1. తరువాత మోషే అహరోనులు వచ్చి ఫరోను చూచి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా అరణ్యములో నాకు ఉత్సవము చేయుటకు నా జనమును పోనిమ్మని ఆజ్ఞాపించుచున్నాడనిరి.

1. And afterward Moses and Aaron came in and said to Pharaoh, So says Jehovah the God of Israel, Send away My people, and they shall feast to Me in the wilderness.

2. ఫరో నేను అతని మాట విని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనిచ్చుటకు యెహోవా ఎవడు? నేను యెహోవాను ఎరుగను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనీయననెను.

2. And Pharaoh said, Who is Jehovah that I should listen to His voice to send away Israel? I do not know Jehovah, and I also will not send Israel away.

3. అప్పుడు వారు హెబ్రీయుల దేవుడు మమ్మును ఎదుర్కొనెను, సెలవైన యెడల మేము అరణ్యములోనికి మూడు దినముల ప్రయాణమంత దూరముపోయి మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు బలి అర్పించుదము; లేని యెడల ఆయన మా మీద తెగులుతోనునైనను ఖడ్గముతోనైనను పడునేమో అనిరి.

3. And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Now let us go a journey of three days into the wilderness and sacrifice to Jehovah our God, that He not strike us with plague or with sword.

4. అందుకు ఐగుప్తు రాజుమోషే అహరోనూ, ఈ జనులు తమ పనులను చేయకుండ మీరేల ఆపుచున్నారు? మీ బరువులు మోయుటకు పొండనెను.

4. And the king of Egypt said to them, Moses and Aaron, why do you loose the people from their work? You go to your burdens.

5. మరియు ఫరో ఇదిగో ఈ జనము ఇప్పుడు విస్తరించియున్నది; వారు తమ బరువులను విడిచి తీరికగా నుండునట్లు మీరు చేయుచున్నారని వారితో అనెను.

5. And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land are many now, and you make them cease from their burdens.

6. ఆ దినమున ఫరో ప్రజలపైనున్న కార్యనియామకులకును వారి నాయకులకును ఇట్లు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను

6. And Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people, and their overseers, that day, saying,

7. ఇటుకలు చేయుటకు మీరు ఇకమీదట ఈ జనులకు గడ్డి ఇయ్యకూడదు, వారు వెళ్లి తామే గడ్డి కూర్చుకొనవలెను.

7. You shall not go on giving straw to the people to make bricks, as yesterday and the third day. They shall go and pick up straw for themselves.

8. అయినను వారు ఇదివరకు చేసిన యిటుకల లెక్కనే వారి మీద మోపవలెను, దానిలో ఏమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు; వారు సోమరులు గనుక మేము వెళ్లి మా దేవునికి బలి నర్పించుటకు సెలవిమ్మని మొఱ పెట్టుచున్నారు.

8. And the fixed number of bricks which they were making yesterday and the third day you shall put on them. You shall not diminish from it. For they are idle; so they are crying, saying, Let us go, let us sacrifice to our God.

9. ఆ మనుష్యులచేత ఎక్కువ పని చేయింపవలెను, దానిలో వారు కష్టపడవలెను, అబద్ధపు మాటలను వారు లక్ష్యపెట్టకూడదనెను.

9. Let the bondage be heavy on the men, that they may work in it, and may not trust in the lying words.

10. కాబట్టి ప్రజలు కార్యనియామకులును వారి నాయకులును పోయి ప్రజలను చూచి నేను మీకు గడ్డి ఇయ్యను;

10. And the taskmasters of the people, and their overseers went out and spoke to the people, saying, Pharaoh has said this, I will not give you straw.

11. మీరు వెళ్లి మీకు గడ్డి యెక్కడ దొరకునో అక్కడ మీరే సంపాదించుకొనుడి, అయితే మీ పనిలో నేమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయబడదని ఫరో సెలవిచ్చెననిరి.

11. You go take straw for yourselves from wherever you may find it. For not a thing will be reduced from your work.

12. అప్పుడు ప్రజలు గడ్డికి మారుగా కొయ్య కాలు కూర్చుటకు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను చెదిరిపోయిరి.

12. And the people scattered in all the land of Egypt to pick up stubble for straw.

13. మరియు కార్యనియామకులు వారిని త్వరపెట్టి గడ్డి ఉన్నప్పటివలెనే యేనాటిపని ఆనాడే ముగించుడనిరి.

13. And the taskmasters were demanding, saying, Finish your work, the matter of a day in its day, as when there was straw.

14. ఫరో కార్యనియామకులు తాము ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారిమీద ఉంచిన నాయకులను కొట్టి ఎప్పటివలె మీ లెక్క చొప్పున ఇటుకలను నిన్న నేడు మీరు ఏల చేయించలేదని అడుగగా

14. And the overseers of the sons of Israel were beaten, those whom the taskmasters of Pharaoh had put over them, saying, Why have you not finished your appointed task, to make bricks as a day ago and the day before, both yesterday and today?

15. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నాయకులు ఫరో యొద్దకు వచ్చి తమ దాసుల యెడల తమరెందుకిట్లు జరిగించుచున్నారు?

15. And the overseers of the sons of Israel came in and cried to Pharaoh, saying, Why do you do this way to your slaves?

16. తమ దాసులకు గడ్డినియ్యరు అయితే ఇటుకలు చేయుడని మాతో చెప్పుచున్నారు; చిత్తగించుము, వారు తమరి దాసులను కొట్టుచున్నారు; అయితే తప్పిదము తమరి ప్రజలయందే యున్నదని మొఱపెట్టిరి.

16. No straw is given to your slaves, and they are saying to us, Make bricks. And, behold, your slaves are beaten, but your people are at fault.

17. అందుకతడు - మీరు సోమరులు మీరు సోమరులు అందుచేత మేము వెళ్లి యెహోవాకు బలినర్పించుటకు సెలవిమ్మని మీరడుగుచున్నారు.

17. And he said, You are lazy and idle. So you are saying, Let us go, let us sacrifice to Jehovah.

18. మీరు పొండి, పనిచేయుడి, గడ్డి మీకియ్యబడదు, అయితే ఇటుకల లెక్క మీరప్పగింపక తప్పదని చెప్పెను.

18. Therefore, go now and work. And straw will not be given to you; and a certain number of bricks you shall deliver.

19. మీ ఇటుకల లెక్కలో నేమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు, ఏనాటి పని ఆనాడే చేయవలెనని రాజు సెలవియ్యగా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నాయకులు తాము దురవస్థలో పడియున్నట్లు తెలిసికొనిరి.

19. And the overseers of the sons of Israel saw themselves in affliction, saying, You shall not diminish from your bricks, the matter of a day in its day.

20. వారు ఫరో యొద్దనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చుచు, తమ్మును ఎదుర్కొనుటకు దారిలో నిలిచియున్న మోషే అహరోనులను కలిసికొని

20. And they met Moses and Aaron standing to meet them when they came from Pharaoh.

21. యెహోవా మిమ్ము చూచి న్యాయము తీర్చును గాక; ఫరో యెదుటను అతని దాసుల యెదుటను మమ్మును అసహ్యులనుగా చేసి మమ్ము చంపుటకై వారిచేతికి ఖడ్గమిచ్చితిరని వారితో అనగా

21. And they said to them, May Jehovah look on you and judge, you who have made our odor to stink in Pharaoh's eyes and in the eyes of his servants, to give a sword in their hands to kill us.

22. మోషే యెహోవా యొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లి ప్రభువా, నీవేల ఈ ప్రజలకు కీడు చేసితివి? నన్నేల పంపితివి?

22. And Moses returned to Jehovah and said, Lord, why have You done evil to this people? Why then have You sent me?

23. నేను నీ పేరట మాటలాడుటకు ఫరో యొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పటి నుండి అతడు ఈ జనులకు కీడే చేయుచున్నాడు, నీ జనులను నీవు విడిపింపను లేదనెను.

23. And since I came in to Pharaoh to speak in Your name, he has done evil to this people. And You did not certainly deliver your people.
