1. రాష్ట్రములారా, నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి వినుడి జనములారా, చెవి యొగ్గి ఆలకించుడి భూమియు దాని సంపూర్ణతయు లోకమును దానిలో పుట్టినదంతయు వినును గాక.

1. Come here and listen, O nations of the earth. Let the world and everything in it hear my words.

2. యెహోవా కోపము సమస్త జనములమీదికి వచ్చు చున్నది వారి సర్వ సైన్యములమీద ఆయన క్రోధము వచ్చు చున్నది ఆయన వారిని శపించి వధకు అప్పగించెను.

2. For the LORD is enraged against the nations. His fury is against all their armies. He will completely destroy them, dooming them to slaughter.

3. వారిలో చంపబడినవారు బయట వేయబడెదరు వారి శవములు కంపుకొట్టును వారి రక్తమువలన కొండలు కరగిపోవును.

3. Their dead will be left unburied, and the stench of rotting bodies will fill the land. The mountains will flow with their blood.

4. ఆకాశ సైన్యమంతయు క్షీణించును కాగితపు చుట్టవలె ఆకాశవైశాల్యములు చుట్టబడును. ద్రాక్షావల్లినుండి ఆకు వాడి రాలునట్లు అంజూరపుచెట్టునుండి వాడినది రాలునట్లు వాటి సైన్యమంతయు రాలిపోవును.

4. The heavens above will melt away and disappear like a rolled-up scroll. The stars will fall from the sky like withered leaves from a grapevine, or shriveled figs from a fig tree.

5. నిజముగా ఆకాశమందు నా ఖడ్గము మత్తిల్లును ఎదోముమీద తీర్పుతీర్చుటకు నేను శపించిన జనముమీద తీర్పుతీర్చుటకు అది దిగును

5. And when my sword has finished its work in the heavens, it will fall upon Edom, the nation I have marked for destruction.

6. యెహోవా ఖడ్గము రక్తమయమగును అది క్రొవ్వుచేత కప్పబడును గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలయొక్కయు మేకలయొక్కయు రక్తము చేతను పొట్లేళ్ల మూత్రగ్రంథులమీది క్రొవ్వుచేతను కప్ప బడును ఏలయనగా బొస్రాలో యెహోవా బలి జరిగించును ఎదోము దేశములో ఆయన మహా సంహారము చేయును.

6. The sword of the LORD is drenched with blood and covered with fat-- with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of rams prepared for sacrifice. Yes, the LORD will offer a sacrifice in the city of Bozrah. He will make a mighty slaughter in Edom.

7. వాటితోకూడ గురుపోతులును వృషభములును కోడె లును దిగిపోవుచున్నవి ఎదోమీయుల భూమి రక్తముతో నానుచున్నది వారి మన్ను క్రొవ్వుతో బలిసియున్నది.

7. Even men as strong as wild oxen will die-- the young men alongside the veterans. The land will be soaked with blood and the soil enriched with fat.

8. అది యెహోవా ప్రతిదండనచేయు దినము సీయోను వ్యాజ్యెమునుగూర్చిన ప్రతికార సంవత్సరము.

8. For it is the day of the LORD's revenge, the year when Edom will be paid back for all it did to Israel.

9. ఎదోము కాలువలు కీలగును దాని మన్ను గంధకముగా మార్చబడును దాని భూమి దహించు గంధకముగా ఉండును.

9. The streams of Edom will be filled with burning pitch, and the ground will be covered with fire.

10. అది రేయింబగళ్లు ఆరక యుండును దాని పొగ నిత్యము లేచును అది తరతరములు పాడుగా నుండును ఎన్నడును ఎవడును దానిలో బడి దాటడు

10. This judgment on Edom will never end; the smoke of its burning will rise forever. The land will lie deserted from generation to generation. No one will live there anymore.

11. గూడబాతులును ఏదుపందులును దాని ఆక్రమించు కొనును గుడ్లగూబయు కాకియు దానిలో నివసించును ఆయన తారుమారు అను కొలనూలును చాచును శూన్యమను గుండును పట్టును.

11. It will be haunted by the desert owl and the screech owl, the great owl and the raven. For God will measure that land carefully; he will measure it for chaos and destruction.

12. రాజ్యము ప్రకటించుటకు వారి ప్రధానులు అక్కడ లేకపోవుదురు దాని అధిపతులందరు గతమైపోయిరి.

12. It will be called the Land of Nothing, and all its nobles will soon be gone.

13. ఎదోము నగరులలో ముళ్లచెట్లు పెరుగును దాని దుర్గములలో దురదగొండ్లును గచ్చలును పుట్టును అది అడవికుక్కలకు నివాసస్థలముగాను నిప్పుకోళ్లకు సాలగాను ఉండును

13. Thorns will overrun its palaces; nettles and thistles will grow in its forts. The ruins will become a haunt for jackals and a home for owls.

14. అడవిపిల్లులును నక్కలును అచ్చట కలిసికొనును అచ్చట అడవిమేక తనతోటి జంతువును కనుగొనును అచ్చట చువ్వపిట్ట దిగి విశ్రమస్థలము చూచుకొనును

14. Desert animals will mingle there with hyenas, their howls filling the night. Wild goats will bleat at one another among the ruins, and night creatures will come there to rest.

15. చిత్తగూబ గూడు కట్టుకొనును అచ్చట గుడ్లు పెట్టి పొదిగి నీడలో వాటిని కూర్చును అచ్చటనే తెల్లగద్దలు తమ జాతిపక్షులతో కూడు కొనును.

15. There the owl will make her nest and lay her eggs. She will hatch her young and cover them with her wings. And the buzzards will come, each one with its mate.

16. యెహోవా గ్రంథమును పరిశీలించి చదువుకొనుడి ఆ జంతువులలో ఏదియు లేక యుండదు దేని జతపక్షి దానియొద్ద ఉండక మానదు నా నోటనుండి వచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞ యిదే ఆయన నోటి ఊపిరి వాటిని పోగుచేయును.

16. Search the book of the LORD, and see what he will do. Not one of these birds and animals will be missing, and none will lack a mate, for the LORD has promised this. His Spirit will make it all come true.

17. అవి రావలెనని ఆయన చీట్లువేసెను ఆయన కొలనూలు చేత పట్టుకొని వాటికి ఆ దేశమును పంచిపెట్టును. అవి నిత్యము దాని ఆక్రమించుకొనును యుగయుగములు దానిలో నివసించును.

17. He has surveyed and divided the land and deeded it over to those creatures. They will possess it forever, from generation to generation.
