the firstborn, Manasseh; for God, [he said], has made me forget all my toils, and all my father's house.

52. తరువాత అతడు నాకు బాధ కలిగిన దేశమందు దేవుడు నన్ను అభివృద్ధి పొందించెనని చెప్పి, రెండవవానికి ఎఫ్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

52. And he called the name of the second, Ephraim; for God, [he said], has increased me in the land of my humiliation.

53. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు సమృద్ధిగా పంటపండిన సంవత్సరములు గడచిన తరువాత

53. And the seven years of plenty passed away, which were in the land of Egypt.

54. యోసేపు చెప్పిన ప్రకారము ఏడు కరవు సంవత్సరములు ఆరంభమాయెను గాని ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఆహారముండెను.
అపో. కార్యములు 7:11

54. And the seven years of famine began to come, as Joseph said; and there was a famine in all the land; but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

55. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను కరవు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఆ దేశస్థులు ఆహారము కోసము ఫరోతో మొరపెట్టుకొనిరి, అప్పుడు ఫరో - మీరు యోసేపు నొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతడు మీతో చెప్పునట్లు చేయుడని ఐగుప్తీయులందరితో చెప్పెను.

55. And all the land of Egypt was hungry; and the people cried to Pharaoh for bread. And Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, Go to Joseph, and do whatever he shall say to you.

56. కరవు ఆ దేశమందంతటను ఉండెను గనుక యోసేపు కొట్లన్నియు విప్పించి ఐగుప్తీయులకు ధాన్యమమ్మకము చేసెను. ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఆ కరవు భారముగా ఉండెను;

56. And the famine was on the face of all the earth; and Joseph opened all the granaries, and sold to all the Egyptians.

57. మరియు ఆ కరవు ప్రతి దేశమందు భారమైనందున సమస్త దేశస్థులు యోసేపునొద్ద ధాన్యము కొనుటకు ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

57. And all countries came to Egypt to buy from Joseph, for the famine prevailed in all the earth.
