1. మరియు యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. The worde of the Lord came also vnto mee, saying,

2. ఈస్థలమందు నీకు కుమారులైనను కుమార్తెలైనను పుట్టకుండునట్లు నీవు వివాహము చేసికొన కూడదు.

2. Thou shalt not take thee a wife, nor haue sonnes nor daughters in this place.

3. ఈ స్థలమందు పుట్టు కుమారులను గూర్చియు, కుమార్తెలనుగూర్చియు, వారిని కనిన తల్లులనుగూర్చియు, ఈ దేశములో వారిని కనిన తండ్రులను గూర్చియు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు

3. For thus sayeth the Lord concerning the sonnes, and concerning the daughters that are borne in this place, and concerning their mothers that beare them, and concerning their fathers, that beget them in this land,

4. వారు ఘోరమైన మరణము నొందెదరు; వారినిగూర్చి రోదనము చేయబడదు, వారు పాతిపెట్టబడక భూమిమీద పెంట వలె పడియుండెదరు, వారు ఖడ్గముచేతను క్షామముచేతను నశించెదరు; వారి శవములు ఆకాశపక్షులకును భూజంతువులకును ఆహారముగా ఉండును.

4. They shall die of deathes and diseases: they shall not be lamented, neither shall they be buried, but they shalbe as dung vpon the earth, and they shalbe consumed by the sword, and by famine, and their carkeises shall be meate for the foules of the heauen, and for the beasts of the earth.

5. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడునేను ఈ ప్రజలకు నా సమాధానము కలుగనియ్యకయు వారియెడల నా కృపావాత్సల్యములను చూపకయు ఉన్నాను గనుక రోదనముచేయు ఇంటిలోనికి నీవు పోకుము, వారినిగూర్చి అంగలార్చుటకు పోకుము, ఎవరినిని ఓదార్చుటకు వెళ్లకుము; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు

5. For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither goe to lament, nor be moued for the: for I haue taken my peace, from this people, saith the Lord, euen mercy and compassion.

6. ఘనులేమి అల్పులేమి యీ దేశమందున్నవారు చనిపోయి పాతిపెట్టబడరు, వారి నిమిత్తము ఎవరును అంగలార్చకుందురు, ఎవరును తమ్మును తాము కోసికొన కుందురు, వారి నిమిత్తము ఎవరును తమ్మును తాము బోడి చేసికొనకుందురు.

6. Both the great, and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them nor cut themselues, nor make themselues balde for them.

7. చచ్చినవారినిగూర్చి జనులను ఓదార్చుటకు అంగలార్పు ఆహారము ఎవరును పంచిపెట్టరు; ఒకని తండ్రి యైనను తల్లియైనను చనిపోయెనని యెవరును వారికి ఓదార్పు పాత్రను త్రాగనియ్యకుందురు.

7. They shall not stretch out the hands for the in the mourning to comfort them for the dead, neither shall they giue them the cup of consolation to drinke for their father or for their mother.

8. వారియొద్ద కూర్చుండి అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనుటకు నీవు విందు శాలలో ప్రవేశింపకూడదు.

8. Thou shalt not also goe into the house of feasting to sit with them to eate and to drinke.

9. సైన్యములకధిపతియు ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడునైన యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు మీ కన్నుల ఎదుటనే మీ దినములలోనే సంతోషధ్వనిని ఆనందధ్వనిని పెండ్లికుమారుని స్వరమును పెండ్లికుమార్తె స్వరమును ఈ చోట వినబడకుండ మాన్పించెదను.

9. For thus sayth the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Beholde, I wil cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, euen in your dayes the voyce of myrth, and the voyce of gladnes, the voyce of the bridegrome and the voyce of the bride.

10. నీవు ఈ మాటలన్నియు ఈ ప్రజలకు తెలియ జెప్పిన తరువాత వారుదేనిబట్టి యెహోవా మాకు ఈ ఘోరబాధ అంతయు నియమించెను? మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా మా దోషమేమి? మాపాప మేమి? అని నిన్నడుగగా

10. And when thou shalt shewe this people all these wordes, and they shall say vnto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great plague against vs? or what is our iniquitie? and what is our sinne that we haue committed against the Lord our God?

11. నీవు వారితో ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మీ పితరులు నన్ను విడిచి అన్య దేవతలను అనుసరించి పూజించి వాటికి నమస్కారము చేయుటను బట్టియే గదా వారు నా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును గైకొనక నన్ను విసర్జించిరి.

11. Then shalt thou say vnto them, Because your fathers haue forsaken me, sayth the Lord, and haue walked after other gods, and haue serued them, and worshipped them, and haue forsaken me, and haue not kept my Law,

12. ఆలకించుడి; మీరందరు నా మాట వినకుండ కఠినమైన మీ దుష్ట హృదయ కాఠిన్యము చొప్పున నడుచుకొనుచున్నారు; మీరు మీ పితరులకంటె విస్తారముగా చెడుతనము చేసి యున్నారు.

12. (And ye haue done worse then your fathers: for beholde, you walke euery one after the stubbernesse of his wicked heart, and will not heare me)

13. కాబట్టి నేను మీయందు ఏమాత్రమును దయయుంచక, యీ దేశమునుండి మీరైనను మీ పితరు లైనను ఎరుగని దేశమునకు మిమ్మును వెళ్లగొట్టుచున్నాను; అక్కడ మీరు దివారాత్రము అన్యదేవతలను కొలుచుదురు.

13. Therefore will I driue you out of this land into a lande that ye knowe not, neither you, nor your fathers, and there shall ye serue other gods day and night: for I will shew you no grace.

14. యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు మాట ఏదనగా నేను వారి పితరులకిచ్చిన దేశమునకు వారిని మరల రప్పించెదను గనుక రాబోవు దినములలో ఐగుప్తు దేశములో నుండి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రప్పించిన యెహోవా జీవముతోడని ఇకమీదట

14. Behold therfore, saith the Lord, the dayes come that it shall no more be sayde, The Lord liueth, which brought vp the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt,

15. అనక ఉత్తరదేశములో నుండియు ఆయన వారిని తరిమిన దేశములన్నిటిలో నుండియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను రప్పించిన యెహోవా జీవముతోడని జనులు ప్రమాణము చేయుదురు.

15. But the Lord liueth, that brought vp the children of Israel from the lande of the North, and from all the landes where hee had scattered them, and I wil bring them againe into their land that I gaue vnto their fathers.

16. ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు వారిని పట్టుకొనుటకు నేను చాల మంది జాలరులను పిలిపించెదను. తరువాత ప్రతి పర్వతముమీదనుండియు ప్రతి కొండమీద నుండియు మెట్టల సందులలోనుండియు వారిని వేటాడి తోలివేయుటకై అనేకులైన వేటగాండ్రను పిలిపించెదను.

16. Behold, sayth the Lord, I wil send out many fishers, and they shall fish them, and after, will I send out many hunters, and they shall hunt them from euery mountaine and from euery hill, and out of the caues of the rockes.

17. ఏలయనగా వారు పోయిన త్రోవలన్నిటి మీద దృష్టి యుంచితిని, ఏదియు నా కన్నులకు మరుగు కాలేదు, వారి దోషమును నాకు మరుగైయుండదు.

17. For mine eyes are vpon al their wayes: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquitie hid from mine eyes.

18. వారు తమ హేయదేవతల కళేబరములచేత నా దేశమును అపవిత్ర పరచియున్నారు, తమ హేయక్రియలతో నా స్వాస్థ్యమును నింపియున్నారు గనుక నేను మొదట వారి దోషమును బట్టియు వారి పాపమును బట్టియు రెండంతలుగా వారికి ప్రతికారము చేసెదను.

18. And first I will recompense their iniquitie and their sinne double, because they haue defiled my lande, and haue filled mine inheritance with their filthie carions and their abominations.

19. యెహోవా, నా బలమా, నా దుర్గమా, ఆపత్కాలమందు నా ఆశ్రయమా, భూదిగంతములనుండి జనములు నీ యొద్దకు వచ్చిమా పితరులు వ్యర్థమును మాయా రూపమును నిష్‌ప్రయో జనమునగు వాటిని మాత్రము స్వతంత్రించుకొనిరని చెప్పుదురు.

19. O Lord, thou art my force, and my strength and my refuge in the day of affliction: the Gentiles shall come vnto thee from the ends of the world, and shall say, Surely our fathers haue inherited lies, and vanitie, wherein was no profite.

20. నరులు తమకు దేవతలను కల్పించుకొందురా? అయినను అవి దైవములు కావు.

20. Shall a man make gods vnto himselfe, and they are no gods?

21. కాబట్టి నా నామము యెహోవా అని వారు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నేను ఈ సారి వారికి అనుభవము కలుగజేతును, నా బలమును నా శౌర్యమును ఎంతటివో వారికి తెలియజేతును.

21. Beholde, therefore I will this once teach them: I will shewe them mine hande and my power, and they shall know that my Name is the Lord.
