1. యూదా కుమారులెవరనగా పెరెసు హెష్రోను కర్మీ హూరు శోబాలు.

1. The sons of Judah; Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.

2. శోబాలు కుమారుడైన రెవాయా యహతును కనెను, యహతు అహూమైని లహదును కనెను, ఇవి సొరాతీయుల వంశములు.

2. And Reaiah the son of Shobal begat Jahath; and Jahath begat Ahumai, and Lahad. These {are} the families of the Zorathites.

3. అబీయేతాము సంతతివా రెవరనగా యెజ్రెయేలు ఇష్మా ఇద్బాషు వీరి సహోదరి పేరు హజ్జెలెల్పోని.

3. And these {were of} the father of Etam; Jezreel, and Ishma, and Idbash: and the name of their sister {was} Hazelelponi:

4. మరియు గెదోరీయులకు పితరుడగు పెనూయేలును హూషాయీయులకు పితరుడగు ఏజెరును, వీరు బేత్లెహేమునకు తండ్రియైన ఎఫ్రాతాకు జ్యేష్ఠుడగు హూరునకు కుమారులు.

4. And Penuel the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah. These {are} the sons of Hur, the first-born of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.

5. And Ashur the father of Tekoa had two wives, Helah and Naarah.

6. నయరా అతనికి అహుజామును హెపెరును తేమనీని హాయ హష్తారీని కనెను. వీరు నయరాకు పుట్టిన కుమా రులు.

6. And Naarah bore him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni, and Haahashtari. These {were} the sons of Naarah.

7. హెలా కుమారు లెవరనగా జెరెతు సోహరు ఎత్నాను.

7. And the sons of Helah {were}, Zereth, and Jezoar, and Ethnan.

8. కోజు ఆనూబును జోబేబాను హారుము కుమారుడైన అహర్హేలుయొక్క వంశములను కనెను.

8. And Coz begat Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the son of Harum.

9. యబ్బేజు తన సహోదరులకంటె ఘనము పొందినవాడై యుండెను వేదనపడి యితని కంటినని అతని తల్లి అతనికి యబ్బేజు అని పేరుపెట్టెను.

9. And Jabez was more honorable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bore him with sorrow.

10. యబ్బేజు ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల దేవునిగూర్చి మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినీవు నన్ను నిశ్చయముగా ఆశీర్వదించి నా సరిహద్దును విశాల పరచి నీ చెయ్యి నాకు తోడుగా ఉండ దయచేసి నాకు కీడురాకుండ దానిలోనుండి నన్ను తప్పించుము అని ప్రార్థింపగా దేవుడు అతడు మనవిచేసిన దానిని అతనికి దయచేసెను.

10. And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldst bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that thy hand might be with me, and that thou wouldst keep {me} from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

11. షూవహు సహోదరుడైన కెలూబు ఎష్తోనునకు తండ్రియైన మెహీరును కనెను.

11. And Chelub the brother of Shuah begat Mehir, who {was} the father of Eshton.

12. ఎష్తోను బేత్రాఫాను పాసెయను ఈర్నాహాషునకు తండ్రియైన తెహిన్నాను కనెను, వీరు రేకావారు.

12. And Eshton begat Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of Ir-nahash. These {are} the men of Rechah.

13. కనజు కుమారులు ఒత్నీయేలు శెరాయా; ఒత్నీయేలు కుమారులలో హతతు అను ఒక డుండెను.

13. And the sons of Kenaz; Othniel, and Seraiah: and the sons of Othniel; Hathath.

14. మెయానొతై ఒఫ్రాను కనెను, శెరాయా పనివారి లోయలో నివసించువారికి తండ్రియైన యోవా బును కనెను, ఆ లోయలోనివారు పనివారై యుండిరి.

14. And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were artificers.

15. యెఫున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబు కుమారులు ఈరూ ఏలా నయము; ఏలా కుమారులలో కనజు అను ఒకడుండెను.

15. And the sons of Caleb the son of Jephunneh; Iru, Elah, and Naam: and the sons of Elah, even Kenaz.

16. యెహల్లెలేలు కుమారులు జీఫు జీఫా తీర్యా అశర్యేలు.

16. And the sons of Jehaleleel; Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.

17. ఎజ్రా కుమారులు యెతెరు మెరెదు ఏఫెరు యాలోను; మెరెదు భార్య మిర్యామును షమ్మయిని ఎష్టెమోను వారికి పెద్దయయిన ఇష్బాహును కనెను.

17. And the sons of Ezra {were}, Jethur, and Mered, and Epher, and Jalon: and she bore Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.

18. అతని భార్యయైన యెహూదీయా గెదోరునకు ప్రధానియైన యెరె దును శోకోకు ప్రధానియైన హెబెరును జానోహకు ప్రధానియైన యెకూతీయేలును కనెను. మెరెదు వివాహము చేసికొనిన ఫరో కుమార్తెయైన బిత్యాకు పుట్టిన కుమారులు వీరే.

18. And his wife Jehudijah bore Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these {are} the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh whom Mered took.

19. మరియు నహము సహోదరియైన హూదీయా భార్యయొక్క కుమారులెవరనగా గర్మీయు డైన కెయీలా మాయకాతీయుడైన ఎష్టెమో.

19. And the sons of {his} wife Hodiah the sister of Naham, the father of Keilah the Garmite, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.

20. షీమోను కుమారులు అమ్నోను రిన్నా బెన్హానాను తీలోను. ఇషీ కుమారులు జోహేతు బెన్జోహేతు.

20. And the sons of Shimon {were}, Amnon, and Rinnah, Ben-hanan, and Tilon. And the sons of Ishi {were}, Zoheth, and Benzoheth.

21. యూదా కుమారుడైన షేలహు కుమారులెవరనగా లేకాకు ప్రధానియైన ఏరు మారేషాకు ప్రధానియైన లద్దాయు; సన్నపు వస్త్రములు నేయు అష్బేయ యింటి వంశకులకును

21. The sons of Shelah the son of Judah {were}, Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the house of them that wrought fine linen, of the house of Ashbea,

22. యోకీ మీయులకును కోజే బాయీయులకును యోవాషువారికిని మోయాబులో ప్రభుత్వము నొందిన శారాపీయులకును యాషూ బిలెహెమువారికిని అతడు పితరుడు; ఇవి పూర్వ కాలపు సంగతులే.

22. And Jokim, and the men of Chozeba, and Joash, and Saraph, who had the dominion in Moab, and Jashubi-lehem. And {these are} ancient things.

23. వారు కుమ్మరివాండ్లయి నెతాయీము నందును గెదేరానందును కాపురముండిరి; రాజు నియమము చేత అతనిపని విచారించుటకై అచ్చట కాపురముండిరి.

23. These {were} the potters, and those that dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his work.

24. షిమ్యోను కుమారులు నెమూయేలు యామీను యారీబు జెరహు షావూలు.

24. The sons of Simeon {were} Nemuel, and Jamin, Jarib, Zerah, {and} Shaul:

25. షావూలునకు షల్లూము కుమారుడు, షల్లూమునకు మిబ్శాము కుమారుడు, మిబ్శా మునకు మిష్మా కుమారుడు.

25. Shallum his son, Mibsam his son, Mishma his son.

26. మిష్మా కుమారులలో ఒకడు హమ్మూయేలు; హమ్మూయేలునకు జక్కూరు కుమారుడు, జక్కూరునకు షిమీ కుమారుడు.

26. And the sons of Mishma; Hamuel his son, Zacchur his son, Shimei his son.

27. షిమీకి పదునారుగురు కుమారులును ఆరుగురు కుమార్తెలును కలిగిరి; అయితే అతని సహోదరులకు ఎంతో మంది కుమారులు కలుగలేదు; యూదావారు వృద్ధియైనట్లు వారి వంశములన్నియు వృద్ధికాలేదు.

27. And Shimei had sixteen sons and six daughters; but his brethren had not many children, neither did all their family multiply, like the children of Judah.

28. వారు బెయేర్షెబాలోను మోలాదాలోను హజర్షువలులోను

28. And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and Moladah, and Hazar-shual,

29. బిల్హాలోను ఎజెములోను తోలాదులోను బెతూయేలులోను

29. And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,

30. హోర్మాలోను సిక్లగులోను బేత్మర్కాబోతులోను హాజర్సూసాలోను బేత్బీరీలోను షరాయిములోను కాపురముండిరి.

30. And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,

31. దావీదు ఏలుబడి వరకు వారు ఆ పట్టణములలో కాపురముండిరి.

31. And at Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susim, and at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim. These {were} their cities to the reign of David.

32. ఏతాము అయీను రిమ్మోను తోకెను ఆషాను అనువారి ఊళ్లు అయిదు.

32. And their villages {were}, Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, five cities:

33. బయలువరకు ఆ పట్టణముల పొలములు వారి వశమున ఉండెను; ఇవి వారి నివాసస్థలములు, వంశావళి పట్టీలు వారికుండెను.

33. And all their villages that {were} around the same cities to Baal. These {were} their habitations, and their genealogy.

34. వారు మెషోబాబు యమ్లేకు అమజ్యా కుమారుడైన యోషా,

34. And Meshobab, and Jamlech, and Joshah the son of Amaziah,

35. యోవేలు అశీయేలు కుమారుడైన శెరాయాకు పుట్టిన యోషిబ్యా కుమారుడైన యెహూ.

35. And Joel, and Jehu the son of Josibiah, the son of Seraiah, the son of Asiel,

36. ఎల్యోయేనై యహకోబా యెషోహాయా అశాయా అదీయేలు యెశీమీయేలు బెనాయా;

36. And Elioenai, and Jaakobah, and Jeshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Jesimiel, and Benaiah,

37. షెమయాకు పుట్టిన షిమీ కుమారుడైన యెదాయాకు పుట్టిన అల్లోను కుమారుడైన షిపి కుమారుడైన జీజా అనువారు.

37. And Ziza the son of Shiphi, the son of Allon, the son of Jedaiah, the son of Shimri, the son of Shemaiah;

38. పేళ్లవరుసను వ్రాయబడిన వీరు తమతమ వంశములలో పెద్దలైయుండిరి; వీరి పితరుల యిండ్లు బహుగా వర్ధిల్లెను.

38. These mentioned by {their} names {were} princes in their families: and the house of their fathers increased greatly.

39. వీరు తమ మందలకొరకు మేత వెదకుటకై గెదోరునకు తూర్పుననున్న పల్లపుస్థలమునకు పోయి

39. And they went to the entrance of Gedor, {even} to the east side of the valley, to seek pasture for their flocks.

40. మంచి బలకరమైన మేతయు నెమ్మదియు సుఖమునుగల విశాలదేశమును కనుగొనిరి; పూర్వ మందు హాముయొక్క వంశపువారు అక్కడ కాపుర ముండిరి.

40. And they found rich pasture and good, and the land {was} wide, and quiet, and peaceable; for {they} of Ham had dwelt there of old.

41. పేళ్లవరుసను వ్రాయబడియుండు వీరు యూదా రాజైన హిజ్కియా దినములలో అచ్చటికి వచ్చి అచ్చట కనబడినవారి గుడారములను నివాసస్థలములను పడగొట్టి వారిని హతముచేసి, అచ్చట తమ గొఱ్ఱెలకు తగిన మేత కలిగియుండుటచేత నేటివరకు వారి స్థానములను ఆక్రమించుకొని యున్నారు.

41. And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly to this day, and dwelt in their room: because {there was} pasture there for their flocks.

42. షిమ్యోను కుమారులైన వీరిలో ఐదువందలమంది తమపైని ఇషీ కుమారులైన పెలట్యాను నెయర్యాను రెఫాయాను ఉజ్జీయేలును అధి పతులగా నిర్ణయించుకొని శేయీరు మన్నెమునకు పోయి

42. And {some} of them, {even} of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.

43. అమాలేకీయులలో తప్పించుకొనిన శేషమును హతముచేసి నేటివరకు అచ్చట కాపురమున్నారు.

43. And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that had escaped, and have dwelt there to this day.
