1. యెహోవా యొద్దనుండి యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమైన వాక్కు

1. The word that came unto Jeremiah from Yahweh saying:

2. మీరు ఈ నిబంధనవాక్యములను వినుడి; యూదా మనుష్యులతోను యెరూషలేము నివాసులతోను నీవీలాగున మాటలాడి తెలియజేయవలెను

2. Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak ye unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,

3. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగా ఈ నిబంధన వాక్యములను విననొల్లనివాడు శాపగ్రస్తుడగును.

3. and say thou unto them, Thus, saith Yahweh God of Israel, Accursed, is the man who will not hear the words of this covenant;

4. ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి, ఆ యినుప కొలిమిలోనుండి నేను మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినమున నేను ఈ ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చి తినినేడున్నట్టుగా పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశమును మీ పితరులకిచ్చెదనని వారితో నేను చేసిన ప్రమాణమును నేను నెరవేర్చునట్లు, మీరు నా వాక్యము విని నేను మీ కాజ్ఞాపించు విధులన్నిటినిబట్టి యీ నిబంధన వాక్యముల ననుసరించినయెడల మీరు నాకు జనులైయుందురు నేను మీకు దేవుడనైయుందును.

4. which I commanded your fathers in the day when I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt out of the smelting-pot of iron saying, Hearken unto my voice and do them, According to all that I may command you, So shall ye become my people, And, I, will become, your God:

5. అందుకు యెహోవా, ఆ ప్రకారము జరుగును గాకని నేనంటిని.

5. That the oath may be established which I sware to your fathers, To give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as at this day. Then answered I and said, Amen, O Yahweh!

6. యెహోవా నాతో సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగా - నీవు యూదా పట్టణములలోను యెరూషలేము వీధులలోను ఈ మాటలన్నిటిని ప్రకటింపుముమీరు ఈ నిబంధన వాక్యములను విని వాటి ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనుడి.

6. And Yahweh said unto me, Proclaim thou all, these words, throughout the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and do them,

7. ఐగుప్తులోనుండి మీ పితరులను రప్పించిన దినము మొదలుకొని నేటివరకు నేను గట్టిగాను ఖండితముగాను చెప్పుచు వచ్చితిని; నా మాట వినుడి అని పెందలకడ లేచి చెప్పుచు వచ్చితిని

7. For I, solemnly took your fathers to witness, in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt even until this day, betimes, taking them to witness saying, Hearken ye unto my voice.

8. అయినను వారు తమ దుష్టహృదయములో పుట్టు మూర్ఖతచొప్పున నడుచుచు వినకపోయిరి; చెవి యొగ్గినవారు కాకపోయిరి, వారు అనుసరింపవలెనని నేను వారి కాజ్ఞాపించిన యీ నిబంధన మాటలన్నిటిననుసరించి నడువలేదు గనుక నేను ఆ నిబంధనలోని వాటి నన్నిటిని వారిమీదికి రప్పించుచున్నాను.

8. Howbeit they hearkened not neither inclined their ear, but walked severally in the stubbornness of their wicked heart, so then I brought upon them all the words of this covenant which I commanded them to do, but they did them not.

9. మరియు యెహోవా నాతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను యూదావారిలోను యెరూషలేము నివాసులలోను కుట్ర జరుగునట్లుగా కనబడుచున్నది.

9. Yahweh therefore said unto me, There is found a conspiracy, among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem:

10. ఏదనగా వారు నా మాటలు విననొల్లకపోయిన తమ పితరుల దోషచర్యలను జరుప తిరిగియున్నారు; మరియు వారు అన్యదేవతలను పూజించుటకై వాటిని అనుసరించుచు, వారి పితరులతో నేను చేసిన నిబంధనను ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశస్థులును యూదావంశస్థులును భంగము చేసియున్నారు.

10. They have turned back unto the iniquities of their first fathers who refused to hear my words, yea, they themselves, have walked after other gods to serve them, the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I solemnised with their fathers.

11. కాబట్టి యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు తాము తప్పించుకొనజాలని కీడు వారిమీదికి రప్పింపబోవు చున్నాను, వారు నాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టినను నేను వారి మొఱ్ఱను వినకుందును.

11. Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! bringing upon them calamity, which they shall not be able to escape, and though they make outcry unto me, yet will I not hearken unto them.

12. యూదాపట్టణస్థులును యెరూష లేము నివాసులును పోయి తాము ధూపార్పణము చేయు దేవతలకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టెదరు గాని వారి ఆపత్కాలములో అవి వారిని ఏమాత్రమును రక్షింపజాలవు.

12. Then shall the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, go and make outcry unto the gods to whom they have been burning incense, but they will not at all, save, them in the time of their calamity;

13. యూదా, నీ పట్టణముల లెక్కచొప్పున నీకు దేవతలున్నవి గదా? యెరూషలేము నివాసులారా, బయలు దేవతకు ధూపము వేయవలెనని మీ వీధుల లెక్కచొప్పున లజ్జాకరమైన దానిపేరట బలిపీఠములను స్థాపించితిరి.

13. for according to the number of thy cities, have become thy gods O Judah, and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem, have ye set up album to the Shameful thing, altars for burning incense to Baal.

14. కావున నీవు ఈ ప్రజలనిమిత్తము ప్రార్థనచేయకుము; వారి నిమిత్తము మొఱ్ఱపెట్టకుము ప్రార్థనచేయకుము, వారు తమ కీడును బట్టి నాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టునప్పుడు నేను వినను.

14. Thou, therefore do not pray for this people, Neither lift thou up for them cry or prayer, For I am not going to hear in the time that they cry unto me concerning their calamity.

15. దుర్వ్యాపారము జరిగించిన నా ప్రియురాలికి నా మందిరముతో నిమిత్తమేమి? మ్రొక్కుబళ్లచేతను ప్రతిష్ఠిత మాంసము తినుటచేతను నీకు రావలసిన కీడు నీవు పోగొట్టు కొందువా? ఆలాగైతే నీవు ఉత్సహించుదువు.

15. Why hath the beloved in mine own house, done an abomination? Shall, vows and holy flesh, take away from thee thy wickednesses, or shalt thou by these, escape?

16. అది చక్కని ఫలముగల పచ్చని ఒలీవ చెట్టని యెహోవా నీకు పేరు పెట్టెను; గొప్ప తుపాను ధ్వనితో దానిమీద మంటపెట్టగా దాని కొమ్మలు విరిగిపోవుచున్నవి.

16. A green olive-tree, fair with goodly fruit, did Yahweh call thy name, with the noise of a great tumult, hath he kindled fire upon it, and the branches thereof shall be broken.

17. ఇశ్రాయేలు వంశస్థులును యూదా వంశస్థులును బయలునకు ధూపార్పణముచేసి నాకు కోపము పుట్టించుటచేత తమంతట తామే చేసిన చెడుతనమునుబట్టి మిమ్మును నాటిన సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా మీకు కీడుచేయ నిర్ణయించుకొని యున్నాడు.

17. But, Yahweh of hosts, who planted thee hath pronounced against thee calamity, on account of the wickedness of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah which they have wrought for themselves, provoking me to anger by burning incense to Baal.

18. దానిని యెహోవా నాకు తెలియజేయగా నేను గ్రహించితిని; ఆయన వారి క్రియలను నాకు కనుపరచెను.

18. Now when Yahweh, let me know and I did know, then, didst thou shew me their doings.

19. అయితే నేను వధకు తేబడుచుండు సాధువైన గొఱ్ఱెపిల్లవలె ఉంటిని;మనము చెట్టును దాని ఫలమును నశింపజేయుదము రండి, వాని పేరు ఇకను జ్ఞాపకము చేయబడకపోవునట్లు బ్రదుకువారిలో నుండకుండ వాని నిర్మూలము చేయుదము రండని వారు నామీద చేసిన దురాలోచనలను నేనెరుగకయుంటిని.

19. But, I, was as a gentle lamb that is to be led to the slaughter, and I knew not that against me, they had devised devices saying Let us destroy the tree with its fruit Yea let us cut him off out of the land of the living, And, his name, shall be remembered no more!

20. నీతినిబట్టి తీర్పు తీర్చుచు జ్ఞానేంద్రియములను, హృదయమును శోధించు వాడు సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవాయే. యెహోవా, నా వ్యాజ్యెభారమును నీమీదనే వేయుచున్నాను; వారికి నీవు చేయు ప్రతి దండనను నన్ను చూడనిమ్ము.

20. But, O Yahweh of hosts Who judgest righteously, Who triest affections and intellect, Let me see thine avenging upon them, For unto thee, have revealed my cause.

21. కావున నీవు మాచేత చావకుండునట్లు యెహోవా నామమున ప్రవచింపకూడదని చెప్పు అనాతోతు వారినిగూర్చి యెహోవా ఇట్లని సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

21. Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh Concerning the men of Anathoth, who are seeking thy life, saying, Thou shalt not prophesy in the name of Yahweh, So shalt thou not die by our hand:

22. సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా వారినిగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగానేను వారిని శిక్షింపబోవుచున్నాను, వారి ¸యౌవనులు ఖడ్గముచేత చంపబడెదరు, వారి కుమారులును కూమార్తెలును క్షామమువలన చచ్చెదరు;

22. Therefore, Thus saith Yahweh of hosts, Behold me! bringing punishment upon them, The young men, shall die by the sword, Their sons and their daughters, shall die by famine;

23. వారికి శేషమేమియు లేకపోవును, నేను వారిని దర్శించు సంవత్సర మున అనాతోతు కీడును వారిమీదికి రప్పింతును.

23. And remnant, shall they have none, For I will bring calamity against the men of Anathoth, in the year of their visitation.
