1. ఆమోజు కుమారుడైన యెషయాకు బబులోనుగూర్చి ప్రత్యక్షమైన దేవోక్తి

1. This is a prophecy about Bavel, which Yesha'yahu the son of Amotz saw:

2. జనులు ప్రధానుల ద్వారములలో ప్రవేశించుటకు చెట్లులేని కొండమీద ధ్వజము నిలువబెట్టుడి ఎలుగెత్తి వారిని పిలువుడి సంజ్ఞ చేయుడి.

2. Hoist a banner on a high mountain, shout to [[the invaders]]; beckon them to enter the Nobles' Gate.

3. నాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితులైనవారికి నేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను నా కోపము తీర్చుకొనవలెనని నా పరాక్రమశాలురను పిలిపించియున్నాను నా ప్రభావమునుబట్టి హర్షించువారిని పిలిపించి యున్నాను.

3. I have ordered my holy ones, summoned my heroes, eager and bold, to execute my anger.'

4. బహుజనులఘోషవలె కొండలలోని జనసమూహము వలన కలుగు శబ్దము వినుడి కూడుకొను రాజ్యముల జనములు చేయు అల్లరి శబ్దము వినుడి సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా యుద్ధమునకై తన సేనను వ్యూహక్రమముగా ఏర్పరచుచున్నాడు

4. Listen! A tumult on the mountains- it sounds like a vast multitude! Listen! The uproar of the kingdoms of the nations gathering together! [ADONAI-Tzva'ot] is mustering an army for war.

5. సర్వలోకమును పాడుచేయుటకై ఆయన దూరదేశమునుండి ఆకాశ దిగంతముల నుండి యెహోవాయును ఆయన క్రోధము తీర్చు ఆయుధములును వచ్చుచున్నారు.

5. They come from a distant land, from beyond the horizon. It's ADONAI, with the weapons of his rage, to lay waste to all the earth.

6. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది ఘోషించుడి అది ప్రళయమువలె సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవుని యొద్దనుండి వచ్చును.

6. Howl! for the Day of ADONAI is at hand, destruction coming from [Shaddai].

7. అందుచేత బాహువులన్నియు దుర్బలములగును ప్రతివాని గుండె కరగిపోవును

7. This is why every arm will hang limp and everyone's courage melt away.

8. జనులు విభ్రాంతినొందుదురు వేదనలు దుఃఖములు వారికి కలుగును ప్రసవవేదన పడుదానివలె వారు వేదనపడెదరు ఒకరినొకరు తేరి చూతురు వారి ముఖములు జ్వాలలవలె ఎఱ్ఱబారును.

8. They will be gripped by panic, seized with pain and agony, writhing like a woman in labor, looking aghast at each other, faces aflame.

9. యెహోవా దినము వచ్చుచున్నది. దేశమును పాడుచేయుటకును పాపులను బొత్తిగా దానిలోనుండకుండ నశింపజేయుట కును క్రూరమైన ఉగ్రతతోను ప్రచండమైన కోపము తోను అది వచ్చును.

9. Here comes the Day of ADONAI, full of cruelty, rage and hot fury, to desolate the earth and destroy the sinners in it.

10. ఆకాశ నక్షత్రములును నక్షత్రరాసులును తమ వెలుగు ప్రకాశింపనియ్యవు ఉదయకాలమున సూర్యుని చీకటి కమ్మును చంద్రుడు ప్రకాశింపడు.

10. For the stars, the constellations in the sky, will no longer give their light; the sun will be dark when it rises; and the moon will no longer shine.

11. లోకుల చెడుతనమునుబట్టియు దుష్టుల దోషమునుబట్టియు నేను వారిని శిక్షింపబోవు చున్నాను అహంకారుల అతిశయమును మాన్పించెదను బలాత్కారుల గర్వమును అణచివేసెదను.

11. I will punish the world for its evil and the wicked for their iniquity. I will end the arrogance of the proud and humble the insolence of tyrants.

12. బంగారుకంటె మనుష్యులును ఓఫీరు దేశపు సువర్ణముకంటె నరులును అరుదుగా ఉండ జేసెదను.

12. I will make humans rarer than gold, scarcer than Ofir's pure gold.

13. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఉగ్రతకును ఆయన కోపాగ్ని దినమునకును ఆకాశము వణకునట్లును భూమి తన స్థానము తప్పునట్లును నేను చేసెదను.

13. This is why I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken from its place at the wrath of ADONAI-[Tzva'ot] on the day of his fierce anger.

14. అప్పుడు తరుమబడుచున్న జింకవలెను పోగుచేయని గొఱ్ఱెలవలెను జనులు తమ తమ స్వజనులతట్టు తిరుగుదురు తమ తమ స్వదేశములకు పారిపోవుదురు.

14. Then, like a hunted gazelle, like sheep with no one to gather them, everyone will head back to his own people; everyone will flee to his own land.

15. పట్టబడిన ప్రతివాడును కత్తివాత కూలును తరిమి పట్టబడిన ప్రతివాడును కత్తివాత కూలును

15. Anyone found will be pierced through; anyone caught will fall by the sword,

16. వారు చూచుచుండగా వారి పసిపిల్లలు నలుగ గొట్టబడుదురు వారి యిండ్లు దోచుకొనబడును వారి భార్యలు చెరుపబడుదురు.

16. their babies dashed to pieces before their eyes, their houses looted, their wives raped.

17. వారిమీద పడుటకు నేను మాదీయులను రేపెదను వీరు వెండిని లక్ష్యము చేయరు సువర్ణముకూడ వారికి రమ్యమైనది కాదు

17. I will stir up against them the Medes, who cannot be tempted by silver or bought off with gold.

18. వారి విండ్లు ¸యౌవనస్థులను నలుగగొట్టును గర్భఫలమందు వారు జాలిపడరు పిల్లలను చూచి కరుణింపరు.

18. Their bows will tear young men to pieces, they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb, their eye will not spare children.'

19. అప్పుడు రాజ్యములకు భూషణమును కల్దీయులకు అతిశ యాస్పదమును మాహాత్మ్యమునగు బబులోను దేవుడు పాడుచేసిన సొదొమ గొమొఱ్ఱాలవలెనగును.

19. Thus Bavel, that jewel of kingdoms, the pride and glory of the Kasdim, will be like S'dom and 'Amora when overthrown by God.

20. అది మరెన్నడును నివాసస్థలముగా నుండదు తరతరములకు దానిలో ఎవడును కాపురముండడు అరబీయులలో ఒకడైనను అక్కడ తన గుడారము వేయడు గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరులు తమ మందలను అక్కడ పరుండ నియ్యరు

20. It will never again be inhabited, never lived in through all generations. Arabs will not pitch tents there nor shepherds bring their flocks.

21. నక్కలు అక్కడ పండుకొనును గురుపోతులు వారి యిండ్లలో ఉండును నిప్పుకోళ్లు అక్కడ నివసించును కొండమేకలు అక్కడ గంతులు వేయును

21. But wildcats will lie there, their houses will be full of owls, ostriches will live there, and wild goats will dance there.

22. వారి నగరులలో నక్కలును వారి సుఖవిలాస మందిర ములలో అడవికుక్కలును మొరలిడును ఆ దేశమునకు కాలము సమీపించియున్నది దాని దినములు సంకుచితములు.

22. Jackals will howl in their palaces and wild dogs in their temples of delight. Its time is close at hand, its days will not last long.
