1. హిజ్కియా యేలనారంభించినప్పుడు ఇరువది యయిదేండ్లవాడై యిరువదితొమ్మిది సంవత్సరములు యెరూషలేములో ఏలెను. అతని తల్లి జెకర్యా కుమార్తె, ఆమె పేరు అబీయా.

1. And, Hezekiah, began to reign when he was twenty-five years old, and, twenty-nine years, reigned he in Jerusalem, and, the name of his mother, was Abijah, daughter of Zechariah.

2. అతడు తన పితరుడగు దావీదు చర్యయంతటి ప్రకారము యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థముగా ప్రవర్తించెను.

2. And he did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, according to all that, David his father, had done.

3. అతడు తన యేలుబడియందు మొదటి సంవత్సరము మొదటి నెలను యెహోవా మందిరపు తలుపులను తెరచి వాటిని బాగుచేసి,

3. He, in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.

4. యాజకులను లేవీయులను పిలువనంపి, తూర్పుగానున్న రాజవీధిలో వారిని సమకూర్చి

4. And he brought in the priests, and the Levites, and gathered them together in the broadway on the east;

5. వారికీలాగు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెనులేవీయు లారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి; ఇప్పుడు మిమ్మును మీరు ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొని, మీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందిరమును ప్రతిష్ఠించి పరిశుద్ధస్థలములోనుండి నిషిద్ధ వస్తువుల నన్నిటిని బయటికి కొనిపోవుడి.

5. and said unto them, Hear me, O Levites! Now, hallow yourselves, and hallow the house of Yahweh, God of your fathers, and take forth the impure thing out of the holy place.

6. మన పితరులు ద్రోహులైమన దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి చెడునడతలు నడచి ఆయనను విసర్జించి, ఆయన నివాసమునకు పెడముఖము పెట్టుకొని దానిని అలక్ష్యముచేసిరి.

6. For our fathers have acted unfaithfully and done the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned round their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and have offered their backs.

7. మరియు వారు మంటపముయొక్క ద్వారములను మూసివేసి దీప ములను ఆర్పివేసి, పరిశుద్ధస్థలమందు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు దేవునికి ధూపము వేయకయు దహనబలులను అర్పింపకయు ఉండిరి.

7. Moreover they have shut up the doors of the porch, and have quenched the lamps, and, incense, have they not burned, and, ascending-sacrifice, have they not caused to go up in the holy place, unto the God of Israel.

8. అందుచేత యెహోవా యూదావారిమీదను యెరూ షలేము కాపురస్థులమీదను కోపించి, మీరు కన్నులార చూచుచున్నట్లుగా వారిని ఆయన భీతికిని విస్మయ మునకును నిందకును ఆస్పదముగాచేసెను.

8. Thus hath it come to pass, that, the wrath of Yahweh, hath been upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them up as a terror and as an astonishment and as hissing, even as, ye, can see with your own eyes.

9. కాబట్టి మన తండ్రులు కత్తిచేత పడిరి; మన కుమారులును కుమార్తెలును భార్యలును చెరలోనికి కొనపోబడిరి.

9. And lo! our fathers have fallen by the sword, and, our sons and our daughters and our wives, are in captivity for this.

10. ఇప్పుడు మనమీదనున్న ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మహోగ్రత చల్లారునట్లు ఆయనతో మనము నిబంధన చేయవలెనని నా మనస్సులో అభిలాష పుట్టెను.

10. Now, is it near my heart, to solemnise a covenant unto Yahweh, God of Israel, that he may turn from him the glow of his anger.

11. నా కుమారులారా, తనకు పరిచారకులైయుండి ధూపము వేయుచుండుటకును, తన సన్నిధిని నిలుచుటకును, తనకు పరిచర్య చేయుటకును యెహోవా మిమ్మును ఏర్పరచుకొనెను గనుక మీరు అశ్రద్ధచేయకుడి.

11. My sons! now, do not be faulty, for, of you, hath Yahweh made choice, to stand before him, and to wait upon him, and to be his attendants and burners of incense.

12. అప్పుడు కహాతీయులలో అమాశై కుమారుడైన మహతు అజర్యా కుమారుడైన యోవేలు, మెరారీయులలో అబ్దీ కుమారుడైన కీషు యెహాల్లెలేలు కుమారుడైన అజర్యా, గెర్షోనీయులలో జిమ్మా కుమారుడైన యోవాహు యోవాహు కుమారుడైన ఏదేను

12. Then arose the Levites Mahath son of Amasai, and Joel son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites, and, of the sons of Merari, Kish son of Abdi, and Azariah son of Jehallelel, and, of the Gershonites, Joah son of Zimmah, and Eden son of Joah;

13. ఎలీషాపాను సంతతి వారిలో షిమీ యెహీయేలు, ఆసాపు కుమారులలో జెకర్యా మత్తన్యా

13. and, of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeiel, and, of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah, and Mattaniah;

14. హేమాను సంతతివారిలో యెహీయేలు షిమీ, యెదూతూను సంతతివారిలో షెమయా ఉజ్జీయేలు అను లేవీయులు నియమించబడిరి.

14. and, of the sons of Heman, Jehiel and Shimei, and, of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah, and Uzziel;

15. వీరు తమ సహోదరులను సమకూర్చి తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొని యెహోవా మాటలనుబట్టి రాజు ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞచొప్పున యెహోవా మందిరమును పవిత్రపరచుటకు వచ్చిరి.

15. and they gathered together their brethren, who hallowed themselves, and came in according to the command of the king, in the things of Yahweh, to purify the house of Yahweh.

16. పవిత్రపరచుటకై యాజకులు యెహోవా మందిరపు లోపలి భాగమునకు పోయి యెహోవా మందిరములో తమకు కనబడిన నిషిద్ధవస్తువులన్నిటిని యెహోవా మందిరపు ఆవరణములోనికి తీసికొనిరాగా లేవీయులు వాటిని ఎత్తి కిద్రోను వాగులో పారవేసిరి.

16. So the priests entered into the inner part of the house of Yahweh, to make purification, and they brought out every unclean thing which they found in the temple of Yahweh, into the court of the house of Yahweh, where the Levites received it, to carry it forth to the Kidron ravine outside.

17. మొదటి నెల మొదటి దినమున వారు ప్రతిష్ఠచేయ నారంభించి, ఆ నెల యెనిమిదవ దినమున యెహోవా మంటపమునకు వచ్చిరి. ఈ ప్రకారము వారు ఎనిమిది దినములు యెహోవా మందిరమును ప్రతిష్ఠించుచు మొదటి నెల పదునారవ దినమున సమాప్తి చేసిరి.

17. And they began, on the first of the first month, to hallow, and, on the eighth day of the month, they came to the porch of Yahweh, so they hallowed the house of Yahweh in eight days, and, on the sixteenth day of the first month, they finished.

18. అప్పుడు వారు రాజైన హిజ్కియాయొద్దకు పోయిమేము యెహోవా మందిరమంతటిని దహన బలిపీఠమును ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని సన్నిధి రొట్టెలుంచు బల్లను పవిత్రపరచి యున్నాము.

18. Then came they in unto Hezekiah the king, and said, We have purified all the house of Yahweh, the altar of ascending-sacrifice, and all the utensils thereof, and the table for setting in array, and all the utensils thereof.

19. మరియు రాజైన ఆహాజు ఏలిన కాలమున అతడు ద్రోహముచేసి పారవేసిన ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని మేము సిద్ధపరచి ప్రతిష్టించియున్నాము, అవి యెహోవా బలిపీఠము ఎదుట ఉన్నవని చెప్పిరి.

19. And, all the utensils which King Ahaz in his reign rejected when he acted unfaithfully, have we made ready and hallowed, and, there they are, before the altar of Yahweh.

20. అప్పుడు రాజైన హిజ్కియా పెందలకడలేచి, పట్టణపు అధికారులను సమకూర్చుకొని యెహోవా మందిరమునకు పోయెను.

20. So Hezekiah the king rose up early, and gathered together the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of Yahweh.

21. రాజ్యముకొరకును పరిశుద్ధస్థలముకొరకును యూదావారికొరకును పాపపరిహారార్థబలి చేయుటకై యేడు కోడెలను ఏడు పొట్టేళ్లను ఏడు గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను ఏడు మేకపోతులను వారు తెచ్చియుంచిరి గనుక అతడుయెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద వాటిని అర్పించుడని అహరోను సంతతివారగు యాజకులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

21. And they brought in seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven young sheep, and seven he-goats for bearing sin, for the kingdom and for the sanctuary and for Judah, and he bade the sons of Aaron, the priests, cause them to ascend upon the altar of Yahweh.

22. పరిచార కులు ఆ కోడెలను వధించినప్పుడు యాజకులు వాటి రక్తమును తీసికొని బలిపీఠముమీద ప్రోక్షించిరి. ఆ ప్రకారము వారు పొట్లేళ్లను వధించినప్పుడు యాజకులు ఆ రక్తమును బలిపీఠముమీద ప్రోక్షించిరి. వారు గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలను వధించినప్పుడు ఆ రక్తమును బలిపీఠముమీద ప్రోక్షించిరి.

22. So they slaughtered the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and dashed it against the altar, and they slaughtered the rams, and dashed the blood against the altar, and slaughtered the young sheep, and dashed the blood against the altar.

23. పాపపరిహారార్థబలికై రాజు ఎదుటికిని సమాజము ఎదుటికిని మేకపోతులను తీసికొనిరాగా, వారు తమ చేతులను వాటిమీద ఉంచిన తరువాత యాజకులు వాటిని వధించి

23. And they brought near the he-goats for bearing sin, before the king, and the convocation, and they leaned their hands upon them;

24. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరికొరకు దహనబలియు పాపపరిహారార్థ బలియు అర్పింపవలెనని రాజు ఆజ్ఞాపించి యుండెను గనుక, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరి నిమిత్తము ప్రాయ శ్చి త్తము చేయుటకై బలిపీఠముమీద వాటి రక్తమును పోసి, పాపపరిహారార్థబలి అర్పించిరి.

24. and the priests slaughtered them, and sin-cleansed, with their blood, the altar, to put a propitiatory-covering over all Israel, because, for all Israel, did the king appoint the ascending-sacrifice and the offering for bearing sin.

25. మరియు దావీదును దావీదు రాజుకు దీర్ఘదర్శియైన గాదును ప్రవక్తయైన నాతా నును చేసిన నిర్ణయముచొప్పున యెహోవా మందిరములో తాళములను స్వరమండలములను సితారాలను వాయించుటకై అతడు లేవీయులను ఏర్పాటుచేసెను. ఆలాగు జరుగవలెనని యెహోవా తన ప్రవక్తలద్వారా ఆజ్ఞాపించి యుండెను.

25. And he caused the Levites to stand in the house of Yahweh, with cymbals and with harps and with lyres, by the commandment of David, and of Gad the seer of the king, and of Nathan the prophet, for, by the hand of Yahweh, came the commandment by the hand of his prophets.

26. దావీదు చేయించిన వాద్యములను వాయించు టకు లేవీయులును బూరలు ఊదుటకు యాజకులును నియ మింపబడిరి.

26. So the Levites took their stand, with the instruments of David, and the priests, with the trumpets.

27. బలిపీఠముమీద దహనబలులను అర్పించుడని హిజ్కియా ఆజ్ఞాపించెను. దహనబలి యర్పణ ఆరంభ మగుటతోనే బూరలు ఊదుటతోను ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజైన దావీదు చేయించిన వాద్యములను వాయించుటతోను యెహోవాకు స్తుతి గానము ఆరంభమాయెను.

27. And Hezekiah gave word, to cause the ascending-sacrifice to go up on the altar, and, when the ascending-sacrifice began, the singing unto Yahweh began, and the trumpets, even under the direction of the instruments of David, king of Israel.

28. అంత సేపును సర్వసమాజము ఆరాధించుచుండెను. గాయకులు పాడుచుండిరి, బూరలు ఊదు వారు నాదముచేయుచుండిరి, దహనబలియర్పణ సమాప్తమగువరకు ఇదియంతయు జరుగుచుండెను.

28. And, all the convocation, were bowing themselves in prostration, and, the song, was resounding and the trumpets were blowing, the whole, until the completing of the ascending-sacrifice.

29. వారు అర్పించుట ముగించిన తరువాత రాజును అతనితోకూడనున్న వారందరును తమ తలలు వంచి ఆరాధించిరి.

29. And, when the offering was complete, the king knelt down and all who were present with him, and bowed themselves in prostration.

30. దావీదును దీర్ఘదర్శియగు ఆసాపును రచించిన శ్లోకములను ఎత్తి యెహోవాను స్తుతించుడని రాజైన హిజ్కియాయును అధిపతులును లేవీయులకు ఆజ్ఞా పింపగా వారు సంతోషముతో స్తోత్రములు పాడి తలవంచి ఆరాధించిరి.

30. And Hezekiah the king and the rulers gave word to the Levites, to offer praise unto Yahweh, in the words of David, and of Asaph the seer, so they offered praise right joyfully, and bent their heads and bowed themselves in prostration.

31. అంతట హిజ్కియామీరిప్పుడు యెహోవాకు మిమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొంటిరి; దగ్గరకు వచ్చి యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి బలిద్రవ్యములను కృతజ్ఞతార్పణలను తీసి కొనిరండని ఆజ్ఞ ఇయ్యగా సమాజపువారు బలిద్రవ్యములను కృతజ్ఞతార్పణలను తీసికొని వచ్చిరి, దహనబలుల నర్పించుటకు ఎవరికి ఇష్టముపుట్టెనో వారు దహనబలి ద్రవ్యములను తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

31. Then responded Hezekiah and said Now, have ye consecrated yourselves unto Yahweh. Draw near, and bring in sacrifices and thank-offerings unto the house of Yahweh, So the convocation brought sacrifices and thank-offerings, and, everyone of a willing heart, brought ascending-sacrifices.

32. సమాజపువారు తీసికొని వచ్చిన దహనబలి పశువులెన్నియనగా, డెబ్బది కోడెలును నూరు పొట్టేళ్లును రెండువందల గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలును; ఇవి యన్నియు యెహోవాకు దహనబలులుగా తేబడెను.

32. And it came to pass that, the number of ascending-sacrifices which the convocation brought, was seventy bullocks, and a hundred rams, and two hundred young sheep, as an ascending-sacrifice unto Yahweh, all these.

33. ప్రతిష్ఠింపబడినవి ఆరువందల ఎద్దులును మూడువేల గొఱ్ఱెలును.

33. But, the hallowed beasts, were six hundred bullocks, and three thousand sheep.

34. యాజకులు కొద్దిగా ఉన్నందున వారు ఆ దహనబలి పశువులన్నిటిని ఒలువలేకపోగా, పని సంపూర్ణ మగువరకు కడమయాజకులు తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనువరకు వారి సహోదరులగు లేవీయులు వారికి సహాయము చేసిరి; తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనుటయందు యాజకులకంటె లేవీయులు యథార్థహృదయులై యుండిరి.

34. Only, the priests, were too few, and were unable to flay all the ascending-sacrifices, so their brethren the Levites strengthened them, until the work was complete and until the priests had hallowed themselves, for, the Levites, were more upright in heart to hallow themselves, than the priests.

35. సమాధాన బలి పశువుల క్రొవ్వును దహనబలి పశువులును దహనబలులకు ఏర్పడిన పానార్పణలును సమృద్ధిగా ఉండెను. ఈలాగున యెహోవా మందిరసేవ క్రమముగా జరిగెను.

35. Moreover also, the ascending-sacrifices, were in abundance, with the fat portions of the peace-offerings, and with the drink-offerings to every ascending-sacrifice, thus was established the service of the house of Yahweh.

36. ఈ కార్యము అప్పటికప్పుడే జరిగినందున దేవుడు జనులకు సిద్ధపరచినదానిని చూచి హిజ్కియాయును జనులందరును సంతోషించిరి.

36. And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, because God had established it for the people, for, suddenly, had the thing come about.
