1. సొలొమోను తాను చేయు ప్రార్థనను ముగించి నప్పుడు అగ్ని ఆకాశమునుండి దిగి దహనబలులను ఇతర మైన బలులను దహించెను; యెహోవా తేజస్సు మంది రమునిండ నిండెను,

1. Now, when Solomon had made an end of praying, Fire, came down out of the heavens, and consumed the ascending-offering and the sacrifices, and, the glory of Yahweh, filled the house;

2. యెహోవా తేజస్సుతో మందిరము నిండినందున యాజకులు అందులో ప్రవేశింపలేకయుండిరి.

2. so that the priests could not enter into the house of Yahweh, because the glory of Yahweh filled the house of Yahweh;

3. అగ్నియు యెహోవా తేజస్సును మందిరముమీదికి దిగగా చూచి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును సాష్టాంగనమస్కారము చేసియెహోవా దయాళుడు, ఆయన కృప నిరంతర ముండునని చెప్పి ఆయనను ఆరాధించి స్తుతించిరి.

3. and, all the sons of Israel, seeing the descending of the fire and the glory of Yahweh upon the house, then knelt they down with their faces toward the ground, upon the pavement, and bowed themselves in prostration, and gave thanks unto Yahweh, For he is good, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness.

4. రాజును జనులందరును యెహోవా ఎదుట బలులు అర్పించిరి.

4. And, the king and all the people, were offering sacrifice before Yahweh.

5. రాజైన సొలొమోను ఇరువది రెండువేల పశువులను లక్ష యిరువది వేల గొఱ్ఱెలను బలులుగా అర్పించెను; యాజకులు తమ తమ సేవాధర్మములలో నిలుచుచుండగను, లేవీయులు యెహోవా కృప నిరంతరము నిలుచుచున్నదని వారిచేత ఆయనను స్తుతించుటకై రాజైన దావీదు కల్పించిన యెహోవా గీతములను పాడుచు వాద్యములను వాయించుచు నిలుచుచుండగను, యాజకులు వారికి ఎదురుగా నిలిచి బూరలు ఊదుచుండగను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లందరును నిలిచియుండగను

5. And King Solomon offered a sacrifice of oxen, twenty-two thousand, and of sheep, a hundred and twenty thousand, and so the king and all the people, dedicated the house of God;

6. రాజును జనులందరును కూడి దేవుని మందిరమును ప్రతిష్ఠచేసిరి.

6. while, the priests, over their charges, were standing, the Levites also, with the instruments for the songs of Yahweh, which David the king had made, for giving thanks unto Yahweh, For, age-abiding, is his lovingkindness, when David offered praise by their means, and, the priests, kept on blowing trumpets over against them, while, all Israel, were standing.

7. మరియు తాను చేయించిన యిత్తడి బలిపీఠము దహన బలులకును నైవేద్యములకును క్రొవ్వుకును చాలనందున యెహోవా మందిరము ముంగిటనున్న నడిమి ఆవరణమును సొలొమోను ప్రతిష్ఠించి, అక్కడ దహనబలులను సమాధాన బలిపశువుల క్రొవ్వును అర్పించెను.

7. And Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of Yahweh, for he offered there the ascending-sacrifices, and the fat portions of the peace-offerings, because, the altar of bronze which Solomon had made, was not able to receive the ascending-sacrifice and the meal-offering and the fat portions.

8. ఆ సమయ మందు సొలొమోనును, అతనితో కూడ హమాతునకు పోవు మార్గము మొదలుకొని ఐగుప్తు నదివరకున్న దేశములో నుండి బహు గొప్ప సమూహముగా కూడివచ్చిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును ఏడు దినములు పండుగ ఆచరించి

8. And Solomon made a festival at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him, an exceeding great convocation, from the entering in of Hamath, unto the ravine of Egypt.

9. యెనిమిదవనాడు పండుగ ముగించిరి; ఏడు దినములు బలిపీఠమును ప్రతిష్ఠచేయుచు ఏడు దినములు పండుగ ఆచరించిరి.

9. And they made, on the eighth day, a closing feast, because, the dedication of the altar, they had kept seven days and a festival seven days.

10. ఏడవ నెల యిరువది మూడవ దినమందు దావీదునకును సొలొమోనునకును తన జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకును యెహోవా చేసిన మేలుల విషయమై సంతోషించుచును మనోత్సాహము నొందుచును, ఎవరి గుడారములకు వారు వెళ్లునట్లు అతడు జనులకు సెలవిచ్చి వారిని పంపివేసెను.

10. And, on the twenty-third of the seventh month, he sent the people away to their own homes, rejoicing and glad in heart, over the goodness which Yahweh had performed unto David and unto Solomon, and unto Israel his people.

11. ఆ ప్రకారము సొలొ మోను యెహోవా మందిరమును రాజనగరును కట్టించి, యెహోవా మందిరమందును తన నగరునందును చేయుటకు తాను ఆలోచించినదంతయు ఏ లోపము లేకుండ నెరవేర్చి పని ముగించెను.

11. Thus Solomon finished the house of Yahweh, and the house of the king, and, all that had come in upon the heart of Solomon, to do in the house of Yahweh and in his own house, he prosperously executed.

12. అప్పుడు యెహోవా రాత్రియందు సొలొమోనునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునేను నీ విన్నపము నంగీకరించి యీ స్థలమును నాకు బలులు అర్పించు మందిర ముగా కోరుకొంటిని.

12. Then appeared Yahweh unto Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard thy prayer, and have made choice of this place for myself, as a house of sacrifice:

13. వాన కురియకుండ నేను ఆకాశ మును మూసివేసినప్పుడే గాని, దేశమును నాశనము చేయు టకు మిడతలకు సెలవిచ్చినప్పుడే గాని, నా జనులమీదికి తెగులు రప్పించినప్పుడే గాని,

13. If I shut up the heavens that there be no rain, or if I lay command on the locust, to devour the land, or if I send pestilence, amongst my people:

14. నా పేరు పెట్టబడిన నా జనులు తమ్ముతాము తగ్గించుకొని ప్రార్థనచేసి నన్ను వెదకి తమ చెడుమార్గములను విడిచినయెడల, ఆకాశమునుండి నేను వారి ప్రార్థనను విని, వారి పాపమును క్షమించి, వారి దేశమును స్వస్థపరచుదును.

14. if my people upon whom my Name is called shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will, I myself, hear out of the heavens, and forgive their sin, and heal their land.

15. ఈ స్థలమందు చేయబడు ప్రార్థనమీద నా కనుదృష్టి నిలుచును, నా చెవులు దానిని ఆలకించును,

15. Now, mine eyes, shall be open, and, mine ears, attent, to the prayer of this place.

16. నా పేరు ఈ మందిరమునకు నిత్యము ఉండునట్లుగా నేను దాని కోరుకొని పరిశుద్ధపరచితిని, నా దృష్టియు నా మనస్సును నిత్యము దానిమీద నుండును.

16. Now, therefore, have I chosen and hallowed this house, that my Name may be there, unto times age-abiding, and mine eyes and my heart shall he there, all the days.

17. నీ తండ్రియైన దావీదు నడచినట్లుగా నీవును నా కనుకూల వర్తనుడవై నడచి, నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించిన దానియంతటి ప్రకారముచేసి, నా కట్టడలను నా న్యాయ విధులను అనుసరించినయెడల

17. Thou, therefore, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, even to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and, my statutes and regulations, thou wilt observe,

18. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఏలు టకు స్వసంతతివాడు ఒకడు నీకుండకపోడని నేను నీ తండ్రియైన దావీదుతో చేసియున్న నిబంధననుబట్టి నేను నీ రాజ్యసింహాసనమును స్థిరపరచుదును.

18. then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I covenanted to David thy father, saying There shall not fail thee a man, to rule over Israel.

19. అయితే మీరు త్రోవ తప్పి, నేను మీకు నియమించిన కట్టడలను ఆజ్ఞలను విడచి, యితర దేవతలను అనుసరించి వాటికి పూజానమ స్కారములు చేసిన యెడల

19. But, if, ye yourselves, shall turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and bow down to them,

20. నేను మీకిచ్చిన నా దేశ ములోనుండి మిమ్మును పెల్లగించి, నా నామమునకు నేను పరిశుద్ధపరచిన యీ మందిరమును నా సన్నిధినుండి తీసివేసి, సమస్త జనములలో దానిని సామెత కాస్పదముగాను నిందకాస్పదముగాను చేయుదును.

20. then will I root you out from off the soil, which I have given to you, and, this house, which I have hallowed for my Name, will I cast off from before my face, and will appoint it for a by-word and a mockery, among all the peoples;

21. అప్పుడు ప్రఖ్యాతి నొందిన యీ మందిరమార్గమున పోవు ప్రయాణస్థులందరును విస్మయమొందియెహోవా ఈ దేశమునకును ఈ మందిరమునకును ఎందుకు ఈ ప్రకారముగా చేసెనని యడుగగా

21. and, this house which hath been renowned, all that pass by near it, shall be astonished, and say, Wherefore hath Yahweh done, thus and thus, to this land, and to this house?

22. జనులుఈ దేశస్థులు తమ పితరులను ఐగుప్తు దేశమునుండి రప్పించిన తమ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను విసర్జించి యితర దేవతలను అనుసరించి వాటికి పూజానమ స్కారములు చేసినందున యెహోవా ఈ కీడంతయు వారి మీదికి రప్పించెనని ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెదరు.

22. And men shall say, Because they forsook Yahweh the God of their fathers, who brought them up out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold of other gods, and bowed down to them, and served them, for this cause, hath he brought upon them, all this calamity.
