1. యెహోవా తన్ను సౌలుచేతిలోనుండియు, తనశత్రువులందరి చేతిలోనుండియు తప్పించిన దినమున దావీదు ఈ గీత వాక్యములను చెప్పియెహోవాను స్తోత్రించెను. అతడిట్లనెను.

1. And David spoke to the Lord the words of this song, in the day in which the Lord rescued him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.

2. యెహోవా నా శైలము, నా కోట, నా రక్షకుడు.

2. And the song was thus: O Lord, my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer,

3. నా దుర్గము, నేను ఆయనను ఆశ్రయించుదును. నా కేడెము నా రక్షణశృంగమునా ఉన్నతదుర్గము నా ఆశ్రయస్థానము. ఆయనే నాకు రక్షకుడుబలాత్కారులనుండి నన్ను రక్షించువాడవు నీవే.

3. my God; He shall be to me my guard, I will trust in Him: [He is] my protector, and the horn of my salvation, my helper, and my sure refuge; You shall save me from the unjust man.

4. కీర్తనీయుడైన యెహోవాకు నేను మొఱ్ఱ పెట్టితిని నా శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి ఆయన నన్ను రక్షించెను.

4. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I shall be saved from my enemies.

5. మృత్యువుయొక్క అలలు నన్ను చుట్టుకొనగనువరదపొర్లువలె భక్తిహీనులు నా మీదికి వచ్చి నన్ను బెదరించగను

5. For the troubles of death compassed me, the floods of iniquity amazed me;

6. పాతాళపాశములు నన్ను అరికట్టగను మరణపు ఉరులు నన్ను ఆవరించగను

6. the pangs of death surrounded me, the agonies of death prevented me.

7. నా శ్రమలో నేను యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱ పెట్టితిని నా దేవుని ప్రార్థన చేసితిని ఆయన తన ఆలయములో ఆలకించి నా ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించెనునా మొఱ్ఱ ఆయన చెవులలో చొచ్చెను.

7. When I am afflicted I will call upon the Lord, and will cry to my God, and He shall hear my voice out of His temple, and my cry shall come into His ears.

8. అప్పుడు భూమి కంపించి అదిరెనుపరమండలపు పునాదులు వణకెనుఆయన కోపింపగా అవి కంపించెను.

8. And the earth was troubled and quaked, and the foundations of heaven were confounded and torn asunder, because the Lord was angry with them.

9. ఆయన నాసికారంధ్రములలోనుండి పొగ పుట్టెనుఆయన నోటనుండి అగ్నివచ్చి దహించెనునిప్పు కణములను రాజబెట్టెను.

9. There went up a smoke in His wrath, and fire out of His mouth devours; coals were kindled at it.

10. మేఘములను వంచి ఆయన వచ్చెనుఆయన పాదముల క్రింద గాఢాంధకారము కమ్మియుండెను.

10. And He bowed the heavens, and came down, and [there was] darkness under His feet.

11. కెరూబుమీద ఎక్కి ఆయన యెగిరి వచ్చెను. గాలి రెక్కలమీద ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను.

11. And He rode upon the cherubim and flew, and was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12. గుడారమువలె అంధకారము తనచుట్టు వ్యాపింపజేసెను. నీటిమబ్బుల సముదాయములను, ఆకాశపు దట్టపు మేఘములను వ్యాపింపజేసెను.

12. And He made darkness His hiding place; His tabernacle round about Him was the darkness of waters, He condensed it with the clouds of the air.

13. ఆయన సన్నిధికాంతిలోనుండి నిప్పుకణములు పుట్టెను.

13. At the brightness before Him coals of fire were kindled.

14. యెహోవా ఆకాశమందు గర్జించెను సర్వోన్నతుడు ఉరుముధ్వని పుట్టించెను.

14. The Lord thundered out of heaven, and the Most High uttered His voice.

15. తనబాణములను ప్రయోగించి శత్రువులను చెదరగొట్టెనుమెరుపులను ప్రయోగించి వారిని తరిమివేసెనుయెహోవా గద్దింపునకుతన నాసికారంధ్రముల శ్వాసము వడిగావిడువగా ఆయన గద్దింపునకుప్రవాహముల అడుగుభాగములు కనబడెను

15. And He sent forth arrows, and scattered them, and He flashed lightning, and dismayed them.

16. భూమి పునాదులు బయలుపడెను.

16. And the channels of the sea were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of His anger.

17. ఉన్నతస్థలములనుండి చెయ్యి చాపి ఆయన నన్ను పట్టుకొనెనునన్ను పట్టుకొని మహా జలరాసులలోనుండి తీసెను.

17. He sent from above and took me; He drew me out of many waters.

18. బలవంతులగు పగవారు, నన్ను ద్వేషించువారు, నాకంటె బలిష్ఠులై యుండగా వారి వశమునుండి ఆయన నన్ను రక్షించెను.

18. He delivered me from my strong enemies, from them that hated me, for they were stronger than I.

19. ఆపత్కాలమందు వారు నామీదికి రాగా యెహోవా నన్ను ఆదుకొనెను. విశాలమైన స్థలమునకు నన్ను తోడుకొని వచ్చెను.

19. The days of my affliction prevented me; but the Lord was my stay.

20. నేను ఆయనకు ఇష్టుడను గనుక ఆయన నన్ను తప్పిం చెను.

20. And He brought me into a wide place, and rescued me, because He delighted in me.

21. నా నీతినిబట్టి ఆయన నాకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెను నా నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టియే నాకు ప్రతిఫల మిచ్చెను.

21. And the Lord recompensed me according to my righteousness; even according to the purity of my hands did He recompense me.

22. యెహోవా మార్గములను నేను అనుసరించుచున్నాను. భక్తిహీనుడనై నా దేవుని విడచినవాడను కాను.

22. Because, I kept the ways of the Lord, and did not wickedly depart from my God.

23. ఆయన న్యాయవిధుల నన్నిటిని నేను లక్ష్యపెట్టుచున్నాను ఆయన కట్టడలను త్రోసివేసిన వాడనుకాను.

23. For all His judgments and His ordinances [were] before me: I departed not from them.

24. దోషక్రియలు నేను చేయనొల్లకుంటిని ఆయన దృష్టికి యథార్థుడనైతిని.

24. And I shall be blameless before Him, and will keep myself from my iniquity.

25. కావున నేను నిర్దోషినై యుండుట యెహోవా చూచెను తన దృష్టికి కనబడిన నా చేతుల నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టి నాకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెను.

25. And the Lord will recompense me according to my righteousness, and according to the purity of my hands in His sight.

26. దయగలవారియెడల నీవు దయ చూపించుదువు యథార్థవంతులయెడల నీవు యథార్థవంతుడవుగానుందువు.

26. With the holy You will be holy, and with the blameless man You will be blameless,

27. సద్భావముగల వారియెడల నీవు సద్భావము చూపుదువు మూర్ఖులయెడల నీవు వికటముగా నుందువు.

27. and with the excellent You will be excellent, and with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd.

28. శ్రమపడువారిని నీవు రక్షించెదవు గర్విష్ఠులకు విరోధివై వారిని అణచి వేసెదవు
లూకా 1:51

28. And You will save the poor people, and will bring down the eyes of the haughty.

29. యెహోవా, నీవు నాకు దీపమై యున్నావు యెహోవా చీకటిని నాకు వెలుగుగా చేయును.

29. For You, O Lord, [are] my lamp, and the Lord shall shine forth to me in my darkness.

30. నీ సహాయముచేత నేను సైన్యములను జయింతును నా దేవుని సహాయమువలన నేను ప్రాకారములను దాటుదును.

30. For by You shall I run [as] a girded man, and by my God shall I leap over a wall.

31. దేవుడు యథార్థవంతుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నిర్మలము ఆయన శరణుజొచ్చువారికందరికి ఆయన కేడెము.

31. As for the Mighty One, His way [is] blameless: the word of the Lord [is] strong [and] tried in the fire; He is a protector to all that put their trust in Him.

32. యెహోవా తప్ప దేవుడేడి? మన దేవుడు తప్ప ఆశ్రయదుర్గమేది?

32. Who [is] strong, but the Lord? And who will be a Creator except our God?

33. దేవుడు నాకు బలమైన కోటగా ఉన్నాడు ఆయన తన మార్గమునందు యథార్థవంతులను నడి పించును.

33. [It is] the Mighty One who strengthens me with might, and has prepared my way without fault.

34. ఆయన నా కాళ్లు జింకకాళ్లవలె చేయును ఎత్తయిన స్థలములమీద నన్ను నిలుపును.

34. He makes my feet like the feet of deer, and sets me upon the high places.

35. నా చేతులకు యుద్ధముచేయ నేర్పువాడు ఆయనే నా బాహువులు ఇత్తడి విల్లును ఎక్కు బెట్టును.

35. He teaches my hands to war, and has broken the bronze bow by my arm.

36. నీవు నీ రక్షణ కేడెమును నాకు అందించుదువు నీ సాత్వికము నన్ను గొప్పచేయును.

36. And You have given me the shield of my salvation, and Your propitious dealing has increased me,

37. నా పాదములకు చోటు విశాలపరచుదువు నా చీలమండలు బెణకలేదు.

37. so as to make room under me for my going, and my legs did not totter.

38. నా శత్రువులను తరిమి నాశనము చేయుదును వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు నేను తిరుగను.

38. I will pursue my enemies, and will utterly destroy them; and I will not turn again till I have consumed them.

39. నేను వారిని మింగివేయుదును వారిని తుత్తినియలుగా కొట్టుదును వారు నా పాదముల క్రింద పడి లేవలేకయుందురు.

39. And I will crush them, and they shall not rise; and they shall fall under my feet.

40. యుద్ధమునకు బలము నీవు నన్ను ధరింపజేయుదువు నామీదికి లేచినవారిని నీవు అణచివేయుదువు.

40. And You shall strengthen me with power for the war; You shall cause them that rise up against me to bow down under me.

41. నా శత్రువులను వెనుకకు మళ్లచేయుదువు నన్ను ద్వేషించువారిని నేను నిర్మూలము చేయుదును.

41. And You have caused my enemies to flee before me, even them that hated me, and You have slain them.

42. వారు ఎదురు చూతురు గాని రక్షించువాడు ఒకడును లేకపోవును వారు యెహోవాకొరకు కనిపెట్టుకొనినను ఆయన వారికి ప్రత్యుత్తరమియ్యకుండును.

42. They shall cry, and there shall be no helper; [they shall cry] to the Lord, but He hearkens not to them.

43. నేల ధూళివలె వారిని నలుగగొట్టెదను పొడిగా వారిని కొట్టెదను వీధిలోని పెంటవలె నేను వారిని పారపోసి అణగద్రొక్కెదను.

43. And I ground them as the dust of the earth, I beat them small as the mire of the streets.

44. నా ప్రజల కలహములలో పడకుండ నీవు నన్నువిడిపించితివి జనులకు అధికారిగా నన్ను నిలిపితివి నేను ఎరుగని జనులు నన్ను సేవించెదరు.

44. And You shall deliver me from the striving of the peoples, You shall keep me [to be] the head of the Gentiles:; a people which I knew not served me.

45. అన్యులు నాకు లోబడినట్టు వేషము వేయుదురు వారు నన్నుగూర్చి వినిన మాత్రముచేత నాకు విధేయులగుదురు

45. The strange children feigned [obedience] to me; they hearkened to me as soon as they heard.

46. అన్యులు దుర్బలులై వణకుచు తమ దుర్గములను విడచి వచ్చెదరు.

46. The strange children shall be cast away, and shall be overthrown out of their hiding places.

47. యెహోవా జీవముగలవాడు నా ఆశ్రయదుర్గమైనవాడు స్తోత్రార్హుడు నాకు రక్షణాశ్రయ దుర్గమైన దేవుడు మహోన్నతుడగును గాక

47. The Lord lives, and blessed [be] my guardian, and my God, my strong keeper, [and He] shall be exalted.

48. ఆయన నా నిమిత్తము ప్రతిదండన చేయు దేవుడు ఆయన నా నిమిత్తము పగ తీర్చు దేవుడు జనములను నాకు లోపరచువాడు ఆయనే.

48. The Lord who avenges me [is] strong, chastening the nations under me,

49. ఆయనే నా శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి నన్ను విడిపించును నామీదికి లేచినవారికంటె ఎత్తుగా నీవు నన్ను హెచ్చించుదువు. బలాత్కారము చేయువారి చేతిలోనుండి నీవు నన్ను విడిపించుదువు.

49. and bringing me out from my enemies; and You shall set me on high from among those that rise up against me; You shall deliver me from the violent man.

50. అందువలన యెహోవా, అన్యజనులలో నేను నిన్ను ఘనపరచెదను. నీ నామకీర్తన గానముచేసెదను.
రోమీయులకు 15:9

50. Therefore will I confess to You, O Lord, among the Gentiles, and sing to Your name.

51. నీవు నియమించిన రాజునకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగ జేయువాడవు అభిషేకించిన దావీదునకును అతని సంతానమున కును నిత్యము కనికరము చూపువాడవు.

51. He magnifies the salvation of His king, and works mercy for His anointed, even for David and for his seed forever.
