1. Moreover David and the captains of the host separated unto the ministry the sons of Asaph and of Heman and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of men that were [suitable] for the work of their [respective] ministry was,

2. ఆసాపు కుమారులలో రాజాజ్ఞ ప్రకారముగా ప్రకటించుచు, ఆసాపు చేతిక్రిందనుండు ఆసాపు కుమారులైన జక్కూరు యోసేపు నెతన్యా అషర్యేలా అనువారు.

2. of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the direction of Asaph, who prophesied at the hand of the king.

3. యెదూతూను సంబంధులలో స్తుతి పాటలు పాడుచు యెహోవాను స్తుతించుటకై సితారాను వాయించుచు ప్రకటించు తమ తండ్రియైన యెదూతూను చేతి క్రిందనుండు యెదూతూను కుమారులైన గెదల్యా జెరీ యెషయా హషబ్యా మత్తిత్యా అను ఆరుగురు.

3. Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

4. హేమాను సంబంధులలో హేమాను కుమారులైన బక్కీ యాహు మత్తన్యా ఉజ్జీయేలు షెబూయేలు యెరీమోతు హనన్యా హనానీ ఎలీయ్యాతా గిద్దల్తీ రోమమీ్తయెజెరు యొష్బెకాషా మల్లోతి హోతీరు మహజీయోతు అనువారు.

4. Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, [and] Mahazioth.

5. వీరందరును దేవుని వాక్కువిషయములో రాజునకు దీర్ఘదర్శియగు హేమానుయొక్క కుమారులు. హేమాను సంతతిని గొప్పచేయుటకై దేవుడు హేమానునకు పదునలుగురు కుమారులను ముగ్గురు కుమార్తెలను అను గ్రహించి యుండెను.

5. All these [were] the sons of Heman, the king's seer, in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6. వీరందరు ఆసాపునకును యెదూ తూనునకును హేమానునకును రాజు చేసియున్న కట్టడ ప్రకారము యెహోవా యింటిలో తాళములు స్వర మండలములు సితారాలు వాయించుచు గానము చేయుచు, తమ తండ్రి చేతిక్రింద దేవుని మందిరపు సేవ జరిగించు చుండిరి.

6. All these [were] under the direction of their father for song [in] the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the ministry of the house of God, under the hand of the king, of Asaph, of Jeduthun, and of Heman.

7. యెహోవాకు గానము చేయుటలో నేర్పు పొందిన తమ సహోదరులతో కూడనున్న ప్రవీణులైన పాటకుల లెక్క రెండువందల ఎనుబది యెనిమిది.

7. So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, [even] all that had understanding, was two hundred eighty-eight.

8. తాము చేయు సేవ విషయములో పిన్నయని పెద్దయని గురువని శిష్యుడని భేదము లేకుండ వంతులకొరకై చీట్లువేసిరి.

8. And they cast lots, ward against [ward], the small as well as the great, the one with understanding as well as the disciple.

9. మొదటి చీటి ఆసాపువంశమందున్న యోసేపు పేరట పడెను, రెండవది గెదల్యా పేరట పడెను, వీడును వీని సహోదరులును కుమారులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

9. Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons [were] twelve;

10. మూడవది జక్కూరు పేరట పడెను, వీడును వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

10. the third to Zaccur, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

11. నాలుగవది యిజ్రీ పేరట పడెను, వీడును వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

11. the fourth to Izri, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

12. అయిదవది నెతన్యా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

12. the fifth to Nethaniah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

13. ఆరవది బక్కీయాహు పేరటపడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

13. the sixth to Bukkiah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

14. ఏడవది యెషర్యేలా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెం డుగురు.

14. the seventh to Jesharelah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

15. ఎనిమిదవది యెషయా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

15. the eighth to Jeshaiah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

16. తొమ్మిదవది మత్తన్యా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

16. the ninth to Mattaniah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

17. పదియవది షిమీ పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

17. the tenth to Shimei, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

18. పదకొండవది అజరేలు పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

18. the eleventh to Azareel, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

19. పండ్రెండవది హషబ్యా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

19. the twelfth to Hashabiah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

20. పదుమూడవది షూబాయేలు పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

20. the thirteenth to Shubael, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

21. పదునాలుగవది మత్తిత్యా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

21. the fourteenth to Mattithiah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

22. పదునయిదవది యెరేమోతు పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

22. the fifteenth to Jeremoth, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

23. పదునారవది హనన్యా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

23. the sixteenth to Hananiah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

24. పదునేడవది యొష్బెకాషా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

24. the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

25. పదునెనిమిదవది హనానీపేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

25. the eighteenth to Hanani, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

26. పందొమ్మిదవది మల్లోతి పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెం డుగురు.

26. the nineteenth to Mallothi, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve:

27. ఇరువదియవది ఎలీయ్యాతా పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

27. the twentieth to Eliathah, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

28. the twenty-first to Hothir, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

29. ఇరువది రెండవది గిద్దల్తీ పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండు గురు.

29. the twenty-second to Giddalti, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

30. ఇరువది మూడవది మహజీయోతు పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

30. the twenty-third to Mahazioth, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve;

31. ఇరువది నాలుగవది రోమమీ్తయెజెరు పేరట పడెను, వీని కుమారులును సహోదరులును పండ్రెండుగురు.

31. the twenty-fourth to Romamtiezer, [he], his sons, and his brethren [were] twelve.:
