1. ఆమోజు కుమారుడైన యెషయాకు బబులోనుగూర్చి ప్రత్యక్షమైన దేవోక్తి

1. The burden of Babel, which Isaiah the sonne of Amoz did see.

2. జనులు ప్రధానుల ద్వారములలో ప్రవేశించుటకు చెట్లులేని కొండమీద ధ్వజము నిలువబెట్టుడి ఎలుగెత్తి వారిని పిలువుడి సంజ్ఞ చేయుడి.

2. Lift vp a standard vpon the hie mountaine: lift vp the voyce vnto them: wagge the hand, that they may goe into the gates of the nobles.

3. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితులైనవారికి నేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను నా కోపము తీర్చుకొనవలెనని నా పరాక్రమశాలురను పిలిపించియున్నాను నా ప్రభావమునుబట్టి హర్షించువారిని పిలిపించి యున్నాను.

3. I haue commanded them, that I haue sanctified: and I haue called ye mightie to my wrath, and them that reioyce in my glorie.

4. బహుజనులఘోషవలె కొండలలోని జనసమూహము వలన కలుగు శబ్దము వినుడి కూడుకొను రాజ్యముల జనములు చేయు అల్లరి శబ్దము వినుడి సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా యుద్ధమునకై తన సేనను వ్యూహక్రమముగా ఏర్పరచుచున్నాడు

4. The noyse of a multitude is in the mountaines, like a great people: a tumultuous voyce of the kingdomes of the nations gathered together: the Lord of hostes nombreth the hoste of the battell.

5. సర్వలోకమును పాడుచేయుటకై ఆయన దూరదేశమునుండి ఆకాశ దిగంతముల నుండి యెహోవాయును ఆయన క్రోధము తీర్చు ఆయుధములును వచ్చుచున్నారు.

5. They come from a farre countrey, from the end of the heauen: euen the Lord with the weapons of his wrath to destroy the whole land.

6. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది ఘోషించుడి అది ప్రళయమువలె సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవుని యొద్దనుండి వచ్చును.

6. Howle you, for the day of the Lord is at hande: it shall come as a destroier from the Almightie.

7. అందుచేత బాహువులన్నియు దుర్బలములగును ప్రతివాని గుండె కరగిపోవును

7. Therefore shall all hands be weakened, and all mens hearts shall melt,

8. జనులు విభ్రాంతినొందుదురు వేదనలు దుఃఖములు వారికి కలుగును ప్రసవవేదన పడుదానివలె వారు వేదనపడెదరు ఒకరినొకరు తేరి చూతురు వారి ముఖములు జ్వాలలవలె ఎఱ్ఱబారును.

8. And they shalbe afraid: anguish and sorowe shall take them, and they shall haue paine, as a woman that trauaileth: euery one shall be amased at his neighbour, and their faces shalbe like flames of fire.

9. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది. దేశమును పాడుచేయుటకును పాపులను బొత్తిగా దానిలోనుండకుండ నశింపజేయుట కును క్రూరమైన ఉగ్రతతోను ప్రచండమైన కోపము తోను అది వచ్చును.

9. Beholde, the day of the Lord commeth, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger to lay the land wast: and he shall destroy the sinners out of it.

10. ఆకాశ నక్షత్రములును నక్షత్రరాసులును తమ వెలుగు ప్రకాశింపనియ్యవు ఉదయకాలమున సూర్యుని చీకటి కమ్మును చంద్రుడు ప్రకాశింపడు.

10. For the starres of heauen and the planets thereof shall not giue their light: the sunne shalbe darkened in his going foorth, and the moone shall not cause her light to shine.

11. లోకుల చెడుతనమునుబట్టియు దుష్టుల దోషమునుబట్టియు నేను వారిని శిక్షింపబోవు చున్నాను అహంకారుల అతిశయమును మాన్పించెదను బలాత్కారుల గర్వమును అణచివేసెదను.

11. And I will visite the wickednes vpon the worlde, and their iniquitie vpon the wicked, and I wil cause the arrogancie of the proud to cease, and will cast downe the pride of tyrants.

12. బంగారుకంటె మనుష్యులును ఓఫీరు దేశపు సువర్ణముకంటె నరులును అరుదుగా ఉండ జేసెదను.

12. I will make a man more precious then fine golde, euen a man aboue the wedge of golde of Ophir.

13. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఉగ్రతకును ఆయన కోపాగ్ని దినమునకును ఆకాశము వణకునట్లును భూమి తన స్థానము తప్పునట్లును నేను చేసెదను.

13. Therefore I will shake the heauen, and the earth shall remooue out of her place in the wrath of the Lord of hostes, and in the day of his fierce anger.

14. అప్పుడు తరుమబడుచున్న జింకవలెను పోగుచేయని గొఱ్ఱెలవలెను జనులు తమ తమ స్వజనులతట్టు తిరుగుదురు తమ తమ స్వదేశములకు పారిపోవుదురు.

14. And it shall be as a chased doe, and as a sheepe that no man taketh vp. euery man shall turne to his owne people, and flee eche one to his owne lande.

15. పట్టబడిన ప్రతివాడును కత్తివాత కూలును తరిమి పట్టబడిన ప్రతివాడును కత్తివాత కూలును

15. Euery one that is founde, shall be striken through: and whosoeuer ioyneth himselfe, shall fal by the sworde.

16. వారు చూచుచుండగా వారి పసిపిల్లలు నలుగ గొట్టబడుదురు వారి యిండ్లు దోచుకొనబడును వారి భార్యలు చెరుపబడుదురు.

16. Their children also shall be broken in pieces before their eyes: their houses shall be spoiled, and their wiues rauished.

17. వారిమీద పడుటకు నేను మాదీయులను రేపెదను వీరు వెండిని లక్ష్యము చేయరు సువర్ణముకూడ వారికి రమ్యమైనది కాదు

17. Beholde, I will stirre vp the Medes against them, which shall not regarde siluer, nor be desirous of golde.

18. వారి విండ్లు ¸యౌవనస్థులను నలుగగొట్టును గర్భఫలమందు వారు జాలిపడరు పిల్లలను చూచి కరుణింపరు.

18. With bowes also shall they destroy ye children, and shall haue no compassion vpon the fruit of the wombe, and their eies shall not spare the children.

19. అప్పుడు రాజ్యములకు భూషణమును కల్దీయులకు అతిశ యాస్పదమును మాహాత్మ్యమునగు బబులోను దేవుడు పాడుచేసిన సొదొమ గొమొఱ్ఱాలవలెనగును.

19. And Babel the glorie of kingdomes, the beautie and pride of the Chaldeans, shall be as the destruction of God in Sodom and Gomorah.

20. అది మరెన్నడును నివాసస్థలముగా నుండదు తరతరములకు దానిలో ఎవడును కాపురముండడు అరబీయులలో ఒకడైనను అక్కడ తన గుడారము వేయడు గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరులు తమ మందలను అక్కడ పరుండ నియ్యరు

20. It shall not bee inhabited for euer, neither shall it be dwelled in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch his tents there, neither shall the shepheardes make their foldes there.

21. నక్కలు అక్కడ పండుకొనును గురుపోతులు వారి యిండ్లలో ఉండును నిప్పుకోళ్లు అక్కడ నివసించును కొండమేకలు అక్కడ గంతులు వేయును

21. But Ziim shall lodge there, and their houses shall be ful of Ohim: Ostriches shall dwel there, and the Satyrs shall dance there.

22. వారి నగరులలో నక్కలును వారి సుఖవిలాస మందిర ములలో అడవికుక్కలును మొరలిడును ఆ దేశమునకు కాలము సమీపించియున్నది దాని దినములు సంకుచితములు.

22. And Iim shall crie in their palaces, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and the time thereof is readie to come, and the daies thereof shall not be prolonged.
