1. ఇశ్రాయేలురాజైన యరొబాము ఏలుబడిలో ఇరువది మూడవ సంవత్సరమందు యూదారాజైన అమజ్యా కుమారుడైన అజర్యాయేలనారంభించెను.

1. In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, began Azariah son of Amaziah king of Judah to reign.

2. అతడు పదునా రేండ్లవాడై యేలనారంభించి యెరూషలేమునందు ఏబది రెండు సంవత్సరములు రాజుగా ఉండెను; అతని తల్లి యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థురాలైన యెకొల్యా.

2. Sixteen years old, was he when he began to reign, and, fifty-two years, reigned he in Jerusalem, and, the name of his mother, was Jecholiah, of Jerusalem.

3. ఇతడు తన తండ్రియైన అమజ్యా చర్య యంతటిప్రకారము యెహోవా దృష్టికి నీతిగలవాడై ప్రవర్తించెను.

3. And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that, Amaziah his father, had done.

4. ఉన్నత స్థలములను మాత్రము కొట్టి వేయలేదు; ఉన్నత స్థలముల యందు జనులు ఇంకను బలులు అర్పించుచు ధూపము వేయుచు ఉండిరి.

4. Only, the high places, took they not away, still were the people sacrificing and burning incense in the high places.

5. యెహోవా ఈ రాజును మొత్తినందున అతడు మరణమగువరకు కుష్ఠరోగియై ప్రత్యేక ముగా ఒక నగరులో నివసించెను గనుక రాజకుమారుడైన యోతాము నగరుమీద అధికారియై దేశపు జనులకు న్యాయము తీర్చువాడుగా ఉండెను.

5. And Yahweh smote the king, so that he became a leper, until the day of his death, and dwelt in a lazar-house, and, Jotham, son of the king, was over the house, judging the people of the land.

7. And Azariah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers, in the city of David, and, Jotham his son, reigned, in his stead.

8. యూదారాజైన అజర్యా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పది యెనిమిదవ సంవత్సరమందు యరొబాము కుమారుడైన జెకర్యా షోమ్రోనులో ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని ఆరునెలలు ఏలెను.

8. In the thirty-eighth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Zechariah son of Jeroboam to reign over Israel, in Samaria, and he reigned six months.

9. ఇతడు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక అనుసరించుచు, తన పితరులు చేసినట్లుగా తానును యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.

9. And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, as did his fathers, he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.

10. యాబేషు కుమారుడైన షల్లూము అతనిమీద కుట్రచేసి, జనులు చూచుచుండగా అతనిమీద పడి అతనిని చంపి అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

10. Then conspired against him, Shallum son of Jabesh, and smote him before the people, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

11. జెకర్యా చేసిన కార్యములనుగూర్చి ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

11. Now, the rest of the story of Zechariah, behold it! written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

12. నీ కుమారులు నాలుగవ తరమువరకు ఇశ్రాయేలు సింహాసనముమీద ఆసీనులై యుందురని యెహోవా యెహూతో సెలవిచ్చిన మాటచొప్పున ఇది జరిగెను.

12. That, was the word of Yahweh, which he spake unto Jehu, saying, Thy sons, to four generations, shall sit on the throne of Israel. And it was so!

13. యూదారాజైన ఉజ్జియా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పది తొమ్మిదవ సంవత్సరమందు యాబేషు కుమారుడైన షల్లూము ఏలనారంభించి షోమ్రోనులో నెల దినములు ఏలెను.

13. Shallum the son of Jabesh, began to reign, in the thirty-ninth year of Uzziah, king of Judah, for the space of a month in Samaria.

14. గాదీ కుమారుడైన మెనహేము తిర్సాలోనుండి బయలుదేరి షోమ్రోనునకు వచ్చి షోమ్రోనులోనుండు యాబేషు కుమారుడైన షల్లూముమీద పడి అతని చంపి అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

14. Then came up Menahem son of Gadi, from Tirzah, and entered Samaria, and smote Shallum son of Jabesh in Samaria, and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

15. షల్లూము చేసిన యితర కార్య ములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన కుట్రనుగూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయ బడియున్నది.

16. మెనహేము రాగా తిప్సహు పట్టణపు వారు తమ గుమ్మములు తీయలేదు గనుక అతడు వారినంద రిని హతము చేసి, తిర్సాను దాని చేరువ గ్రామములనన్నిటిని కొల్లపెట్టి అచ్చట గర్భిణులందరి గర్భములను చింపెను.

16. Then, Menahem smote Tiphsah, and all that were therein, and the boundaries thereof, from Tirzah, because they opened not, therefore he smote them, all the women therein that were with child, he ripped up.

17. యూదారాజైన అజర్యా యేలుబడిలో ముప్పదితొమ్మి దవ సంవత్సరమందు గాదీ కుమారుడైన మెనహేము ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని ఏలనారంభించి షోమ్రోనులో పది సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

17. In the thirty-ninth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Menahem son of Gadi to reign over Israel, ten years reigned he , in Samaria.

18. ఇతడును తన దినములన్నియు ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక యనుసరించుచు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.

18. And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit, all his days.

19. అష్షూరు రాజైన పూలు దేశముమీదికి రాగా, మెనహేము తనకు రాజ్యము స్థిరపరచునట్లుగా పూలుచేత సంధి చేయించుకొనవలెనని రెండు వేల మణుగుల వెండి పూలునకు ఇచ్చెను.

19. Pul the king of Assyria came against the land, so Menahem gave unto Pul, a thousand talents of silver, that his hands might be with him, to confirm the kingdom, in his hand.

20. మెనహేము ఇశ్రా యేలులో భాగ్యవంతులైన గొప్పవారిలో ప్రతి మనిషి యొద్దను ఏబదేసి తులముల వెండి వసూలుచేసి యీ ద్రవ్య మును అష్షూరు రాజునకిచ్చెను గనుక అష్షూరురాజు దేశ మును విడిచి వెళ్లిపోయెను.

20. And Menahem exacted the silver of Israel, of all the mighty men of wealth, to give to the king of Assyria, fifty shekels of silver, of each man, so the king of Assyria turned back, and stayed not there, in the land.

21. మెనహేము చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన దానినంతటిని గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడియున్నది.

22. And Menahem slept with his fathers, and, Pekahiah his son, reigned in his stead.

23. యూదారాజైన అజర్యా యేలుబడిలో ఏబదియవ సంవత్సరమందు మెనహేము కుమారుడైన పెకహ్యా షోమ్రోనులో ఇశ్రాయేలువారిని ఏలనారంభించి రెండు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను.

23. In the fiftieth year of Azariah king of Judah, began Pekahiah son of Menahem to reign over Israel, in Samaria, and he reigned two years.

24. ఇతడును ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక అనుసరించుచు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.

24. And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.

25. ఇతని క్రింద అధిపతియు రెమల్యా కుమారుడునైన పెకహు కుట్ర చేసి, తనయొద్దనున్న గిలాదీయులైన యేబది మందితోను, అర్గోబుతోను, అరీహేనుతోను కలిసికొని షోమ్రోనులోనున్న రాజనగరులోని అంతఃపురమందు అతనిని చంపి, పెకహ్యాకు మారుగా రాజాయెను.

25. And there conspired against him Pekah son of Remaliah, a hero of his, and smote him in Samaria, in the citadel of the house of a king, with Argob and with Arieh, and, with him, fifty men of the sons of the Gileadites, and he slew him, and reigned in his stead.

26. పెకహ్యా చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసినదాని నంత టినిగూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

27. యూదారాజైన అజర్యా యేలుబడిలో ఏబదిరెండవ సంవత్సరమందు రెమల్యా కుమారుడైన పెకహు షోమ్రో నులో ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏలనారంభించి యిరువది సంవత్సర ములు ఏలెను.

27. In the fifty-second year of Azariah king of Judah, began Pekah son of Remaliah to reign over Israel, in Samaria, and he reigned twenty years.

28. ఇతడును ఇశ్రాయేలువారు పాపము చేయుటకు కారకుడగు నెబాతు కుమారుడైన యరొబాము చేసిన పాపములను విడువక అనుసరించుచు యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడుతనము జరిగించెను.

28. And he did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, he turned not away from the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he caused, Israel, to commit.

29. ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన పెకహు దినములలో అష్షూరురాజైన తిగ్లత్పిలేసెరు వచ్చి ఈయోను పట్టణమును, ఆబేల్బేత్మయకా పట్టణమును, యానోయహు పట్టణమును, కెదెషు పట్టణమును, హాసోరు పట్టణమును, గిలాదు దేశమును, గలిలయ దేశమును, నఫ్తాలీ దేశమంతయును పట్టుకొని అచ్చట నున్నవారిని అష్షూరు దేశమునకు చెరగా తీసికొని పోయెను.

29. In the days of Pekah king of Israel, came Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, and took Ijon, and Abel-beth-maachah, and Janoah, and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Gilead, and Galilee, all the land of Naphtali and carried them away captive to Assyria.

30. అప్పుడు ఏలా కుమారుడైన హోషేయ ఇశ్రాయేలురాజును రెమల్యా కుమారుడునైన పెకహుమీద కుట్రచేసి, అతనిమీద పడి అతని చంపి, యూదా రాజైన ఉజ్జియా కుమారుడైన యోతాము ఏలుబడిలో ఇరువదియవ సంవత్సరమున అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

30. And Hoshea son of Elah made a conspiracy against Pekah, son of Remaliah, and smote him, and slew him, and reigned in his stead, in the twentieth year of Jotham, son of Uzziah.

31. పెకహు చేసిన యితర కార్యములనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసిన దానినంతటిని గూర్చియు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయ బడియున్నది.

32. In the second year of Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, began Jotham son of Uzziah king of Judah to reign.

33. అతడు ఇరువది యయిదేండ్లవాడై యెరూషలేమునందు రాజై పదునారు సంవత్సరములు ఏలెను. అతని తల్లి సాదోకు కుమార్తెయైన యెరూషా.

33. Twenty-five years old, was he, when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he, in Jerusalem, and, the name of his mother, was Jerusha, daughter of Zadok.

34. ఇతడు యెహోవా దృష్టికి నీతిగా ప్రవర్తించి తన తండ్రియైన ఉజ్జియా చర్యను పూర్తిగా అనుసరించెను.

34. And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that Uzziah his father had done.

35. అయినను ఉన్నత స్థల ములను కొట్టివేయకుండెను; జనులు ఉన్నత స్థలములందు ఇంకను బలుల నర్పించుచు ధూపము వేయుచునుండిరి. ఇతడు యెహోవా మందిరమునకున్న యెత్తయిన ద్వార మును కట్టించెను.

35. Only, the high places, took they not away, still were the people offering sacrifice and burning incense in the high places, he, built the upper gate of the house of Yahweh.

36. యోతాము చేసిన యితర కార్యము లనుగూర్చియు, అతడు చేసినదాని నంతటినిగూర్చియు యూదారాజుల వృత్తాంతముల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

37. ఆ దినములో యెహోవా సిరియారాజైన రెజీనును రెమల్యా కుమారుడైన పెకహును యూదా దేశముమీదికి పంపనారంభించెను.

37. In those days, began Yahweh to send against Judah, Rezin, king of Syria, and Pekah son of Remaliah.

38. యోతాము తన పిత రులతో కూడ నిద్రించి తన పితరుడైన దావీదు పురమందు తన పితరుల సమాధిలో పాతిపెట్టబడెను; అతని కుమారుడైన ఆహాజు అతనికి మారుగా రాజాయెను.

38. And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers, in the city of David his father, and, Ahaz his son, reigned, in his stead.
