1. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియా యేలుబడి ఆరంభమున నాల్గవ సంవత్సరము అయిదవ నెలలో గిబియోనువాడును ప్రవక్తయును అజ్జూరు కుమారుడునైన హనన్యా యాజకుల యెదుటను ప్రజలందరియెదుటను యెహోవా మందిరములో నాతో ఈలాగనెను.

1. In the fifth month of the fourth year that Zedekiah was king of Judah, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur spoke to me. Hananiah was from the town of Gibeon. Hananiah was in the Lord's Temple when he spoke to me. The priests and all the people were there also. This is what Hananiah said:

2. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నేను బబులోనురాజు కాడిని విరిచియున్నాను.

2. The Lord All- Powerful, the God of the people of Israel, says: 'I will break the yoke that the king of Babylon has put on the people of Judah.

3. రెండు సంవత్సరములలోగా బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు ఈ స్థలములోనుండి బబులోనునకు తీసికొనిపోయిన యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని ఇచ్చటికి మరల తెప్పించెదను.

3. Before two years are over, I will bring back all the things that King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon took from the Lord's Temple. Nebuchadnezzar has carried those things to Babylon. But I will bring them back here to Jerusalem.

4. బబులోను రాజు కాడిని విరుగగొట్టి యెహోయాకీము కుమారుడును యూదారాజునైన యెకోన్యాను, బబులోనునకు చెరగొని పోయిన యూదులనందిరిని, యీ స్థలమునకు తిరిగి రప్పించెదను; ఇదే యెహోవా వాక్కు.

4. I will also bring the king of Judah, Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim, back to this place. And I will bring back all the people of Judah that Nebuchadnezzar forced to leave their homes and go to Babylon,' says the Lord. 'So I will break the yoke that the king of Babylon put on the people of Judah.''

5. అప్పుడు ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా యాజకులయెదుటను యెహోవా మందిరములో నిలుచుచున్న ప్రజలందరి యెదుటను ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యాతో ఇట్లనెను

5. Then the prophet Jeremiah answered the prophet Hananiah. They were standing in the Temple of the Lord. The priests and all the people there could hear Jeremiah's answer.

6. ఆలాగున జరుగునుగాక, యెహోవా ఆలాగుననే చేయునుగాక, యెహోవా మందిరపు ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని, చెరగొనిపోబడిన వారి నందరిని యెహోవా బబులోనులోనుండి ఈ స్థలమునకు తెప్పించి నీవు ప్రకటించిన మాటలను నెరవేర్చునుగాక.

6. Jeremiah said to Hananiah, 'Amen! May the Lord do that. May the Lord make the message you say come true. May he bring the things of the Lord's Temple back to this place from Babylon. And may he bring all those who were forced to leave their homes back to this place.

7. అయినను నేను నీ చెవులలోను ఈ ప్రజలందరి చెవులలోను చెప్పుచున్న మాటను చిత్తగించి వినుము.

7. But listen to what I must say, Hananiah. Listen to what I say to all you people.

8. నాకును నీకును ముందుగా నున్న ప్రవక్తలు, అనేకదేశములకు మహారాజ్యములకు విరోధముగా యుద్ధములు జరుగుననియు, కీడు సంభవించుననియు, తెగులుకలుగుననియు పూర్వకాలమందు ప్రకటించుచు వచ్చిరి.

8. There were prophets long before you and I became prophets, Hananiah. They said that war, hunger, and terrible sicknesses would come to many countries and great kingdoms.

9. అయితే క్షేమము కలుగునని ప్రకటించు ప్రవక్త యున్నాడే, అతని మాట నెరవేరినయెడల యెహోవా నిజముగా అతని పంపెనని యొప్పుకొనదగునని ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా చెప్పగా

9. But the prophet who says that we will have peace must be tested to see if he was sent by the Lord. If his message comes true, people can know that he really was sent by the Lord.'

10. ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా మెడ మీదనుండి ఆ కాడిని తీసి దాని విరిచి

10. Jeremiah was wearing a yoke around his neck. The prophet Hananiah took the yoke from Jeremiah's neck and broke it.

11. ప్రజలందరి యెదుట ఇట్లనెను యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు రెండు సంవత్సరములలోగా నేను బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు కాడిని సర్వజనముల మెడమీద నుండి తొలగించి దాని విరిచివేసెదను; అంతట ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా వెళ్లిపోయెను.

11. Then Hananiah spoke loudly so that all the people could hear him. He said, 'This is what the Lord says: 'In the same way I will break the yoke of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. He put that yoke on all the nations of the world, but I will break it before two years are over.'' After Hananiah said that, Jeremiah left the Temple.

12. ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యా ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా మెడ మీదనున్న కాడిని విరిచిన తరువాత యెహోవా వాక్కు యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

12. Then the message of the Lord came to Jeremiah. This happened after Hananiah had taken the yoke off Jeremiah's neck and had broken it.

13. నీవు పోయి హనన్యాతో ఇట్లనుము యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు నీవు కొయ్యకాడిని విరిచితివే, దానికి ప్రతిగా ఇనుపకాడిని చేయించవలెను.

13. This is what the Lord said to Jeremiah: 'Go and tell Hananiah that this is what the Lord says: 'You have broken a wooden yoke, but I will make a yoke of iron in the place of the wooden yoke.

14. ఇశ్రా యేలు దేవుడును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ జనులందరును బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరునకు దాసులు కావలెనని వారి మెడమీద ఇనుపకాడి యుంచితిని గనుక వారు అతనికి దాసులగుదురు, భూజంతువులను కూడ నేను అతనికి అప్పగించియున్నాను.

14. The Lord All-Powerful, the God of Israel, is the one saying this. I will put a yoke of iron on the necks of all these nations. I will do that to make them serve King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, and they will be slaves to him. I will even give Nebuchadnezzar control over the wild animals.''

15. అంతట ప్రవక్తయైన యిర్మీయా ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యాతో ఇట్లనెనుహనన్యా వినుము;యెహోవా నిన్ను పంపలేదు, ఈ ప్రజలను అబద్ధమును ఆశ్రయింపజేయుచున్నావు.

15. Then the prophet Jeremiah said to the prophet Hananiah, 'Listen, Hananiah! The Lord did not send you. But you have made the people of Judah trust in lies.

16. కాగా యెహోవా ఈ మాట సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుభూమిమీద నుండి నేను నిన్ను కొట్టివేయుచున్నాను, యెహోవా మీద తిరుగుబాటుచేయుటకై నీవు జనులను ప్రేరేపించితివి గనుక ఈ సంవత్సరము నీవు మరణమౌదువు అని చెప్పెను.

16. So this is what the Lord says: 'Soon I will take you from this world, Hananiah. You will die this year, because you taught the people to turn against the Lord.''

17. ఆ సంవత్సరమే యేడవ నెలలో ప్రవక్తయైన హనన్యా మృతినొందెను.

17. Hananiah died in the seventh month of that same year.
