1. యూదారాజైన సిద్కియా యేలుబడియందు తొమ్మిదవ సంవత్సరము పదియవ నెలలో బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు తన సమస్త సైన్యముతో యెరూషలేము మీదికి వచ్చిదాని ముట్టడివేయగా

1. Now when the cite off Ierusale was taken (for in the ix. yeare of Sedechias kynge of Iuda in the tenth Moneth, came Nabuchodonosor the kynge off Babilon and all his hooste, and beseged Ierusalem.

2. సిద్కియా యేలు బడియందు పదకొండవ సంవత్సరము నాలుగవ నెల తొమ్మిదవ దినమున పట్టణ ప్రాకారములు పడగొట్టబడెను.

2. And in the xi. yeare of Sedechias in the fourth Moneth ye ix. daye of ye Moneth, he brake in to the cite).

3. యెరూషలేము పట్టబడగా అధిపతులందరు, నేర్గల్‌షరేజరు సవ్గుర్నెబో షండుల కధిపతియగు శర్సెకీము, జ్ఞానులకధిపతియగు నేర్గల్‌షరేజరు మొదలైన బబులోనురాజు అధిపతులందరు లోపలికి వచ్చి మధ్యగుమ్మములో కూర్చుండిరి.

3. Then all the kynge of Babilons prynces came in, & sat the downe vnder the porte: Nergall, Sarezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergal, Sarezer, Rabmag, with all the other prynces of the kynge of Babilon.

4. యూదులరాజైన సిద్కియాయు అతని యోధులందరును వారినిచూచి పారిపోయి, రాజు తోటమార్గమున రెండు గోడల మధ్యనున్న గుమ్మపుమార్గమున పోయిరి గాని రాజు మైదానపు మార్గమున వెళ్లిపోయెను.

4. And when Sedechias the kynge of Iuda with his soudyers sawe them, they fled, and departed out of ye cite by night thorow the kynges garde, and thorow the porte that is betwene the two walles, and so they wente towarde the wildernesse.

5. అయితే కల్దీయుల సేన వారిని తరిమి యెరికో దగ్గరనున్న మైదానములలో సిద్కియాను కలిసికొని పట్టుకొని, రాజు అతనికి శిక్ష విధింపవలెనని హమాతు దేశములో రిబ్లా పట్టణము దగ్గర నున్న బబులోనురాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు నొద్దకు వారు సిద్కియాను తీసికొనిపోయిరి

5. But the Caldees hooste folowed fast after them, and toke Sedechias in the felde of Iericho, and brought him presoner to Nabuchodonosor the kynge off Babilo vnto Reblatha, that lieth in the londe off Hemath where he gaue iugdment vpon him.

6. బబులోనురాజు రిబ్లా పట్టణములో సిద్కియా కుమారులను అతని కన్నులయెదుట చంపించెను, మరియు బబులోనురాజు యూదా ప్రధానులందరిని చంపించెను.

6. So the kynge of Babilon caused the children of Sedechias and all the nobles off Iuda be slayne, before his face at Reblatha

7. అంతట అతడు సిద్కియా కన్నులు ఊడదీయించి అతని బబులోనునకు తీసికొనిపోవుటకై సంకెళ్లతో బంధించెను.

7. And made Sedechias eyes be put out, and boude him with chaynes, and sent him to Babilon.

8. కల్దీయులు రాజనగరును ప్రజల యిండ్లను అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేసి యెరూషలేము ప్రాకారములను పడగొట్టిరి.

8. Morouer, the Caldees bret vp the kynges palace, with ye other houses of the people, and brake downe the walles off Ierusalem.

9. అప్పుడు రాజదేహ సంరక్షకుల కధిపతియగు నెబూజరదాను శేషించి పట్టణములో నిలిచి యున్న ప్రజలను, ద్రోహులై తమ రాజును విడిచి తనతో చేరినవారిని, శేషించిన ప్రజలనందరిని బబులోనునకు కొనిపోయెను.

9. As for the remnaunt of the people that were in the cite, and soch as were come to helpe them (what so euer was left of the come sorte) Nabuzaradan the chefe captayne caried them to Babilon.

10. అయితే రాజదేహసంరక్షకుల కధిపతి యైన నెబూజరదాను లేమిగల దరిద్రులను యూదాదేశములో నుండనిచ్చి, వారికి ద్రాక్షతోటలను పొలములను నియమించెను.

10. But Nabuzarada the chefe captayne let the rascall people (and those that had nothinge) dwell still in the lode off Iuda, and gaue them vynyardes and corne feldes at the same tyme.

11. మరియు యిర్మీయాను గూర్చి బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరు రాజదేహ సంరక్షకులకు అధిపతియగు నెబూజరదానునకు

11. Nabuchodonosor also the kynge of Babilon gaue Nabuzarada the chefe captayne a charge, cocernynge Ieremy, sayenge:

12. ఈ ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను నీవు ఇతనికి హాని చేయక దగ్గరనుంచుకొని పరామర్శించి, ఇతడు నీతో చెప్పునట్లు చేయవలెను.

12. take and cherish him, and make moch off him: se thou do him no harme, but intreate him after his owne desyre.

13. కావున రాజదేహసంరక్షకులకు అధిపతియైన నెబూజరదానును షండులకు అధిపతియగు నెబూషజ్బానును జ్ఞానులకు అధిపతియగు నేర్గల్‌షరేజరును బబులోనురాజు ప్రధానులందరును దూతలను పంపి

13. So Nabuzarada ye chefe captayne, Nabusa?ba the chefe chamberlayne, Nergalsarezer the treasurer and all the kynge of Babilons lordes, sent for Ieremy,

14. బందీగృహశాలలోనుండి యిర్మీయాను తెప్పించి, అతనిని యింటికి తోడుకొనిపోవుటకు షాఫాను కుమారు డైన అహీకాము కుమారుడగు గెదల్యాకు అతని నప్పగించిరి, అప్పుడతడు ప్రజలమధ్య నివాసముచేసెను.

14. & caused him be fet out off the fore entrie off the preson, and committed him vnto Godolias the sonne off Ahicam the sonne of Saphan: that he shulde carie him home, and so he dwelt amonge the people.

15. యిర్మీయా బందీగృహశాలలో నుండగా యెహోవా మాట అతనికి ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

15. Now whyle Ieremy laye yet bounde in the fore entrie of the preson, ye worde off the LORDE came vnto him sayenge:

16. నీవు వెళ్లి కూషీయుడగు ఎబెద్మెలెకుతో ఇట్లనుము ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు మేలు చేయుటకైకాక కీడుచేయుటకై నేను ఈ పట్టణమునుగూర్చి చెప్పిన మాటలు నెర వేర్చుచున్నాను; నీవు చూచుచుండగా ఆ మాటలు ఆ దిన మున నెరవేరును.

16. Go, and tell Abdemelech the Morian: Thus saieth the LORDE off hoostes ye God off Israel: Beholde, the cruell and sharpe plage that I haue deuysed for this cite, will I brynge vpon them, that thou shalt se it:

17. ఆ దినమున నేను నిన్ను విడిపించెదను, నీవు భయపడు మనుష్యులచేతికి నీవు అప్పగింపబడవని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

17. but I wil delyuer the (sayeth the LORDE) and thou shalt not come in the hondes off those men, whom thou fearest.

18. నీవు నన్ను నమ్ము కొంటివి గనుక నిశ్చయముగా నేను నిన్ను తప్పించెదను, నీవు ఖడ్గముచేత పడవు, దోపుడుసొమ్ము దక్కించుకొను నట్లు నీ ప్రాణమును నీవు దక్కించుకొందువు; ఇదేయెహోవా వాక్కు.

18. For doutles I will saue the, so that thou shalt not perish with the swearde: but thy life shalbe saued, and that because thou hast put thy trust in me, saieth the LORDE.
