1. యెహోవా నలుదిక్కుల అతని శత్రువులమీద అతనికి విజయమిచ్చి అతనికి నెమ్మది కలుగజేసిన తరువాత రాజుతన నగరియందు కాపురముండి నాతానను ప్రవక్తను పిలువ నంపి

1. And in process as the king dwelt in his house after that the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies,

2. నేను దేవదారుమ్రానుతో కట్టిన నగరియందు వాసము చేయుచుండగా దేవుని మందసము డేరాలో నిలిచియున్నదనగా

2. he said unto Nathan the prophet: behold, I dwell in a house of Cedar trees, but the Ark of God dwelleth in the midst of curtains.

3. నాతానుయెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా నున్నాడు, నీకు తోచినదంతయు నెరవేర్చుమనెను.

3. Then said Nathan unto the king: go and do all that is in thine heart, for the LORD is with thee.

4. అయితే ఆ రాత్రి యెహోవా వాక్కు నాతానునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగా

4. But that same night the word of the LORD came unto Nathan saying:

5. నీవు పోయి నా సేవకుడగు దావీదుతో ఇట్లనుముయెహోవా నీకాజ్ఞ ఇచ్చునదేమనగానాకు నివాసముగా ఒక మందిరమును కట్టింతువా?

5. go and tell my servant David, thus sayeth the LORD: shalt thou go build me an house for the LORD to dwell in?

6. ఐగుప్తులోనుండి నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రప్పించిన నాటనుండి నేటివరకు మందిరములో నివసింపక డేరాలోను గుడారములోను నివసించుచు సంచరించితిని.

6. For I have not dwelt in any house since the time I brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, unto this day: but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.

7. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతోకూడ నేను సంచరించిన కాల మంతయు నా జనులను పోషించుడని నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములలో ఎవరితోనైనను దేవ దారుమయమైన మందిరమొకటి మీరు నాకు కట్టింపక పోతిరే అని నేనెన్నడైనను అనియుంటినా?

7. In any way where I went among the children of Israel, spake I one word with any of the tribes of Israel which I commanded to feed my people Israel saying: why build ye not me an house of Cedar tree?

8. కాబట్టి నీవు నా సేవకుడగు దావీదుతో ఈలాగు చెప్పుముసైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా నీకు సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగాగొఱ్ఱెల కాపులోనున్న నిన్ను గొఱ్ఱెలదొడ్డిలోనుండి తీసి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను నా జనులమీద అధిపతిగా నియమించి తిని.

8. Now therefore so say unto my servant David, thus sayeth the LORD of Hosts I took thee out of a shepherd's cote from following sheep to be a ruler over my people Israel.

9. నీవు పోవు చోట్లనెల్లను నీకు తోడుగానుండి నీ శత్రువులనందరిని నీ యెదుట నిలువకుండ నిర్మూలముచేసి, లోకము లోని ఘనులైన వారికి కలుగు పేరు నీకు కలుగజేసి యున్నాను.

9. And I was with thee in all that thou wentest to, and have destroyed all thine enemies out of thy sight, and have made thee a great name, like unto the name of the great men of the world.

10. మరియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను నా జనులు ఇకను కదిలింపబడకుండ తమ స్వస్థలమందు నివసించునట్లు దానియందు వారిని నాటి, పూర్వము ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను నా జనులమీద నేను న్యాయాధిపతులను నియమించిన తరువాత జరుగుచు వచ్చినట్లు దుర్బుద్ధి గల జనులు ఇకను వారిని కష్టపెట్టకయుండునట్లుగా చేసి

10. And I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant it and they shall continue in one place and shall move no more, neither shall wicked people trouble them any more as they did at the beginning,

11. నీ శత్రువుల మీద నీకు జయమిచ్చి నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగజేసియున్నాను. మరియు యెహోవానగు నేను నీకు తెలియజేయు నదేమనగానేను నీకు సంతానము కలుగజేయుదును.

11. and since the time I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and I will give thee rest from all thine enemies. And the LORD telleth thee that he will build thee an household.

12. నీ దినములు సంపూర్ణములగునప్పుడు నీవు నీ పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించిన తరువాత నీ గర్భములోనుండి వచ్చిన నీ సంతతిని హెచ్చించి, రాజ్యమును అతనికి స్థిరపరచెదను.

12. And when thy days be fulfilled and thou laid to rest with thy fathers, then I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy body, and will stablish his kingdom.

13. And he shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the seat of his kingdom for ever:

14. I will be his father and he shall be my son: insomuch that if he sin, I will but rebuke him with such a rod as men be rebuked with and with such plagues as the children of men be plagued with.

15. నిన్ను స్థాపించుటకై నేను కొట్టి వేసిన సౌలునకు నా కృప దూరమైనట్లు అతనికి నా కృప దూరము చేయను.

15. But my mercy will I not take away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put down before thee.

16. నీ మట్టుకు నీ సంతానమును నీ రాజ్యమును నిత్యము స్థిరమగును, నీ సింహాసనము నిత్యము స్థిరపరచబడును అనెను.
లూకా 1:32-33

16. And thine house and thy kingdom shall endure without end after thee, and thy seat shall be stablished for ever.

17. తనకు కలిగిన దర్శన మంతటినిబట్టి యీ మాటలన్నిటి చొప్పున నాతాను దావీదునకు వర్తమానము తెలియ జెప్పెను.

17. And when Nathan had told David all these words and all this vision:

18. దావీదు రాజు లోపల ప్రవేశించి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కూర్చుండి ఈలాగున మనవి చేసెనునా ప్రభువా యెహోవా, ఇంతగా నీవు నన్ను హెచ్చించుటకు నే నెంతటివాడను? నా కుటుంబము ఏ పాటిది?

18. Then went king David and set him down before the LORD and said: what am I Lord Jehovah,(Lorde Iehouah) and what is my kin, that thou shouldest have brought me this far forth?

19. ఇంత హెచ్చుగా చేసినదంతయు నీ దృష్టికి కొంచెమై, మానవుల పద్ధతినిబట్టి, బహుకాలము జరిగిన తరువాత నీ దాసుడ నైన నా సంతానమునకు కలుగబోవుదానిని గూర్చి నీవు సెలవిచ్చియున్నావు. యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, దావీదు అను నేను ఇక నీతో ఏమి చెప్పుకొందును?

19. And is this a small thing in thy sight Lord Jehovah,(Lorde Iehouah) but that thou shouldest speak also of thy servant's house for a great while to come? is this a law among men Lord Jehovah?(Lorde Iehouah)

20. యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, నీ దాసుడనైన నన్ను నీవు ఎరిగియున్నావు.

20. And what can David say more unto thee, seeing thou knowest thy servant Lord Jehovah?(Lorde Iehouah)

21. నీ వాక్కునుబట్టి నీ యిష్టానుసారముగా ఈ ఘనకార్యములను జరిగించి నీ దాసుడనగు నాకు దీని తెలియజేసితివి.

21. Even for thy word's sake and according to thine own heart hast thou done all these great things to make them known unto thy servant.

22. కాబట్టి దేవా యెహోవా, నీవు అత్యంతమైన ఘనతగలవాడవు, నీవంటి దేవుడొకడును లేడు; మేము వినిన దానినంత టిని బట్టి చూడగా నీవు తప్ప దేవుడెవడును లేడు.

22. Wherefore thou art great O LORD God and there is none like thee, neither is there any God save thou, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

23. నీకు జనులగుటకై వారిని నీవు విమోచించునట్లును, నీకు ఖ్యాతి కలుగునట్లును, నీ జనులనుబట్టి నీ దేశమునకు భీకరమైన మహాకార్యములను చేయునట్లును దేవుడవైన నీవు ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండియు, ఆ జనుల వశములోనుండియు, వారి దేవతల వశములో నుండియు నీవు విమోచించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనునట్టి నీ జనులవంటి జనము లోకమునందు మరి ఎక్కడనున్నది.

23. And what one people in the earth is like thy people Israel, which God went and delivered to be his people, and to make him a name, and to shew them great and terrible things in the earth, before thy people which thou redeemest to thee out of Egypt, even from the people and from their gods.

24. మరియు యెహోవావైన నీవు వారికి దేవుడవైయుండి, వారు నిత్యము నీకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పేరుగల జనులై యుండునట్లుగా వారిని నిర్ధారణ చేసితివి.

24. And thou hast ordained thy people Israel to be thy people for ever. And thou LORD art their God.

25. దేవా యెహోవా, నీ దాసుడనగు నన్ను గూర్చియు నా కుటుంబ మునుగూర్చియు నీవు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యెన్నటికి నిలుచు నట్లు దృఢపరచి

25. And now LORD God the thing thou hast said of thy servant and of his house make it good for ever and do as thou hast said.

26. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు దేవుడై యున్నాడను మాటచేత నీ నామమునకు శాశ్వత మహిమ కలుగునట్లును, నీ దాసుడనైన నా కుటుంబము నీ సన్నిధిని స్థిరపరచబడునట్లును నీవు సెలవిచ్చినమాట నెరవేర్చుము.

26. And let thy name be great for ever, that men may say, the LORD of Hosts is the God of Israel: and let the house of thy servant David be stablished before thee.

27. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవానీకు సంతానము కలుగజేయుదునని నీవు నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు తెలియపరచితివి గనుక ఈలాగున నీతో మనవి చేయుటకై నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు ధైర్యము కలిగెను.

27. For thou LORD of Hosts God of Israel hast told in the ear of thy servant saying: I will build thee an house. And therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee.

28. యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, మేలు దయచేయుదునని నీవు నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నావే; నీవు దేవుడవు గనుక నీ మాట సత్యము.

28. And now Lord Jehovah(Lorde Iehouah) thou art the God, and thy words must be true: for thou hast told this goodness unto thy servant.

29. దయచేసి నీ దాసుడనైన నా కుటుంబము నిత్యము నీ సన్నిధిని ఉండునట్లుగా దానిని ఆశీర్వ దించుము; యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, నీవు సెలవిచ్చి యున్నావు; నీ ఆశీర్వాదమునొంది నా కుటుంబము నిత్యము ఆశీర్వదింపబడును గాక.

29. And now go to and bless the household of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee. For thou Lord Jehovah(Lorde Iehouah) hast said that of thy blessing the house of thy servant shall be blessed for ever.
