1. ఆ దినములలో హిజ్కియాకు మరణకరమైన రోగము కలుగగా ప్రవక్తయు ఆమోజు కుమారుడునైన యెషయా అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చినీవు మరణమవుచున్నావు, బ్రదుకవు గనుక నీవు నీ యిల్లు చక్కబెట్టు కొనుమని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడని చెప్పగా

1. About that time was Hezekiah sicke vnto the death, and the Prophet Isaiah sonne of Amoz came vnto him, and sayd vnto him, Thus sayth the Lord, Put thine house in an order, for thou shalt dye, and not liue.

2. అతడు తనముఖమును గోడతట్టు త్రిప్పుకొని

2. Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the Lord,

3. యెహోవా, యథార్థ హృదయుడనై సత్యముతో నీ సన్నిధిని నేనెట్లు నడచు కొంటినో, నీ దృష్టికి అనుకూలముగా సమస్తమును నేనెట్లు జరిగించితినో, కృపతో జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుమని హిజ్కియా కన్నీళ్లు విడుచుచు యెహోవాను ప్రార్థింపగా

3. And saide, I beseeche thee, Lord, remember nowe howe I haue walked before thee in trueth, and with a perfite heart, and haue done that which is good in thy sight: and Hezekiah wept sore.

4. యెహోవా వాక్కు యెషయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

4. Then came the worde of the Lord to Isaiah, saying,

5. నీవు తిరిగి హిజ్కియా యొద్దకు పోయి అతనితో ఇట్లనుమునీ పితరుడైన దావీదునకు దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకు సెలవిచ్చున దేమనగానీవు కన్నీళ్లు విడుచుట చూచితిని; నీ ప్రార్థన నేనంగీకరించియున్నాను;

5. Goe, and say vnto Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord God of Dauid thy father, I haue heard thy prayer, and seene thy teares: behold, I will adde vnto thy dayes fifteene yeeres.

6. ఇంక పదిహేను సంవత్సర ముల ఆయుష్యము నీకిచ్చెదను. మరియు ఈ పట్టణమును నేను కాపాడుచు నిన్నును ఈ పట్టణమును అష్షూరురాజు చేతిలో పడకుండ విడిపించెదను.

6. And I will deliuer thee out of the hand of the King of Asshur, and this citie: for I will defende this citie.

7. యెహోవా తాను పలికిన మాట నెరవేర్చుననుటకు ఇది యెహోవావలన నీకు కలిగిన సూచన;

7. And this signe shalt thou haue of ye Lord, that ye Lord will do this thing that he hath spoken,

8. ఆహాజు ఎండ గడియారముమీద సూర్యుని కాంతిచేత దిగిన నీడ మరల పదిమెట్లు ఎక్క జేసెదను. అప్పుడు సూర్యకాంతి దిగిన మెట్లలో అది పది మెట్లు మరల ఎక్కెను.

8. Beholde, I will bring againe the shadowe of the degrees (whereby it is gone downe in the diall of Ahaz by the sunne) ten degrees backeward: so the sunne returned by tenne degrees, by the which degrees it was gone downe.

9. యూదారాజైన హిజ్కియా రోగియై ఆరోగ్యము పొందిన తరువాత అతడు రచియించినది.

9. The writing of Hezekiah King of Iudah, when he had bene sicke, and was recouered of his sickenesse.

10. నా దినముల మధ్యాహ్నకాలమందు నేను పాతాళ ద్వారమున పోవలసి వచ్చెను. నా ఆయుశ్శేషము పోగొట్టుకొని యున్నాను.

10. I saide in the cutting off of my dayes, I shall goe to the gates of the graue: I am depriued of the residue of my yeeres.

11. యెహోవాను, సజీవుల దేశమున యెహోవాను చూడకపోవుదును. మృతుల లోకనివాసినై ఇకను మనుష్యులను కానక పోవుదునని నేననుకొంటిని.

11. I said, I shall not see the Lord, euen the Lord in the land of the liuing: I shall see man no more among the inhabitants of the world.

12. నా నివాసము పెరికివేయబడెను గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరి గుడిసెవలె అది నాయొద్దనుండి ఎత్తి కొని పోబడెను. నేయువాడు తన పని చుట్టుకొనునట్లు నేను నా జీవము ముగించుచున్నాను ఆయన నన్ను బద్దెనుండి కత్తిరించుచున్నాడు ఒక దినములోగా నీవు నన్ను సమాప్తిచేయుచున్నావు.

12. Mine habitation is departed, and is remoued from me, like a shepheards tent: I haue cut off like a weauer my life: he will cut me off from the height: from day to night, thou wilt make an ende of me.

13. ఉదయమగువరకు ఓర్చుకొంటిని సింహము ఎముకలను విరచునట్లు నొప్పిచేత నా యెముకలన్నియు విరువబడెను ఒక దినములోగానే నీవు నన్ను సమాప్తిచేయుదువు

13. I rekoned to the morning: but he brake all my bones, like a lion: from day to night wilt thou make an ende of me.

14. మంగలకత్తి పిట్టవలెను ఓదెకొరుకువలెను నేను కిచకిచ లాడితిని గువ్వవలె మూల్గితిని ఉన్నతస్థలముతట్టు చూచి చూచి నాకన్నులు క్షీణించెను నాకు శ్రమ కలిగెను; యెహోవా, నాకొరకు పూట బడి యుండుము.

14. Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourne as a doue: mine eies were lift vp on high: O Lord, it hath oppressed me, comfort me.

15. నేనేమందును? ఆయన నాకు మాట ఇచ్చెను ఆయనే నెరవేర్చెను. నాకు కలిగిన వ్యాకులమునుబట్టి నా సంవత్సరములన్నియు నేను మెల్లగా నడచు కొందును.

15. What shall I say? for he hath said it to me, and he hath done it: I shall walke weakely all my yeeres in the bitternesse of my soule.

16. ప్రభువా, వీటివలన మనుష్యులు జీవించుదురు వీటివలననే నా ఆత్మ జీవించుచున్నది నీవు నన్ను బాగుచేయుదువు నన్ను జీవింపజేయుదువు

16. O Lord, to them that ouerliue them, and to all that are in them, the life of my spirite shalbe knowen, that thou causedst me to sleepe and hast giuen life to me.

17. మిక్కుటమైన ఆయాసము నాకు నెమ్మది కలు గుటకు కారణమాయెను నీ ప్రేమచేత నా ప్రాణమును నాశనమను గోతి నుండి విడిపించితివి. నీ వీపు వెనుకతట్టు నా పాపములన్నియు నీవు పారవేసితివి.

17. Beholde, for felicitie I had bitter griefe, but it was thy pleasure to deliuer my soule from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sinnes behinde thy backe.

18. పాతాళమున నీకు స్తుతి కలుగదు మృతి నీకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతి చెల్లింపదు సమాధిలోనికి దిగువారు నీ సత్యమును ఆశ్రయిం చరు.

18. For the graue cannot confesse thee: death cannot praise thee: they that goe downe into the pit, cannot hope for thy trueth.

19. సజీవులు, సజీవులే గదా నిన్ను స్తుతించుదురు ఈ దినమున నేను సజీవుడనై నిన్ను స్తుతించు చున్నాను. తండ్రులు కుమారులకు నీ సత్యమును తెలియజేతురు యెహోవా నన్ను రక్షించువాడు

19. But the liuing, the liuing, he shall confesse thee, as I doe this day: the father to the children shall declare thy trueth.

20. మన జీవితదినములన్నియు యెహోవా మందిరములో తంతివాద్యములు వాయింతుము.

20. The Lord was ready to saue me: therefore we will sing my song, all the dayes of our life in the House of the Lord.

21. మరియు యెషయా అంజూరపుపండ్ల ముద్ద తీసికొని ఆ పుండుకు కట్టవలెను, అప్పుడు అతడు బాగుపడునని చెప్పెను.

21. Then said Isaiah, Take a lumpe of drye figs and lay it vpon the boyle, and he shall recouer.

22. మరియు హిజ్కియానేను యెహోవా మందిరమునకు పోయెదననుటకు గురుతేమని యడిగి యుండెను.

22. Also Hezekiah had said, What is ye signe, that I shall goe vp into the House of the Lord?
