1. రువాత రాజైన దావీదు సర్వసమాజముతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనుదేవుడు కోరుకొనిన నా కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను ఇంకను లేతప్రాయముగల బాలుడై యున్నాడు, కట్టబోవు ఆలయము మనుష్యునికి కాదు దేవుడైన యెహోవాకే గనుక ఈ పని బహు గొప్పది.

1. Then David the king addressed the congregation: 'My son Solomon was singled out and chosen by God to do this. But he's young and untested and the work is huge--this is not just a place for people to meet each other, but a house for GOD to meet us.

2. నేను బహుగా ప్రయాసపడి నా దేవుని మందిరమునకు కావలసిన బంగారపు పనికి బంగారమును, వెండిపనికి వెండిని, యిత్తడిపనికి ఇత్తడిని, యినుపపనికి ఇనుమును, కఱ్ఱపనికి కఱ్ఱలను, గోమేధికపురాళ్లను, చెక్కుడురాళ్లను, వింతైన వర్ణములుగల పలువిధములరాళ్లను, మిక్కిలి వెలగల నానావిధరత్నములను తెల్లచలువరాయి విశేషముగా సంపాదించితిని.

2. I've done my best to get everything together for building this house for my God, all the materials necessary: gold, silver, bronze, iron, lumber, precious and varicolored stones, and building stones--vast stockpiles.

3. Furthermore, because my heart is in this, in addition to and beyond what I have gathered, I'm turning over my personal fortune of gold and silver for making this place of worship for my God:

4. 3,000 talents (about 113 tons) of gold--all from Ophir, the best--and 7,000 talents (214 tons) of silver for covering the walls of the buildings,

5. and for the gold and silver work by craftsmen and artisans. 'And now, how about you? Who among you is ready and willing to join in the giving?'

6. అప్పుడు పితరుల యిండ్లకు అధిపతులును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రపు అధి పతులును సహస్రాధిపతులును శతాధిపతులును రాజు పనిమీద నియమింపబడిన అధిపతులును కలసి

6. Ready and willing, the heads of families, leaders of the tribes of Israel, commanders and captains in the army, stewards of the king's affairs, stepped forward and gave willingly.

7. మనఃపూర్వకముగా దేవుని మందిరపుపనికి పదివేల మణుగుల బంగారమును ఇరువదివేల మణుగుల బంగారపు ద్రాములను ఇరువదివేల మణుగుల వెండిని ముప్పదియారువేల మణుగుల యిత్తడిని రెండులక్షల మణుగుల యినుమును ఇచ్చిరి.

7. They gave 5,000 talents (188 tons) and 10,000 darics (185 pounds) of gold, 10,000 talents of silver (377 tons), 18,000 talents of bronze (679 tons), and 100,000 talents (3,775 tons) of iron.

8. తమయొద్ద రత్నములున్నవారు వాటిని తెచ్చి యెహోవామందిరపు బొక్కసముమీదనున్న గెర్షోనీయుడైన యెహీయేలునకు ఇచ్చిరి.

8. Anyone who had precious jewels put them in the treasury for the building of The Temple of GOD in the custody of Jehiel the Gershonite.

9. వారు పూర్ణమనస్సుతో యెహోవాకు ఇచ్చియుండిరి గనుక వారు ఆలాగు మనః పూర్వకముగా ఇచ్చినందుకు జనులు సంతోషపడిరి.

9. And the people were full of a sense of celebration--all that giving! And all given willingly, freely! King David was exuberant.

10. రాజైన దావీదుకూడను బహుగా సంతోషపడి, సమాజము పూర్ణముగా ఉండగా యెహోవాకు ఇట్లు స్తోత్రములు చెల్లించెనుమాకు తండ్రిగానున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా యెహోవా, నిరంతరము నీవు స్తోత్రార్హుడవు.

10. David blessed GOD in full view of the entire congregation: Blessed are you, GOD of Israel, our father from of old and forever.

11. యెహోవా, భూమ్యాకాశములయందుండు సమస్తమును నీ వశము; మహాత్మ్యమును పరాక్రమమును ప్రభావమును తేజస్సును ఘనతయు నీకే చెందుచున్నవి; యెహోవా, రాజ్యము నీది, నీవు అందరిమీదను నిన్ను అధిపతిగా హెచ్చించుకొని యున్నావు.

11. To you, O GOD, belong the greatness and the might, the glory, the victory, the majesty, the splendor; Yes! Everything in heaven, everything on earth; the kingdom all yours! You've raised yourself high over all.

12. ఐశ్వర్యమును గొప్పతనమును నీవలన కలుగును, నీవు సమస్తమును ఏలువాడవు, బలమును పరాక్రమమును నీ దానములు, హెచ్చించు వాడవును అందరికి బలము ఇచ్చువాడవును నీవే.

12. Riches and glory come from you, you're ruler over all; You hold strength and power in the palm of your hand to build up and strengthen all.

13. మా దేవా, మేము నీకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించుచున్నాము, ప్రభావముగల నీ నామమును కొనియాడుచున్నాము.

13. And here we are, O God, our God, giving thanks to you, praising your splendid Name.

14. ఈ ప్రకారము మనఃపూర్వకముగా ఇచ్చు సామర్థ్యము మాకుండుటకు నేనెంత మాత్రపువాడను? నా జనులెంత మాత్రపువారు? సమస్తమును నీవలననే కలిగెను గదా? నీ స్వసంపాద్యములో కొంత మేము నీకిచ్చియున్నాము.

14. 'But me--who am I, and who are these my people, that we should presume to be giving something to you? Everything comes from you; all we're doing is giving back what we've been given from your generous hand.

15. మా పితరులందరివలెనే మేమును నీ సన్నిధిని అతిథులమును పరదేశులమునై యున్నాము, మా భూనివాసకాలము నీడ యంత అస్థిరము, స్థిరముగా ఉన్నవాడొకడును లేడు

15. As far as you're concerned, we're homeless, shiftless wanderers like our ancestors, our lives mere shadows, hardly anything to us.

16. మా దేవా యెహోవా, నీ పరిశుద్ధ నామముయొక్క ఘనతకొరకు మందిరమును కట్టించుటకై మేము సమకూర్చిన యీ వస్తుసముదాయమును నీవలన కలిగినదే, అంతయు నీదియై యున్నది.

16. GOD, our God, all these materials--these piles of stuff for building a house of worship for you, honoring your Holy Name--it all came from you! It was all yours in the first place!

17. నా దేవా, నీవు హృదయ పరిశోధనచేయుచు యథార్థవంతులయందు ఇష్టపడుచున్నావని నేనెరుగుదును; నేనైతే యథార్థహృదయము గలవాడనై యివి యన్నియు మనఃపూర్వకముగా ఇచ్చి యున్నాను; ఇప్పుడు ఇక్కడనుండు నీ జనులును నీకు మనఃపూర్వకముగా ఇచ్చుట చూచి సంతోషించుచున్నాను.

17. I know, dear God, that you care nothing for the surface--you want us, our true selves--and so I have given from the heart, honestly and happily. And now see all these people doing the same, giving freely, willingly--what a joy!

18. అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు ఇశ్రాయేలు అను మా పితరుల దేవా యెహోవా, నీ జనులు హృదయ పూర్వకముగా సంకల్పించిన యీ ఉద్దేశమును నిత్యము కాపాడుము; వారి హృదయమును నీకు అనుకూలపరచుము.

18. O GOD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, keep this generous spirit alive forever in these people always, keep their hearts set firmly in you.

19. నా కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను నీ యాజ్ఞలను నీ శాసనములను నీ కట్టడలను గైకొనుచు వాటినన్నిటిని అనుసరించునట్లును నేను కట్టదలచిన యీ ఆలయమును కట్టించునట్లును అతనికి నిర్దోషమైన హృదయము దయ చేయుము.

19. And give my son Solomon an uncluttered and focused heart so that he can obey what you command, live by your directions and counsel, and carry through with building The Temple for which I have provided.'

20. ఈలాగు పలికిన తరువాత దావీదుఇప్పుడు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను స్తుతించుడని సమాజకులందరితో చెప్పగా, వారందరును తమ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాను స్తుతించి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని రాజు ముందరను తలవంచి నమస్కారము చేసిరి.

20. David then addressed the congregation: 'Bless GOD, your God!' And they did it, blessed GOD, the God of their ancestors, and worshiped reverently in the presence of GOD and the king.

21. తరువాత వారు యెహోవాకు బలులు అర్పించిరి. మరునాడు దహన బలిగా వెయ్యి యెద్దులను వెయ్యి గొఱ్ఱె పొట్టేళ్లను వెయ్యి గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను వాటి పానార్పణలతో కూడ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరి సంఖ్యకు తగునట్టుగా అర్పించిరి.

21. The very next day they butchered the sacrificial animals and offered in the worship of Israel to GOD a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand sheep, and in addition drink offerings and many other sacrifices.

22. ఆ దినమున వారు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని బహు సంతోషముతో అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనిరి. దావీదు కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనునకు రెండవసారి పట్టాభిషేకముచేసి, యెహోవా సన్నిధిని అతని అధిపతిగాను సాదోకును యాజకునిగాను అభిషేకించిరి.

22. They feasted all day, eating and drinking before GOD, exuberant with joy. Then they ceremonially reenacted Solomon's coronation, anointing David's son before GOD as their leader, and Zadok as priest.

23. అప్పుడు సొలొమోను తన తండ్రియైన దావీదునకు మారుగా యెహోవా సింహా సనమందు రాజుగా కూర్చుండి వర్ధిల్లుచుండెను. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును అతని యాజ్ఞకు బద్ధులై యుండిరి.

23. Solomon sat on the throne of GOD as king in place of David his father. And everything went well; all Israel obeyed him.

24. అధిపతులందరును యోధులందరును రాజైన దావీదు కుమారులందరును రాజైన సొలొమోనునకు లోబడిరి.

24. All the leaders of the people, including all the sons of King David, accepted Solomon as their king and promised their loyalty.

25. యెహోవా సొలొమోనును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరి యెదు టను బహుగా ఘనపరచి, అతనికి ముందుగా ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులను ఏలిన యే రాజునకైనను కలుగని రాజ్యప్రభావమును అతని కనుగ్రహించెను.

25. Solomon rode high on a crest of popular acclaim--it was all GOD's doing. GOD gave him position and honor beyond any king in Israel before him.

26. యెష్షయి కుమారుడైన దావీదు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరి మీద రాజైయుండెను.

26. David son of Jesse ruled over all Israel.

27. అతడు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను ఏలిన కాలము నలువది సంవత్సరములు; హెబ్రోనులో ఏడు సంవత్సరములును, యెరూషలేములో ముప్పది మూడు సంవత్సరములును అతడు ఏలెను.

27. He was king for forty years. He ruled from Hebron seven years and from Jerusalem thirty-three.

28. He died at a ripe old age, full of days, wealth, and glory. His son Solomon ruled after him.

29. The history of David the king, from start to finish, is written in the chronicles of Samuel the seer, Nathan the prophet, and Gad the seer,

30. దీర్ఘదర్శి సమూయేలు మాటలనుబట్టియు, ప్రవక్తయగు నాతాను మాటలను బట్టియు, దీర్ఘదర్శి గాదు మాటలనుబట్టియు వ్రాయబడి యున్నది.

30. including a full account of his rule, his exploits, and the times through which he and Israel and the surrounding kingdoms passed.
