1. సొలొమోను యెహోవా మందిరమును తన నగరును కట్టించిన యిరువది సంవత్సరముల కాలము తీరిన తరువాత

1. It took 20 years for King Solomon to build the Lord's Temple and the king's palace.

2. హీరాము తనకిచ్చిన పట్టణములను సొలొమోను కట్టించి వాటిలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను కాపురముంచెను.

2. Then Solomon rebuilt the towns that Hiram gave him and then moved Israelites into those towns to live there.

3. తరువాత సొలొమోను హమాతుసొబా అను స్థలమునకు పోయి దానిని పట్టుకొనెను.

3. After this Solomon went to Hamath of Zobah and captured it.

4. మరియు అరణ్య మందుండు తద్మోరుకును హమాతు దేశమందు ఖజానా ఉంచు పట్టణములన్నిటికిని ప్రాకారములను కట్టించెను.

4. He also built the town of Tadmor in the desert. He built all the towns in Hamath to store things in.

5. He rebuilt the towns of Upper Beth Horon and Lower Beth Horon. He made them into strong forts with strong walls, gates, and bars in the gates.

6. He also rebuilt the town of Baalath and all the other towns where he stored things. He built all the cities where the chariots were kept and the horse riders lived. Solomon built all he wanted in Jerusalem, Lebanon, and in all the country where he was king.

7. There were many people left in the land who were not Israelites. There were Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. The Israelites had not been able to destroy them, but Solomon forced them to work for him as slaves. They are still slaves today.

8. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులు నాశనముచేయక వదలివేసిన ఆ యా జనుల సంతతి వారిని సొలొమోను నేటివరకును తనకు వెట్టిపనులు చేయువారినిగా చేసికొనియుండెను.

9. Solomon did not force any of the Israelites to be his slaves. They were soldiers, government officials, officers, captains, and chariot commanders and drivers.

10. వీరిలో శ్రేష్ఠులైన రెండువందల ఏబదిమంది రాజైన సొలొమోను క్రింద అధిపతులై ప్రజలమీద అధికారులై యుండిరి.

10. There were 250 supervisors over Solomon's projects. They supervised the men.

11. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల రాజైన దావీదు నగరునందు నా భార్య నివాసముచేయవలదు, యెహోవా మందసమున్న స్థలములు ప్రతిష్ఠితములు అని చెప్పి, సొలొమోను ఫరోకుమార్తెను దావీదు పట్టణమునుండి తాను ఆమెకొరకు కట్టించిన నగరునకు రప్పించెను.

11. Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the City of David to the house he built for her. He said, 'My wife must not live in King David's palace because the places where the Box of the Agreement has been are holy places.'

12. అది మొదలుకొని సొలొమోను తాను మంటపము ఎదుట కట్టించిన యెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద దహనబలులు అర్పించుచు వచ్చెను. అతడు అనుదిన నిర్ణయముచొప్పున

12. Then Solomon offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the Lord's altar. He built that altar in front of the Temple porch.

13. మోషే యిచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞనుబట్టి విశ్రాంతి దినములయందును, అమావాస్యలయందును, నియామక కాలములయందును, సంవత్సరమునకు ముమ్మారుజరుగు పండుగలయందును, అనగా పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగయందును వారముల పండుగయందును పర్ణశాలల పండుగయందును యెహోవాకు దహనబలులు అర్పించుచు వచ్చెను.

13. Solomon offered sacrifices every day the way Moses commanded. Sacrifices were to be offered on Sabbath days, during New Moon celebrations, and at the three yearly festivals. The three yearly festivals were the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks, and the Festival of Shelters.

14. Solomon followed his father David's instructions. He chose the groups of priests for their service and the Levites for their duties. The Levites were to lead the praise and help the priests from day to day to do what needed to be done in the Temple service. And he chose the gatekeepers by their groups to serve at each gate. This is the way David, the man of God, instructed.

15. ఏ విషయమును గూర్చియేగాని బొక్కసములను గూర్చియే గాని రాజు యాజకులకును లేవీయులకును చేసియున్న నిర్ణ యమును బట్టి వారు సమస్తమును జరుపుచువచ్చిరి

15. The Israelites did not change or disobey any of Solomon's instructions to the priests and Levites. They did not change any of the instructions, even in the way they should keep the valuable things.

16. యెహోవా మందిరమునకు పునాదివేసిన దినము మొదలుకొని అది సంపూర్ణమగువరకు సొలొమోను పని యంతయు చేయించెను; అప్పుడు యెహోవా మందిరము సమాప్త మాయెను.

16. So Solomon completed his work on the Lord's Temple. Work began the day they laid the foundation and continued without stopping until the day the Temple was finished.

17. సొలొమోను ఎదోము దేశముయొక్క సముద్రపు దరినున్న ఎసోన్గెబెరునకును ఏలతునకును పోగా

17. King Solomon also built ships at Ezion Geber. This town is near Elath on the shore of the Red Sea, in the land of Edom.

18. హీరాము తన పనివారిద్వారా ఓడలను ఓడ నడుపుటయందు యుక్తి గల పనివారిని పంపెను. వీరు సొలొమోను పనివారితో కూడ ఓఫీరునకు పోయి అక్కడనుండి తొమ్మిదివందల మణుగుల బంగారమును ఎక్కించుకొని రాజైన సొలొమోను నొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

18. Hiram sent ships to Solomon. Hiram's own men sailed the ships. They were skilled at sailing on the sea. His men went with Solomon's servants to Ophir and brought back 17 tons of gold to King Solomon.
