1. And He said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and prostrate yourselves from a distance.

2. మోషే మాత్రము యెహోవాను సమీపింపవలెను, వారు సమీపింపకూడదు, ప్రజలు అతనితో ఎక్కి రాకూడదు.

2. And Moses alone shall approach Jehovah, but they shall not approach; nor shall the people go up with him.

3. మోషే వచ్చి యెహోవా మాటలన్నిటిని విధులన్నిటిని ప్రజలతో వివరించి చెప్పెను. ప్రజలందరుయెహోవా చెప్పిన మాట లన్నిటి ప్రకారము చేసెదమని యేక శబ్దముతో ఉత్తరమిచ్చిరి.

3. And Moses came and told the people all the words of Jehovah and all the judgments. And all the people answered with one voice and said, All the words which Jehovah has spoken we will do.

4. మరియు మోషే యెహోవా మాటలన్నిటిని వ్రాసి ఉదయమందు లేచి ఆ కొండ దిగువను బలిపీఠమును ఇశ్రాయేలు పండ్రెండు గోత్రములు చొప్పున పండ్రెండు స్తంభములను కట్టి

4. And Moses wrote all the Words of Jehovah. And he arose early in the morning, and built an altar at the base of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

5. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ¸యౌవనస్థులను పంపగా వారు దహనబలుల నర్పించి యెహోవాకు సమాధానబలులగా కోడెలను వధించిరి.

5. And he sent young men of the sons of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and slaughtered oxen for sacrifices of peace unto Jehovah.

6. అప్పుడు మోషే వాటి రక్తములో సగము తీసికొని పళ్లెములలో పోసి ఆ రక్తములో సగము బలిపీఠముమీద ప్రోక్షించెను.

6. And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

7. అతడు నిబంధన గ్రంథమును తీసికొని ప్రజలకు వినిపింపగా వారు యెహోవా చెప్పినవన్నియు చేయుచు విధేయులమై యుందుమనిరి.

7. And he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the ears of the people. And they said, All that Jehovah has spoken we will do and obey.

8. అప్పుడు మోషే రక్తమును తీసికొని ప్రజలమీద ప్రోక్షించి ఇదిగో యీ సంగతులన్నిటి విషయమై యెహోవా మీతో చేసిన నిబంధన రక్తము ఇదే అని చెప్పెను.

8. And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, This is the blood of the covenant which Jehovah has made with you according to all these words.

9. తరువాత మోషే అహరోను నాదాబు అబీహు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలలో డెబ్బదిమందియు ఎక్కి పోయి

9. And Moses went up, along with Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel,

10. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుని చూచిరి. ఆయన పాదములక్రింద నిగనిగలాడు నీలమయమైన వస్తువు వంటిదియు ఆకాశ మండలపు తేజమువంటిదియు ఉండెను.

10. and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the essence of the heavens in its clarity.

11. ఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలోని ప్రధానులకు ఏ హానియు చేయలేదు; వారు దేవుని చూచి అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనిరి.

11. And He did not let loose His hand against the nobles of the children of Israel. And they saw God, and they ate and drank.

12. అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెను నీవు కొండయెక్కి నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి అచ్చటనుండుము; నీవు వారికి బోధించునట్లు నేను వ్రాసిన ఆజ్ఞలను, ధర్మశాస్త్రమును, రాతిపలకలను నీకిచ్చెదననగా

12. And Jehovah said unto Moses, Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the Law and commandments which I have written, to teach them.

13. మోషేయు అతని పరిచారకుడైన యెహోషువయు లేచిరి. మోషే దేవుని కొండమీదికి ఎక్కెను.

13. And Moses arose with Joshua who ministered, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.

14. And he said to the elders, Wait here for us until we return to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur, who are rulers, are with you. Whoever has a matter, let him go to them.

15. మోషే కొండమీదికి ఎక్కినప్పుడు ఆ మేఘము కొండను కమ్మెను.

15. And Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.

16. యెహోవా మహిమ సీనాయి కొండమీద నిలిచెను; మేఘము ఆరు దినములు దాని కమ్ముకొనెను; ఏడవ దినమున ఆయన ఆ మేఘములోనుండి మోషేను పిలిచినప్పుడు

16. And the glory of Jehovah settled down upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. And on the seventh day He summoned Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17. యెహోవా మహిమ ఆ కొండ శిఖరముమీద దహించు అగ్నివలె ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కన్నులకు కనబడెను.

17. The appearance of the glory of Jehovah was like a consuming fire on the top of the mountain before the eyes of the children of Israel.

18. అప్పుడు మోషే ఆ మేఘములో ప్రవేశించి కొండమీదికి ఎక్కెను. మోషే ఆ కొండమీద రేయింబవళ్ళు నలుబది దినములుండెను.

18. And Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain. And Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights.
