1. So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth;

2. and let the fear of you and the dread of you be upon every living creature of the earth, and upon every bird of the heavens, over everything that moveth along on the ground, and over all the fishes of the sea, into your hand, have they been given.

3. As for every moving thing that hath life, yours, shall it be, for food, Like the green herb, have I given you all things.

4. అయినను మాంసమును దాని రక్తముతో మీరు తినకూడదు; రక్తమే దాని ప్రాణము.

4. Yet flesh with the life thereof, the bleed thereof, shall ye not eat;

5. మరియు మీకు ప్రాణమైన మీ రక్తమును గూర్చి విచారణ చేయుదును; దానిగూర్చి ప్రతిజంతువును నరులను విచారణ చేయుదును; ప్రతి నరుని ప్రాణమును గూర్చి వాని సహోదరుని విచారణ చేయుదును.

5. And surely your blood, of your lives, will I require, From the hand of every living creature, will I require it, and from the hand of man From the hand of each ones brother, will I require the life of man:

6. నరుని రక్తమును చిందించు వాని రక్తము నరునివలననే చిందింపబడును; ఏలయనగా దేవుడు తన స్వరూపమందు నరుని చేసెను.

6. He that sheddeth man's blood, by man, shall his blood be shed, For, in the image of God, made he man.

7. మీరు ఫలించి అభివృద్ధి నొందుడి; మీరు భూమిమీద సమృద్ధిగా సంతానము కని విస్తరించుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.

7. Ye, therefore, be fruitful and multiply, swarm in the earth and multiply therein.

8. మరియు దేవుడు నోవహు అతని కుమారులతో

8. And God spake unto Noah, and unto his sons with him saying:

9. ఇదిగో నేను మీతోను మీ తదనంతరము మీ సంతానముతోను మీతోకూడనున్న ప్రతి జీవితోను,

9. I, therefore, behold me! establishing my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

10. పక్షులేమి పశువులేమి మీతోకూడ సమస్తమైన భూజంతువులేమి ఓడలోనుండి బయటికి వచ్చిన సమస్త భూజంతువులతోను నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరచుచున్నాను.

10. and with every living soul that is with you, of birds, of tame-beasts and of all wild-beasts of the earth that are with you, of all coming forth out of the ark, even to all wild-beasts of the earth;

11. నేను మీతో నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరచుదును; సమస్త శరీరులు ప్రవాహ జలములవలన ఇకను లయపరచబడరు; భూమిని నాశనము చేయుటకు ఇకను జలప్రవాహము కలుగదని పలికెను.

11. yea, I will establish my covenant with you, so that all flesh shall not be cut off any more, by reason of the waters of a flood, neither shall there he any more a flood to destroy the earth.

12. మరియు దేవుడు నాకును మీకును మీతోకూడనున్న సమస్త జీవరాసులకును మధ్య నేను తరతరములకు ఏర్ప రచుచున్న నిబంధనకు గురుతు ఇదే.

12. And God said, This, is the sign of the covenant which I am granting betwixt me and you, and every living soul that is with you, to age-abiding generations:

13. మేఘములో నా ధనుస్సును ఉంచితిని; అది నాకును భూమికిని మధ్య నిబంధనకు గురుతుగా నుండును.

13. My bow, have I set in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant, betwixt me and the earth;

14. భూమిపైకి నేను మేఘమును రప్పించునప్పుడు ఆ ధనుస్సు మేఘములో కనబడును.

14. and it shall be when I draw a veil of cloud over the earth, and the bow in the cloud appeareth,

15. అప్పుడు నాకును మీకును సమస్త జీవరాసులకును మధ్యనున్న నా నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొందును గనుక సమస్త శరీరులను నాశనము చేయుటకు ఆలాగు ప్రవాహముగా నీళ్లు రావు.

15. then will I remember my covenant which is betwixt me and you, and every living soul among all flesh, that the waters may no more become a flood, to destroy all flesh:

16. ఆ ధనుస్సు మేఘములో నుండును. నేను దాని చూచి దేవునికిని భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త శరీరులలో ప్రాణముగల ప్రతి దానికిని మధ్యనున్న నిత్య నిబంధనను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొందుననెను.

16. so the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will behold it, to remember an age-abiding covenant, between God, and every living soul among all flesh that is on the earth.

17. మరియు దేవుడు నాకును భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్తశరీరులకును మధ్య నేను స్థిరపరచిన నిబంధనకు గురుతు ఇదే అని నోవహుతో చెప్పెను.

17. And God said unto Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which have established, between me and all flesh that is on the earth.

18. ఓడలోనుండి వచ్చిన నోవహు కుమారులు షేము హాము యాపెతనువారు; హాము కనానుకు తండ్రి.

18. And the sons of Noah who came forth out of the ark, were Shem and Ham and Japheth, now, Ham, was the father of Canaan.

19. ఈ ముగ్గురు నోవహు కుమారులు; వీరి సంతానము భూమియందంతట వ్యాపించెను.

19. These three, were the sons of Noah, and from these, was all the earth overspread.

20. నోవహు వ్యవసాయము చేయనారంభించి, ద్రాక్షతోట వేసెను.

20. And Noah began to he a husbandman, so he planted a vineyard:

21. పిమ్మట ద్రాక్షారసము త్రాగి మత్తుడై తన గుడారములో వస్త్రహీనుడుగా నుండెను.

21. and dank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself in the midst of his tent.

22. అప్పుడు కనానుకు తండ్రియైన హాము తన తండ్రి వస్త్రహీనుడై యుండుట చూచి బయటనున్న తన యిద్దరు సహోదరులకు ఆ సంగతి తెలిపెను.

22. And Ham the father of Canaan saw his father's shame, and told his two brethren outside.

23. అప్పుడు షేమును యాపెతును వస్త్రమొకటి తీసికొని తమ యిద్దరి భుజములమీద వేసికొని వెనుకకు నడిచి వెళ్లి తమ తండ్రి దిసమొలను కప్పిరి; వారి ముఖములు వెనుకతట్టు ఉండుట వలన తమ తండ్రి దిసమొలను చూడలేదు.

23. And Shem and Japheth took a mantle, and put it on the shoulder of them both and went backwards, and covered the shame of their father, but their faces were backwards, and the shame of their father, saw they not.

24. అప్పుడు నోవహు మత్తునుండి మేలుకొని తన చిన్నకుమారుడు చేసినదానిని తెలిసికొని -

24. And Noah awoke from his wine, and came to know what his youngest sore had done to him.

25. కనాను శపింపబడినవాడై తన సహోదరులకు దాసాను దాసుడగును అనెను.

25. And he said, Accursed be Canaan, a servant of servants, shall he be to his brethren!

26. మరియు అతడు షేము దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్తుతింపబడునుగాక కనాను అతనికి దాసుడగును.

26. And he said, Blessed be Yahweh, God of Shem, And let Cantata he their servant:

27. దేవుడు యాపెతును విశాలపరచును అతడు షేము గుడారములలో నివసించును అతనికి కనాను దాసుడగును అనెను.

27. God give extension to Japheth, But make his habitation in the tents of Shem, And let Canaan be their servant.

28. ఆ జలప్రవాహము గతించిన తరువాత నోవహు మూడువందల ఏబది యేండ్లు బ్రదికెను.

28. And Noah lived after the flood, three hundred and fifty years:

29. నోవహు బ్రదికిన దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల ఏబది యేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

29. so, all the days of Noah, were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.
