1. నా బ్రదుకునందు నాకు విసుకు పుట్టినది నేను అడ్డులేకుండ అంగలార్చెదను నా మనోవ్యాకులము కొలది నేను పలికెదను

1. My soule is cut off though I liue: I wil leaue my complaint vpon my selfe, and wil speake in the bitternesse of my soule.

2. నా మీద నేరము మోపకుండుము నీవేల నాతో వ్యాజ్యెమాడుచున్నావో నాకు తెలియ జేయుమని నేను దేవునితో చెప్పెదను.

2. I will say vnto God, Condemne mee not: shew me, wherefore thou contendest with mee.

3. దౌర్జన్యము చేయుట నీకు సంతోషమా? దుష్టుల ఆలోచనమీద దయా దృష్టియుంచుటసంతోషమా? నీ హస్తకృత్యములను తృణీకరించుట నీకు సంతోషమా?

3. Thinkest thou it good to oppresse me, and to cast off the labour of thine handes, and to fauour the counsel of the wicked?

4. నీ నేత్రములు నరుల నేత్రములవంటివా? నరులు ఆలోచించునట్లు నీవు ఆలోచించువాడవా?

4. Hast thou carnall eyes? or doest thou see as man seeth?

5. నీ జీవితకాలము నరుల జీవిత కాలమువంటిదా? నీ ఆయుష్కాల సంవత్సరములు నరుల దినములవంటివా?

5. Are thy dayes as mans dayes? or thy yeres, as the time of man,

6. నేను దోషిని కాననియునీ చేతిలోనుండి విడిపింపగలవాడెవడును లేడనియు నీవు ఎరిగియుండియు

6. That thou inquirest of mine iniquitie, and searchest out my sinne?

7. నీవేల నా దోషమునుగూర్చి విచారణ చేయుచున్నావు? నా పాపమును ఏల వెదకుచున్నావు?

7. Thou knowest that I can not do wickedly: for none can deliuer me out of thine hand.

8. నీ హస్తములు నాకు అవయవ నిర్మాణముచేసి నన్ను రూపించి యున్ననునీవు నన్ను మింగివేయుచున్నావు.

8. Thine handes haue made me, and fashioned mee wholy rounde about, and wilt thou destroy me?

9. జిగటమన్నుగానున్న నన్ను నీవు నిర్మించితివి, ఆ సంగతి జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుమునీవు నన్ను మరల మన్నుగా చేయుదువా?

9. Remember, I pray thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and wilt thou bring me into dust againe?

10. ఒకడు పాలుపోసినట్లు నీవు నన్ను పోసితివిగదా జున్నుగడ్డ ఒకడు పేరబెట్టునట్లు నీవు నన్ను పేరబెట్టితివి గదా.

10. Hast thou not powred me out as milke? and turned me to cruds like cheese?

11. చర్మముతోను మాంసముతోను నీవు నన్ను కప్పితివి ఎముకలతోను నరములతోను నన్ను సంధించితివి.

11. Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and ioyned me together with bones and sinewes.

12. జీవము ననుగ్రహించి నాయెడల కృప చూపితివి నీ సంరక్షణచేత నా ఆత్మను కాపాడితివి.

12. Thou hast giuen me life, and grace: and thy visitation hath preserued my spirit.

13. అయినను నా లోపములనుగూర్చి నీవు నీ హృదయములో ఆలోచించితివిఈ అభిప్రాయము నీకుండెనని నేనెరుగుదును.

13. Though thou hast hid these things in thine heart, yet I knowe that it is so with thee.

14. నేను పాపము చేసినయెడల నీవు దాని కనిపెట్టుదువునా దోషమునకు పరిహారము చేయకుందువు.

14. If I haue sinned, then thou wilt streightly looke vnto me, and wilt not holde mee giltlesse of mine iniquitie.

15. నేను దోషకృత్యములు చేసినయెడల నాకు బాధకలుగును నేను నిర్దోషినై యుండినను అతిశయపడను అవమానముతో నిండుకొని నాకు కలిగిన బాధను తలంచుకొనుచుండెదను.

15. If I haue done wickedly, wo vnto me: if I haue done righteously, I will not lift vp mine head, being full of confusion, because I see mine affliction.

16. ­నేను సంతోషించినయెడల ఎడతెగక నీ ఆశ్చర్యమైన బలమును నీవు నామీద చూపుదువు.

16. But let it increase: hunt thou me as a lyon: returne and shew thy selfe marueilous vpon me.

17. సింహము వేటాడునట్లు నీవు నన్ను వేటాడుచుందువుఎడతెగక నామీదికి క్రొత్త సాక్షులను పిలిచెదవు ఎడతెగక నామీద నీ ఉగ్రతను పెంచెదవు ఎడతెగక సమూహము వెనుక సమూహమును నా మీదికి రాజేసెదవు.

17. Thou renuest thy plagues against me, and thou increasest thy wrath against me: changes and armies of sorowes are against me.

18. గర్భములోనుండి నీవు నన్నేల వెలికి రప్పించితివి? అప్పుడే యెవరును నన్ను చూడకుండ నేను ప్రాణము విడిచి యుండినయెడల మేలు;

18. Wherfore then hast thou brought me out of the wombe? Oh that I had perished, and that none eye had seene me!

19. అప్పుడు నేను లేనట్లే యుండియుందును గర్భములోనుండి సమాధికి కొనిపోబడియుందును.

19. And that I were as I had not bene, but brought from the wombe to the graue!

20. నా దినములు కొంచెమే గదాతిరిగి వెలుపలికి రాజాలని దేశమునకు

20. Are not my dayes fewe? let him cease, and leaue off from me, that I may take a litle comfort,

21. అంధకారము మరణాంధకారముగల దేశమునకు

21. Before I goe and shall not returne, euen to the land of darkenesse and shadow of death:

22. కటికచీకటియై గాఢాంధకారమయమైన దేశమునకుభ్రమ పుట్టించు మరణాంధకార దేశమునకు వెలుగే చీకటిగాగల దేశమునకు నేను వెళ్లక ముందుకొంతసేపు నేను తెప్పరిల్లునట్లు నన్ను విడిచి నా జోలికి రాకుండుము.

22. Into a land, I say, darke as darknes it selfe, and into the shadow of death, where is none order, but the light is there as darkenesse.
