1. దావీదు తన యింట నుండి ప్రవక్తయైన నాతానును పిలిపించినేను దేవదారు మ్రానులతో కట్టబడిన నగరులో నివాసము చేయుచున్నాను; యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసము తెరలచాటున నున్నదని చెప్పగా
అపో. కార్యములు 7:45-46

1. And it came to pass, when David had taken up his abode in his house, that David said unto Nathan the prophet, Lo! I, am dwelling in a house of cedars, but, the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, is under curtains.

2. నాతానుదేవుడు నీకు తోడైయున్నాడు, నీ హృదయమందున్న దంతయు చేయుమని దావీదుతో అనెను.

2. Then said Nathan unto David, All that is in thy heart, do, for, God, is with thee.

3. ఆ రాత్రియందు దేవునివాక్కు నాతానునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

3. But so it was that, in that night, the word of God came unto Nathan, saying:

4. నీవు పోయి నా సేవకుడైన దావీదుతో ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా నా నివాస మునకై యొక ఆలయము కట్టించుట నీచేతకాదు.

4. Go and say unto David my servant, Thus, saith Yahweh, Thou, shalt not build me a house, to dwell in;

5. ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను రప్పించిన నాటనుండి నేటివరకు నేను ఒక యింటిలో నివాసము చేయక, ఒకానొక గుడారములోను ఒకానొక డేరాలోను నివాసము చేసితిని.

5. seeing that I have not dwelt in a house, since the day that I brought up Israel, until this day, but have been from tent to tent, and without a habitation.

6. నేను ఇశ్రా యేలీయులందరి మధ్యను సంచరించిన కాలమంతయుమీరు నాకొరకు దేవదారుమ్రానులతో ఆలయము కట్ట కుంటిరేమియని, నా జనమును మేపవలసినదని నేను ఆజ్ఞా పించిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల న్యాయాధిపతులలో ఎవరితో నైనను నేనొక మాటయైన పలికియుంటినా?

6. Wheresoever I have wandered with all Israel, spake I ever, a word, with one of the judges of Israel, whom I charged to shepherd my people, saying, Wherefore have ye not built me a house of cedars?

7. కావున నీవు నా సేవకుడైన దావీదుతో చెప్పవలసినదేమనగాసైన్యములకు అధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈ ప్రకారము సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునీవు నా జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద అధిపతివై యుండునట్లు, గొఱ్ఱెలవెంబడి తిరుగుచున్న నిన్ను గొఱ్ఱెల దొడ్డినుండి తీసికొని

7. Now, therefore, thus, shalt thou say unto my servant David, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, I myself, took thee from the pasture, from after the flock, to become leader over my people Israel;

8. నీవువెళ్లిన చోట్లనెల్ల నీకు తోడుగా ఉండి, నిన్ను ద్వేషించినవారిని నీ ముందర నిలువనియ్యక నిర్మూలము చేసితిని; లోకములోని ఘనులకు కలిగియున్న పేరువంటి పేరు నీకు కలుగజేయుదును

8. and was with thee whithersoever thou didst go, and have out off all thine enemies, from before thee, and will make thee a name, like the name of the great ones, who are in the earth;

9. మరియు నేను నా జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కొరకు ఒక స్థలము ఏర్పరచి వారిని నాటుదును, వారు మరి తిరుగులాడక తమ స్థానమందు కాపురముందురు, పూర్వమందు జరిగినట్లును, నా జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద నేను న్యాయాధిపతులను నిర్ణయించిన కాలము మొదలుకొని జరుగుచు వచ్చినట్లును, దుష్టులు వారిని ఇక శ్రమ పెట్టకుందురు;

9. and will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall inhabit their place, and be unsettled no more, neither shall the sons of perversity again wear them out, as at the first;

10. నీ పగవారినందరిని నేను అణచి వేసెదను. అదియు గాకయెహోవా నీకు సంతతి కలుగజేయునని నేను నీకు తెలియజేసితిని.

10. even from the days when I put judges in charge over my people Israel, and have subdued all thine enemies, that I might make thee great, yea, a house, will Yahweh build for thee.

11. నీ జీవిత దినములు తీరి నీ పితరులయొద్దకు నీవు చేరునప్పుడు నీ కుమారులవలన కలుగు నీ సంతతిని నేను స్థాపనచేసి అతని రాజ్యమును స్థిరపరచెదను.

11. And it shall be that, when thy days are fulfilled, to sleep with thy fathers, then will I raise up thy seed after thee, who shall be of thy sons, and I will establish his kingdom.

12. అతడు నాకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించును, అతని సింహాసనమును నేను నిత్యస్థాపన చేసెదను.

12. He, shall build me a house, and I will establish his throne unto times age-abiding.

13. నేను అతనికి తండ్రినైయుందును, అతడు నాకు కుమారుడై యుండును; నీకంటె ముందుగా ఉన్నవానికి నా కృపను నేను చూపక మానినట్లు అతనికి నేను నా కృపను చూపక మానను.

13. I, will become his father, and, he, shall become my son, and, my lovingkindness, will I not cause to depart from him, as I caused it to depart from him who was before thee;

14. నా మందిరమందును నారాజ్యమందును నేను నిత్యము అతని స్థిరపరచెదను, అతని సింహాసనము ఎన్నటికిని స్థిరముగా నుండునని అతనికి తెలియజేయుము.

14. but I will cause him to remain over my house and over my kingdom, unto times age-abiding, and, his throne, shall be established, unto times age-abiding.

15. నాతాను తనకు ప్రత్యక్షమైనదానిబట్టి యీ మాట లన్నిటిని దావీదునకు తెలియజేయగా

15. According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so, spake Nathan unto David.

16. రాజైన దావీదు వచ్చి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కూర్చుండి ఈలాగు మనవి చేసెనుదేవా యెహోవా, నీవు నన్ను ఇంత హెచ్చు లోనికి తెచ్చుటకు నేను ఎంతటివాడను? నా యిల్లు ఏమాత్రపుది?

16. Then entered King David, and tarried before Yahweh, and said, Who am, I, O Yahweh God, and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto;

17. దేవా, యిది నీ దృష్టికి స్వల్పవిషయమే; దేవా యెహోవా, నీవు రాబోవు బహుకాలమువరకు నీ సేవకుని సంతతినిగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చి, మనుష్యునితో మను ష్యుడు మాటలాడునట్లు దయ పాలించి నాతో మాటలాడి, నా సంతతి ఘనతజెందునని మాట యిచ్చి యున్నావు.

17. and hast made this seem little in thine eyes, O God, in that thou hast spoken concerning the house of thy servant, for a great while to come? Thus wilt thou provide for me, according to the rank of manhood, and hast exalted me, O Yahweh God!

18. నీ దాసుడనగు నాకు కలుగబోవు ఘనతను గూర్చి దావీదను నీ దాసుడ నైన నేను నీతో మరి ఏమని మనవిచేసెదను? నీవు నీ దాసుని ఎరుగుదువు.

18. What, yet further, can David say unto thee, thus to honour thy servant, seeing that, thou thyself, knowest, thine own servant?

19. యెహోవా నీ దాసుని నిమి త్తమే నీ చిత్తప్రకారము ఈ మహా ఘనత కలుగునని నీవు తెలియజేసియున్నావు, అతని నిమిత్తమే నీవు ఈ గొప్ప కార్యమును చేసియున్నావు.

19. O Yahweh, for the sake of thy servant, and according to thine own heart, hast thou done all this great thing, making known all the great things.

20. యెహోవా, మేము మా చెవులతో వినినదంతయు నిజము, నీవంటి వాడెవడును లేడు, నీవుతప్ప మరి ఏ దేవుడును లేడు.

20. O Yahweh, there is none like unto thee, yea there is no God besides thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.

21. నీ జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులవంటి జనము భూలోకమందు ఏది? ఐగుప్తులోనుండి నీవు విమోచించిన నీ జనులయెదుట నిలువనీయక నీవు అనేక జనములను తోలివేసినందువలన నీవు మహా భయంకరమైన పేరు తెచ్చుకొంటివి. వారు నీ స్వంత జనులగునట్లు వారిని విమోచించుటకై దేవుడవైన నీవు బయలుదేరితివి

21. Who then is like thy people Israel, a nation alone in the earth, whom God went to redeem, to be his own people, to make for thyself a name for great and fearful things, to drive out, nations, from before thy people, whom thou didst redeem out of Egypt;

22. నీ జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు నిత్యము నీకు జనులగునట్లు నీ వాలాగున చేసితివి; యెహో వావైన నీవు వారికి దేవుడవై యున్నావు

22. and didst appoint thy people Israel for thyself as a people, unto times age-abiding, thou thyself, also, O Yahweh, becoming their God?

23. యెహోవా, ఇప్పుడు నీ దాసునిగూర్చియు అతని సంతతిని గూర్చియు నీవు సెలవిచ్చిన మాట నిత్యము స్థిరమగును గాక.

23. Now, therefore, O Yahweh, the word which thou hast spoken concerning thy servant, and concerning his house, be it steadfast unto times age-abiding, and do as thou hast spoken:

24. ఇశ్రా యేలీయుల దేవుడైన సైన్యములకు అధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు దేవుడైయున్నాడని నీ పేరు ఎన్నటికిని ఘనపరచబడునట్లు నీవు సెలవిచ్చిన మాట నిశ్చయముగా స్థిరపరచబడును గాక; మరియు నీ దాసుడైన దావీదు సంతతి నీ యెదుట స్థిరపరచబడునుగాక.

24. yea let it be steadfast, and so let thy Name be magnified unto times age-abiding, saying, Yahweh of hosts, the God of Israel, is a God to Israel! seeing that, the house of David thy servant, is established before thee.

25. దేవానీకు సంతతి కలుగజేసెదనని నీ దాసునికి నీవు తెలియ జేసియున్నావు గనుక నీ సన్నిధిని విన్నపము చేయుటకు నీ దాసునికి మనోధైర్యము కలిగెను.

25. For, thou, O my God, hast unveiled the ear of thy servant, that thou wilt build for him a house, for this cause, hath thy servant found it in his heart to pray before thee.

26. యెహోవా, నీవు దేవుడవైయుండి నీ దాసునికి ఈ మేలు దయచేసెదనని సెలవిచ్చియున్నావు.

26. Now, therefore, O Yahweh, thou, art God, therefore hast thou spoken concerning thy servant this goodness.

27. ఇప్పుడు నీ దాసుని సంతతి నిత్యము నీ సన్నిధిని ఉండునట్లుగా దానిని ఆశీర్వదింప ననుగ్రహించియున్నావు. యెహోవా, నీవు ఆశీర్వ దించినయెడల అది ఎన్నటికిని ఆశీర్వదింపబడి యుండును. ఇదియైన తరువాత దావీదు ఫిలిష్తీయులను జయించి,

27. Now, therefore, let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may be unto times age-abiding before thee, for, thou O Yahweh, hast blessed, and it is to be blessed unto times age-abiding.
