1. మోషే మిద్యాను యాజకుడైన యిత్రో అను తన మామ మందను మేపుచు, ఆ మందను అరణ్యము అవతలకు తోలుకొని దేవుని పర్వతమైన హోరేబుకు వచ్చెను.

1. Now, Moses, was shepherding the flock of Jethro his father-in-law priest of Midian, so he led forth the flock behind the desert, and came in unto the mountain of God to Horeb.

2. ఒక పొద నడిమిని అగ్నిజ్వాలలో యెహోవా దూత అతనికి ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను. అతడు చూచినప్పుడు అగ్ని వలన ఆ పొద మండుచుండెను. గాని పొద కాలిపోలేదు.

2. Then appeared the messenger of Yahweh unto him, in a flame of fire from the midst of the thorn-bush, so he looked and lo! the thorn-bush burning with fire and yet the thorn-bush, was not consumed.

3. అప్పుడు మోషే - ఆ పొద యేల కాలిపోలేదో నేను ఆ తట్టు వెళ్లి యీ గొప్పవింత చూచెదననుకొనెను.

3. And, Moses said, Let me turn aside, pray, and see this great sight, why the thorn-bush, doth not burn up.

4. దానిని చూచుటకు అతడు ఆ తట్టు వచ్చుట యెహోవా చూచెను. దేవుడు ఆ పొద నడుమనుండి మోషే మోషే అని అతనిని పిలిచెను. అందుకతడు చిత్తము ప్రభువా అనెను.

4. And Yahweh saw, that he turned aside to see, so God called unto him out of the midst of the thorn-bush, and said Moses! Moses! And he said Behold me!

5. అందుకాయన దగ్గరకు రావద్దు, నీ పాదముల నుండి నీ చెప్పులు విడువుము, నీవు నిలిచియున్న స్థలము పరిశుద్ధ ప్రదేశము అనెను.

5. And he said Do not draw nigh hither, put off thy sandals from thy feet, for, the place whereon thou art standing is holy ground.

6. And he said I, am the God of thy father, God of Abraham, God of Isaac and God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.

7. మరియు యెహోవా యిట్లనెను - నేను ఐగుప్తులోనున్న నా ప్రజల బాధను నిశ్చయముగా చూచితిని, పనులలో తమ్మును కష్టపెట్టు వారినిబట్టి వారు పెట్టిన మొరను వింటిని, వారి దుఃఖములు నాకు తెలిసే యున్నవి.

7. Then said Yahweh, I have, seen, the humiliation of my people, who are in Egypt, and their outcry, have I heard, by reason of their task-masters, for I know their pains;

8. కాబట్టి ఐగుప్తీయుల చేతిలోనుండి వారిని విడిపించుటకును, ఆ దేశములోనుండి విశాలమైన మంచి దేశమునకు, అనగా కనానీయులకు హిత్తీయులకు అమోరీయులకు పెరిజ్జీయులకు హివ్వీయులకు యెబూసీయులకు నివాసస్థానమై, పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశమునకు వారిని నడిపించుటకును దిగివచ్చి యున్నాను.

8. therefore have I come down to deliver them from the hand of the Egyptians, and to take them up out of that land, into a land good and large, into a land flowing with milk and honey, into the place of the Canaanite and the Hittite, and the Amorite and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

9. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మొర నిజముగా నాయొద్దకు చేరినది, ఐగుప్తీయులు వారిని పెట్టుచున్న హింస చూచితిని.

9. Now, therefore, lo! the outcry of the sons of Israel, hath come in unto me, moreover also, I have seen the oppression, wherewith the Egyptians are oppressing them.

10. కాగా రమ్ము, నిన్ను ఫరోయొద్దకు పంపెదను; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులైన నా ప్రజలను నీవు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడుకొని పోవలెననెను.

10. Now, therefore, come thou! that I may send thee unto Pharaoh, and bring thou forth my people the sons of Israel out of Egypt.

11. అందుకు మోషే - నేను ఫరో యొద్దకు వెళ్లుటకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడుకొని పోవుటకును ఎంతటివాడనని దేవునితో అనగా

11. And Moses said unto God, Who am, I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the sons of Israel out of Egypt?

12. ఆయన నిశ్చయముగా నేను నీకు తోడై యుందును, నేను నిన్ను పంపితిననుటకు ఇది నీకు సూచన; నీవు ఆ ప్రజలను ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తోడుకొని వచ్చిన తరువాత మీరు ఈ పర్వతముమీద దేవుని సేవించెదరనెను.

12. And he said I will be with thee, and, this, to thee, shall be the sign, that, I have sent thee, When thou bringest forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall do service unto God, upon this mountain.

13. మోషే చిత్తగించుము; నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యొద్దకు వెళ్లి వారిని చూచి మీ పితరుల దేవుడు మీ యొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని వారితో చెప్పగా వారు ఆయన పేరేమి అని అడిగిన యెడల వారితో నేనేమి చెప్పవలెనని దేవుని నడిగెను.

13. And Moses said unto God Lo! as surely as, I, go in unto the sons of Israel, and say unto them, The God of your fathers, hath sent me unto you, So surely will they say unto me What is his name? What shall I say unto them?

14. అందుకు దేవుడు నేను ఉన్నవాడను అను వాడనైయున్నానని మోషేతో చెప్పెను. మరియు ఆయన ఉండుననువాడు మీయొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పవలెననెను.

14. And God said unto Moses, I Will Become whatsoever I please, And he said Thus, shalt thou say to the sons of Israel, I Will Become hath sent me unto you.

15. మరియు దేవుడు మోషేతో నిట్లనెను మీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా, అనగా అబ్రాహాము దేవుడు ఇస్సాకు దేవుడు యాకోబు దేవుడునైన యెహోవా మీ యొద్దకు నన్ను పంపెనని నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పవలెను. నిరంతరము నా నామము ఇదే, తరతరములకు ఇది నా జ్ఞాపకార్థక నామము.

15. And God said yet further unto Moses Thus shalt thou say unto the sons of Israel, Yahweh God of your fathers. God of Abraham God of Isaac and God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you. This, is my name to times age-abiding, And, this, my memorial to generation after generation.

16. నీవు వెళ్లి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలను పోగు చేసి మీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా, అనగా అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబుల దేవుడు, నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యిట్లనెను నేను మిమ్మును, ఐగుప్తులో మీకు సంభవించిన దానిని, నిశ్చయముగా చూచితిని,

16. Go and thou shalt gather together the eiders of Israel and shalt say unto them-Yahweh. God of your fathers, hath appeared unto me, the God of Abraham Isaac, and Jacob saying, I am, concerned, for you, and for what is done to you in Egypt;

17. ఐగుప్తు బాధలోనుండి పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశమునకు, అనగా కనానీయులు హిత్తీయులు అమోరీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు హివ్వీయులు యెబూసీయులున్న దేశమునకు మిమ్ము రప్పించెదనని సెలవిచ్చితినని వారితో చెప్పుము.

17. therefore do I say I will bring you up out of the humiliation of Egypt, into the land of the Canaanite and the Hittite, and the Amorite and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite, into a land flowing with milk and honey.

18. వారు నీ మాట విందురు గనుక నీవును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలును ఐగుప్తు రాజు నొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతని చూచి హెబ్రీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాకు ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను గనుక మేము అరణ్యమునకు మూడుదినముల ప్రయాణమంత దూరము పోయి మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు బలిని సమర్పించుదుము సెలవిమ్మని అతనితో చెప్పవలెను.

18. So will they hearken to thy voice, and thou shalt go in thou, and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt and ye shall say unto him Yahweh, God of the Hebrews, hath fallen in with us, Now, therefore let us go, we pray thee, a journey of three days into the desert, that we may sacrifice to Yahweh, our God.

19. ఐగుప్తు రాజు మహాబలముతో మీ మీదికి వచ్చి మిమ్ము పోనియ్యడని నేనెరుగుదును;

19. But, I, know, that the king of Egypt will not suffer you to go, not even by a firm hand.

20. కాని, నేను నా చెయ్యి చాపి ఐగుప్తు మధ్యమున నేను చేయదలచియున్న నా అద్భుతములన్నిటిని చూపి దాని పాడుచేసెదను. అటుతరువాత అతడు మిమ్ము పంపివేయును.

20. So then I will put forth my hand and smite Egypt, with all my wonders, which I will d in the midst thereof, and, after that, he will send you forth.

21. జనుల యెడల ఐగుప్తీయులకు కటాక్షము కలుగజేసెదను గనుక మీరు వెళ్లునప్పుడు వట్టిచేతులతో వెళ్లరు.

21. Thus will I give favour to this people in the eyes of the Egyptians, so shall it come to pass that when ye do go, ye shall not go empty;

22. ప్రతి స్త్రీయు తన పొరుగుదానిని తన యింటనుండు దానిని వెండి నగలను బంగారు నగలను వస్త్రములను ఇమ్మని అడిగి తీసికొని, మీరు వాటిని మీ కుమారులకును మీ కుమార్తెలకును ధరింపచేసి ఐగుప్తీయులను దోచుకొందురనెను.

22. but every woman shall ask of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold and mantles, and ye shall put them upon your sons and upon your daughters, so shall ye spoil the Egyptians.
