1. సిరియనులును ఇశ్రాయేలువారును మూడు సంవత్సర ములు ఒకరితో ఒకరు యుద్ధము జరిగింపక మానిరి.

1. And there passed ouer thre yeares, that there was no warre betwene the Sirians & Israel.

2. మూడవ సంవత్సరమందు యూదారాజైన యెహోషాపాతు బయలుదేరి ఇశ్రాయేలురాజునొద్దకు రాగా

2. But in the thirde yeare wente Iosaphat the kynge of Iuda downe to the kynge of Israel.

3. ఇశ్రాయేలురాజు తన సేవకులను పిలిపించిరామోత్గిలాదు మనదని మీరెరుగుదురు; అయితే మనము సిరియా రాజు చేతిలోనుండి దాని తీసికొనక ఊరకున్నామని చెప్పి

3. And the kynge of Israel sayde vnto his seruauntes: Knowe ye not yt Ramoth in Gilead is oures? and we syt styll, and take it not out of the hande of the kynge of Syria.

4. యుద్ధము చేయుటకు నాతోకూడ నీవు రామోత్గిలాదునకు వచ్చెదవా అని యెహోషాపాతును అడిగెను. అందుకు యెహోషాపాతునేను నీవాడనే; నా జనులు నీ జనులే నా గుఱ్ఱములును నీ గుఱ్ఱములే అని ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుతో చెప్పెను.

4. And he sayde vnto Iosaphat: Wilt thou go with me to the battaill vnto Ramoth in Gilead? Iosaphat sayde vnto the kynge of Israel: I wyll be as thou my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.

5. పిమ్మట యెహోషాపాతునేడు యెహోవా యొద్ద విచారణచేయుదము రండని ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుతో అనగా

5. And Iosaphat sayde vnto ye kynge of Israel: Axe this daye at the worde of the LORDE.

6. ఇశ్రాయేలురాజు దాదాపు నాలుగు వందలమంది ప్రవక్తలను పిలిపించియుద్ధము చేయుటకు రామోత్గిలాదుమీదికి పోదునా పోకుందునా అని వారి నడిగెను. అందుకుయెహోవా దానిని రాజైన నీ చేతికి అప్పగించును గనుక

6. Then the kynge of Israel gathered the prophetes aboute a foure hundreth men, and sayde vnto them: Shal I go vnto Ramoth in Gilead to fighte, or shal I let it alone? They sayde: Go vp, ye LORDE shal delyuer it in to ye kinges hande.

7. పొండని వారు చెప్పిరి గాని యెహోషాపాతువిచారణ చేయుటకై వీరు తప్పయెహోవా ప్రవక్తలలో ఒకడైనను ఇక్కడ లేడా అని అడిగెను.

7. But Iosaphat sayde: Is there not one prophet here more of ye LORDE, that we maye axe at him?

8. అందుకు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుఇవ్లూ కుమారుడైన మీకాయా అను ఒకడున్నాడు; అతనిద్వారా మనము యెహోవాయొద్ద విచారణ చేయవచ్చును గాని, అతడు నన్నుగూర్చి మేలు ప్రకటింపక కీడే ప్రకటించును గనుక అతనియందు నాకు ద్వేషము కలదని యెహోషాపాతుతో అనగా యెహోషాపాతురాజైన మీరు ఆలా గనవద్దనెను.

8. The kinge of Israel saide vnto Iosaphat Here is yet a man, one Micheas the sonne of Iemla, at whom we maye axe of the LORDE: but I hate him, for he prophecieth me no good, but euell. Iosaphat sayde: Let not the kynge saye so.

9. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజు తన పరివారములో ఒకనిని పిలిచిఇవ్లూ కుమారుడైన మీకాయాను శీఘ్రముగా ఇక్కడికి రప్పించుమని సెలవిచ్చెను.

9. Then called the kynge of Israel a chamberlayne, and sayde: Brynge hither soone Micheas the sonne of Iemla.

10. ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజును యూదారాజగు యెహోషాపాతును రాజవస్త్రములు ధరించుకొని, షోమ్రోను గవిని దగ్గరనున్న విశాల స్థలమందు గద్దెలమీద ఆసీనులై యుండి, ప్రవక్తలందరును వారి సమక్షమందు ప్రకటన చేయుచుండగా

10. As for the kynge of Israel and Iosaphat ye kinge of Iuda, they sat ether of them vpon his seate, arayed in their garmentes in the place at ye dore of the porte of Samaria, and all ye prophetes prophecied before the.

11. కెనయనా కుమారుడైన సిద్కియా యినుప కొమ్ములు చేయించుకొని వచ్చివీటిచేత నీవు సిరియనులను పొడిచి నాశనము చేతువని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడని చెప్పెను.

11. And Sedechias the sonne of Cnaena had made him hornes of yron, and sayde: Thus sayeth the LORDE: With these shalt thou pu?she at ye Syrians, tyll thou brynge them to naughte

12. ప్రవక్తలందరును ఆ చొప్పుననే ప్రకటన చేయుచుయెహోవా రామోత్గిలాదును రాజవైన నీ చేతికి అప్పగించును గనుక నీవు దానిమీదికి పోయి జయమొందుదువు అని చెప్పిరి.

12. And all the prophetes prophecied likewyse, and sayde: Go vp vnto Ramoth in Gilead, thou shalt prospere right well, & the LORDE shal delyuer it in to the kynges hande.

13. మీకాయాను పిలువబోయిన దూత ప్రవక్తలు ఏకముగా రాజుతో మంచి మాటలు పలుకుచున్నారు గనుక నీ మాట వారి మాటకు అనుకూలపరచుమని అతనితో అనగా

13. And the messaunger that wente to call Micheas sayde vnto him: Beholde, The wordes of ye prophetes are with one acorde good before the kynge, let thy worde therfore be as their worde, and speake thou good also.

14. మీకాయాయెహోవా నాకు సెల విచ్చునదేదో ఆయన జీవముతోడు నేను దానినే పలు కుదుననెను.

14. Micheas sayde: As truly as the LORDE liueth, loke what the LORDE sayeth vnto me, yt wyl I speake.

15. అతడు రాజునొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు రాజుమీకాయా, నీవేమందువు? యుద్ధము చేయుటకు మేము రామోత్గిలాదు మీదికి పోదుమా పోకుందుమా అని యడుగగా అతడుయెహోవా దానిని రాజవైన నీ చేతికి నప్ప గించును గనుక నీవు దానిమీదికిపోయి జయమొందుదువని రాజుతో అనెను.

15. And whan he came to the kynge, the kynge sayde vnto him: Micheas, shal we go vnto Ramoth in Gilead to fight or shall we let it alone? He sayde vnto him: Yee, go vp, thou shalt prospere righte well, the LORDE shall geue it in to the kynges hande.

16. అందుకు రాజునీచేత ప్రమాణము చేయించి యెహోవా నామమునుబట్టి నిజమైన మాటలే నీవు నాతో పలుకవలసినదని నేనెన్ని మారులు నీతో చెప్పితిని అని రాజు సెలవియ్యగా

16. But the kynge sayde vnto him agayne: I charge ye that thou saye no other thinge vnto me but the trueth, in the name of ye LORDE.

17. అతడుఇశ్రాయేలీయు లందరును కాపరిలేని గొఱ్ఱెలవలెనే కొండలమీద చెదరి యుండుట నేను చూచితిని వారికి యజమానుడు లేడు; ఎవరి యింటికి వారు సమాధానముగా వెళ్లవలసినదని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చెను అని చెప్పెను.

17. He sayde: I sawe all Israel scatred abrode vpon the mountaynes, as the shepe that haue no shepherde. And the LORDE saide: Haue these no lorde? Let euery one turne home agayne in peace.

18. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రా యేలురాజు యెహోషాపాతును చూచిఇతడు నన్ను గూర్చి మేలుపలుకక కీడే ప్రవచించునని నేను నీతో చెప్పలేదా అనగా

18. Then sayde ye kinge of Israel vnto Iosaphat: Tolde not I ye that he wolde prophecye me no good, but euell?

19. మీకాయా యిట్లనెనుయెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాట ఆలకించుము; యెహోవా సింహాసనాసీనుడై యుండగా పరలోకసైన్యమంతయు ఆయన కుడి పార్శ్వమునను ఎడమపార్శ్వమునను నిలిచి యుండుట నేను చూచితిని

19. He sayde: Heare now therfore the worde of the LORDE: I sawe the LORDE syt vpon his seate, and all the hoost of heauen stodinge by him at his righte hande & at his lefte.

20. అహాబు రామోత్గిలాదుమీదికి పోయి అక్కడ ఓడిపోవునట్లుగా ఎవడు అతనిని ప్రేరేపించునని యెహోవా సెలవియ్యగా, ఒకడు ఈ విధముగాను మరియొకడు ఆ విధముగాను యోచన చెప్పుచుండిరి.

20. And the LORDE saide: Who wil disceaue Achab to go vp, & fall at Ramoth in Gilead. And one sayde this, another that.

21. అంతలో ఒక ఆత్మ యెదుటికి వచ్చి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిలువబడినేను అతనిని ప్రేరేపించెదననగా యెహోవాఏ ప్రకారము నీవతని ప్రేరేపించుదువని అతని నడిగెను.

21. Then wete there forth a sprete, & stode before the LORDE, and sayde: I wyl disceaue him.

22. అందుకతడునేను బయలుదేరి అతని ప్రవక్తల నోట అబద్ధమాడు ఆత్మగా ఉందునని చెప్పగా ఆయననీవు అతని ప్రేరేపించి జయము నొందుదువు; పోయి ఆ ప్రకారము చేయుమని అతనికి సెలవిచ్చెను.

22. The LORDE sayde vnto him: Wherwith? He sayde vnto him: I wyll go forth, and be a false sprete in the mouth of all his prophetes. He saide: Thou shalt disceaue him, and shalt be able: go forth and do so.

23. యెహోవా నిన్నుగూర్చి కీడు యోచించి నీ ప్రవక్తల నోట అబద్ధమాడు ఆత్మను ఉంచియున్నాడు.

23. Beholde now, the LORDE hath geue a false sprete in ye mouth of all these yi prophetes, and the LORDE hath spoken euell ouer the.

24. మీకాయా యిట్లనగా, కెనయనా కుమారుడైన సిద్కియా అతని దగ్గరకు వచ్చినీతో మాటలాడుటకు యెహోవా ఆత్మ నాయొద్దనుండి ఏవైపుగా పోయెనని చెప్పి మీకాయాను చెంపమీద కొట్టెను.

24. Then stepte forth Sedechias the sonne of Cnaena, and smote Micheas vpon the cheke, and sayde: What, is the sprete of the LORDE departed fro me, to speake with the?

25. అందుకు మీకాయా దాగుకొనుటకై నీవు ఆ యా గదులలోనికి చొరబడు నాడు అది నీకు తెలియ వచ్చునని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

25. Micheas sayde: Beholde, thou shalt se it in yt daye, whan thou shalt go fro one chamber to another to hyde the.

26. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుమీకాయాను పట్టుకొని తీసికొని పోయి పట్టణపు అధికారియైన ఆమోనునకును రాజకుమారుడైన యోవాషు నకును అప్పగించి

26. The kynge of Israel sayde: Take Micheas, and let him remayne with Amon the ruler of the cite, and with Ioas the kynges sonne,

27. బందీగృహములో ఉంచి, మేము క్షేమముగా తిరిగివచ్చువరకు అతనికి కష్టమైన అన్నము నీళ్లు ఈయుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

27. and saye: Thus sayeth the kynge: Put this man in preson, and fede him with bred and water of trouble, tyll I come agayne in peace.

28. అప్పుడు మీకాయా ఈలాగు చెప్పెను సకలజనులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించు డని చెప్పెనురాజవైన నీవు ఏమాత్రమైనను క్షేమముగా తిరిగి వచ్చినయెడల యెహోవా నాచేత పలుకలేదు.

28. Micheas sayde: Yf thou commest agayne in peace, then hath not the LORDE spoken thorow me. And he sayde: herken to all ye people.

29. ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజును యూదారాజగు యెహోషా పాతును రామోత్గిలాదు మీదికి పోవుచుండగా

29. So the kynge of Israel and Iosaphat ye kynge of Iuda wente vp vnto Ramoth in Gilead.

30. ఇశ్రా యేలురాజునేను మారువేషము వేసికొని యుద్ధములో ప్రవేశించెదను, నీవైతే నీ వస్త్రములు ధరించుకొని ప్రవే శించుమని యెహోషాపాతుతో చెప్పి మారువేషము వేసికొని యుద్ధమందు ప్రవేశించెను.

30. And the kynge of Israel sayde vnto Iosaphat: Chaunge thy clothes, and come in to ye battayll in thine araie. The kinge of Israel chaunged his clothes also, and wete in to the battayll.

31. సరియారాజు తన రథ ములమీద అధికారులైన ముప్పది ఇద్దరు అధిపతులను పిలి పించి అల్పులతోనైనను ఘనులతోనైనను మీరు పోట్లాడవద్దు; ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుతో మాత్రమే పోట్లాడుడని ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియుండగా

31. But the kynge of Siria commaunded the rulers of his charettes (of whom there were two and thirtie) and saide: Ye shal fight nether agaynst small ner greate, but onely agaynst the kynge of Israel.

32. రథాధిపతులు యెహోషాపాతును చూచియితడే ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజనుకొని అతనితో పోట్లాడుటకు అతని మీదికి వచ్చిరి. యెహోషాపాతు కేకలువేయగా

32. And whan the rulers of the charettes sawe Iosaphat, they thought it had bene the kynge of Israel, and fell vpon him with fightinge. But Iosaphat cried.

33. రథాధిపతులు అతడు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజు కానట్టు గురుతుపట్టి అతని తరుముట మానివేసిరి.

33. So whan the rulers of the charettes sawe that it was not ye kinge of Israel, they turned back fro him.

34. పమ్మట ఒకడు తన విల్లు తీసి గురి చూడకయే విడువగా అది ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుకు కవచపుకీలు మధ్యను తగిలెను గనుక అతడునాకు గాయమైనది, రథము త్రిప్పి సైన్యములో నుండి నన్ను అవతలకు తీసికొని పొమ్మని తన సారధితో చెప్పెను.

34. A certayne man bended his bowe harde, and shott the kynge of Israel betwene the mawe and ye longes. And he sayde vnto his charetman: Turne thine hade, and cary me out of the hoost, for I am wounded.

35. నాడు యుద్ధము బలముగా జరుగుచున్నప్పుడు రాజును సిరియనుల యెదుట అతని రథముమీద నిలువ బెట్టిరి; అస్తమయమందు అతడు మరణమాయెను; తగిలిన గాయములోనుండి అతని రక్తము కారి రథములో మడుగు గట్టెను.

35. And ye battayll was sore the same daie. And the kinge stode vpo his charet, agaynst the Syrias and dyed in the eueninge, and the bloude ranne from the wounde in to the myddes of the charet.

36. సూర్యాస్తమయ సమయమందు దండువారందరు తమ తమ పట్టణములకును దేశములకును వెళ్లి పోవచ్చు నని ప్రచురమాయెను.

36. And whan the Sonne wente downe there was a proclamacion made in the hoost, and sayde: Euery one gett him in to his cite, and to his countre.

37. ఈ ప్రకారము రాజు మరణమై షోమ్రోనునకు కొనిపోబడి షోమ్రోనులో పాతిపెట్టబడెను.

37. Thus the kynge dyed, and was broughte vnto Samaria, and they buryed him in Samaria.

38. వేశ్యలు స్నానము చేయుచుండగా ఒకడు ఆ రథమును షోమ్రోను కొలనులో కడిగినప్పుడు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాటచొప్పున కుక్కలు వచ్చి అతని రక్తమును నాకెను.

38. And whan they wa?shed the charett in the pole of Samaria, ye dogges licked his bloude (but the harlottes wa?shed him) acordinge to the worde of ye LORDE which he spake.

39. అహాబు చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన దానంతటినిగూర్చియు, అతడు కట్టించిన దంతపు ఇంటినిగూర్చియు, అతడు కట్టించిన పట్టణములను గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథ మందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

39. What more there is to saye of Achab, & all yt he dyd, and of the Yuery house which he buylded, beholde, it is wrytten in the Cronicles of the kynges of Israel.

40. అహాబు తన పితరులతో కూడ నిద్రించగా అతని కుమారుడైన అహజ్యా అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

40. So Achab slepte with his fathers, and his sonne Ahasia was kynge in his steade.

41. ఆసా కుమారుడైన యెహోషాపాతు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన అహాబు ఏలుబడిలో నాలుగవ సంవత్సరమందు యూదాను ఏలనారంభించెను.

41. And Iosaphat the sonne of Asa was kynge ouer Iuda in the fourth yeare of Achab kynge of Israel,

42. యెహోషాపాతు ఏల నారంభించినప్పుడు అతడు ముప్పది యయిదేండ్లవాడై యెరూషలేములో యిరువది యైదేండ్లు ఏలెను; అతని తల్లి పేరు అజూబా, ఆమె షిల్హీకుమార్తెయై యుండెను.

42. and was fyue and thirtie yeare olde whan he was made kynge and raigned fyue and twentye yeare at Ierusale. His mothers name was Asuba ye doughter of Silhi,

43. అతడు తన తండ్రియైన ఆసాయొక్క మార్గములన్నిటి ననుసరించి, యెహోవా దృష్టికి అనుకూలముగా ప్రవర్తించుచు వచ్చెను. అయితే ఉన్నత స్థలములను తీసివేయలేదు; ఉన్నత స్థలములలో జనులు ఇంకను బలులు అర్పిం చుచు ధూపము వేయుచు నుండిరి.

43. and he walked in all the waye of his father Asa, & departed not there from And he dyd that which was right in ye sighte of the LORDE, yet put he not awaye ye hie places, and ye people offred and brent incese yet vpon the hye places,

44. యెహోషాపాతు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజుతో సంధిచేసెను.

44. and he had peace with the kynge of Israel.

45. యెహోషాపాతు చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు కనుపరచిన బలమునుగూర్చియు, అతడు యుద్థముచేసిన విధమును గూర్చియు యూదారాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

45. What more there is to saye of Iosaphat and the mighte that he exercised, and how he fought, beholde, it is wrytten in the Cronicles of the kynges of Iuda.

46. తన తండ్రియైన ఆసాదినములలో శేషించియుండిన పురుషగాములను అతడు దేశములోనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టెను.

46. He put out of the londe also the whoremongers that yet were lefte, which remayned ouer in the tyme of his father Asa.

47. ఆ కాలమందు ఎదోము దేశమునకు రాజు లేకపోయెను; ప్రధానియైన యొకడు రాజ్యపాలనము చేయుచుండెను.

47. And at that tyme there were no kynges in Edom.

48. యెహోషాపాతు బంగారము తెచ్చుటకై ఓఫీరుదేశమునకు పోవుటకు తర్షీషు ఓడలను కట్టింపగా ఆ ఓడలు బయలుదేరక ఎసోన్గెబెరునొద్ద బద్దలై పోయెను.

48. And Iosaphat had caused to make shippes vpon the See, which shulde go to fetch golde in Ophir, but they wente not: for they were broken at Ezeon Gaber.

49. అహాబు కుమారుడైన అహజ్యానా సేవకులను నీ సేవకులతో కూడ ఓడలమీద పోనిమ్మని యెహోషా పాతు నడుగగా యెహోషాపాతు దానికి ఒప్పలేదు.

49. At that tyme sayde Ahasia the sonne of Achab vnto Iosaphat: Let my seruauntes passe with thy seruauntes in the shippes. But Iosaphat wolde not.

50. పమ్మట యెహోషా పాతు తన పితరులతోకూడ నిద్రించి, తన పితరుడైన దావీదుపురమందు తన పితరులతోకూడ పాతిపెట్ట బడెను; అతని కుమారుడైన యెహోరాము అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

50. And Iosaphat slepte with his fathers, and was buried in ye cite of Dauid. And Ioram his sonne was kynge in his steade.

51. అహాబు కుమారుడైన అహజ్యా యూదారాజైన యెహోషాపాతు ఏలుబడిలో పదునేడవ సంవత్సరమందు షోమ్రోనులో ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏలనారంభించి రెండు సంవ త్సరములు ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏలెను.

51. Ahasia the sonne off Achab was kynge ouer Israel at Samaria in ye seuententh yeare of Iosaphat kige of Iuda, & reigned ouer Israel two yeares,

52. అతడు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించి, తన తలిదండ్రు లిద్దరి ప్రవర్త నను, ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడైన నెబాతు కుమారుడగు యరొబాము ప్రవర్తనను అనుసరించి ప్రవర్తించుచు వచ్చెను.

52. & dyd yt which was euell in ye sight of the LORDE, and walked in the waye of his father and of his mother, & in the waie of Ieroboam ye sonne of Nebat, which made Israel for to synne.

53. అతడు బయలు దేవతను పూజిం చుచు, వానికి నమస్కారము చేయుచు, తన తండ్రి చేసిన క్రియలన్నిటి చొప్పున జరిగించుచు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించెను.

53. And serued Baal, and worshipped him, and displeased the LORDE God of Israel, eue as his father dyd.
