1. And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem, in Mount Moriah, where He appeared to his father David, in the place that David had prepared, in the grain floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

2. తన యేలుబడిలో నాలుగవ సంవత్సరము రెండవ నెల రెండవ దినమందు దాని కట్టనారంభించెను.

2. And he began to build on the second, in the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

3. దేవుని మందిరమునకు సొలొమోను పునాదులు ఏర్పరచెను, పూర్వపు కొలల ప్రకారము పొడవు అరువది మూరలు, వెడల్పు ఇరువది మూరలు.

3. And these are the foundations Solomon laid, to build the house of God: the length by cubits according to the ancient measure, sixty cubits; and the breadth twenty cubits.

4. మందిరపు ముఖమంటపము మందిరపు పొడుగునుబట్టి యిరువది మూరలు వెడల్పు, నూట ఇరువది మూరలు ఎత్తు, దాని లోపలిభాగమును ప్రసశ్తమైన బంగారముతో అతడు పొదిగించెను.

4. As to the porch on the front, the length, according to the breadth of the house in front, was twenty cubits, and the height a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it inside with pure gold.

5. మందిరపు పెద్ద గదిని దేవదారుపలకలతో కప్పి వాటిపైన మేలిమి బంగారమును పొదిగించి పైభాగమున ఖర్జూరపుచెట్లవంటి పనియు గొలుసులవంటి పనియు చెక్కించి

5. And the greater house he covered with cypress wood, and he covered it with good gold, and caused to go on it palms and chains.

6. ప్రశస్తమైన రత్నములతో దానిని అలంకరించెను. ఆ బంగారము పర్వయీమునుండి వచ్చినది.

6. And he overlaid the house with precious stones for beauty, and the gold was gold from Parvaim.

7. మందిరపు దూలములను స్తంభములను దాని గోడలను దాని తలుపులను బంగారముతో పొదిగించి గోడలమీద కెరూబులను చెక్కించెను.

7. And he covered the house, the beams, the threshold, and the walls, and its doors with gold; and engraved cherubs on the walls.

8. And he built the Most Holy House, its length was the same as the front, as of the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he covered it with good gold, to six hundred talents;

9. and the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold, and he covered the upper rooms with gold.

10. అతిపరిశుద్ధ స్థలమునందు చెక్కడపు పనిగల రెండు కెరూబులను చేయించి వాటిని బంగారుతో పొదిగించెను.

10. And in the Most Holy House he made two cherubs of image work, and he overlaid them with gold.

11. ఆ కెరూబుల రెక్కల పొడవు ఇరువది మూరలు,

11. And the wings of the cherubs, their length was twenty cubits: the wing of the one was five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub;

12. ఒక్కొక్క రెక్క అయిదు మూరల పొడుగు, అది మందిరపు గోడకు తగులుచుండెను, రెండవది జతగానున్న కెరూబు రెక్కకు తగులుచుండెను.

12. and the wing of the other cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the house, and the other wing was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub.

13. ఈ ప్రకారము చాచుకొనిన ఈ కెరూబుల రెక్కలు ఇరువది మూరలు వ్యాపించెను, కెరూబులు పాదములమీద నిలువబడెను, వాటి ముఖములు మందిరపు లోతట్టు తిరిగి యుండెను.

13. The wings of these cherubs spread out twenty cubits, and they were standing on their feet, and their faces were inward.

14. అతడు నీలి నూలుతోను ఊదా నూలుతోను ఎఱ్ఱ నూలుతోను సన్నపు నారనూలుతోను ఒక తెరను చేయించి దానిమీద కెరూబులను కుట్టించెను.

14. And he made the veil of violet, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and caused to go on it cherubs.

15. ఇదియు గాక మందిరము ముందర ఉండుటకై ముప్పదియయిదు మూరల యెత్తుగల రెండు స్తంభములను వాటిమీదికి అయిదు మూరల యెత్తుగల పీటలను చేయించెను.

15. And at the front of the house, he made two pillars thirty five cubits high, and the capital on their tops was five cubits.

16. గర్భాలయము నందు చేసినట్టు గొలుసు పని చేయించి, స్తంభముల పైభాగమున దాని ఉంచి, నూరు దానిమ్మపండ్లను చేయించి ఆ గొలుసు పనిమీద తగిలించెను.

16. And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the capitals of the pillars; and made a hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains.

17. ఆ రెండు స్థంభములను దేవాలయము ఎదుట కుడితట్టున ఒకటియు ఎడమతట్టున ఒకటియు నిలువబెట్టించి, కుడితట్టు దానికి యాకీను అనియు, ఎడమతట్టు దానికి బోయజు అనియు పేళ్లు పెట్టెను.

17. And he set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right, and one on the left, and called the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
