1. యోబు ఇంకను ఉపమానరీతిగా ఇట్లనెను

1. And Job continued the uplifting of his discourse, and said:

2. నా ఊపిరి యింకను నాలో పూర్ణముగా ఉండుటను బట్టియు దేవుని ఆత్మ నా నాసికారంధ్రములలో ఉండుటనుబట్టియు

2. As God lives, He has taken away my judgment; yea, the Almighty has made my soul bitter.

3. నా న్యాయమును పోగొట్టిన దేవుని జీవముతోడు నా ప్రాణమును వ్యాకులపరచిన సర్వశక్తునితోడు

3. As long as my breath is in me, and the Spirit of God is in my nostrils,

4. నిశ్చయముగా నా పెదవులు అబద్ధము పలుకుటలేదు నా నాలుక మోసము నుచ్చరించుటలేదు.

4. my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

5. మీరు చెప్పినది న్యాయమని నేనేమాత్రమును ఒప్పు కొననుమరణమగువరకు నేనెంతమాత్రమును యథార్థతను విడువను.

5. Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die, I shall not retract my integrity from me.

6. నా నీతిని విడువక గట్టిగా పట్టుకొందును నా ప్రవర్తన అంతటి విషయములో నా హృదయమునన్ను నిందింపదు.

6. I hold fast by my righteousness, and I will not abandon it; my heart shall not shame me any of my days.

7. నాకు శత్రువులైనవారు దుష్టులుగా కనబడుదురు గాక నన్నెదిరించువారు నీతిలేనివారుగా కనబడుదురు గాక.

7. Let my enemy be like the wicked and he who rises against me as the perverse.

8. దేవుడు వాని కొట్టివేయునప్పుడు వాని ప్రాణము తీసివేయునప్పుడు భక్తిహీనునికి ఆధారమేది?

8. For what is the hope of the ungodly when He cuts off, when God pulls out his soul?

9. వానికి బాధ కలుగునప్పుడు దేవుడు వాని మొఱ్ఱ వినువా?

9. Will God hear his cry when distress comes upon him?

10. వాడు సర్వశక్తునియందు ఆనందించునా? వాడు అన్ని సమయములలో దేవునికి ప్రార్థన చేయునా?

10. Will he delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at every time?

11. దేవుని హస్తమును గూర్చి నేను మీకు ఉపదేశించెదను సర్వశక్తుడు చేయు క్రియలను నేను దాచిపెట్టను.

11. I will teach you by the hand of God; that which is with the Almighty I will not hide.

12. మీలో ప్రతివాడు దాని చూచియున్నాడు మీరెందుకు కేవలము వ్యర్థమైనవాటిని భావించు చుందురు?

12. Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; when then do you become vain with this vanity?

13. దేవునివలన భక్తిహీనులకు నియమింపబడిన భాగము ఇది ఇది బాధించువారు సర్వశక్తునివలన పొందు స్వాస్థ్యము

13. This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the inheritance of ruthless men that they shall receive from the Almighty.

14. వారి పిల్లలు విస్తరించినయెడల అది ఖడ్గముచేత పడు టకే గదా వారి సంతానమునకు చాలినంత ఆహారము దొరకదు.

14. If his sons become numerous, the sword is for them; and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

15. వారికి మిగిలినవారు తెగులువలన చచ్చి పాతిపెట్ట బడెదరు వారి విధవరాండ్రు రోదనము చేయకుండిరి.

15. Those remaining of him shall be buried in death, and his widows shall not weep.

16. ధూళి అంత విస్తారముగా వారు వెండిని పోగుచేసినను జిగటమన్నంత విస్తారముగా వస్త్రములను సిద్ధ పరచుకొనినను

16. Though he heaps up silver like the dust, and prepares clothing like the clay;

17. వారు దాని సిద్ధపరచుకొనుటయే గాని నీతిమంతులు దాని కట్టుకొనెదరు నిరపరాధులు ఆ వెండిని పంచుకొనెదరు.

17. he may prepare, but the just shall put it on; and the innocent shall divide the silver.

18. పురుగుల గూళ్లవంటి యిండ్లు వారు కట్టుకొందురు కావలివాడు కట్టుకొను గుడిసెవంటి యిండ్లు వారు కట్టుకొందురు.

18. He builds his house like a moth, and like a booth that a watchman makes.

19. వారు ధనముగలవారై పండుకొందురు గాని మరల లేవరు కన్నులు తెరవగానే లేకపోవుదురు.

19. The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered; he opens his eyes, and he is not.

20. భయములు జలప్రవాహములవలె వారిని తరిమి పట్టు కొనును రాత్రివేళ తుఫాను వారిని ఎత్తికొనిపోవును.

20. Fears shall overtake him like waters; a tempest steals him away in the night.

21. తూర్పుగాలి వారిని కొనిపోగా వారు సమసి పోవు దురు అది వారి స్థలములోనుండి వారిని ఊడ్చివేయును

21. The east wind lifts him up and he is gone; for it whirls him out of his place.

22. ఏమియు కరుణ చూపకుండ దేవుడు వారిమీద బాణములు వేయును వారు ఆయన చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనగోరి ఇటు అటు పారిపోవుదురు.

22. For it will hurl at him, and will not spare; from its hand fleeing he will flee.

23. మనుష్యులు వారిని చూచి చప్పట్లు కొట్టుదురు వారి స్థలములోనుండి వారిని చీకొట్టి తోలివేయుదురు.

23. He shall clap His hands at him, and shall hiss him from his place.
