1. నా జనులారా, నా బోధకు చెవియొగ్గుడి నా నోటిమాటలకు చెవియొగ్గుడి

1. A maskil of Asaph. My people, listen to my teaching. Pay attention to what I say.

2. నేను నోరు తెరచి ఉపమానము చెప్పెదను పూర్వకాలపు గూఢవాక్యములను నేను తెలియ జెప్పెదను.

2. I will open my mouth and tell stories. I will speak about things that were hidden. They happened a long time ago.

3. మాకు తెలిసిన సంగతులను మా పితరులు మాకు వివరించిన సంగతులను చెప్పెదను.

3. We have heard about them and we know them. Our people who lived before us have told us about them.

4. యెహోవా స్తోత్రార్హక్రియలను ఆయన బలమును ఆయన చేసిన ఆశ్చర్యకార్యములను దాచకుండ వాటిని వారి పిల్లలకు మేము చెప్పెదము.

4. We won't hide them from our children. We will tell them to those who live after us. We will tell them about what the Lord has done that is worthy of praise. We will talk about his power and the wonderful things he has done.

5. రాగల తరములలో పుట్టబోవు పిల్లలు దాని నెరుగు నట్లును వారు లేచి తమ పిల్లలకు దానిని వివరించునట్లును వీరును దేవునియందు నిరీక్షణగలవారై దేవుని క్రియలను మరువకయుండి

5. He gave laws to the people of Jacob. He gave Israel their law. He commanded our people who lived before us to teach his laws to their children.

6. యథార్థహృదయులు కాక దేవుని విషయమై స్థిరమనస్సులేనివారై తమ పితరులవలె తిరుగబడకయు

6. Then those born later would know his laws. Even their children yet to come would know them. And they in turn would tell their children.

7. మూర్ఖతయు తిరుగుబాటునుగల ఆ తరమును పోలియుండకయు వారు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొనునట్లును

7. Then they would put their trust in God. They would not forget what he had done. They would obey his commands.

8. ఆయన యాకోబు సంతతికి శాసనములను నియమించెను ఇశ్రాయేలు సంతతికి ధర్మశాస్త్రము ననుగ్రహించెను మన పితరులు తమ పుత్రులకు దానిని తెలుపవలెనని వారికాజ్ఞాపించెను

8. They would not be like their people who lived before them. Those people were stubborn. They refused to obey God. Their hearts were not true to him. Their spirits were not faithful to him.

9. విండ్లను పట్టుకొని యుద్దసన్నద్ధులైన ఎఫ్రాయిము సంతతివారు యుద్ధకాలమున వెనుకకు తిరిగిరి

9. The soldiers of Ephraim were armed with bows. But they ran away on the day of battle.

10. వారు దేవుని నిబంధనను గైకొనకపోయిరి ఆయన ధర్మశాస్త్రము ననుసరింపనొల్లకపోయిరి

10. They didn't keep the covenant God had made with them. They refused to live by his law.

11. ఆయన క్రియలను, ఆయన వారికి చూపిన తన ఆశ్చర్య క్రియలను వారు మరచిపోయిరి.

11. They forgot what he had done. They didn't remember the wonders he had shown them.

12. ఐగుప్తుదేశములోని సోయను క్షేత్రమందు వారి పితరులు చూచుచుండగా ఆయన ఆశ్చర్యకార్యములను చేసెను.

12. He did miracles right in front of our people who lived long ago. At that time they were living in the land of Egypt, in the area of Zoan.

13. ఆయన సముద్రమును పాయలుగా చేసి వారిని అద్దరికి నడిపించెను ఆయన నీటిని రాశిగా నిలిపెను

13. God parted the Red Sea and led them through it. He made the water stand up like a wall.

14. పగటివేళ మేఘములోనుండియు రాత్రి అంతయు అగ్నిప్రకాశములోనుండియు ఆయన వారికి త్రోవ చూపెను

14. He guided them with the cloud during the day. He led them with the light of a fire all night long.

15. అరణ్యములో ఆయన బండలు చీల్చి సముద్రమంత సమృద్ధిగా వారికి నీరు త్రాగనిచ్చెను.

15. He broke the rocks open in the desert. He gave them as much water as there is in the oceans.

16. బండలోనుండి ఆయన నీటికాలువలు రప్పించెను నదులవలె నీళ్లు ప్రవహింపజేసెను.

16. He brought streams out of a rocky cliff. He made water flow down like rivers.

17. అయినను వారు ఆయనకు విరోధముగా ఇంకను పాపముచేయుచునే వచ్చిరి అడవిలో మహోన్నతుని మీద తిరుగబడిరి.

17. But they continued to sin against him. In the desert they refused to obey the Most High God.

18. వారు తమ ఆశకొలది ఆహారము నడుగుచు తమ హృదయములలో దేవుని శోధించిరి.

18. They were stubborn and put God to the test. They ordered him to give them the food they longed for.

19. ఈ అరణ్యములో దేవుడు భోజనము సిద్ధపరచగలడా యనుచు వారు దేవునికి విరోధముగా మాటలాడిరి.

19. They spoke against God. They said, 'Can God put food on a table in the desert?

20. ఆయన బండను కొట్టగా నీరు ఉబికెను నీళ్లు కాలువలై పారెను. ఆయన ఆహారము ఇయ్యగలడా? ఆయన తన ప్రజలకు మాంసము సిద్ధపరచగలడా? అని వారు చెప్పుకొనిరి.

20. When he struck the rock, streams of water poured out. Huge amounts of water flowed down. But can he also give us food? Can he supply meat for his people?'

21. యెహోవా ఈ మాట విని కోపగించెను యాకోబు సంతతిని దహించివేయుటకు అగ్నిరాజెను ఇశ్రాయేలు సంతతిని హరించివేయుటకు కోపము పుట్టెను.

21. When the Lord heard what they said, he was very angry. His anger broke out like fire against the people of Jacob. He became very angry with Israel.

22. వారు దేవునియందు విశ్వాసముంచకపోయిరి. ఆయన దయచేసిన రక్షణయందు నమ్మిక యుంచలేదు.

22. That was because they didn't believe in God. They didn't trust in his power to save them.

23. అయినను ఆయన పైనున్న ఆకాశములకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను. అంతరిక్షద్వారములను తెరచెను

23. But he gave a command to the skies above. He opened the doors of the heavens.

24. ఆహారమునకై ఆయన వారిమీద మన్నాను కురిపించెను ఆకాశధాన్యము వారి కనుగ్రహించెను.

24. He rained down manna for the people to eat. He gave them the grain of heaven.

25. దేవదూతల ఆహారము నరులు భుజించిరి భోజనపదార్థములను ఆయన వారికి సమృద్ధిగా పంపెను.

25. Mere men ate the bread of angels. He sent them all of the food they could eat.

26. ఆకాశమందు తూర్పు గాలి ఆయన విసరజేసెను తన బలముచేత దక్షిణపు గాలి రప్పించెను.

26. He made the east wind blow from the heavens. By his power he caused the south wind to blow.

27. ధూళి అంత విస్తారముగా మాంసమును సముద్రపు ఇసుక రేణువులంత విస్తారముగా రెక్కలు గల పిట్టలను ఆయన వారిమీద కురిపించెను.

27. He rained meat down on them like dust. He sent them birds like sand on the seashore.

28. వారి దండు మధ్యను వారి నివాసస్థలములచుట్టును ఆయన వాటిని వ్రాలజేసెను.

28. He made the birds come down inside their camp. The birds fell all around their tents.

29. వారు కడుపార తిని తనిసిరి వారు ఆశించిన దానిని ఆయన అనుగ్రహించెను.

29. People ate until they had more than enough. He gave them what they had longed for.

30. వారి ఆశ తీరకమునుపే ఆహారము ఇంక వారి నోళ్లలో నుండగానే

30. But even before they had finished eating, God acted. He did it while the food was still in their mouths.

31. దేవుని కోపము వారిమీదికి దిగెను వారిలో బలిసినవారిని ఆయన సంహరించెను ఇశ్రాయేలులో ¸యౌవనులను కూల్చెను.

31. His anger rose up against them. He put to death the strongest among them. He struck down Israel's young men.

32. ఇంత జరిగినను వారు ఇంకను పాపముచేయుచు ఆయన ఆశ్చర్యకార్యములనుబట్టి ఆయనను నమ్ముకొనక పోయిరి.

32. But even after all that, they kept on sinning. Even after they had seen the miracles he did, they still didn't believe.

33. కాబట్టి ఆయన, వారి దినములు ఊపిరివలె గడచిపోజేసెను వారి సంవత్సరములు అకస్మాత్తుగా గడచిపోజేసెను.

33. So he brought their days to an end like a puff of smoke. He ended their years with terror.

34. వారిని ఆయన సంహరించినప్పుడు వారు ఆయనను వెదకిరి వారు తిరిగి హృదయపూర్వకముగా దేవుని బతిమాలుకొనిరి.

34. Every time God killed some of them, the others would look to him. They gladly turned back to him again.

35. దేవుడు తమకు ఆశ్రయదుర్గమనియు మహోన్నతుడైన దేవుడు తమకు విమోచకుడనియు వారు జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనిరి.

35. They remembered that God was their Rock. They remembered that God Most High had set them free.

36. అయినను వారి హృదయము ఆయనయెడల స్థిరముగా నుండలేదు ఆయన నిబంధనను వారు నమ్మకముగా గైకొనలేదు

36. But they didn't mean it when they praised him. They lied to him when they spoke.

37. నోటి మాటతో వారు ఆయనను ముఖస్తుతిచేసిరి తమ నాలుకలతో ఆయనయొద్ద బొంకిరి.

37. Their hearts were not true to him. They weren't faithful to the covenant he had made with them.

38. అయితే ఆయన వాత్సల్యసంపూర్ణుడై వారిని నశింపజేయక వారి దోషము పరిహరించు వాడు. తన ఉగ్రతను ఏమాత్రమును రేపుకొనక పలుమారు కోపము అణచుకొనువాడు.

38. But he was full of tender love. He forgave their sins and didn't destroy his people. Time after time he held back his anger. He didn't let all of his burning anger blaze out.

39. కాగావారు కేవలము శరీరులై యున్నారనియు విసరి, వెళ్లి మరలి రాని గాలివలె నున్నారనియు ఆయన జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనెను.

39. He remembered that they were only human. He remembered they were only a breath of air that drifts by and doesn't return.

40. అరణ్యమున వారు ఆయనమీద ఎన్నిమారులో తిరుగబడిరి ఎడారియందు ఆయనను ఎన్నిమారులో దుఃఖపెట్టిరి.

40. How often they refused to obey him in the desert! How often they caused him sorrow in that dry and empty land!

41. మాటిమాటికి వారు దేవుని శోధించిరి మాటిమాటికి ఇశ్రాయేలు పరిశుద్ధదేవునికి సంతాపము కలిగించిరి.

41. Again and again they put God to the test. They made the Holy One of Israel sad and angry.

42. ఆయన బాహుబలమునైనను విరోధులచేతిలోనుండి ఆయన తమ్మును విమోచించిన దినమునైనను వారు స్మరణకు తెచ్చుకొనలేదు.

42. They didn't remember his power. They forgot the day he set them free from those who had beaten them down.

43. ఐగుప్తులో తన సూచక క్రియలను సోయను క్షేత్రమందు తన అద్భుతములను ఆయన చూపిన దినమును వారు జ్ఞప్తికి తెచ్చుకొనలేదు.

43. They forgot how he had shown them his miraculous signs in Egypt. They forgot his miracles in the area of Zoan.

44. ఐగుప్తీయులు త్రాగలేకుండ నైలునది కాలువలను వారి ప్రవాహజలములను ఆయన రక్తముగా మార్చెను
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 16:4

44. He turned the rivers of Egypt into blood. The people of Egypt couldn't drink water from their streams.

45. ఆయన వారిమీదికి జోరీగలను గుంపుగా విడిచెను అవి వారిని తినివేసెను కప్పలను విడిచెను అవి వారిని నాశనము చేసెను.

45. He sent large numbers of flies that bit them. He sent frogs that destroyed their land.

46. ఆయన వారి పంటను చీడపురుగులకిచ్చెను వారి కష్టఫలములను మిడతలకప్పగించెను.

46. He gave their crops to the grasshoppers. He gave their food to the locusts.

47. వడగండ్లచేత వారి ద్రాక్షతీగెలను హిమముచేత వారి మేడిచెట్లను ఆయన పాడుచేసెను.

47. He destroyed their vines with hail. He destroyed their fig trees with sleet.

48. వారి పశువులను వడగండ్ల పాలుచేసెను. వారి మందలను పిడుగుల పాలుచేసెను.

48. He killed their cattle with hail. Their livestock were struck by lightning.

49. ఆయన ఉపద్రవము కలుగజేయు దూతల సేనగా తన కోపాగ్నిని ఉగ్రతను మహోగ్రతను శ్రమను వారిమీద విడిచెను.

49. He brought great trouble on Egypt by pouring out his blazing anger. In his hot anger he sent destroying angels against them.

50. తన కోపమునకు ఆయన త్రోవ చదునుచేసెను మరణమునుండి వారి ప్రాణమును తప్పింపక వారి జీవమును తెగులునకు అప్పగించెను.

50. God prepared a path for his anger. He didn't spare their lives. He gave them over to the plague.

51. ఐగుప్తులోని జ్యేష్ఠులనందరిని హాము గుడారములలోనున్న బలప్రారంభమైన ప్రథమసంతానమును ఆయన సంహరించెను.

51. He killed the oldest son of each family in Egypt. He struck down the oldest son in every house in the land of Ham.

52. అయితే గొఱ్ఱెలవలె ఆయన తన ప్రజలను తోడు కొనిపోయెను ఒకడు మందను నడిపించునట్లు అరణ్యములో ఆయన వారిని నడిపించెను

52. But he brought his people out like a flock. He led them like sheep through the desert.

53. వారు భయపడకుండ ఆయన వారిని సురక్షితముగా నడిపించెను. వారి శత్రువులను సముద్రములో ముంచివేసెను.

53. He guided them safely, and they weren't afraid. But the Red Sea swallowed up their enemies.

54. తాను ప్రతిష్ఠించిన సరిహద్దునొద్దకు తన దక్షిణహస్తము సంపాదించిన యీ పర్వతము నొద్దకు ఆయన వారిని రప్పించెను.

54. He brought his people to the border of his holy land. He led them to the central hill country he had taken by his power.

55. వారియెదుటనుండి అన్యజనులను వెళ్లగొట్టెను. కొలనూలుచేత వారి స్వాస్థ్యమును వారికి పంచి యిచ్చెను. ఇశ్రాయేలు గోత్రములను వారి గుడారములలో నివసింపజేసెను.

55. He drove the nations out to make room for his people. He gave to each family a piece of land to pass on to their children. He settled the tribes of Israel in their homes.

56. అయినను వారు మహోన్నతుడైన దేవుని శోధించి తిరుగుబాటు చేసిరి ఆయన శాసనముల ననుసరింపకపోయిరి.

56. But they put God to the test. They refused to obey the Most High God. They didn't keep his laws.

57. తమ పితరులవలె వారు వెనుకకు తిరిగి ద్రోహులైరి జౌకిచ్చు విల్లు పనికిరాకపోయినట్లు వారు తొలగిపోయిరి.

57. Like their people who lived before them, they turned away from him and were not faithful. They were like a bow that doesn't shoot straight. They couldn't be trusted.

58. వారు ఉన్నతస్థలములను కట్టి ఆయనకు కోపము పుట్టించిరి విగ్రహములను పెట్టుకొని ఆయనకు రోషము కలుగ జేసిరి.

58. They made God angry by going to their high places. They made him jealous by worshiping the statues of their gods.

59. దేవుడు దీని చూచి ఆగ్రహించి ఇశ్రాయేలు నందు బహుగా అసహ్యించుకొనెను.

59. When God saw what the people were doing, he was very angry. He turned away from them completely.

60. షిలోహు మందిరమును తాను మనుష్యులలో సంస్థాపన చేసిన గుడారమును ఆయన విడిచిపెట్టెను.

60. He deserted the holy tent at Shiloh. He left the tent he had set up among his people.

61. ఆయన తన బలమును చెరకును, తన భూషణమైనదానిని విరోధులచేతికిని అప్పగించెను.

61. He allowed the ark to be captured. Into the hands of his enemies he sent the ark where his glory rested.

62. తన ప్రజలను ఖడ్గమునకు అప్పగించెను. ఆయన తన స్వాస్థ్యముమీద ఆగ్రహించెను

62. He let his people be killed with swords. He was very angry with them.

63. అగ్ని వారి ¸యౌవనస్థులను భక్షించెను వారి కన్యకలకు పెండ్లిపాటలు లేకపోయెను.

63. Fire destroyed their young men. Their young women had no one to get married to.

64. వారి యాజకులు కత్తిపాలుకాగా వారి విధవరాండ్రు రోదనము చేయకుండిరి.

64. Their priests were killed with swords. Their widows weren't able to cry.

65. అప్పుడు నిద్రనుండి మేల్కొను ఒకనివలెను మద్యవశుడై ఆర్భటించు పరాక్రమశాలివలెను ప్రభువు మేల్కొనెను.

65. Then the Lord woke up as if he had been sleeping. He was like a man waking up from the deep sleep caused by wine.

66. ఆయన తన విరోధులను వెనుకకు తరిమికొట్టెను నిత్యమైన నింద వారికి కలుగజేసెను.

66. He drove his enemies back. He put them to shame that will last forever.

67. పిమ్మట ఆయన యోసేపు గుడారమును అసహ్యించుకొనెను ఎఫ్రాయిము గోత్రమును కోరుకొనలేదు.

67. He turned his back on the tents of the people of Joseph. He didn't choose to live in the tribe of Ephraim.

68. యూదా గోత్రమును తాను ప్రేమించిన సీయోను పర్వతమును ఆయన కోరుకొనెను.

68. Instead, he chose to live in the tribe of Judah. He chose Mount Zion, which he loved.

69. తాను అంతరిక్షమును కట్టినట్లు తాను భూమిని నిత్యముగా స్థాపించినట్లు ఆయన తన పరిశుద్ధమందిరమును కట్టించెను

69. There he built his holy place as secure as the heavens. He built it to last forever, like the earth.

70. తన దాసుడైన దావీదును కోరుకొని గొఱ్ఱెల దొడ్లలోనుండి అతని పిలిపించెను.

70. He chose his servant David. He took him from the sheep pens.

71. పాడిగొఱ్ఱెలను వెంబడించుట మాన్పించి తన ప్రజలైన యాకోబును, తన స్వాస్థ్యమైన ఇశ్రాయేలును మేపుటకై ఆయన అతనిని రప్పించెను.

71. He brought him from tending sheep to be the shepherd of his people Jacob. He made him the shepherd of Israel, his special people.

72. అతడు యథార్థహృదయుడై వారిని పాలించెను కార్యములయందు నేర్పరియై వారిని నడిపించెను.

72. David cared for them with a faithful and honest heart. With skilled hands he led them.
