1. Hezekiah sent messengers to all Israel and Judah, and also wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, bidding them come to the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover in honour of Yahweh, God of Israel.

2. సేవకు చాలినంతమంది యాజకులు తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనకుండుటచేతను, జనులు యెరూష లేములో కూడుకొనకుండుట చేతను, మొదటినెలయందు పస్కాపండుగ జరుగకపోగా

2. For the king and his officials and the whole congregation in Jerusalem had agreed to celebrate the Passover in the second month,

3. రాజును అతని అధిపతులును యెరూషలేములోనున్న సమాజపువారందరును దానిని రెండవ నెలలో ఆచరింపవలెనని యోచనచేసిరి.

3. having been unable to celebrate it at the proper time, since the priests had not purified themselves in sufficient number, and the people were not assembled in Jerusalem.

4. ఈ సంగతి రాజుకును సమాజపువారికందరికిని అనుకూల మాయెను.

4. And since this arrangement seemed fitting to the king and the whole congregation,

5. కావున బహుకాలమునుండి వారు వ్రాయ బడిన ప్రకారము ఇంత ఘనముగా నాచరింపకుండుట చూచి, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు యెరూషలేములో పస్కాపండుగ ఆచరించుటకై రావలసినదని బెయేర్షెబా మొదలుకొని దాను వరకు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులుండు దేశమంతటను చాటింపవలెనని వారు నిర్ణయముచేసిరి.

5. they resolved to send a proclamation throughout Israel, from Dan to Beersheba, calling on the people to come to Jerusalem and celebrate a Passover in honour of Yahweh, God of Israel, since they had not celebrated it in a body as prescribed.

6. కావున అంచెవాండ్రు రాజునొద్దను అతని అధిపతులయొద్దను తాకీదులు తీసికొని, యూదా ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములందంతట సంచరించి రాజాజ్ఞను ఈలాగు ప్రచురము చేసిరిఇశ్రాయేలువారలారా, అబ్రా హాము ఇస్సాకు ఇశ్రాయేలుల దేవుడైన యెహోవావైపు తిరుగుడి; మీరు తిరిగినయెడల మీలో అష్షూరురాజుల చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొని శేషించినవారివైపు ఆయన తిరుగును.

6. So, by order of the king, courtiers set out with letters from the king and his officials for every part of Israel and Judah, saying, 'Israelites, return to Yahweh, God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, and he will return to those of you who are left and have escaped the grasp of the kings of Assyria.

7. తమ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాయెడల ద్రోహముగా ప్రవర్తించిన మీ పితరులవలెను మీ సహో దరులవలెను మీరు ప్రవర్తింపకుడి. వారి ప్రవర్తన ఎట్టిదొమీకు అగపరచవలెనని ఆయన వారిని వినాశమునకు అప్పగించెను.

7. Do not be like your fathers and brothers who were unfaithful to Yahweh, God of their ancestors; he brought them to ruin, as you can see.

8. మీ పితరులవలె మీరు అవిధేయులుగాక యెహోవాకు లోబడి, ఆయన శాశ్వతముగా పరిశుద్ధ పరచిన ఆయన పరిశుద్ధమందిరములో ప్రవేశించి, మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మహోగ్రత మీ మీదినుండి తొలగి పోవునట్లు ఆయనను సేవించుడి.

8. Do not be stubborn like your ancestors. Submit to Yahweh, come to his sanctuary which he has consecrated for ever, and serve Yahweh your God, so that his fierce anger may turn away from you.

9. మీరు యెహోవావైపు తిరిగినయెడల మీ సహోదరులయెడలను మీ పిల్లల యెడలను చెరతీసికొని పోయిన వారికి కనికరము పుట్టును, వారు ఈ దేశమునకు తిరిగి వచ్చెదరు. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా కరుణాకటాక్షములు గలవాడు గనుక మీరు ఆయనవైపు తిరిగినయెడల ఆయన మీయందు ప్రసన్నుడగును.

9. For if you return to Yahweh, your brothers and your sons will be treated mercifully by their captors and be allowed to return to this country; for Yahweh your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn his face away from you, if you return to him.'

10. అంచెవాండ్రు జెబూలూను దేశమువరకును, ఎఫ్రా యిము మనష్షేల దేశములలోనున్న ప్రతి పట్టణమునకును పోయిరి గాని అచ్చటివారు ఎగతాళిచేసి వారిని అపహ సించిరి.

10. The courtiers went from town to town through the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh and as far as Zebulon but the people laughed and scoffed at them;

11. అయినను ఆషేరు మనష్షే జెబూలూను దేశముల వారిలోనుండి కొందరు కృంగిన మనస్సుతో యెరూషలేమునకు వచ్చిరి.

11. even so, some people from Asher and Manasseh and Zebulon were humble enough to come to Jerusalem,

12. యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టి రాజును అధిపతులును చేసిన నిర్ణయమును నెరవేర్చునట్లు యూదాలోనివారికి మనస్సు ఏకముచేయుటకై దేవుని హస్తము వారికి తోడ్పడెను.

12. while in Judah the hand of God was also at work inspiring a unanimous desire to obey the order of the king and the officials in accordance with the word of Yahweh.

13. కావున రెండవ నెలయందు పులియని రొట్టెలపండుగ ఆచరించుటకై అతివిస్తారమైన సమాజముగా బహు జనులు యెరూషలేములో కూడిరి.

13. A huge crowd assembled in Jerusalem to celebrate the feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month. An immense crowd

14. వారు దాని చేపట్టి యెరూషలేములోనున్న బలిపీఠములను ధూపపీఠములను తీసివేసి, కిద్రోను వాగులో వాటిని పారవేసిరి.

14. set to work removing the altars then in Jerusalem; they also removed all the incense altars and threw them into the Kidron Valley.

15. రెండవ నెల పదునాల్గవ దినమున వారు పస్కాపశువును వధించిరి; యాజకులును లేవీయులును సిగ్గునొంది, తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొని దహనబలి పశువులను యెహోవా మందిరములోనికి తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

15. They then slaughtered the Passover victims on the fourteenth day of the second month. Ashamed of themselves, the priests and Levites had in the meanwhile sanctified themselves and brought burnt offerings to the Temple of Yahweh,

16. దైవజనుడైన మోషే నియమించిన ధర్మశాస్త్రములోని విధినిబట్టి వారు తమ స్థలమందు నిలువబడగా, యాజకులు లేవీయుల చేతిలోనుండి రక్తమును తీసికొని దానిని ప్రోక్షించిరి.

16. so they now stood in their positions prescribed in the Law of Moses man of God, the priests sprinkling the blood handed to them by the Levites.

17. సమాజకులలో తమ్మును ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనని వారనేకు లుండుటచేత యెహోవాకు వాటిని ప్రతిష్ఠించుటకై ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనని ప్రతివాని నిమిత్తము పస్కాపశువులను వధించుపని లేవీయుల కప్పగింపబడెను.

17. Since many people in the congregation had not sanctified themselves, the Levites took care of the slaughter of the Passover victims to consecrate them to Yahweh for all who were not clean.

18. ఎఫ్రాయిము మనష్షే ఇశ్శాఖారు జెబూలూను దేశములనుండి వచ్చిన జనులలో చాలామంది తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించు కొనకయే విధివిరుద్ధముగా పస్కాను భుజింపగా హిజ్కియా

18. For a great many people, especially from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulon, had not purified themselves, since they did not eat the Passover as prescribed. But Hezekiah prayed for them as follows, 'May Yahweh in his goodness pardon

19. పరిశుద్ధస్థలముయొక్క శుద్ధీకరణముచొప్పున తన్ను పవిత్రపరచుకొనకయే తన పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవాను ఆశ్రయింప మనస్సు నిలుపుకొనిన ప్రతి వాని నిమిత్తము దయగల యెహోవా ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయునుగాక అని ప్రార్థింపగా

19. everyone whose heart is set on seeking God, Yahweh, God of his ancestors, even if he has not been purified as holy things demand.'

20. యెహోవా హిజ్కియా చేసిన ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించి జనులను స్వస్థపరచెను.

20. Yahweh listened to Hezekiah and left the people unharmed.

21. యెరూషలేములోనున్న ఇశ్రాయేలువారు బహు సంతోష భరితులై పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగను ఏడు దినములుఆచరించిరి. లేవీయులును యాజకులును యెహోవాను ఘనపరచుచు గొప్ప నాదముగల వాద్యములతో ప్రతి దినము ఆయనను స్తుతించుచు ఉండిరి.

21. Amid great rejoicing, the Israelites present in Jerusalem celebrated the feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days, while day after day the Levites and the priests praised Yahweh with all their might.

22. యెహోవా సేవ యందు మంచి నేర్పరులైన లేవీయులందరితో హిజ్కియా ప్రీతిగా మాటలాడెను; వారు సమాధానబలులు అర్పించుచు, తమ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా దేవుడని యొప్పుకొనుచు ఏడు దినములు పండుగ ఆచరించిరి.

22. Hezekiah then encouraged all the Levites who had such understanding of Yahweh. Having finished the seven-day festival, during which they sacrificed communion sacrifices and praised Yahweh, God of their ancestors,

23. యూదా రాజైన హిజ్కియా సమాజపువారికి బలియర్పణల నిమిత్తము వెయ్యి కోడెలను ఏడువేల గొఱ్ఱెల నిచ్చుటయు, అధిపతులు వెయ్యి కోడెలను పదివేల గొఱ్ఱెల నిచ్చు టయు, బహుమంది యాజకులు తమ్మును తాము ప్రతిష్ఠించుకొనుటయు

23. the whole congregation decided to celebrate for a further seven days. So they joyfully celebrated for another seven days,

24. సమాజపు వారందరును చూచి నప్పుడు, మరి ఏడు దినములు పండుగ ఆచరింపవలెనని యోచనచేసికొని మరి ఏడు దినములు సంతోషముగా దాని ఆచరించిరి.

24. Hezekiah king of Judah contributing a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep for the congregation, and the officials another thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep. And a large number of priests sanctified themselves.

25. అప్పుడు యాజకులును లేవీయులును యూదావారిలోనుండియు ఇశ్రాయేలువారిలోనుండియు వచ్చిన సమాజపువారందరును, ఇశ్రాయేలు దేశములోనుండి వచ్చి యూదాలో కాపురమున్న అన్యులును సంతో షించిరి.

25. The whole congregation of Judah, the priests, the Levites, the whole congregation coming from Israel and the foreigners coming from the territory of Israel as well as those resident in Judah, rejoiced.

26. యెరూషలేము కాపురస్థులకు మిక్కిలి ఆనందము కలిగెను. ఇశ్రాయేలురాజును దావీదు కుమారుడునైన సొలొమోను కాలమునకు తరువాత ఈలాగున జరిగి యుండలేదు.

26. There was great rejoicing in Jerusalem, for since the days of Solomon son of David, king of Israel, nothing comparable had ever occurred in Jerusalem.

27. అప్పుడు లేవీయులైన యాజకులు లేచి జనులను దీవింపగా వారిమాటలు వినబడెను; వారి ప్రార్థన ఆకాశముననున్న పరిశుద్ధ నివాసమునకు చేరెను.

27. The levitical priests then stood up and blessed the people and their voice was heard, and their prayer reached his holy dwelling in heaven.
