1. నీవు మకరమును గాలముతో బయటికి లాగగలవా?దాని నాలుకకు త్రాడువేసి లాగగలవా?

1. [ 40:20] But will you catch the serpent with a hook, and put a halter about his nose?

2. నీవు దాని ముక్కుగుండ సూత్రము వేయగలవా? దాని దవడకు గాలము ఎక్కింపగలవా?

2. [ 40:21] Or will you fasten a ring in his nostril, and bore his lip with a clasp?

3. అది నీతో విన్నపములు చేయునా? మృదువైన మాటలు నీతో పలుకునా?

3. [ 40:22] Will he address you with a petition? Softly, with the voice of a suppliant?

4. నీవు శాశ్వతముగా దానిని దాసునిగా చేసికొనునట్లు అది నీతో నిబంధనచేయునా?

4. [ 40:23] And will he make a covenant with you? And will you take him for a perpetual servant?

5. నీవు ఒక పిట్టతో ఆటలాడునట్లు దానితో ఆట లాడెదవా? నీ కన్యకలు ఆడుకొనుటకై దాని కట్టివేసెదవా?

5. [ 40:24] And will you play with him as with a bird? Or bind him as a sparrow for a child?

6. బెస్తవారు దానితో వ్యాపారము చేయుదురా? వారు దానిని తునకలు చేసి వర్తకులతో వ్యాపారము చేయుదురా?

6. [ 40:25] And do the nations feed upon him, and the nations of the Phoenicians share him?

7. దాని ఒంటినిండ ఇనుప శూలములు గుచ్చగలవా? దాని తలనిండ చేప అలుగులు గుచ్చగలవా?

7. [ 40:26] And all the ships come together would not be able to bear the mere skin of his tail, neither [shall they carry] his head in fishing vessels.

8. దానిమీద నీ చెయ్యి వేసి చూడుము దానితో కలుగు పోరు నీవు జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనిన యెడల నీవు మరల ఆలాగున చేయకుందువు.

8. [ 40:27] But you shall lay your hand upon him once, remembering the war that is waged by his mouth; and let it not be done anymore.

9. దాని చూచినప్పుడు మనుష్యులు దానిని వశపరచు కొందుమన్న ఆశ విడిచెదరు దాని పొడ చూచిన మాత్రముచేతనే యెవరికైనను గుండెలు అవిసిపోవును గదా.

9. [ 41:0] Have you not seen him? And have you not wondered at the things said [of him]?

10. దాని రేపుటకైనను తెగింపగల శూరుడు లేడు. అట్లుండగా నా యెదుట నిలువగలవాడెవడు?

10. [ 41:1] Do you not fear because preparation has been made by Me? For who is there that resists Me?

11. నేను తిరిగి ఇయ్యవలసి యుండునట్లు నాకెవడైనను ఏమైనను ఇచ్చెనా? ఆకాశవైశాల్యమంతటి క్రింద నున్నదంతయు నాదే గదా

11. [ 41:2] Or who will resist Me, and stand their ground, since the whole world under heaven is Mine?

12. దాని అవయవములను గూర్చియైనను దాని మహాబల మునుగూర్చియైనను దాని చక్కని తీరునుగూర్చి యైనను పలుకక మౌనముగా నుండను.

12. [ 41:3] I will not be silent because of him: though because of his power one shall pity his antagonist.

13. ఎవడైన దాని పై కవచమును లాగివేయగలడా? దాని రెండు దవడల నడిమికి ఎవడైన రాగలడా?

13. [ 41:4] Who will open the face of his garment? And who can enter within the fold of his breastplate?

14. దాని ముఖద్వారములను తెరవగలవాడెవడు? దాని పళ్లచుట్టు భయకంపములు కలవు

14. [ 41:5] Who will open the doors of his face? Terror is round about his teeth.

15. దాని గట్టిపొలుసులు దానికి అతిశయాస్పదము ఎవరును తీయలేని ముద్రచేత అవి సంతనచేయబడి యున్నవి.

15. [ 41:6] His inwards are as bronze plates, and the texture of his skin as a smyrite stone.

16. అవి ఒకదానితో ఒకటి హత్తుకొని యున్నవి. వాటి మధ్యకు గాలి యేమాత్రమును జొరనేరదు.

16. [ 41:7] One [part] cleaves fast to another, and the air cannot come between them.

17. ఒకదానితో ఒకటి అతకబడి యున్నవి భేదింప శక్యము కాకుండ అవి యొకదానితో నొకటి కలిసికొని యున్నవి.

17. [ 41:8] They will remain united each to the other: they are closely joined, and cannot be separated.

18. అది తుమ్మగా వెలుగు ప్రకాశించును దాని కన్నులు ఉదయకాలపు కనురెప్పలవలె నున్నవి

18. [ 41:9] At his sneezing a light shines, and his eyes are as the appearance of the morning star.

19. దాని నోటనుండి జ్వాలలు బయలుదేరును అగ్ని కణములు దానినుండి లేచును.

19. [ 41:10] Out of his mouth proceed as it were burning lamps, and as it were hearths of fire are cast abroad.

20. ఉడుకుచున్న కాగులోనుండి, జమ్ముమంటమీద కాగు చున్న బానలోనుండి పొగ లేచునట్లు దాని నాసికారంధ్రములలోనుండి లేచును.

20. [ 41:11] Out of his nostrils proceeds smoke of a furnace burning with fire of coals.

21. దాని ఊపిరి నిప్పులను రాజబెట్టును దాని నోటనుండి జ్వాలలు బయలుదేరును

21. [ 41:12] His breath is as live coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth.

22. దాని మెడ బలమునకు స్థానము భయము దానియెదుట తాండవమాడుచుండును

22. [ 41:13] And power is lodged in his neck, before him destruction runs.

23. దాని ప్రక్కలమీద మాంసము దళముగా ఉన్నది అది దాని ఒంటిని గట్టిగా అంటియున్నది అది ఊడి రాదు.

23. [ 41:14] The flesh also of his body is joined together: if one pours violence upon him, he shall not be moved.

24. దాని గుండె రాతివలె గట్టిగా నున్నది అది తిరుగటి క్రింది దిమ్మంత కఠినము.

24. [ 41:15] His heart is firm as a stone, and it stands like an unyielding anvil.

25. అది లేచునప్పుడు బలిష్ఠులు భయపడుదురు అధిక భయముచేత వారు మైమరతురు.

25. [ 41:16] And when he turns, [he is] a terror to the four-footed wild beasts which leap upon the earth.

26. దాని చంపుటకై ఒకడు ఖడ్గము దూయుట వ్యర్థమే ఈటెలైనను బాణములైనను పంట్రకోలలైనను అక్క రకు రావు.

26. [ 41:17] If spears should come against him, men will effect nothing, [neither with] the spear or the breast plate.

27. ఇది ఇనుమును గడ్డిపోచగాను ఇత్తడిని పుచ్చిపోయిన కఱ్ఱగాను ఎంచును.

27. [ 41:18] For he considers iron as chaff, and brass as rotten wood.

28. బాణము దానిని పారదోలజాలదు వడిసెల రాళ్లు దాని దృష్టికి చెత్తవలె ఉన్నవి.

28. [ 41:19] The bow of brass shall not wound him, he deems a slinger as grass.

29. దుడ్డుకఱ్ఱలు గడ్డిపరకలుగా ఎంచబడును అది వడిగా పోవుచుండు ఈటెను చూచి నవ్వును.

29. [ 41:20] Mauls are counted as stubble; and he laughs to scorn the waving of the firebrand.

30. దాని క్రిందిభాగములు కరుకైన చిల్లపెంకులవలె ఉన్నవి. అది బురదమీద నురిపిడికొయ్యవంటి తన దేహమును పరచుకొనును.

30. [ 41:21] His lair is [formed of] sharp points, and all the gold of the sea under him is an immense [quantity] of clay.

31. కాగు మసలునట్లు మహాసముద్రమును అది పొంగ జేయును సముద్రమును తైలమువలె చేయును.

31. [ 41:22] He makes the deep boil like a bronze caldron, and he regards the sea as a pot of ointment,

32. అది తాను నడచిన త్రోవను తన వెనుక ప్రకాశింప జేయును చూచినవారికి సముద్రము నెరసిన వెండ్రుకలుగా తోచును.

32. [ 41:23] and the lowest part of the deep as a captive: he reckons the deep as his range.

33. అది భయములేనిదిగా సృజింపబడినది భూమిమీద దానివంటిదేదియు లేదు.

33. [ 41:24] There is nothing upon the earth like him, formed to be sported with by My angels.

34. అది గొప్పవాటినన్నిటిని తిరస్కరించును గర్వించిన జంతువులన్నిటికి అది రాజు.

34. [ 41:25] He beholds every high thing, and he is king of all that are in the waters.
