1. యోసేపు తన తండ్రి ముఖముమీద పడి అతని గూర్చి యేడ్చి అతని ముద్దుపెట్టుకొనెను.

1. Then Ioseph fell vpon his fathers face and wept vpon him, and kissed him.

2. తరువాత యోసేపు సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో తన తండ్రి శవమును సిద్ధపరచవలెనని తన దాసులైన వైద్యులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను గనుక ఆ వైద్యులు ఇశ్రాయేలును సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో సిద్ధపరచిరి.

2. And Ioseph commanded his seruantes the physicions, to enbaume his father, and the physicions enbaumed Israel.

3. సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో సిద్ధపరచబడువారి కొరకు దినములు సంపూర్ణమగునట్లు అతనికొరకు నలుబది దినములు సంపూర్ణమాయెను. అతనిగూర్చి ఐగుప్తీయులు డెబ్బది దినములు అంగలార్చిరి.

3. So fourtie dayes were accomplished (for so long did the dayes of them that were enbaumed last) and the Egyptians bewayled him seuentie dayes.

4. అతనిగూర్చిన అంగలార్పు దినములు గడచిన తరువాత యోసేపు ఫరో యింటి వారితో మాటలాడి - మీ కటాక్షము నామీద నున్నయెడల మీరు అనుగ్రహించి నా మనవి ఫరో చెవిని వేసి

4. And when the dayes of his mourning were past, Ioseph spake to the house of Pharaoh, saying, If I haue nowe found fauour in your eyes, speake, I pray you, in the eares of Pharaoh, and say,

5. నా తండ్రి నాచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించి - ఇదిగో నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను, కనానులో నా నిమిత్తము సమాధి త్రవ్వించితిని గదా, అందులోనే నన్ను పాతిపెట్టవలెనని చెప్పెను. కాబట్టి సెలవైతే నేనక్కడికి వెళ్లి నా తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టి మరల వచ్చెదనని చెప్పుడనెను.

5. My father made me sweare, saying, Loe, I die, bury me in my graue, which I haue made me in the land of Canaan: now therefore let me go, I pray thee, and bury my father, and I wil come againe.

6. అందుకు ఫరో అతడు నీచేత చేయించిన ప్రమాణము చొప్పున వెళ్లి నీ తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుమని సెలవిచ్చెను.

6. Then Pharaoh said, Goe vp and bury thy father, as he made thee to sweare.

7. కాబట్టి యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుటకు పోయెను; అతనితో ఫరో యింటి పెద్దలైన అతని సేవకులందరును ఐగుప్తు దేశపు పెద్దలందరును

7. So Ioseph went vp to bury his father, and with him went all the seruants of Pharaoh, both the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt.

8. యోసేపు యింటివారందరును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రి ఇంటివారును వెళ్లిరి. వారు తమ పిల్లలను తమ గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను తమ పశువులను మాత్రము గోషెను దేశములో విడిచిపెట్టిరి.

8. Likewise all the house of Ioseph, and his brethren, and his fathers house: onely their children, and their sheepe, and their cattell left they in the land of Goshen.

9. మరియు రథములును రౌతులును అతనితో వెళ్లినందున ఆ సమూహము బహు విస్తారమాయెను.

9. And there went vp with him both charets and horsemen: and they were an exceeding great company.

10. యెర్దానునకు అవతలనున్న ఆఠదు కళ్లమునొద్దకు చేరి అక్కడ బహు ఘోరముగా అంగలార్చిరి. అతడు తన తండ్రిని గూర్చి యేడు దినములు దుఃఖము సలిపెను.

10. And they came to Goren Atad, which is beyond Iorden, and there they made a great and exceeding sore lamentation: and he mourned for his father seuen dayes.

11. ఆ దేశమందు నివసించిన కనానీయులు ఆఠదు కళ్లము నొద్ద ఆ దుఃఖము సలుపుట చూచి - ఐగుప్తీయులకు ఇది మిక్కటమైన దుఃఖమని చెప్పుకొనిరి గనుక దానికి ఆబేల్‌ మిస్రాయిము అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను, అది యొర్దానునకు అవతల నున్నది.

11. And when the Canaanites the inhabitants of the lande sawe the mourning in Goren Atad, they sayde, This is a great mourning vnto the Egyptians: wherefore the name thereof was called Abel Mizraim, which is beyond Iorden.

12. అతని కుమారులు తన విషయమై అతడు వారి కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు చేసిరి.

12. So his sonnes did vnto him, according as he had commanded them:

13. అతని కుమారులు కనాను దేశమునకు అతని శవమును తీసికొనిపోయి మక్పేలా పొలమందున్న గుహలో పాతి పెట్టిరి. దానిని ఆ పొలమును అబ్రాహాము తనకు శ్మశానముకొరకు స్వాస్థ్యముగానుండు నిమిత్తము మమ్రే యెదుట హిత్తెయుడైన ఎఫ్రోను యొద్ద కొనెను

13. For his sonnes caried him into the lande of Canaan, and buried him in the caue of the fielde of Machpelah, which caue Abraham bought with the fielde, to be a place to bury in, of Ephron the Hittite besides Mamre.

14. యోసేపు తన తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టిన తరువాత అతడును అతని సహోదరులును అతని తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్ట వెళ్లిన వారందరును తిరిగి ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

14. Then Ioseph returned into Egypt, he and his brethren, and al that went vp with him to bury his father, after that he had buried his father.

15. యోసేపు సహోదరులు తమ తండ్రి మృతిపొందుట చూచి ఒకవేళ యోసేపు మనయందు పగపట్టి మన మతనికి చేసిన కీడంతటి చొప్పున మనకు నిశ్చయముగా కీడు జరిగించుననుకొని

15. And when Iosephs brethren saw that their father was dead, they sayde, It may be that Ioseph will hate vs, and will pay vs againe all the euill, which we did vnto him.

16. యోసేపునకు ఈలాగు వర్తమాన మంపిరి

16. Therefore they sent vnto Ioseph, saying, Thy father commanded before his death, saying,

17. - నీ తండ్రి తాను చావక మునుపు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన దేమనగా - మీరు యోసేపుతో నీ సహోదరులు నీకు కీడు చేసిరి గనుక దయచేసి వారి అపరాధమును వారి పాపమును క్షమించుమని అతనితో చెప్పుడనెను. కాబట్టి దయచేసి నీ తండ్రి దేవుని దాసులా అపరాధము క్షమించుమనిరి. వారు యోసేపుతో ఈలాగు మాటలాడుచుండగా అతడు ఏడ్చెను.

17. Thus shall ye say vnto Ioseph, Forgiue now, I pray thee, the trespasse of thy brethren, and their sinne: for they rewarded thee euil. And nowe, we pray thee, forgiue the trespasse of the seruants of thy fathers God. And Ioseph wept, when they spake vnto him.

18. మరియు అతని సహోదరులు పోయి అతని యెదుట సాగిలపడి ఇదిగో - మేము నీకు దాసులమని చెప్పగా

18. Also his brethren came vnto him, and fell downe before his face, and sayde, Beholde, we be thy seruants.

19. యోసేపు - భయపడకుడి, నేను దేవుని స్థానమందున్నానా?

19. To whome Ioseph sayde, Feare not: for am not I vnder God?

20. మీరు నాకు కీడుచేయ నుద్దేశించితిరి గాని నేటి దినమున జరుగుచున్నట్లు, అనగా బహు ప్రజలను బ్రదికించునట్లుగా అది మేలుకే దేవుడు ఉద్దేశించెను.

20. When ye thought euill against mee, God disposed it to good, that he might bring to passe, as it is this day, and saue much people aliue.

21. కాబట్టి భయపడకుడి, నేను మిమ్మును మీ పిల్లలను పోషించెదనని చెప్పి వారిని ఆదరించి వారితో ప్రీతిగా మాటలాడెను.

21. Feare not nowe therefore, I will nourish you, and your children: and hee comforted them, and spake kindly vnto them.

22. యోసేపు అతని తండ్రి కుటుంబపువారును ఐగుప్తులో నివసించిరి, యోసేపు నూటపది సంవత్సరములు బ్రదికెను.

22. So Ioseph dwelt in Egypt, he, and his fathers house: and Ioseph liued an hundreth and tenne yeere.

23. యోసేపు ఎఫ్రాయిముయొక్క మూడవతరము పిల్లలను చూచెను; మరియు మనష్షే కుమారుడైన మాకీరునకు కుమారులు పుట్టి యోసేపు ఒడిలో ఉంచబడిరి.

23. And Ioseph saw Ephraims children, euen vnto the third generation: also the sonnes of Machir the sonne of Manasseh were brought vp on Iosephs knees.

24. యోసేపు తన సహోదరులను చూచి - నేను చనిపోవుచున్నాను; దేవుడు నిశ్చయముగా మిమ్మును చూడవచ్చి, యీ దేశములోనుండి తాను అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో ప్రమాణము చేసియిచ్చిన దేశమునకు మిమ్మును తీసికొని పోవునని చెప్పెను

24. And Ioseph sayd vnto his brethren, I am ready to dye, and God will surely visite you, and bring you out of this land, vnto ye land which hee sware vnto Abraham, vnto Izhak, and vnto Iaakob.

25. మరియు యోసేపు దేవుడు నిశ్చయముగా మిమ్మును చూడవచ్చును; అప్పుడు మీరు నా యెముకలను ఇక్కడనుండి తీసికొని పోవలెనని చెప్పి ఇశ్రాయేలు కుమారులచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించుకొనెను.

25. And Ioseph tooke an othe of the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visite you, and ye shall cary my bones hence.

26. యోసేపు నూటపది సంవత్సరములవాడై మృతి పొందెను. వారు సుగంధ ద్రవ్యములతో అతని శవమును సిద్ధపరచి ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఒక పెట్టెలో ఉంచిరి.

26. So Ioseph died, when he was an hundreth and ten yere olde: and they enbaumed him and put him in a chest in Egypt.
