1. యోబు ఇంకను ఉపమానరీతిగా ఇట్లనెను

1. And Job(Iob also) proceeded and went(wete) forth in his communication, saying:

2. నా ఊపిరి యింకను నాలో పూర్ణముగా ఉండుటను బట్టియు దేవుని ఆత్మ నా నాసికారంధ్రములలో ఉండుటనుబట్టియు

2. As truly as God liveth (which hath taken away my power from me) and the Almighty, that hath vexed my mind:

3. నా న్యాయమును పోగొట్టిన దేవుని జీవముతోడు నా ప్రాణమును వ్యాకులపరచిన సర్వశక్తునితోడు

3. My lips shall talk of no vanity, and my tongue shall speak no deceit,

4. నిశ్చయముగా నా పెదవులు అబద్ధము పలుకుటలేదు నా నాలుక మోసము నుచ్చరించుటలేదు.

4. while my breath is in me, and as long as the wind (that God hath given me) is in my nostrils.

5. మీరు చెప్పినది న్యాయమని నేనేమాత్రమును ఒప్పు కొననుమరణమగువరకు నేనెంతమాత్రమును యథార్థతను విడువను.

5. God forbid, that I should grant your cause to be right. As for me, until mine end come will I never go from my innocency.

6. నా నీతిని విడువక గట్టిగా పట్టుకొందును నా ప్రవర్తన అంతటి విషయములో నా హృదయమునన్ను నిందింపదు.

6. My righteous dealing keep I fast, which I will not forsake: my heart shall not reprove me of my days.(My rightuous dealynge wil I kepe fast, & not forsake it: For my conscience reproueth me not in all my conuersacion.)

7. నాకు శత్రువులైనవారు దుష్టులుగా కనబడుదురు గాక నన్నెదిరించువారు నీతిలేనివారుగా కనబడుదురు గాక.

7. Therefore mine enemy shall be found as the ungodly, and he that taketh part against me, as the unrighteous.

8. దేవుడు వాని కొట్టివేయునప్పుడు వాని ప్రాణము తీసివేయునప్పుడు భక్తిహీనునికి ఆధారమేది?

8. What hope hath the hypocrite, though he have great good, and though God give him riches after his heart's desire?

9. వానికి బాధ కలుగునప్పుడు దేవుడు వాని మొఱ్ఱ వినువా?

9. Doth God hear him the sooner, when he crieth unto him in his necessity?

10. వాడు సర్వశక్తునియందు ఆనందించునా? వాడు అన్ని సమయములలో దేవునికి ప్రార్థన చేయునా?

10. Hath he such pleasure and delight in the Almighty, that he dare alway call upon God?

11. దేవుని హస్తమును గూర్చి నేను మీకు ఉపదేశించెదను సర్వశక్తుడు చేయు క్రియలను నేను దాచిపెట్టను.

11. I will teach you in the name of God? and the thing that I have of the Almighty, will I not keep from you.

12. మీలో ప్రతివాడు దాని చూచియున్నాడు మీరెందుకు కేవలము వ్యర్థమైనవాటిని భావించు చుందురు?

12. Behold, ye stand in your own conceit, as though ye knew all things. Wherefore then do ye go about with such vain words,

13. దేవునివలన భక్తిహీనులకు నియమింపబడిన భాగము ఇది ఇది బాధించువారు సర్వశక్తునివలన పొందు స్వాస్థ్యము

13. saying: This is that portion that the wicked shall have of God, and the heritage that Tyrants shall receive of the Almighty.

14. వారి పిల్లలు విస్తరించినయెడల అది ఖడ్గముచేత పడు టకే గదా వారి సంతానమునకు చాలినంత ఆహారము దొరకదు.

14. If he get many children, they shall perish with the sword, and his posterity shall have scarceness of bread.

15. వారికి మిగిలినవారు తెగులువలన చచ్చి పాతిపెట్ట బడెదరు వారి విధవరాండ్రు రోదనము చేయకుండిరి.

15. Look whom he leaveth behind him, they shall die and be buried, and no man shall have pity of his widows.

16. ధూళి అంత విస్తారముగా వారు వెండిని పోగుచేసినను జిగటమన్నంత విస్తారముగా వస్త్రములను సిద్ధ పరచుకొనినను

16. Though he have as much money as the dust of the earth, and raiment as ready as the clay,

17. వారు దాని సిద్ధపరచుకొనుటయే గాని నీతిమంతులు దాని కట్టుకొనెదరు నిరపరాధులు ఆ వెండిని పంచుకొనెదరు.

17. he may well prepare it: but the godly shall put it upon him, and the innocent shall deal out the money.

18. పురుగుల గూళ్లవంటి యిండ్లు వారు కట్టుకొందురు కావలివాడు కట్టుకొను గుడిసెవంటి యిండ్లు వారు కట్టుకొందురు.

18. His house shall endure as the moth, and as a booth that the watchman maketh.

19. వారు ధనముగలవారై పండుకొందురు గాని మరల లేవరు కన్నులు తెరవగానే లేకపోవుదురు.

19. When the rich man dieth, he carrieth nothing with him: he is gone in the twinkling of an eye.

20. భయములు జలప్రవాహములవలె వారిని తరిమి పట్టు కొనును రాత్రివేళ తుఫాను వారిని ఎత్తికొనిపోవును.

20. Destruction taketh hold upon him as a water flood, and the tempest stealeth him away in the night season.

21. తూర్పుగాలి వారిని కొనిపోగా వారు సమసి పోవు దురు అది వారి స్థలములోనుండి వారిని ఊడ్చివేయును

21. A vehement wind carrieth him hence, and departeth: a storm plucketh him out of his place.

22. ఏమియు కరుణ చూపకుండ దేవుడు వారిమీద బాణములు వేయును వారు ఆయన చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనగోరి ఇటు అటు పారిపోవుదురు.

22. It rusheth in upon him, and spareth him not, he may not escape from the power thereof.

23. మనుష్యులు వారిని చూచి చప్పట్లు కొట్టుదురు వారి స్థలములోనుండి వారిని చీకొట్టి తోలివేయుదురు.

23. Then clap men their hands at him, yea and jest of him, when they look upon his place.
