1. అయినను నా సేవకుడవగు యాకోబూ, నేను ఏర్పరచుకొనిన ఇశ్రాయేలూ, వినుము

1. And now, give ear, O Jacob my servant, and Israel whom I have taken for myself:

2. నిన్ను సృష్టించి గర్భములో నిన్ను నిర్మించి నీకు సహాయము చేయువాడైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నా సేవకుడవగు యాకోబూ, నేను ఏర్పరచుకొనిన యెషూరూనూ, భయపడకుము.

2. The Lord who made you, forming you in your mother's body, the Lord, your helper, says, Have no fear, O Jacob my servant, and you, Jeshurun, whom I have taken for myself.

3. నేను దప్పిగలవానిమీద నీళ్లను ఎండిన భూమిమీద ప్రవాహజలములను కుమ్మరించెదను నీ సంతతిమీద నా ఆత్మను కుమ్మరించెదను నీకు పుట్టినవారిని నేనాశీర్వదించెదను.

3. For I will send water on the land needing it, and streams on the dry earth: I will let my spirit come down on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring.

4. నీటికాలువలయొద్ద నాటబడిన నిరవంజిచెట్లు గడ్డిలో ఎదుగునట్లు వారు ఎదుగుదురు.

4. And they will come up like grass in a well-watered field, like water-plants by the streams.

5. ఒకడునేను యెహోవావాడననును, మరియొకడు యాకోబు పేరు చెప్పుకొనును, మరియొకడు యెహోవావాడనని తన చేతితో వ్రాసి ఇశ్రాయేలను మారుపేరు పెట్టుకొనును.

5. One will say, I am the Lord's; and another will give himself the name, Jacob; another will put a mark on his hand, I am the Lord's, and another will take the name of Israel for himself.

6. The Lord, the King of Israel, even the Lord of armies who has taken up his cause, says, I am the first and the last, and there is no God but me.

7. ఆదిలోనున్న జనమును నియమించినది మొదలుకొని నేను తెలియజేయుచు వచ్చినట్లు తెలియజేయగల వాడెవడు? అట్టివాడెక్కడైన నుండినయెడల నాకు తెలియజెప్ప వలెను ఆ సంగతి నాకు ప్రచురింపవలెను అట్టివారు భవిష్యద్విషయమును రాబోవు సంగతులను తెలియజెప్పువారై యుండవలెను.

7. If there is one like me, let him come forward and say it, let him make it clear and put it in order before me: who has made clear in the past the things to come? let him make clear the future to me.

8. మీరు వెరవకుడి భయపడకుడి పూర్వకాలమునుండి నేను నీకు ఆ సంగతి వినిపించి తెలియజేయలేదా? మీరే నాకు సాక్షులు, నేను తప్ప వేరొక దేవు డున్నాడా? నేను తప్ప ఆశ్రయ దుర్గమేదియు లేదు, ఉన్నట్టు నే నెరుగను.

8. Have no fear, be strong in heart; have I not made it clear to you in the past, and let you see it? and you are my witnesses. Is there any God but me, or a Rock of whom I have no knowledge?

9. విగ్రహమును నిర్మించువారందరు మాయవంటివారు వారికిష్టమైన విగ్రహములు నిష్‌ప్రయోజనములు తామే అందుకు సాక్షులు, వారు గ్రహించువారు కారు ఎరుగువారు కారు గనుక వారు సిగ్గుపడరు.

9. Those who make a pictured image are all of them as nothing, and the things of their desire will be of no profit to them: and their servants see not, and have no knowledge; so they will be put to shame.

10. ఎందుకును పనికిరాని విగ్రహమును పోతపోసి దాని నొక దేవునిగా నిరూపించువాడెవడు?

10. Whoever makes a god, makes nothing but a metal image in which there is no profit.

11. ఇదిగో దాని పూజించువారందరు సిగ్గుపడుదురు ఆ శిల్పకారులు నరమాత్రులేగదా? వారందరు పోగు చేయబడి నిలువబడవలెను నిశ్చయముగా వారు భయపడి సిగ్గుపడుదురు.

11. Truly, all those who make use of secret arts will be put to shame, and their words of power are only words of men: let them all come forward together; they will all be in fear and be put to shame.

12. కమ్మరి గొడ్డలి పదును చేయుచు నిప్పులతో పని చేయును సుత్తెతో దానిని రూపించి తన బాహుబలముచేత దాని చేయును. అతడు ఆకలిగొనగా అతని బలము క్షీణించిపోవును నీళ్లు త్రాగక సొమ్మసిల్లును

12. The iron-worker is heating the metal in the fire, giving it form with his hammers, and working on it with his strong arm: then for need of food his strength gives way, and for need of water he becomes feeble.

13. వడ్లవాడు నూలు వేసి చీర్ణముతో గీత గీచి చిత్రిక లతో దాని చక్కచేయును కర్కాటకములతో గురుతుపెట్టి దాని రూపించును మందిరములో దాని స్థాపింపవలెనని నరరూపముగల దానిగాను నరసౌందర్యముగలదానిగాను చేయును.

13. The woodworker is measuring out the wood with his line, marking it out with his pencil: after smoothing it with his plane, and making circles on it with his instrument, he gives it the form and glory of a man, so that it may be placed in the house.

14. ఒకడు దేవదారుచెట్లను నరుకవలెనని పూనుకొనును శ్మశానావృక్షమును గాని సరళవృక్షమును గాని సింధూరవృక్షములనుగాని అడవి వృక్షములలో ఏదో ఒకదానిని తీసికొనును ఒకడు చెట్టు నాటగా వర్షము దాని పెంచును

14. He has cedars cut down for himself, he takes an oak and lets it get strong among the trees of the wood; he has an ash-tree planted, and the rain gives it growth.

15. ఒకడు పొయ్యికట్టెలకు వాటి నుపయోగించును వాటిలో కొంతతీసికొని చలి కాచుకొనును నిప్పు రాజబెట్టి రొట్టె కాల్చుకొనును ఒక తుండు తీసికొని దానితో ఒక దేవతను చేసికొనును దానికి నమస్కారము చేయును దానితో ఒక విగ్రహముచేసి దానికి సాగిలపడును.

15. Then it will be used to make a fire, so that a man may get warm; he has the oven heated with it and makes bread: he makes a god with it, to which he gives worship: he makes a pictured image out of it, and goes down on his face before it.

16. అగ్నితో సగము కాల్చియున్నాడు, కొదువ సగ ముతో మాంసము వండి భక్షించియున్నాడు తిని తృప్తిపొందగా చలి కాచుకొనుచు ఆహా, చలికాచుకొంటిని వెచ్చగా ఉన్నది అని అను కొనుచున్నాడు

16. With part of it he makes a fire, and on the fire he gets meat cooked and takes a full meal: he makes himself warm, and says, Aha! I am warm, I have seen the fire:

17. దానిలో మిగిలిన భాగముతో తనకు దేవతగానున్న విగ్రహమును చేయించుకొనును దానియెదుట సాగిలపడుచు నమస్కారము చేయుచు నీవే నా దేవుడవు నన్ను రక్షింపుమని ప్రార్థించును.

17. And the rest of it he makes into a god, even his pictured image: he goes down on his face before it, giving worship to it, and making prayer to it, saying, Be my saviour; for you are my god.

18. వారు వివేచింపరు గ్రహింపరు చూడకుండునట్లు వారి కన్నులు కప్పబడెను గ్రహింపకుండునట్లు వారి హృదయములు మూయ బడెను.

18. They have no knowledge or wisdom; for he has put a veil over their eyes, so that they may not see; and on their hearts, so that they may not give attention.

19. ఎవడును ఆలోచనచేయడు, నేను అగ్నిలో సగము కాల్చితిని నిప్పులమీద వేసి రొట్టె కాల్చితిని దానితో మాంసము వండుకొని భోజనము చేసితిని మిగిలినదానిని తీసికొని దానితో హేయమైనదాని చేయుదునా? చెట్టు మొద్దుకు సాష్టాంగపడుదునా? అని యెవడును ఆలోచింపడు యోచించుటకు ఎవనికిని తెలివిలేదు వివేచనలేదు.

19. And no one takes note, no one has enough knowledge or wisdom to say, I have put part of it in the fire, and made bread on it; I have had a meal of the flesh cooked with it: and am I now to make the rest of it into a false god? am I to go down on my face before a bit of wood?

20. వాడు బూడిదె తినుచున్నాడు, వాని మనస్సు మోసపోయినదై తప్పుదారిని వాని తీసికొనిపోవు చున్నది వాడు తన ఆత్మను రక్షించుకొనజాలడనియు నా కుడిచేతిలో అబద్ధమున్నది గదా అనియు అను కొనుటకు వానికి బుద్ధి చాలదు.

20. As for him whose food is the dust of a dead fire, he has been turned from the way by a twisted mind, so that he is unable to keep himself safe by saying, What I have here in my hand is false.

21. యాకోబూ, ఇశ్రాయేలూ; వీటిని జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము నీవు నా సేవకుడవు నేను నిన్ను నిర్మించితిని ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నీవు నాకు సేవకుడవై యున్నావు నేను నిన్ను మరచిపోజాలను.

21. Keep these things in mind, O Jacob; and you Israel, for you are my servant: I have made you; you are my servant; O Israel, I will not let you go out of my memory.

22. మంచు విడిపోవునట్లుగా నేను నీ యతిక్రమములను మబ్బు తొలగునట్లుగా నీ పాపములను తుడిచివేసి యున్నాను నేను నిన్ను విమోచించియున్నాను, నాయొద్దకు మళ్లుకొనుము.

22. I have put your evil doings out of my mind like a thick cloud, and your sins like a mist: come back to me; for I have taken up your cause.

23. యెహోవా ఆ కార్యమును సమాప్తి చేసియున్నాడు ఆకాశములారా, ఉత్సాహధ్వని చేయుడి భూమి అగాధస్థలములారా, ఆర్భాటము చేయుడి పర్వతములారా, అరణ్యమా, అందులోని ప్రతి వృక్షమా, సంగీతనాదము చేయుడి. యెహోవా యాకోబును విమోచించునుఆయన ఇశ్రాయేలులో తన్నుతాను మహిమోన్నతునిగా కనుపరచుకొనును

23. Make a song, O heavens, for the Lord has done it: give a loud cry, you deep parts of the earth: let your voices be loud in song, you mountains, and you woods with all your trees: for the Lord has taken up the cause of Jacob, and will let his glory be seen in Israel.

24. గర్భమునుండి నిన్ను నిర్మించిన నీ విమోచకుడగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు యెహోవానగు నేనే సమస్తమును జరిగించువాడను నేనొకడనే ఆకాశమును విశాలపరచినవాడను నేనే భూమిని పరచినవాడను

24. The Lord, who has taken up your cause, and who gave you life in your mother's body, says, I am the Lord who makes all things; stretching out the heavens by myself, and giving the earth its limits; who was with me?

25. నేనే ప్రగల్భుల ప్రవచనములను వ్యర్థము చేయు వాడను సోదెకాండ్రను వెఱ్ఱివారినిగా చేయువాడను జ్ఞానులను వెనుకకు త్రిప్పి వారి విద్యను అవిద్యగా చేయువాడను నేనే.

25. Who makes the signs of those who give word of the future come to nothing, so that those who have knowledge of secret arts go off their heads; turning the wise men back, and making their knowledge foolish:

26. నేనే నా సేవకుని మాట రూఢిపరచువాడను నా దూతల ఆలోచన నెరవేర్చువాడను యెరూషలేము నివాసస్థలమగుననియు యూదా నగరులనుగూర్చి అవి కట్టబడుననియు నేను ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చియున్నాను, దాని పాడైన స్థలములను బాగుచేయువాడను నేనే.

26. Who makes the word of his servants certain, and gives effect to the purposes of his representatives; who says of Jerusalem, Her people will come back to her; and of the towns of Judah, I will give orders for their building, and will make her waste places fertile again:

28. Who says of Cyrus, He will take care of my sheep, and will do all my pleasure: who says of Jerusalem, I will give the word for your building; and of the Temple, Your bases will be put in place.
