1. ఈ ప్రకారము ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును తమ వంశములచొప్పున సరిచూడబడినమీదట వారిపేళ్లు ఇశ్రాయేలురాజుల గ్రంథమందు వ్రాయబడెను. యూదా వారు చేసిన ద్రోహమునకై వారు బాబెలునకు చెరగొని పోబడిరి.

1. All Israel was registered in the genealogies that are written about in the Book of the Kings of Israel. But Judah was exiled to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.

2. తమ స్వాస్థ్యములైన పట్టణములలో మునుపు కాపురమున్న వారెవరనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును యాజకు లును లేవీయులును నెతీనీయులును.

2. The first to live in their towns on their own property again were Israelites, priests, Levites, and temple servants.

3. యూదావారిలోను బెన్యామీనీయులలోను ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే సంబంధులలోను యెరూషలేమునందు కాపురమున్న వారెవరనగా

3. These people from the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh settled in Jerusalem:

4. యూదా కుమారుడైన పెరెసు సంతతివాడగు బానీ కుమారుడైన ఇమీకి పుట్టిన ఒమీ కుమారుడగు అమీహూదునకు జననమైన ఊతైయు.

4. Uthai son of Ammihud, son of Omri, son of Imri, son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah;

5. షిలోనీయుల పెద్దవాడైన ఆశాయాయు వాని పిల్లలును.

5. from the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons;

6. జెరహు సంతతివారిలో యెవుయేలు వాని సహోదరులైన ఆరువందల తొంబది మంది,

6. and from the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and 690 of their relatives.

7. బెన్యామీనీయులలో సెనూయా కుమారుడైన హోదవ్యాకు పుట్టిన మెషుల్లాము కుమారుడగు సల్లు,

7. The Benjaminites: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Hodaviah, son of Hassenuah;

8. యెరోహాము కుమారుడైన ఇబ్నెయా, మిక్రికి పుట్టిన ఉజ్జీ కుమారుడైన ఏలా, ఇబ్నీయా కుమారుడైన రగూవేలునకు పుట్టిన షెఫట్యా కుమారుడగు మెషుల్లాము.

8. Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, son of Michri; Meshullam son of Shephatiah, son of Reuel, son of Ibnijah;

9. వీరును వీరిసహోదరులును తమ తమ వంశముల పట్టీల చొప్పున తొమ్మిదివందల ఏబది ఆరుగురు; ఈ మనుష్యులందరును తమ పితరుల వంశములనుబట్టి తమ పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలు.

9. and 956 of their relatives according to their genealogical records. All these men were heads of their ancestral houses.

10. యాజకులలో యెదాయా యెహోయారీబు యాకీను,

10. The priests: Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jachin;

11. దేవుని మందిరములో అధిపతియైన అహీ టూబు కుమారుడైన మెరాయోతునకు పుట్టిన సాదోకు కుమారుడగు మెషుల్లామునకు కలిగిన హిల్కీయా కుమారుడైన అజర్యా;

11. Azariah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, the chief official of God's temple;

12. మల్కీయా కుమారుడగు పసూరునకు పుట్టిన యెరోహాము కుమారుడైన అదాయా ఇమ్మెరు కుమారుడైన మెషిల్లేమీతు నకు పుట్టిన మెషుల్లామునకు కుమారుడైన యహజేరాకు జననమైన అదీయేలు కుమారుడగు మశై.

12. Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pashhur, son of Malchijah; Maasai son of Adiel, son of Jahzerah, son of Meshullam, son of Meshillemith, son of Immer;

13. and 1,760 of their relatives, the heads of households. They were capable men employed in the ministry of God's temple.

15. Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah, son of Mica, son of Zichri, son of Asaph;

16. యదూతోను కుమారు డైన గాలాలునకు పుట్టిన షెమయా కుమారుడైన ఓబద్యా, నెటోపాతీయుల గ్రామములలో కాపురమున్న ఎల్కానా కుమారుడైన ఆసాకు పుట్టిన బెరెక్యా.

16. Obadiah son of Shemaiah, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah son of Asa, son of Elkanah who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

17. ద్వారపాలకులు ఎవరనగా షల్లూము అక్కూబు టల్మోను అహీమాను అనువారును వారి సహో దరులును. వీరిలో షల్లూము పెద్ద.

17. The gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their relatives. Shallum was their chief;

18. లేవీయుల సమూహ ములలో వీరు తూర్పుననుండు రాజు గుమ్మమునొద్ద ఇంత వరకు కాపురము చేయుచున్నారు.

18. he was previously stationed at the King's Gate on the east side. These were the gatekeepers from the camp of the Levites.

19. మరియు కోరహు కుమారుడగు ఎబ్యాసాపునకు పుట్టిన కోరే కుమారుడైన షల్లూమును వాని పితరుని యింటివారును వాని సహో దరులగు కోరహీయులును సేవాసంబంధమైన పనిమీదనుండి గుడారమునకు ద్వారపాలకులై యుండిరి; వారి పితరులు యెహోవా పాళెమునకు కావలివారై యుండి ప్రవేశ స్థలమును కాయుచుండిరి.

19. Shallum son of Kore, son of Ebiasaph, son of Korah and his relatives from his household, the Korahites, were assigned to guard the thresholds of the tent. Their ancestors had been assigned to the LORD's camp as guardians of the entrance.

20. ఎలియాజరు కుమారుడైన ఫీనెహాసు మునుపు వారిమీద అధికారియై యుండెను, యెహోవా అతనితోకూడ నుండెను.

20. In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar had been their leader, and the LORD was with him.

21. మరియు మెషెలెమ్యా కుమారుడైన జెకర్యా సమాజపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునకు కావలి.

21. Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

22. గుమ్మములయొద్ద ద్వారపాలకులుగా ఏర్పడిన వీరందరు రెండువందల పన్నిద్దరు; వీరు తమ గ్రామముల వరుసను తమ వంశావళి చొప్పున సరిచూడబడిరి; వీరు నమ్మదగినవారని దావీదును దీర్ఘదర్శియగు సమూయేలును వీరిని నియమించిరి.

22. The total number of those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds was 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their trusted positions.

23. వారికిని వారి కుమారు లకును యెహోవా మందిరపు గుమ్మములకు, అనగా గుడా రపు మందిరముయొక్క గుమ్మములకు వంతుల చొప్పున కావలికాయు పని గలిగియుండెను.

23. So they and their sons were assigned to the gates of the LORD's house, the house of the tent.

24. గుమ్మముల కావలి వారు నాలుగు దిశలను, అనగా తూర్పునను పడమరను ఉత్తరమునను దక్షిణమునను ఉండిరి.

24. The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north, and south.

25. వారి సహోదరులు తమ గ్రామములలోనుండి యేడేసి దినముల కొకసారివారియొద్దకు వచ్చుటకద్దు.

25. Their relatives came from their villages at fixed times to be with them seven days,

26. లేవీయులైన నలుగురు ప్రధాన ద్వారపాలకులు ఉత్తరవాదులై యుండిరి; దేవుని మందిరపు గదులమీదను బొక్కసములమీదను ఆ లేవీయులు ఉంచబడియుండిరి.

26. but the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the rooms and the treasuries of God's temple.

27. వారు దేవుని మందిరమునకు కావలివారు గనుక వారి కాపురములు దానిచుట్టు ఉండెను. ప్రతి ఉదయమున మందిరపు వాకిండ్లను తెరచుపని వారిదే.

27. They spent the night in the vicinity of God's temple, because they had guard duty and were in charge of opening it every morning.

28. వారిలో కొందరు సేవోపకరణములను కనిపెట్టు వారు, వారు లెక్కచొప్పున వాటిని లోపలికి కొనిపోవలెను, లెక్క చొప్పున వెలుపలికి తీసికొని రావలెను.

28. Some of them were in charge of the utensils used in worship. They would count them when they brought them in and when they took them out.

29. Others were put in charge of the furnishings and all the utensils of the sanctuary, as well as the fine flour, wine, oil, incense, and spices.

30. But some of the priests' sons mixed the spices.

31. లేవీయులలో కోరహు సంతతివాడైన షల్లూమునకు పెద్ద కుమారుడైన మత్తిత్యా పిండివంటల మీద నుంచబడెను.

31. A Levite called Mattithiah, the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with baking the bread.

32. వారి సహోదరులగు కహాతీయులలో కొందరికి విశ్రాంతి దినమున సముఖపు రొట్టెలు సిద్ధము చేయు పని కలిగియుండెను.

32. Some of the Kohathites' relatives were responsible for preparing the rows of the bread [of the Presence] every Sabbath.

33. లేవీయుల పితరులలో పెద్దలైన గాయకులు రాత్రింబగళ్లు పని విచారణ కలిగియున్న హేతువుచేత వారు కడమ పనుల విచారణలేకుండ తమ గదులలోనుండిరి.

33. The singers, the heads of Levite families, stayed in the [temple] chambers and were exempt from other tasks because they were on duty day and night.

34. వీరు తమ వంశపట్టీల చొప్పున లేవీయుల పితరులలో పెద్దలైనవారు. వీరు యెరూషలేమునందు కాపురముండిరి.

34. These were the heads of Levite families, chiefs according to their genealogies, and lived in Jerusalem.

35. గిబియోను తండ్రి యైన యెహీయేలు గిబియోనులో కాపురముండెను, అతని భార్యపేరు మయకా.

35. Jeiel fathered Gibeon and lived in Gibeon. His wife's name was Maacah.

36. ఇతని పెద్ద కుమారుడు అబ్దోను; సూరు కీషు బయలు నేరు నాదాబు

36. Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

37. గెదోరు అహ్యో జెకర్యా మిక్లోతు తరువాత పుట్టినవారు.

37. Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38. మిక్లోతు షిమ్యానును కనెను. వీరు యెరూషలేము వాసులగు తమ సహోదరులతో కూడ తమ సహోదరులకు ఎదురుగా నున్న యిండ్లలోనే కాపురముండిరి.

38. Mikloth fathered Shimeam. These also lived opposite their relatives in Jerusalem with their [other] relatives.

39. నేరు కీషును కనెను, కీషు సౌలును కనెను, సౌలు యోనాతానును మల్కీషూవను అబీనాదాబును ఎష్బయలును కనెను.

39. Ner fathered Kish, Kish fathered Saul, and Saul fathered Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Esh-baal.

40. యోనాతాను కుమారుడు మెరీబ్బయలు, మెరీబ్బయలు మీకాను కనెను.

40. Jonathan's son was Merib-baal, and Merib-baal fathered Micah.

41. మీకా కుమారులు పీతోను మెలెకు తరేయ (ఆహాజు. )

41. Micah's sons: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.

42. ఆహాజు యరాను కనెను; యరా ఆలెమెతును అజ్మావెతును జిమీని కనెను, జిమీ మోజాను కనెను.

42. Ahaz fathered Jarah; Jarah fathered Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; Zimri fathered Moza.

43. Moza fathered Binea. His son was Rephaiah, his son Eleasah, and his son Azel.

44. Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were Azel's sons.
