1. యోబు ఇంకను ఉపమానరీతిగా ఇట్లనెను

1. And Job further continued and said in his discourse,

2. నా ఊపిరి యింకను నాలో పూర్ణముగా ఉండుటను బట్టియు దేవుని ఆత్మ నా నాసికారంధ్రములలో ఉండుటనుబట్టియు

2. As God lives, who has thus judged me; and the Almighty, who has embittered my soul;

3. నా న్యాయమును పోగొట్టిన దేవుని జీవముతోడు నా ప్రాణమును వ్యాకులపరచిన సర్వశక్తునితోడు

3. verily, while my breath is yet in me, and the breath of God which remains to me is in my nostrils,

4. నిశ్చయముగా నా పెదవులు అబద్ధము పలుకుటలేదు నా నాలుక మోసము నుచ్చరించుటలేదు.

4. my lips shall not speak evil words, neither shall my soul meditate unrighteous thoughts.

5. మీరు చెప్పినది న్యాయమని నేనేమాత్రమును ఒప్పు కొననుమరణమగువరకు నేనెంతమాత్రమును యథార్థతను విడువను.

5. Far be it from me that I should justify you till I die! For I will not let go my innocence,

6. నా నీతిని విడువక గట్టిగా పట్టుకొందును నా ప్రవర్తన అంతటి విషయములో నా హృదయమునన్ను నిందింపదు.

6. but keeping fast to my righteousness, I will by no means let it go: for I am not conscious to myself of having done anything amiss.

7. నాకు శత్రువులైనవారు దుష్టులుగా కనబడుదురు గాక నన్నెదిరించువారు నీతిలేనివారుగా కనబడుదురు గాక.

7. But on the contrary, let my enemies be as the overthrow of the ungodly, and they that rise up against me as the destruction of transgressors.

8. దేవుడు వాని కొట్టివేయునప్పుడు వాని ప్రాణము తీసివేయునప్పుడు భక్తిహీనునికి ఆధారమేది?

8. For what is the hope of the ungodly, that he holds to it? Will he indeed trust in the Lord and be saved?

9. వానికి బాధ కలుగునప్పుడు దేవుడు వాని మొఱ్ఱ వినువా?

9. Will God hear his prayer? Or when distress has come upon him,

10. వాడు సర్వశక్తునియందు ఆనందించునా? వాడు అన్ని సమయములలో దేవునికి ప్రార్థన చేయునా?

10. has he any confidence before Him? Or will [God] hear him as he calls upon Him?

11. దేవుని హస్తమును గూర్చి నేను మీకు ఉపదేశించెదను సర్వశక్తుడు చేయు క్రియలను నేను దాచిపెట్టను.

11. Yet now I will tell you what is in the hand of the Lord: I will not lie concerning the things which are with the Almighty.

12. మీలో ప్రతివాడు దాని చూచియున్నాడు మీరెందుకు కేవలము వ్యర్థమైనవాటిని భావించు చుందురు?

12. Behold, you all know that you are adding vanity to vanity.

13. దేవునివలన భక్తిహీనులకు నియమింపబడిన భాగము ఇది ఇది బాధించువారు సర్వశక్తునివలన పొందు స్వాస్థ్యము

13. This is the portion of an ungodly man from the Lord, and the possession of oppressors shall come upon them from the Almighty.

14. వారి పిల్లలు విస్తరించినయెడల అది ఖడ్గముచేత పడు టకే గదా వారి సంతానమునకు చాలినంత ఆహారము దొరకదు.

14. And if their children are many, they shall be for slaughter: and if they grow up, they shall beg.

15. వారికి మిగిలినవారు తెగులువలన చచ్చి పాతిపెట్ట బడెదరు వారి విధవరాండ్రు రోదనము చేయకుండిరి.

15. And they that survive of him shall utterly perish, and no one shall pity their widows.

16. ధూళి అంత విస్తారముగా వారు వెండిని పోగుచేసినను జిగటమన్నంత విస్తారముగా వస్త్రములను సిద్ధ పరచుకొనినను

16. Even if he should gather silver as dust, and prepare gold as clay,

17. వారు దాని సిద్ధపరచుకొనుటయే గాని నీతిమంతులు దాని కట్టుకొనెదరు నిరపరాధులు ఆ వెండిని పంచుకొనెదరు.

17. all these things shall the righteous gain, and the true-hearted shall possess His wealth.

18. పురుగుల గూళ్లవంటి యిండ్లు వారు కట్టుకొందురు కావలివాడు కట్టుకొను గుడిసెవంటి యిండ్లు వారు కట్టుకొందురు.

18. And his house is gone like moths, and like a spider's web.

19. వారు ధనముగలవారై పండుకొందురు గాని మరల లేవరు కన్నులు తెరవగానే లేకపోవుదురు.

19. The rich man shall lie down, and shall not continue: he has opened his eyes, and he is no more.

20. భయములు జలప్రవాహములవలె వారిని తరిమి పట్టు కొనును రాత్రివేళ తుఫాను వారిని ఎత్తికొనిపోవును.

20. Pains have come upon him as water, and darkness has carried him away by night.

21. తూర్పుగాలి వారిని కొనిపోగా వారు సమసి పోవు దురు అది వారి స్థలములోనుండి వారిని ఊడ్చివేయును

21. And a burning wind shall catch him, and he shall depart, and it shall utterly drive him out of his place.

22. ఏమియు కరుణ చూపకుండ దేవుడు వారిమీద బాణములు వేయును వారు ఆయన చేతిలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనగోరి ఇటు అటు పారిపోవుదురు.

22. And [God] shall cast [trouble] upon him, and not spare: he flees desperately from out of His hand.

23. మనుష్యులు వారిని చూచి చప్పట్లు కొట్టుదురు వారి స్థలములోనుండి వారిని చీకొట్టి తోలివేయుదురు.

23. He shall cause [men] to clap their hands against them, and shall hiss him out of his place.
