2. మెషెలెమ్యా కుమారులు ఎవరనగా జెకర్యా జ్యేష్ఠుడు, యెదీయవేలు రెండవవాడు, జెబద్యా మూడవవాడు, యత్నీయేలు నాల్గవవాడు,

2. Meshelemiah's sons: The firstborn Zechariah, the second Jediael, the third Zebadiah, the fourth Jathniel,

8. All these were the descendants of Obed-Edom. They and their sons and relatives were respected men, capable of doing their responsibilities. There were sixty-two of them related to Obed-Edom.

9. Meshelemiah had sons and relatives who were respected eighteen in all.

10. మెరారీయులలో హోసా అనువానికి కలిగిన కుమారులు ఎవరనగా జ్యేష్ఠుడగు షిమీ; వీడు జ్యేష్ఠుడు కాకపోయినను వాని తండ్రి వాని జ్యేష్ఠ భాగస్థునిగా చేసెను,

10. Hosah, one of the descendants of Merari, had sons: The firstborn Shimri (he was not actually the firstborn, but his father gave him that status),

11. రెండవవాడగు హిల్కీయా, మూడవవాడగు టెబల్యాహు, నాల్గవవాడగు జెకర్యా, హోసా కుమారులును సహోదరులును అందరు కలిసి పదుముగ్గురు.

11. the second Hilkiah, the third Tebaliah, and the fourth Zechariah. All of Hosah's sons and relatives numbered thirteen.

12. ఈలాగున ఏర్పాటైన తరగతులనుబట్టి యెహోవా మందిరములో వంతుల ప్రకారముగా తమసహోదరులు చేయునట్లు సేవచేయుటకు ఈ ద్వారపాలకులు, అనగా వారిలోని పెద్దలు జవాబుదారులుగా నియ మింపబడిరి.

12. These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their leaders, had assigned responsibilities, like their relatives, as they served in the LORD's temple.

13. చిన్నలకేమి పెద్దలకేమి పితరుల యింటి వరుసనుబట్టి యొక్కొక్క ద్వారము నొద్ద కావలియుండుటకై వారు చీట్లువేసిరి.

13. They cast lots, both young and old, according to their families, to determine which gate they would be responsible for.

14. తూర్పుతట్టు కావలి షెలెమ్యాకు పడెను, వివేకముగల ఆలోచన కర్తయైన అతని కుమారుడగు జెకర్యాకు చీటివేయగా, ఉత్తరపుతట్టు కావలి వానికి పడెను,

14. The lot for the east gate went to Shelemiah. They then cast lots for his son Zechariah, a wise adviser, and the lot for the north gate went to him.

15. ఓబేదెదోమునకు దక్షిణపువైపు కావలియు అతని కుమారులకు అసుప్పీమను ఇంటికావలియు పడెను.

15. Obed-Edom was assigned the south gate, and his sons were assigned the storehouses.

16. షుప్పీమునకును హోసాకును పడమటి తట్టున నున్న షల్లెకెతు గుమ్మమునకు ఎక్కు రాజమార్గమును కాచు టకు చీటి పడెను.

16. Shuppim and Hosah were assigned the west gate, along with the Shalleketh gate on the upper road. One guard was adjacent to another.

17. తూర్పున లేవీయులైన ఆరుగురును, ఉత్తరమున దినమునకు నలుగురును, దక్షిణమున దినమునకు నలుగురును, అసుప్పీము నొద్ద ఇద్దరిద్దరును,

17. Each day there were six Levites posted on the east, four on the north, and four on the south. At the storehouses they were posted in pairs.

18. బయట ద్వారమునొద్దను పడమరగా ఎక్కిపోవు రాజమార్గము నొద్దను నలుగురును, వెలుపటి త్రోవయందు ఇద్దరును ఏర్పాటైరి.

18. At the court on the west there were four posted on the road and two at the court.

19. కోరే సంతతివారిలోను మెరారీయులలోను ద్వారము కనిపెట్టువారికి ఈలాగు వంతులాయెను.

19. These were the divisions of the gatekeepers who were descendants of Korah and Merari.

20. కడకు లేవీయులలో అహీయా అనువాడు దేవుని మందిరపు బొక్కసమును ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువుల బొక్కసములను కాచువాడుగా నియమింపబడెను.

20. Their fellow Levites were in charge of the storehouses in God's temple and the storehouses containing consecrated items.

21. లద్దాను కుమారులను గూర్చినదిగెర్షోనీయుడైన లద్దాను కుమారులు, అనగా గెర్షోనీయులై తమ పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలైయున్నవారిని గూర్చినది.

21. The descendants of Ladan, who were descended from Gershon through Ladan and were leaders of the families of Ladan the Gershonite, included Jehieli

22. యెహీయేలీ కుమారులైన జేతామును వాని సహోదరుడైన యోవేలును యెహోవా మందిరపు బొక్కసములకు కావలికాయువారు.

22. and the sons of Jehieli, Zetham and his brother Joel. They were in charge of the storehouses in the LORD's temple.

23. అమ్రామీయులు ఇస్హారీయులు హెబ్రోనీయులు ఉజ్జీయేలీయులు అనువారిని గూర్చినది.

23. As for the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites:

24. మోషే కుమారుడైన గెర్షోమునకు పుట్టిన షెబూయేలు బొక్కసముమీద ప్రధానిగా నియమింపబడెను.

24. Shebuel son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was the supervisor of the storehouses.

25. ఎలీయెజెరు సంతతివారగు షెబూయేలు సహోదరులు ఎవరనగా వాని కుమారుడైన రెహబ్యా, రెహబ్యా కుమారుడైన యెషయా, యెషయా కుమారుడైన యెహోరాము, యెహోరాము కుమారుడైన జిఖ్రీ, జిఖ్రీ కుమారుడైన షెలోమీతు.

25. His relatives through Eliezer included: Rehabiah his son, Jeshaiah his son, Joram his son, Zikri his son, and Shelomith his son.

26. యెహోవా మందిరము ఘనముగా కట్టించుటకై రాజైన దావీదును పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలును సహస్రాధిపతులును శతాధిపతులును సైన్యాధిపతులును

26. Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of all the storehouses containing the consecrated items dedicated by King David, the family leaders who led units of a thousand and a hundred, and the army officers.

27. యుద్ధములలో పట్టుకొని ప్రతిష్ఠించిన కొల్లసొమ్ము ఉన్న బొక్కసములకు షెలోమీతును వాని సహోదరులును కావలి కాయువారైరి.

27. They had dedicated some of the plunder taken in battles to be used for repairs on the LORD's temple.

28. దీర్ఘదర్శి సమూయేలును కీషు కుమారుడైన సౌలును నేరు కుమారుడైన అబ్నేరును సెరూయా కుమారుడైన యోవాబును ప్రతిష్ఠించిన సొమ్మంతయు షెలోమీతు చేతిక్రిందను వాని సహోదరుల చేతిక్రిందను ఉంచబడెను.

28. They were also in charge of everything dedicated by Samuel the prophet, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah; Shelomith and his relatives were in charge of everything that had been dedicated.

29. ఇస్హారీయులనుగూర్చినదివారిలో కెన న్యాయును వాని కుమారులును బయటిపని జరిగించుటకై ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు లేఖికులుగాను న్యాయాధిపతులుగాను నియమింపబడిరి.

29. As for the Izharites: Kenaniah and his sons were given responsibilities outside the temple as officers and judges over Israel.

30. హెబ్రోనీయులను గూర్చినది. హషబ్యాయును వాని సహోదరులును పరాక్రమ శాలులును వేయిన్ని యేడు వందల సంఖ్యగలవారు, వీరు యొర్దాను ఈవల పడమటి వైపుననుండు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద యెహోవా సేవను గూర్చిన వాటన్నిటి విషయములోను రాజు నియమించిన పనివిషయములోను పైవిచారణకర్తలుగా నియమింపబడిరి.

30. As for the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 respected men, were assigned responsibilities in Israel west of the Jordan; they did the LORD's work and the king's service.

31. హెబ్రోనీయులను గూర్చి నది. హెబ్రోనీయుల పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలందరికి యెరీయా పెద్దయాయెను. దావీదు ఏలుబడిలో నలువదియవ సంవత్సరమున వారి సంగతి విచారింపగా వారిలో గిలాదు దేశములోని యాజేరునందున్న వారు పరాక్రమ శాలులుగా కనబడిరి.

31. As for the Hebronites: Jeriah was the leader of the Hebronites according to the genealogical records. In the fortieth year of David's reign, they examined the records and discovered there were highly respected men in Jazer in Gilead.

32. పరాక్రమశాలులగు వాని సహోదరులు రెండువేల ఏడువందలమంది యింటి పెద్దలుగా కనబడిరి, దావీదు రాజు దేవుని సంబంధమైన కార్యముల విషయములోను రాజకార్యముల విషయములోను రూబే నీయుల మీదను గాదీయులమీదను మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపు వారి మీదను వారిని నియమించెను.

32. Jeriah had 2,700 relatives who were respected family leaders. King David placed them in charge of the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh; they took care of all matters pertaining to God and the king.
