1. రాష్ట్రములారా, నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి వినుడి జనములారా, చెవి యొగ్గి ఆలకించుడి భూమియు దాని సంపూర్ణతయు లోకమును దానిలో పుట్టినదంతయు వినును గాక.

1. Come near ye nations to hear, And, ye races, attend, Let the earth hear, and the fulness thereof, The world and all things produced therefrom:

2. యెహోవా కోపము సమస్త జనములమీదికి వచ్చు చున్నది వారి సర్వ సైన్యములమీద ఆయన క్రోధము వచ్చు చున్నది ఆయన వారిని శపించి వధకు అప్పగించెను.

2. That Yahweh hath wrath against all the nations, and indignation against all their host, He hath devoted them to destruction He hath delivered them to slaughter;

3. వారిలో చంపబడినవారు బయట వేయబడెదరు వారి శవములు కంపుకొట్టును వారి రక్తమువలన కొండలు కరగిపోవును.

3. And their slain shall be cast out, And their carcases, the stench of them shall ascend, And, the mountains, shall melt away with their blood.

4. ఆకాశ సైన్యమంతయు క్షీణించును కాగితపు చుట్టవలె ఆకాశవైశాల్యములు చుట్టబడును. ద్రాక్షావల్లినుండి ఆకు వాడి రాలునట్లు అంజూరపుచెట్టునుండి వాడినది రాలునట్లు వాటి సైన్యమంతయు రాలిపోవును.

4. Then shall be dissolved all the host of the heavens, And the heavens shall roll up as a scroll, Yea, all their host, shall fade Like the fading and falling of a leaf from a vine, and Like what fadeth and falleth from a fig-tree.

5. నిజముగా ఆకాశమందు నా ఖడ్గము మత్తిల్లును ఎదోముమీద తీర్పుతీర్చుటకు నేను శపించిన జనముమీద తీర్పుతీర్చుటకు అది దిగును

5. For my sword hath been sated in the heavens, Lo! upon Edom, shall it descend, Even on the people whom I have devoted to justice.

6. యెహోవా ఖడ్గము రక్తమయమగును అది క్రొవ్వుచేత కప్పబడును గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లలయొక్కయు మేకలయొక్కయు రక్తము చేతను పొట్లేళ్ల మూత్రగ్రంథులమీది క్రొవ్వుచేతను కప్ప బడును ఏలయనగా బొస్రాలో యెహోవా బలి జరిగించును ఎదోము దేశములో ఆయన మహా సంహారము చేయును.

6. A sword, hath Yahweh Glutted with blood Sated with fat, With the blood of well-fed lambs and he-goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams, For, a sacrifice, hath Yahweh in Bozrah, Yea a great slaughter in the land of Edom;

7. వాటితోకూడ గురుపోతులును వృషభములును కోడె లును దిగిపోవుచున్నవి ఎదోమీయుల భూమి రక్తముతో నానుచున్నది వారి మన్ను క్రొవ్వుతో బలిసియున్నది.

7. Then shall buffaloes come down with them, And bullocks with bulls, So shall their land be soaked with blood, And, their dust, with fat, shall be enriched.

8. అది యెహోవా ప్రతిదండనచేయు దినము సీయోను వ్యాజ్యెమునుగూర్చిన ప్రతికార సంవత్సరము.

8. For a day of avenging, hath Yahweh, A year of requitals for the quarrel of Zion.

9. ఎదోము కాలువలు కీలగును దాని మన్ను గంధకముగా మార్చబడును దాని భూమి దహించు గంధకముగా ఉండును.

9. Then shall the torrents thereof be turned into pitch, And the dust thereof, into brimstone, So shall her land become burning pitch:

10. అది రేయింబగళ్లు ఆరక యుండును దాని పొగ నిత్యము లేచును అది తరతరములు పాడుగా నుండును ఎన్నడును ఎవడును దానిలో బడి దాటడు

10. Neither night nor day, shall it be quenched, To times age-abiding, shall ascend the smoke thereof, From generation to generation, shall it be waste, Never, never, shall any pass through it:

11. గూడబాతులును ఏదుపందులును దాని ఆక్రమించు కొనును గుడ్లగూబయు కాకియు దానిలో నివసించును ఆయన తారుమారు అను కొలనూలును చాచును శూన్యమను గుండును పట్టును.

11. That the vomiting pelican and the bittern may possess it: And the great owl and the raven, dwell therein; Then will he stretch out over it The line of desolation, and The plummet of emptiness.

12. రాజ్యము ప్రకటించుటకు వారి ప్రధానులు అక్కడ లేకపోవుదురు దాని అధిపతులందరు గతమైపోయిరి.

12. Her nobles (but none, are, there)! unto royalty, will call, All, all her princes, shall become nought.

13. ఎదోము నగరులలో ముళ్లచెట్లు పెరుగును దాని దుర్గములలో దురదగొండ్లును గచ్చలును పుట్టును అది అడవికుక్కలకు నివాసస్థలముగాను నిప్పుకోళ్లకు సాలగాను ఉండును

13. Then shall come up, in her palaces thorns Nettles and thistles in her fortresses, And she shall become A home for wild dogs, An enclosure for ostriches;

14. అడవిపిల్లులును నక్కలును అచ్చట కలిసికొనును అచ్చట అడవిమేక తనతోటి జంతువును కనుగొనును అచ్చట చువ్వపిట్ట దిగి విశ్రమస్థలము చూచుకొనును

14. Then shall criers meet with howlers, And, the shaggy creature, unto his fellow, shall call, Only, there, shall, the night-spectre, Make her settlement, And find for herself a place of rest:

15. చిత్తగూబ గూడు కట్టుకొనును అచ్చట గుడ్లు పెట్టి పొదిగి నీడలో వాటిని కూర్చును అచ్చటనే తెల్లగద్దలు తమ జాతిపక్షులతో కూడు కొనును.

15. There, shall, the arrow-snake, Make her nest and lay, And hatch and gather under her shadow, Only, there, shall be gathered the falcons, every one with her mate.

16. యెహోవా గ్రంథమును పరిశీలించి చదువుకొనుడి ఆ జంతువులలో ఏదియు లేక యుండదు దేని జతపక్షి దానియొద్ద ఉండక మానదు నా నోటనుండి వచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞ యిదే ఆయన నోటి ఊపిరి వాటిని పోగుచేయును.

16. Seek ye out of the scroll of Yahweh, and read, Not, one from among them, is lacking, None, hath missed, her mate, For, a mouth, hath, itself commanded, And, his spirit, hath itself gathered them:

17. అవి రావలెనని ఆయన చీట్లువేసెను ఆయన కొలనూలు చేత పట్టుకొని వాటికి ఆ దేశమును పంచిపెట్టును. అవి నిత్యము దాని ఆక్రమించుకొనును యుగయుగములు దానిలో నివసించును.

17. Yea he himself, hath cast for them a lot, And his own hand, hath given to them a portion by line, Unto times age-abiding, shall they possess it, To generation after generation, shall they dwell therein.
