1. యెహోవా నలుదిక్కుల అతని శత్రువులమీద అతనికి విజయమిచ్చి అతనికి నెమ్మది కలుగజేసిన తరువాత రాజుతన నగరియందు కాపురముండి నాతానను ప్రవక్తను పిలువ నంపి

1. Afterward when the king sate in his house, & the Lord had geuen him rest round about from all his enemies,

2. నేను దేవదారుమ్రానుతో కట్టిన నగరియందు వాసము చేయుచుండగా దేవుని మందసము డేరాలో నిలిచియున్నదనగా

2. The king sayde vnto Nathan the prophete: Beholde, I dwell nowe in an house of Cedar trees, but the arke of God dwelleth within the curtaynes.

3. నాతానుయెహోవా నీకు తోడుగా నున్నాడు, నీకు తోచినదంతయు నెరవేర్చుమనెను.

3. And Nathan sayde to the king: Go, and do all that is in thyne heart, for the Lord is with thee.

4. అయితే ఆ రాత్రి యెహోవా వాక్కు నాతానునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగా

4. And the same night the worde of the Lorde came vnto Nathan, saying:

5. నీవు పోయి నా సేవకుడగు దావీదుతో ఇట్లనుముయెహోవా నీకాజ్ఞ ఇచ్చునదేమనగానాకు నివాసముగా ఒక మందిరమును కట్టింతువా?

5. Go, and tell my seruaunt Dauid, thus sayeth the Lorde: shalt thou buylde me an house to dwell in?

6. ఐగుప్తులోనుండి నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రప్పించిన నాటనుండి నేటివరకు మందిరములో నివసింపక డేరాలోను గుడారములోను నివసించుచు సంచరించితిని.

6. For I haue not dwelt in any house, sence the time that I brought the children of Israel out of Egypt, vnto this day: but haue walked in a tent and tabernacle.

7. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతోకూడ నేను సంచరించిన కాల మంతయు నా జనులను పోషించుడని నేను ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములలో ఎవరితోనైనను దేవ దారుమయమైన మందిరమొకటి మీరు నాకు కట్టింపక పోతిరే అని నేనెన్నడైనను అనియుంటినా?

7. In al the places wherin I haue walked with all the childre of Israel, spake I one worde with any of ye tribes of Israel, when I commaunded [the iudges] to feede my people Israel, saying, Why build ye not me an house of Cedar trees?

8. కాబట్టి నీవు నా సేవకుడగు దావీదుతో ఈలాగు చెప్పుముసైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా నీకు సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగాగొఱ్ఱెల కాపులోనున్న నిన్ను గొఱ్ఱెలదొడ్డిలోనుండి తీసి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను నా జనులమీద అధిపతిగా నియమించి తిని.

8. Now therfore, so say vnto my seruaunt Dauid: thus sayeth the lord of hoastes, I toke thee from the sheepe coate as thou wast folowing sheepe, that thou mightest be ruler ouer my people ouer Israel.

9. నీవు పోవు చోట్లనెల్లను నీకు తోడుగానుండి నీ శత్రువులనందరిని నీ యెదుట నిలువకుండ నిర్మూలముచేసి, లోకము లోని ఘనులైన వారికి కలుగు పేరు నీకు కలుగజేసి యున్నాను.

9. And I was with thee in all that thou wentest to, and haue destroyed all thyne enemies out of thy sight, & haue made thee a great name, lyke vnto the name of the great men that are in the earth.

10. మరియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను నా జనులు ఇకను కదిలింపబడకుండ తమ స్వస్థలమందు నివసించునట్లు దానియందు వారిని నాటి, పూర్వము ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను నా జనులమీద నేను న్యాయాధిపతులను నియమించిన తరువాత జరుగుచు వచ్చినట్లు దుర్బుద్ధి గల జనులు ఇకను వారిని కష్టపెట్టకయుండునట్లుగా చేసి

10. (Also I will appoynt a place for my people Israel, and will plant it, that they may dwell in a place of their owne, & moue no more: neither shall wicked people trouble them any more, as before time,

11. నీ శత్రువుల మీద నీకు జయమిచ్చి నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగజేసియున్నాను. మరియు యెహోవానగు నేను నీకు తెలియజేయు నదేమనగానేను నీకు సంతానము కలుగజేయుదును.

11. And sence the time that I set iudges ouer my people of Israel) And I will geue thee rest from all thyne enemies: And the Lorde telleth thee, that he will make thee an house.

12. నీ దినములు సంపూర్ణములగునప్పుడు నీవు నీ పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించిన తరువాత నీ గర్భములోనుండి వచ్చిన నీ సంతతిని హెచ్చించి, రాజ్యమును అతనికి స్థిరపరచెదను.

12. And when thy dayes be fulfilled, thou shalt sleepe with thy fathers, and I will set vp thy seede after thee, whiche shall proceede out of thy body, and will stablyshe his kingdome.

13. అతడు నా నామ ఘనతకొరకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించును; అతని రాజ్య సింహాసనమును నేను నిత్యముగా స్థిరపరచెదను;

13. He shall buyld house an for my name, & I wil stablyshe the throne of his kingdome for euer.

14. I will be his father, and he shalbe my sonne: If he sinne, I will chasten him with the rodde of men, and with the plagues of the children of men.

15. నిన్ను స్థాపించుటకై నేను కొట్టి వేసిన సౌలునకు నా కృప దూరమైనట్లు అతనికి నా కృప దూరము చేయను.

15. But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I toke it from Saul, who I put away before thee.

16. నీ మట్టుకు నీ సంతానమును నీ రాజ్యమును నిత్యము స్థిరమగును, నీ సింహాసనము నిత్యము స్థిరపరచబడును అనెను.
లూకా 1:32-33

16. And thyne house, and thy kingdome shall be stablished for euer before thee, [euen] thy throne shalbe stablished for euer.

17. తనకు కలిగిన దర్శన మంతటినిబట్టి యీ మాటలన్నిటి చొప్పున నాతాను దావీదునకు వర్తమానము తెలియ జెప్పెను.

17. According to all these wordes and according to all this vision, so dyd Nathan speake vnto Dauid.

18. దావీదు రాజు లోపల ప్రవేశించి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కూర్చుండి ఈలాగున మనవి చేసెనునా ప్రభువా యెహోవా, ఇంతగా నీవు నన్ను హెచ్చించుటకు నే నెంతటివాడను? నా కుటుంబము ఏ పాటిది?

18. Then went king Dauid in, and set him downe before the Lord, and sayde: Who am I, O Lorde God? and what is my house that thou hast brought me hyther to?

19. ఇంత హెచ్చుగా చేసినదంతయు నీ దృష్టికి కొంచెమై, మానవుల పద్ధతినిబట్టి, బహుకాలము జరిగిన తరువాత నీ దాసుడ నైన నా సంతానమునకు కలుగబోవుదానిని గూర్చి నీవు సెలవిచ్చియున్నావు. యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, దావీదు అను నేను ఇక నీతో ఏమి చెప్పుకొందును?

19. And this was yet a small thing in thy sight O Lorde God: but thou hast spoken also of thy seruauntes house for a great whyle: but doth this appertayne to man, O Lorde God?

20. యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, నీ దాసుడనైన నన్ను నీవు ఎరిగియున్నావు.

20. And what can Dauid say more vnto thee? for thou Lorde God knowest thy seruaunt.

21. నీ వాక్కునుబట్టి నీ యిష్టానుసారముగా ఈ ఘనకార్యములను జరిగించి నీ దాసుడనగు నాకు దీని తెలియజేసితివి.

21. Euen for thy wordes sake, & according to thyne owne heart, hast thou done al these great thinges, to make them knowen vnto thy seruaunt.

22. కాబట్టి దేవా యెహోవా, నీవు అత్యంతమైన ఘనతగలవాడవు, నీవంటి దేవుడొకడును లేడు; మేము వినిన దానినంత టిని బట్టి చూడగా నీవు తప్ప దేవుడెవడును లేడు.

22. Wherfore thou art great, O Lorde God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God besides thee, according to al that we haue heard with our eares.

23. నీకు జనులగుటకై వారిని నీవు విమోచించునట్లును, నీకు ఖ్యాతి కలుగునట్లును, నీ జనులనుబట్టి నీ దేశమునకు భీకరమైన మహాకార్యములను చేయునట్లును దేవుడవైన నీవు ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండియు, ఆ జనుల వశములోనుండియు, వారి దేవతల వశములో నుండియు నీవు విమోచించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనునట్టి నీ జనులవంటి జనము లోకమునందు మరి ఎక్కడనున్నది.

23. And what one people in the earth is lyke thy people, lyke Israel, whose God went and redeemed them to hym selfe, that they myght be his people, and that he myght make hym a name, and do for you great thynges and terrible for thy lande, O Lorde [euen] for thy people which thou redeemedst to thee out of Egypt [euen] from the nations and their gods.

24. మరియు యెహోవావైన నీవు వారికి దేవుడవైయుండి, వారు నిత్యము నీకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పేరుగల జనులై యుండునట్లుగా వారిని నిర్ధారణ చేసితివి.

24. For thou hast ordeyned thy people Israel to be thy people for euer, and thou Lorde art become their God.

25. దేవా యెహోవా, నీ దాసుడనగు నన్ను గూర్చియు నా కుటుంబ మునుగూర్చియు నీవు సెలవిచ్చినమాట యెన్నటికి నిలుచు నట్లు దృఢపరచి

25. And nowe Lorde God, the worde that thou hast spoken concernyng thy seruaunt and his house, make it good for euer, and do as thou hast saide:

26. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు దేవుడై యున్నాడను మాటచేత నీ నామమునకు శాశ్వత మహిమ కలుగునట్లును, నీ దాసుడనైన నా కుటుంబము నీ సన్నిధిని స్థిరపరచబడునట్లును నీవు సెలవిచ్చినమాట నెరవేర్చుము.

26. And let thy name be magnified for euer of men that shall say, The Lorde of hoastes is the God ouer Israel: and let the house of thy seruaunt Dauid be stablished before thee.

27. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవానీకు సంతానము కలుగజేయుదునని నీవు నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు తెలియపరచితివి గనుక ఈలాగున నీతో మనవి చేయుటకై నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు ధైర్యము కలిగెను.

27. For thou, O Lorde of hoastes, God of Israel, hast tolde in the eare of thy seruaunt, saying, I wyll buylde thee an house: And therefore hath thy seruaunt founde in his heart to pray this prayer vnto thee.

28. యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, మేలు దయచేయుదునని నీవు నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నావే; నీవు దేవుడవు గనుక నీ మాట సత్యము.

28. Therefore nowe Lorde God (thou art God, and thy wordes be true, thou that hast tolde this goodnes vnto thy seruaunt)

29. దయచేసి నీ దాసుడనైన నా కుటుంబము నిత్యము నీ సన్నిధిని ఉండునట్లుగా దానిని ఆశీర్వ దించుము; యెహోవా నా ప్రభువా, నీవు సెలవిచ్చి యున్నావు; నీ ఆశీర్వాదమునొంది నా కుటుంబము నిత్యము ఆశీర్వదింపబడును గాక.

29. Therefore nowe let it please thee to blesse the house of thy seruaunt, that it may continue for euer before thee: for thou Lorde God hast spoken it, and with thy blessyng let the house of thy seruaunt be blessed for euer.
