1. దీనినిబట్టి నా హృదయము వణకుచున్నదిదాని స్థలములోనుండి అది కదలింపబడుచున్నది.

1. INDEED, [at His thunderings] my heart also trembles and leaps out of its place.

2. ఆయన స్వరగర్జనమును వినుడి ఆయన నోటనుండి బయలువెళ్లు ధ్వని నాలకించుడి.

2. Hear, oh, hear the roar of His voice and the sound of rumbling that goes out of His mouth!

3. ఆకాశవైశాల్యమంతటి క్రింద ఆయనదాని వినిపించును భూమ్యంతములవరకు తన మెరుపును కనబడజేయును.

3. Under the whole heaven He lets it loose, and His lightning to the ends of the earth.

4. దాని తరువాత ఉరుముధ్వని గర్జించును ఆయన తన గంభీరమైన స్వరముతో గర్జించును ఆయన ధ్వని వినబడునప్పుడు ఆయన మెరుపును నిలిపివేయడు

4. After it His voice roars; He thunders with the voice of His majesty, and He restrains not [His lightnings against His adversaries] when His voice is heard.

5. దేవుడు ఆశ్చర్యముగా ఉరుముధ్వని చేయును మనము గ్రహింపలేని గొప్పకార్యములను ఆయన చేయును.

5. God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.

6. నీవు భూమిమీద పడుమని హిమముతోను వర్షముతోను మహా వర్షముతోను ఆయన ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చుచున్నాడు.

6. For He says to the snow, Fall on the earth; likewise He speaks to the showers and to the downpour of His mighty rains.

7. మనుష్యులందరు ఆయన సృష్టికార్యమును తెలిసికొనునట్లు ప్రతి మనుష్యుని చేతినిబిగించి ఆయన ముద్రవేసి యున్నాడు.

7. God seals up (stops, brings to a standstill by severe weather) the hand of every man [and now under His seal their hands are forced to inactivity], that all men whom He has made may know His doings (His sovereign power and their subjection to it).

8. జంతువులు వాటి వాటి గుహలలో చొచ్చి వాటి వాటి బిలములలో వసించును.

8. Then the beasts go into dens and remain in their lairs.

9. మరుగుస్థానములోనుండి తుఫాను వచ్చును ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి చలి వచ్చును

9. Out of its chamber comes the whirlwind, and cold from the scattering winds.

10. దేవుని ఊపిరివలన మంచు పుట్టును జలముల పైభాగమంతయు గట్టిపడును.

10. By the breath of God ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is frozen over. [Ps. 147:17, 18.]

11. మరియు ఆయన దట్టమైన మేఘమును జలముతో నింపును తన మెరుపుగల మేఘమును వ్యాపింపజేయును.

11. He loads the thick cloud with moisture; He scatters the cloud of His lightning.

12. ఆయనవలన నడిపింపబడినవై నరులకు నివాసయోగ్య మైన భూగోళము మీద మెరుపును మేఘములును సంచారము చేయును ఆయన వాటికి ఆజ్ఞాపించునది యావత్తును అవి నెరవేర్చును

12. And it is turned round about by His guidance, that they may do whatever He commands them upon the face of the habitable earth.

13. శిక్షకొరకే గాని తన భూలోకముకొరకే గాని కృప చేయుటకే గాని ఆయన ఆజ్ఞాపించినదానిని అవి నెరవేర్చును.

13. Whether it be for correction or for His earth [generally] or for His mercy and loving-kindness, He causes it to come. [Exod. 9:18, 23; I Sam. 12:18, 19.]

14. యోబూ, ఈ మాట ఆలకింపుము ఊరకుండి దేవుని అద్భుతక్రియలను ఆలోచింపుము.

14. Hear this, O Job; stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.

15. దేవుడు తన మేఘపు మెరుపు ప్రకాశింపవలెనని యెట్లు తీర్మానముచేయునో నీకు తెలియునా?

15. Do you know how God lays His command upon them and causes the lightning of His [storm] cloud to shine?

16. మేఘములను తేలచేయుటయు పరిపూర్ణజ్ఞానము గలవాని మహా కార్యములును నీకు తెలియునా?

16. Do you know how the clouds are balanced [and poised in the heavens], the wonderful works of Him Who is perfect in knowledge?

17. దక్షిణపుగాలి వీచుటచేత ఉబ్బవేయునప్పుడు నీ వస్త్రములెట్లు వెచ్చబడినది నీకు తెలియునా?

17. [Or] why your garments are hot when He quiets the earth [in sultry summer] with the [oppressive] south wind?

18. పోతపోసిన అద్దమంత దట్టమైనదగు ఆకాశమును ఆయన వ్యాపింపజేసినట్లు నీవు వ్యాపింపజేయగలవా?

18. Can you along with Him spread out the sky, [which is] strong as a molten mirror?

19. మేము ఆయనతో ఏమి పలుకవలెనో అది మాకు తెలుపుము. చీకటి కలిగినందున మాకేమియు తోచక యున్నది

19. Tell us [Job] with what words of man we may address such a Being; we cannot state our case because we are in the dark [in the presence of the unsearchable God].

20. నేను పలుకుదునని యెవడైన ఆయనతో చెప్పదగునా? ఒకడు తాను నిర్మూలము కావలెనని కోరునా?

20. So shall it be told Him that I wish to speak? If a man speaks, shall he be swallowed up?

21. ఉన్నతమైన మేఘములలో ప్రకాశించు ఎండ యిప్పుడు కనబడకయున్నను గాలి మేఘములను పోగొట్టి దాని తేటగా కనుపరచును.

21. And now men cannot look upon the light when it is bright in the skies, when the wind has passed and cleared them.

22. ఉత్తరదిక్కున సువర్ణప్రకాశము పుట్టును దేవుడు భీకరమైన మహిమను ధరించుకొని యున్నాడు.

22. Golden brightness and splendor come out of the north; [if men can scarcely look upon it, how much less upon the] terrible splendor and majesty God has upon Himself!

23. సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవుడు మహాత్మ్యముగలవాడు. ఆయన మనకు అగోచరుడు. న్యాయమును నీతిని ఆయన ఏమాత్రమును చెరుపడు. అందువలన నరులు ఆయనయందు భయభక్తులు కలిగియుందురు.

23. Touching the Almighty, we cannot find Him out; He is excellent in power; and to justice and plenteous righteousness He does no violence [He will disregard no right]. [I Tim. 6:16.]

24. తాము జ్ఞానులమనుకొనువారిని ఆయన ఏమాత్రమును లక్ష్యపెట్టడు.

24. Men therefore [reverently] fear Him; He regards and respects not any who are wise in heart [in their own understanding and conceit]. [Matt. 10:28.]
