1. అయినను నా సేవకుడవగు యాకోబూ, నేను ఏర్పరచుకొనిన ఇశ్రాయేలూ, వినుము

1. And now hear, Jacob, my servant, and Israel, whom I have chosen:

2. నిన్ను సృష్టించి గర్భములో నిన్ను నిర్మించి నీకు సహాయము చేయువాడైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నా సేవకుడవగు యాకోబూ, నేను ఏర్పరచుకొనిన యెషూరూనూ, భయపడకుము.

2. thus saith Jehovah, that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, who helpeth thee, Fear not, Jacob, my servant, and thou, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.

3. నేను దప్పిగలవానిమీద నీళ్లను ఎండిన భూమిమీద ప్రవాహజలములను కుమ్మరించెదను నీ సంతతిమీద నా ఆత్మను కుమ్మరించెదను నీకు పుట్టినవారిని నేనాశీర్వదించెదను.

3. For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring.

4. నీటికాలువలయొద్ద నాటబడిన నిరవంజిచెట్లు గడ్డిలో ఎదుగునట్లు వారు ఎదుగుదురు.

4. And they shall spring up among the grass, as willows by the water-courses.

5. ఒకడునేను యెహోవావాడననును, మరియొకడు యాకోబు పేరు చెప్పుకొనును, మరియొకడు యెహోవావాడనని తన చేతితో వ్రాసి ఇశ్రాయేలను మారుపేరు పెట్టుకొనును.

5. One shall say, I am Jehovah's; and another shall call [himself] by the name of Jacob; and another shall write with his hand: [I am] Jehovah's, and surname [himself] by the name of Israel.

6. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల రాజైన యెహోవా వారి విమోచకుడైన సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను మొదటివాడను కడపటివాడను నేను తప్ప ఏ దేవుడును లేడు.

6. Thus saith Jehovah, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, Jehovah of hosts: I [am] the first, and I [am] the last, and beside me there is no God.

7. ఆదిలోనున్న జనమును నియమించినది మొదలుకొని నేను తెలియజేయుచు వచ్చినట్లు తెలియజేయగల వాడెవడు? అట్టివాడెక్కడైన నుండినయెడల నాకు తెలియజెప్ప వలెను ఆ సంగతి నాకు ప్రచురింపవలెను అట్టివారు భవిష్యద్విషయమును రాబోవు సంగతులను తెలియజెప్పువారై యుండవలెను.

7. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? And the coming things, and those that shall happen, let them declare unto them.

8. మీరు వెరవకుడి భయపడకుడి పూర్వకాలమునుండి నేను నీకు ఆ సంగతి వినిపించి తెలియజేయలేదా? మీరే నాకు సాక్షులు, నేను తప్ప వేరొక దేవు డున్నాడా? నేను తప్ప ఆశ్రయ దుర్గమేదియు లేదు, ఉన్నట్టు నే నెరుగను.

8. Fear not, neither be afraid. Have I not caused thee to hear from that time, and have declared it? and ye are my witnesses. Is there a +God beside me? yea, there is no Rock: I know not any.

9. విగ్రహమును నిర్మించువారందరు మాయవంటివారు వారికిష్టమైన విగ్రహములు నిష్‌ప్రయోజనములు తామే అందుకు సాక్షులు, వారు గ్రహించువారు కారు ఎరుగువారు కారు గనుక వారు సిగ్గుపడరు.

9. They that form a graven image are all of them vanity, and their delectable things are of no profit; and they are their own witnesses: they see not, nor know; -- that they may be ashamed.

10. ఎందుకును పనికిరాని విగ్రహమును పోతపోసి దాని నొక దేవునిగా నిరూపించువాడెవడు?

10. Who hath formed a *god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?

11. ఇదిగో దాని పూజించువారందరు సిగ్గుపడుదురు ఆ శిల్పకారులు నరమాత్రులేగదా? వారందరు పోగు చేయబడి నిలువబడవలెను నిశ్చయముగా వారు భయపడి సిగ్గుపడుదురు.

11. Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed; and the workmen are but men. Let them all be gathered together, let them stand up: they shall fear, they shall be ashamed together.

12. కమ్మరి గొడ్డలి పదును చేయుచు నిప్పులతో పని చేయును సుత్తెతో దానిని రూపించి తన బాహుబలముచేత దాని చేయును. అతడు ఆకలిగొనగా అతని బలము క్షీణించిపోవును నీళ్లు త్రాగక సొమ్మసిల్లును

12. The iron-smith [hath] a chisel, and he worketh in the coals, and he fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with his strong arm; -- but he is hungry, and his strength faileth; he hath not drunk water, and he is faint.

13. వడ్లవాడు నూలు వేసి చీర్ణముతో గీత గీచి చిత్రిక లతో దాని చక్కచేయును కర్కాటకములతో గురుతుపెట్టి దాని రూపించును మందిరములో దాని స్థాపింపవలెనని నరరూపముగల దానిగాను నరసౌందర్యముగలదానిగాను చేయును.

13. The worker in wood stretcheth out a line; he marketh it out with red chalk; he formeth it with sharp tools, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of man: that it may remain in the house.

14. ఒకడు దేవదారుచెట్లను నరుకవలెనని పూనుకొనును శ్మశానావృక్షమును గాని సరళవృక్షమును గాని సింధూరవృక్షములనుగాని అడవి వృక్షములలో ఏదో ఒకదానిని తీసికొనును ఒకడు చెట్టు నాటగా వర్షము దాని పెంచును

14. When he heweth him down cedars, he taketh also a holm-oak and a terebinth -- he chooseth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth a pine, and the rain maketh [it] grow.

15. ఒకడు పొయ్యికట్టెలకు వాటి నుపయోగించును వాటిలో కొంతతీసికొని చలి కాచుకొనును నిప్పు రాజబెట్టి రొట్టె కాల్చుకొనును ఒక తుండు తీసికొని దానితో ఒక దేవతను చేసికొనును దానికి నమస్కారము చేయును దానితో ఒక విగ్రహముచేసి దానికి సాగిలపడును.

15. And it shall be for a man to burn, and he taketh thereof, and warmeth himself; he kindleth it also, and baketh bread; he maketh also a *god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.

16. అగ్నితో సగము కాల్చియున్నాడు, కొదువ సగ ముతో మాంసము వండి భక్షించియున్నాడు తిని తృప్తిపొందగా చలి కాచుకొనుచు ఆహా, చలికాచుకొంటిని వెచ్చగా ఉన్నది అని అను కొనుచున్నాడు

16. He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh, he roasteth roast, and is satisfied; yea, he is warm, and saith, Aha, I am become warm, I have seen the fire.

17. దానిలో మిగిలిన భాగముతో తనకు దేవతగానున్న విగ్రహమును చేయించుకొనును దానియెదుట సాగిలపడుచు నమస్కారము చేయుచు నీవే నా దేవుడవు నన్ను రక్షింపుమని ప్రార్థించును.

17. And with the remainder thereof he maketh a *god, his graven image; he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me, for thou art my *god.

18. వారు వివేచింపరు గ్రహింపరు చూడకుండునట్లు వారి కన్నులు కప్పబడెను గ్రహింపకుండునట్లు వారి హృదయములు మూయ బడెను.

18. They have no knowledge, and understand not; for he hath plastered their eyes, that they may not see; and their hearts, that they may not understand.

19. ఎవడును ఆలోచనచేయడు, నేను అగ్నిలో సగము కాల్చితిని నిప్పులమీద వేసి రొట్టె కాల్చితిని దానితో మాంసము వండుకొని భోజనము చేసితిని మిగిలినదానిని తీసికొని దానితో హేయమైనదాని చేయుదునా? చెట్టు మొద్దుకు సాష్టాంగపడుదునా? అని యెవడును ఆలోచింపడు యోచించుటకు ఎవనికిని తెలివిలేదు వివేచనలేదు.

19. And none taketh it to heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire, and have also baked bread upon the coals thereof, I have roasted flesh, and eaten [it], and with the rest thereof shall I make an abomination? shall I bow down to a block of wood?

20. వాడు బూడిదె తినుచున్నాడు, వాని మనస్సు మోసపోయినదై తప్పుదారిని వాని తీసికొనిపోవు చున్నది వాడు తన ఆత్మను రక్షించుకొనజాలడనియు నా కుడిచేతిలో అబద్ధమున్నది గదా అనియు అను కొనుటకు వానికి బుద్ధి చాలదు.

20. He feedeth on ashes; a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?

21. యాకోబూ, ఇశ్రాయేలూ; వీటిని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము నీవు నా సేవకుడవు నేను నిన్ను నిర్మించితిని ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నీవు నాకు సేవకుడవై యున్నావు నేను నిన్ను మరచిపోజాలను.

21. Remember these things, O Jacob, and Israel, for thou art my servant; I have formed thee: thou art my servant, Israel; thou shalt not be forgotten of me.

22. మంచు విడిపోవునట్లుగా నేను నీ యతిక్రమములను మబ్బు తొలగునట్లుగా నీ పాపములను తుడిచివేసి యున్నాను నేను నిన్ను విమోచించియున్నాను, నాయొద్దకు మళ్లుకొనుము.

22. I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.

23. యెహోవా ఆ కార్యమును సమాప్తి చేసియున్నాడు ఆకాశములారా, ఉత్సాహధ్వని చేయుడి భూమి అగాధస్థలములారా, ఆర్భాటము చేయుడి పర్వతములారా, అరణ్యమా, అందులోని ప్రతి వృక్షమా, సంగీతనాదము చేయుడి. యెహోవా యాకోబును విమోచించునుఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలులో తన్నుతాను మహిమోన్నతునిగా కనుపరచుకొనును

23. Sing, ye heavens; for Jehovah hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth; break forth into singing, ye mountains, the forest, and every tree therein! For Jehovah hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.

24. గర్భమునుండి నిన్ను నిర్మించిన నీ విమోచకుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు యెహోవానగు నేనే సమస్తమును జరిగించువాడను నేనొకడనే ఆకాశమును విశాలపరచినవాడను నేనే భూమిని పరచినవాడను

24. Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb: I [am] Jehovah, the maker of all things; who alone stretched out the heavens, who did spread forth the earth by myself;

25. నేనే ప్రగల్భుల ప్రవచనములను వ్యర్థము చేయు వాడను సోదెకాండ్రను వెఱ్ఱివారినిగా చేయువాడను జ్ఞానులను వెనుకకు త్రిప్పి వారి విద్యను అవిద్యగా చేయువాడను నేనే.

25. -- he that frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;

26. నేనే నా సేవకుని మాట రూఢిపరచువాడను నా దూతల ఆలోచన నెరవేర్చువాడను యెరూషలేము నివాసస్థలమగుననియు యూదా నగరులనుగూర్చి అవి కట్టబడుననియు నేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను, దాని పాడైన స్థలములను బాగుచేయువాడను నేనే.

26. that confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built up, and I will raise up their ruins;

27. నేనే నీ నదులను ఎండచేయుచున్నాను ఎండిపొమ్మని ప్రవాహముతో నేనే చెప్పుచున్నాను

27. that saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers;

28. కోరెషుతో నా మందకాపరీ, నా చిత్తమంతయు నెరవేర్చువాడా, అని చెప్పువాడను నేనే. యెరూషలేముతో నీవు కట్టబడుదువనియు దేవాలయమునకు పునాదివేయబడుననియు నేను చెప్పుచున్నాను.

28. that saith of Cyrus, [He is] my shepherd, and he shall perform all my pleasure; even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
