1. యెహోవా ఏటిని కొట్టి యేడు దినములైన తరువాత యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెను - నీవు ఫరో యొద్దకు వెళ్లి అతనితో నన్ను సేవించుటకు నా జనులను పోనిమ్ము;

1. Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, then shalt thou say unto him Thus, saith Yahweh, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

2. నీవు వారిని పోనియ్యనొల్లని యెడల ఇదిగో నేను నీ పొలి మేరలన్నిటిని కప్పలచేత బాధించెదను.

2. But if thou art, refusing, to let them go, lo! I, am plaguing all thy boundaries with frogs;

3. ఏటిలో కప్పలు విస్తారముగా పుట్టును; అవి నీ యింట నీ పడకగదిలోనికి నీ మంచముమీదికి నీ సేవకుల యిండ్లలోనికి నీ జనులమీదికి నీ పొయిలలోనికి నీ పిండి పిసుకు తొట్లలోనికి ఎక్కి వచ్చును;

3. so shall the river swarm with frogs, and they shall come up, and enter into thy house, and into thy bedchamber and upon thy couch, and into the house of thy servants and among thy people, and into thine ovens and into thy kneading-troughs:

4. ఆ కప్పలు నీ మీదికి నీ జనుల మీదికి నీ సేవకులందరిమీదికి వచ్చునని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పుమ నెను.

4. both against thee, and against thy people, and against all thy servants, shall come up the frogs.

5. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెను నీవు అహరోనును చూచి నీ కఱ్ఱ పట్టుకొని యేటిపాయల మీదను కాలువలమీదను చెరువుల మీదను నీ చెయ్యి చాపి ఐగుప్తు దేశముమీదికి కప్పలను రాజేయుమని అతనితో చెప్పుమనగా

5. Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Say unto Aaron Stretch forth thy hand with thy staff, over the streams over the rivers and over the pools, and bring up the frogs, over the land of Egypt.

6. అహరోను ఐగుప్తు జలములమీద తన చెయ్యి చాపెను; అప్పుడు కప్పలు ఎక్కివచ్చి ఐగుప్తు దేశమును కప్పెను.

6. So Aaron stretched forth his hand, over the waters of Egypt, and the frog came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

7. శకునగాండ్రు కూడ తమ మంత్రములవలన అలాగు చేసి ఐగుప్తు దేశము మీదికి కప్పలను రాజేసిరి.

7. And the sacred scribes did in like manner, with their secret arts, and brought up frogs over the land of Egypt.

8. అప్పుడు ఫరో మోషే అహరోనులను పిలిపించి నా యొద్దనుండి నా జనులయొద్ద నుండి ఈ కప్పలను తొలగించుమని యెహోవాను వేడుకొనుడి, అప్పుడు యెహోవాకు బలి అర్పించుటకు ఈ ప్రజలను అగత్యముగా పోనిచ్చెదననెను.

8. Then called Pharaoh for Moses and for Aaron and said Make entreaty unto Yahweh, that he take away the frogs from me and from my people, and I must lot the people go that they may sacrifice to Yahweh.

9. అందుకు మోషే నన్ను గెలిచినట్టుగా నీవు అతిశయింపవచ్చును, ఈ కప్పల శేషము ఏటిలోనే ఉండునట్లును అవి నీ మీదను నీ యిండ్లలోను ఉండకుండ చంపబడునట్లును నీ కొరకును నీ సేవకులకొరకును నీ ప్రజలకొరకును నేనెప్పుడూ వేడుకొనవలెనో చెప్పుమని ఫరోను అడుగగా అతడు రేపే అనెను.

9. And Moses said to Pharaoh Explain thyself unto me: For what time, shall I make entreaty for thee and for thy servants and for thy people, to cause the frogs to be cut off, from thee and from thy houses, only in the river, shall they remain?

10. అందుకతడు మా దేవుడైన యెహోవా వంటి వారెవరును లేరు అని నీవు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నీ మాట చొప్పున జరుగును;

10. And he said For to-morrow. And he said According to thy word! that thou mayest know that there is none like Yahweh, our God:

11. అనగా కప్పలు నీ యొద్ద నుండియు నీ యిండ్లలో నుండియు నీ సేవకుల యొద్ద నుండియు నీ ప్రజలయొద్దనుండియు తొలగి పోవును; అవి యేటిలోనే ఉండుననెను.

11. so the frogs shall depart from thee and from thy houses and from thy servants and from thy people, only in the river, shall they remain.

12. మోషే అహరోనులు ఫరో యొద్దనుండి బయలు వెళ్లినప్పుడు యెహోవా ఫరో మీదికి రాజేసిన కప్పల విషయములో మోషే అతనికొరకు మొఱపెట్టగా

12. Then went forth Moses and Aaron from Pharaoh, and Moses made outcry unto Yahweh, over the matter of the frogs which he had appointed for Pharaoh.

13. యెహోవా మోషే మాటచొప్పున చేసెను గనుక ఇండ్లలో నేమి వెలుపల నేమి పొలములలో నేమి కప్పలు ఉండకుండ చచ్చిపోయెను.

13. And Yahweh did according to the word of Moses, and the frogs died, out of the houses and out of the yards, and out of the fields;

14. జనులు వాటిని కుప్పలుగా చేసినప్పుడు భూమి కంపుకొట్టెను.

14. and they piled them up, heaps heaps, and the land became loathsome.

15. ఫరో ఉపశమనము కలుగుట చూచి యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినట్టు తన హృదయమును కఠినపరచుకొని వారి మాట వినకపోయెను.

15. But when Pharaoh saw that there had come a respite, then made he his heart dull and hearkened not unto them, as spake Yahweh.

16. అందుకు యెహోవా మోషేతో నీవు నీ కఱ్ఱ చాపి యీ దేశపు ధూళిని కొట్టుము. అది ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను పేలగునని అహరోనుతో చెప్పుమనగా వారు అట్లు చేసిరి.

16. Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Say unto Aaron Stretch forth thy staff, and smite the dust of the land, so shall it become gnats in all the land of Egypt.

17. అహరోను తన కఱ్ఱను పట్టుకొని చెయ్యి చాపి ఆ దేశపు ధూళిని కొట్టినప్పుడు పేలు మనుష్యులమీదను జంతువులమీదను ఉండెను; ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను ఆ దేశపు ధూళి అంతయు పేలాయెను¸

17. And they did so, and Aaron stretched forth his hand with his staff and smote the dust of the land, and there canto to be gnats, among men and among beasts, all the dust of the land, became gnats, in all the land of Egypt.

18. శకునగాండ్రు కూడ పేలను పుట్టించవలెనని తమ మంత్రములచేత అట్లు చేసిరి గాని అది వారివలన కాకపోయెను. పేలు మనుష్యులమీదను జంతువులమీదను ఉండగా

18. And the sacred scribes did in like manner with their secret arts, to bring forth the gnats, but they could not. So there came to be gnats, among men and among beasts.

19. శకునగాండ్రు ఇది దైవశక్తి అని ఫరోతో చెప్పిరి. అయితే యెహోవా చెప్పినట్టు ఫరో హృదయము కఠినమాయెను, అతడు వారిమాట వినకపోయెను.

19. Then said the sacred scribes unto Pharaoh, The finger of God, it is! But the heart of Pharaoh waxed bold and he hearkened not unto them, as spake Yahweh.

20. కాబట్టి యెహోవా మోషేతొ నీవు ప్రొద్దున లేచి ఫరో యెదుట నిలువుము, ఇదిగో అతడు ఏటియొద్దకు పోవును. నీవు అతని చూచి నన్ను సేవించుటకు నా ప్రజలను పోనిమ్ము.

20. Then said Yahweh unto Moses Rise thou early in the morning, and station thyself before Pharaoh, lo! he is coming forth to the waters, then shalt thou say unto him Thus, saith Yahweh: Let my people go, that they may serve me.

21. నీవు నా ప్రజలను పోనియ్యని యెడల చూడుము నేను నీ మీదికిని నీ సేవకుల మీదికిని నీ ప్రజలమీదికిని నీ యిండ్లలోనికి ఈగల గుంపులను పంపెదను; ఐగుప్తీయుల యిండ్లును వారున్న ప్రదేశమును ఈగల గుంపులతో నిండియుండును.

21. But if thou art not letting my people go, behold me! sending forth against thee, and against thy servants, and against thy people, and against thy houses the gad-fly, and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of the gad-fly, moreover also the ground whereon, they are:

22. మరియు భూలోకములో నేనే యెహోవాను అని నీవు తెలిసికొనునట్లు, ఆ దినమున నేను నా ప్రజలు నివసించుచున్న గోషెనుదేశమును వినాయించెదను, అక్కడ ఈగల గుంపులుండవు.

22. then will I make to differ on that day, the land of Goshen wherein my people do dwell, so that there shall not be there a gad-fly! in order that thou mayest know, that I, Yahweh, am in the midst of the land;

23. నా ప్రజలను నీ ప్రజలనుండి ప్రత్యేకపరచెదను, రేపు ఈ సూచక క్రియ జరుగునని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినట్టు నీవు చెప్పవలెననెను.

23. so will I put a separation betwixt my people and thy people. By to-morrow, shall come to pass this sign.

24. యెహోవా ఆలాగు చేసెను. బాధకరమైన ఈగలగుంపులు ఫరో యింటిలోకిని అతని సేవకుల యిండ్లలోకిని వచ్చి ఐగుప్తు దేశమంతట వ్యాపించెను. ఆ దేశము ఈగల గుంపులవలన చెడిపోయెను.

24. And Yahweh did so, and brought a grievous gad-fly unto the house of Pharaoh and the houses of his servants and in all the land of Egypt, and the land was laid waste by reason of the gad-fly.

25. అప్పుడు ఫరో మోషే అహరోనులను పిలిపించి మీరు వెళ్లి ఈ దేశములో మీ దేవునికి బలి అర్పించుడని వారితో చెప్పగా

25. Then did Pharaoh cry out unto Moses and to Aaron, and said-Go your way, sacrifice to your God, in the land.

26. మోషే అట్లు చేయతగదు; మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు మేము అర్పించవలసిన బలి ఐగుప్తీయులకు హేయము. ఇదిగో మేము ఐగుప్తీయులకు హేయమైన బలిని వారి కన్నుల యెదుట అర్పించిన యెడల వారు మమ్ము రాళ్లతో కొట్టి చంపుదురు గదా.

26. And Moses said: Not meet, is it, to do thus, for, an abomination to the Egyptians, we should sacrifice to Yahweh our God. Lo! could we sacrifice that which is an abomination to the Egyptians before their eyes and they not stone us?

27. మేము అరణ్యములోనికి మూడు దినముల ప్రయాణమంత దూరముపోయి మా దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాకు సెలవిచ్చినట్లు ఆయనకు బలి నర్పించుదుమనెను.

27. A journey of three days, must we go, in the desert, then will we sacrifice to Yahweh our God, as, Yahweh, hath said unto us.

28. అందుకు ఫరోమీరు అరణ్యములో మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు బలి నర్పించుటకు మిమ్మును పోనిచ్చెదను గాని దూరము పోవద్దు; మరియు నాకొరకు వేడుకొనుడనెను.

28. Then said Pharaoh: I, will let you go so shall ye sacrifice to Yahweh your God in the desert, only ye shall not go a, very long, journey, make ye entreaty for me.

29. అందుకు మోషే - నేను నీ యొద్దనుండి వెళ్లి రేపు ఈ యీగల గుంపులు ఫరో యొద్దనుండియు అతని సేవకుల యొద్దనుండియు అతని జనుల యొద్ద నుండియు తొలగి పోవునట్లు యెహోవాను వేడుకొందును గాని, యెహోవాకు బలి అర్పించుటకు ఫరో జనులను పోనియ్యక ఇకను వంచన చేయకూడదని చెప్పి

29. And Moses said: Lo! I, am going out from thee and will make entreaty unto Yahweh, so will he take away the gad-fly from Pharaoh from his servants, and from his people tomorrow, only let not Pharaoh again deceive, in not letting the people go, to sacrifice to Yahweh.

30. ఫరో యొద్దనుండి బయలువెళ్లి యెహోవాను వేడుకొనెను.

30. So Moses went out from Pharaoh, and made entreaty unto Yahweh.

31. యెహోవా మోషే మాట చొప్పున చేయగా ఈగల గుంపులు ఫరో యొద్ద నుండియు అతని సేవకుల యొద్ద నుండియు అతని ప్రజల యొద్దనుండియు తొలగిపోయెను; ఒక్కటియైనను నిలువలేదు.

31. And Yahweh did according to the word of Moses, and took away the gad-fly, from Pharaoh from his servants and from his people, there remained not, one.

32. అయితే ఫరో ఆ సమయమున కూడ తన హృదయమును కఠినపరచుకొని జనులను పోనియ్యడాయెను.

32. And Pharaoh made his heart dull, this time also, and did not let the people go.
