1. తూరునుగూర్చిన దేవోక్తి తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి తూరు పాడైపోయెను ఇల్లయినను లేదు ప్రవేశమార్గమైనను లేదు కిత్తీయుల దేశమునుండి ఆ సంగతి వారికి వెల్లడి చేయబడెను.
మత్తయి 11:21-22

1. The oracle on Tyre, Howl! ye ships of Tarshish, For it is laid too waste to be a haven to enter, From the land of Cyprus, hath it been unveiled to them.

2. సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగలార్చుడి సముద్రము దాటుచుండు సీదోను వర్తకులు తమ సరకులతో నిన్ను నింపిరి.

2. Be dumb, ye inhabitants of the Coast, Whom the merchants of Zidon, passing over the sea, once replenished;

3. షీహోరు నది ధాన్యము నైలునది పంట సముద్రముమీద నీలోనికి తేబడుచుండెను తూరువలన జనములకు లాభము వచ్చెను.

3. Yea on mighty waters, was the grain of Shihor, The harvest of the Nile, was her increase, And so she became a mart of nations.

4. సీదోనూ, సిగ్గుపడుము, సముద్రము సముద్రదుర్గము మాటలాడుచున్నది నేను ప్రసవవేదనపడనిదానను పిల్లలు కననిదానను ¸యౌవనస్థులను పోషింపనిదానను కన్యకలను పెంచనిదానను.

4. Turn thou pale, O Zidon, For spoken hath the sea, the fortress of the sea saying, I have neither been in pangs nor given birth I have neither brought up young men nor promoted virgins.

5. ఆ వర్తమానము ఐగుప్తీయులు విని తూరును గూర్చి మిక్కిలి దుఃఖింతురు.

5. Like the report of Egypt, They shall be in pangs at the like report of Tyre.

6. తర్షీషునకు వెళ్లుడి సముద్రతీరవాసులారా, అంగ లార్చుడి.

6. Pass ye over to Tarshish, Howl ye inhabitants of the Coast:

7. నీకు సంతోషము కలుగజేసిన పట్టణమిదేనా? ప్రాచీన కాలముననుండిన పట్టణమిదేనా? పరదేశనివాసముచేయుటకు దూరప్రయాణముచేసిన దిదేనా?

7. Is this to you an exultation? Though from ancient day, is her antiquity, Yet shall her own feet carry her away, far off to dwell.

8. దాని వర్తకులు రాజసమానులు దాని వ్యాపారులు భూనివాసులలో ఘనులు కిరీటముల నిచ్చుచుండు తూరుకు ఈలాగు చేయ నెవడు ఉద్దేశించెను?

8. Who hath purposed this, against Tyre, The bestower of crowns, Whose merchants are princes, Her traders the honourable of the earth?

9. సర్వసౌందర్య గర్వాతిశయమును అపవిత్రపరచుట కును భూమిమీదనున్న సర్వఘనులను అవమానపరచుటకును సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు చేయ నుద్దేశించెను.

9. Yahweh of hosts, hath purposed it, To humble the pride of all beauty, To make of little esteem all the honourable of the earth.

10. తర్షీషుకుమారీ, నీ దేశమునకిక నడికట్టు లేకపోయెను నైలునది ప్రవహించునట్లు దానిమీద ప్రవహించుము.

10. Pass through thy land as the Nile, O daughter of Tarshish, there is no restraint any longer!

11. ఆయన సముద్రముమీద తన చెయ్యి చాపెను రాజ్యములను కంపింపజేసెను కనానుకోటలను నశింపజేయుటకు యెహోవా దాని గూర్చి ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

11. His hand, hath he stretched out over the sea, He hath shaken kingdoms, Yahweh, hath given command against she Phoenician coast, To destroy her fortresses.

12. మరియు ఆయన సీదోను కన్యకా, చెరపబడినదానా, నీకికను సంతోషముండదు నీవు లేచి కిత్తీముకు దాటి పొమ్ము అక్కడనైనను నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగదు

12. Therefore hath he said, No more, again, do thou exult, Thou violated virgin daughter of Zidon, To Cyprus, arise and pass over, Even there, shall one find thee no rest.

13. ఇదిగో కల్దీయుల దేశమును చూడుము వారికను జనముగా ఉండరు అష్షూరీయులు దానిని అడవిమృగములకు నివాసముగా చేసియున్నారు. వారు కోటలు కట్టించి దాని నగరులను పడగొట్టి యున్నారు.

13. Lo! the land of the Chaldeans, This is the people that was not, Assyria, founded it for the inhabitants of the desert, They set up its siege-towers, They demolished its palaces Made it a ruin!

14. తర్షీషు ఓడలారా, అంగలార్చుడి, మీ దుర్గము పాడై పోయెను.

14. Howl, ye ships of Tarshish, For laid waste is your fortress.

15. ఒక రాజు ఏలుబడిలో జరిగినట్లు తూరు ఆ దినమున డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములు మరవబడును డెబ్బది సంవత్సరములైన తరువాత వేశ్యల కీర్తనలో ఉన్నట్లు జరుగును, ఏమనగా

15. So shall it be in that day, That Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, According to the days of a certain king: At the end of seventy years, shall it befall Tyre according to the song of the harlot:

16. మరవబడిన వేశ్యా, సితారాతీసికొని పట్టణములో తిరుగులాడుము నీవు జ్ఞాపకమునకు వచ్చునట్లు ఇంపుగా వాయిం చుము అనేక కీర్తనలు పాడుము.

16. Take thou a lyre, Go round the city, O harlot forgotten, Sweetly touch the strings Lengthen out the song, That thou mayest be called to mind.

17. డెబ్బది సంవత్సరముల అంతమున యెహోవా తూరును దర్శించును అది వేశ్యజీతమునకు మరల భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త లోక రాజ్యములతో వ్యభిచారము చేయును.

17. So shall it be, at the end of seventy years, That Yahweh will visit Tyre, And she will return to her hire, Yea she will play the harlot with all the kingdoms of the earth, upon the face of the ground.

18. వేశ్యజీతముగా ఉన్నదాని వర్తకలాభము యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠితమగును అది కూర్చబడదు ధననిధిలో వేయబడదు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నివసించువారికి సంతుష్టి ఇచ్చు భోజనమునకును ప్రశస్త వస్త్రములకును ఆ పట్టణపు లాభము ఆధారముగా నుండును.

18. But her merchandise and her hire, shall be hallowed unto Yahweh, It shall not be stored up, nor hoarded, For, to them who dwell before Yahweh, shall her merchandise belong, That they may eat to satisfaction And have stately apparel.
