1. ఏలయనగా యెహోవా యాకోబునందు జాలిపడును ఇంకను ఇశ్రాయేలును ఏర్పరచుకొనును వారిని స్వదేశములో నివసింపజేయును పరదేశులు వారిని కలిసికొందురు వారు యాకోబు కుటుంబమును హత్తుకొనియుందురు

1. For the LORD will have compassion on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the stranger shall join himself with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

2. జనములు వారిని తీసికొనివచ్చి వారి స్వదేశమున వారిని ప్రవేశపెట్టుదురు ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశస్థులు యెహోవా దేశములోవారిని దాసులనుగాను పనికత్తెలనుగాను స్వాధీనపరచు కొందురు వారు తమ్మును చెరలో పెట్టినవారిని చెరలో పెట్టి

2. And the peoples shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and for handmaids: and they shall take them captive, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.

3. తమ్మును బాధించినవారిని ఏలుదురు.

3. And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy trouble, and from the hard service wherein thou wast made to serve,

4. నీ బాధను నీ ప్రయాసమును నీచేత చేయింపబడిన కఠినదాస్యమును కొట్టివేసి యెహోవా నిన్ను విశ్రమింపజేయు దినమున నీవు బబులోనురాజును గూర్చి అపహాస్యపు గీతము ఎత్తి యీలాగున పాడుదువు బాధించినవారు ఎట్లు నశించిపోయిరి? రేగుచుండిన పట్టణము ఎట్లు నాశనమాయెను?

4. that thou shalt take up this parable against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

5. దుష్టుల దుడ్డుకఱ్ఱను మానని హత్యచేత జనములను క్రూరముగా కొట్టిన ఏలికల రాజదండమును యెహోవా విరుగగొట్టియున్నాడు.

5. The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, the sceptre of the rulers;

6. వారు ఆగ్రహపడి మానని బలాత్కారముచేత జనములను లోపరచిరి.

6. that smote the peoples in wrath with a continual stroke, that ruled the nations in anger, with a persecution that none restrained.

7. భూలోకమంతయు నిమ్మళించి విశ్రమించుచున్నది జనములు పాడసాగుదురు. నీవు పండుకొనినప్పటినుండి నరుకువాడెవడును మా మీదికి రాలేదని

7. The whole earth is at rest, {cf15i and} is quiet: they break forth into singing.

8. నిన్నుగూర్చి తమాలవృక్షములు లెబానోను దేవదారువృక్షములు హర్షించును

8. Yea, the fir trees rejoice at thee, {cf15i and} the cedars of Lebanon, {cf15i saying}, Since thou art laid down, no feller is come up against us.

9. నీవు ప్రవేశించుచుండగానే నిన్ను ఎదుర్కొనుటకై క్రింద పాతాళము నీ విషయమై కలవరపడుచున్నది. అది నిన్ను చూచి ప్రేతలను రేపుచున్నది భూమిలో పుట్టిన సమస్త శూరులను జనముల రాజుల నందరినివారి వారి సింహాసనములమీదనుండి లేపుచున్నది

9. Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

10. వారందరు నిన్ను చూచినీవును మావలె బలహీనుడ వైతివా? నీవును మాబోటివాడవైతివా? అందురు.

10. All they shall answer and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

11. నీ మహాత్మ్యమును నీ స్వరమండలముల స్వరమును పాతాళమున పడవేయబడెను. నీ క్రింద పురుగులు వ్యాపించును కీటకములు నిన్ను కప్పును.

11. Thy pomp is brought down to hell, {cf15i and} the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and worms cover thee.

12. తేజోనక్షత్రమా, వేకువచుక్కా, నీవెట్లు ఆకాశమునుండి పడితివి? జనములను పడగొట్టిన నీవు నేలమట్టమువరకు ఎట్లు నరకబడితివి?

12. How art thou fallen from heaven, O day star, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst lay low the nations!

13. నేను ఆకాశమున కెక్కిపోయెదను దేవుని నక్షత్రములకు పైగా నా సింహాసనమును హెచ్చింతును ఉత్తరదిక్కుననున్న సభాపర్వతముమీద కూర్చుందును

13. And thou saidst in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; and I will sit upon the mount of congregation, in the uttermost parts of the north:

14. మేఘమండలముమీది కెక్కుదును మహోన్నతునితో నన్ను సమానునిగా చేసికొందును అని నీవు మనస్సులో అనుకొంటివిగదా?

14. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.

15. నీవు పాతాళమునకు నరకములో ఒక మూలకు త్రోయబడితివే.

15. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the uttermost parts of the pit.

16. నిన్ను చూచువారు నిన్ను నిదానించి చూచుచు ఇట్లు తలపోయుదురు

16. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, they shall consider thee, {cf15i saying}, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17. భూమిని కంపింపజేసి రాజ్యములను వణకించినవాడు ఇతడేనా? లోకమును అడవిగాచేసి దాని పట్టణములను పాడు చేసినవాడు ఇతడేనా? తాను చెరపట్టినవారిని తమ నివాసస్థలమునకు పో నియ్యనివాడు ఇతడేనా?

17. that made the world as a wilderness, and overthrew the cities thereof; that let not loose his prisoners to their home?

18. జనముల రాజులందరు ఘనత వహించినవారై తమ తమ నగరులయందు నిద్రించుచున్నారు.

18. All the kings of the nations, all of them, sleep in glory, every one in his own house.

19. నీవు సమాధి పొందక పారవేయబడిన కొమ్మవలె నున్నావు. ఖడ్గముచేత పొడువబడి చచ్చినవారి శవములతో కప్పబడినవాడవైతివి త్రొక్కబడిన పీనుగువలెనైతివి బిలముయొక్క రాళ్లయొద్దకు దిగుచున్నవానివలెనున్నావు

19. But thou art cast forth away from thy sepulchre like an abominable branch, clothed with the slain, that are thrust through with the sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under foot.

20. నీవు నీ దేశమును పాడుచేసి నీ ప్రజలను హతమార్చితివి నీవు సమాధిలో వారితోకూడ కలిసియుండవు దుష్టుల సంతానము ఎన్నడును జ్ఞాపకమునకు తేబడదు.

20. Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, thou hast slain thy people; the seed of evildoers shall not be named for ever.

21. వారు పెరిగి భూమిని స్వతంత్రించుకొని పట్టణము లతో లోకమును నింపకుండునట్లు తమ పితరుల దోషమునుబట్టి అతని కుమారులను వధిం చుటకు దొడ్డి సిద్ధపరచుడి.

21. Prepare ye slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they rise not up, and possess the earth, and fill the face of the world with cities.

22. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా వాక్కు ఇదే నేను వారిమీదికి లేచి బబులోనునుండి నామమును శేషమును కుమారుని మనుమని కొట్టి వేసెదనని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

22. And I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon name and remnant, and son and sons son, saith the LORD.

23. నేను దానిని తుంబోడికి స్వాధీనముగాను నీటి మడుగులగాను చేయుదును. నాశనమను చీపురుకట్టతో దాని తుడిచివేసెదను అని సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు.

23. I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

24. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ప్రమాణ పూర్వ కముగా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను ఉద్దేశించినట్లు నిశ్చయముగా జరుగును నేను యోచించినట్లు స్థిరపడును.

24. The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

25. నా దేశములో అష్షూరును సంహరించెదను నా పర్వతములమీద వాని నలుగద్రొక్కెదను వాని కాడి నా జనులమీదనుండి తొలగిపోవును వాని భారము వారి భుజముమీదనుండి తొలగింప బడును.

25. that I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart from off their shoulder.

26. సర్వలోకమునుగూర్చి నేను చేసిన ఆలోచన ఇదే జనములందరిమీద చాపబడిన బాహువు ఇదే.

26. This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.

27. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా దాని నియమించి యున్నాడు రద్దుపరచగలవాడెవడు? బాహువు చాచినవాడు ఆయనే దాని త్రిప్పగలవాడెవడు?

27. For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?

28. రాజైన ఆహాజు మరణమైన సంవత్సరమున వచ్చిన దేవోక్తి

28. In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.

29. ఫిలిష్తియా, నిన్ను కొట్టిన దండము తుత్తునియలుగా విరువబడెనని అంతగా సంతోషింపకుము సర్పబీజమునుండి మిడునాగు పుట్టును దాని ఫలము ఎగురు సర్పము.

29. Rejoice not, O Philistia, all of thee, because the rod that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpents root shall come forth a basilisk, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

30. అప్పుడు అతిబీదలైనవారు భోజనము చేయుదురు దరిద్రులు సురక్షితముగా పండుకొందురు కరవుచేత నీ బీజమును చంపెదను అది నీ శేషమును హతము చేయును.

30. And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down in safety: and I will kill thy root with famine, and thy remnant shall be slain.

31. గుమ్మమా, ప్రలాపింపుమీ, పట్టణమా, అంగలార్పుమీ. ఫిలిష్తియా, నీవు బొత్తిగా కరిగిపోయియున్నావు ఉత్తరదిక్కునుండి పొగ లేచుచున్నది వచ్చువారి పటాలములలో వెనుకతీయువాడు ఒకడును లేడు.

31. Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou art melted away, O Philistia, all of thee; for there cometh a smoke out of the north, and none standeth aloof at his appointed times.

32. జనముల దూత కియ్యవలసిన ప్రత్యుత్తరమేది? యెహోవా సీయోనును స్థాపించియున్నాడు ఆయన జనులలో శ్రమనొందినవారు దాని ఆశ్రయింతురు అని చెప్పవలెను.

32. What then shall one answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and in her shall the afflicted of his people take refuge.
