1. అతడు ప్రజలకందరికి ప్రకటింపవలెనని దేవుడైన యెహోవా పంపిన ప్రకారము యిర్మీయా వారి దేవుడగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన మాటలన్నిటిని వారికి ప్రకటించి చాలింపగా

1. It happened that, when Yirmeyahu had made an end of speaking to all the people all the words of the LORD their God, with which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,

2. హోషేయా కుమారుడైన అజర్యాయును కారేహ కుమారుడైన యోహానానును గర్విష్ఠులందరును యిర్మీయాతో ఇట్లనిరి నీవు అబద్ధము పలుకుచున్నావు ఐగుప్తులో కాపురముండుటకు మీరు అక్కడికి వెళ్లకూడదని ప్రకటించుటకై మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను పంపలేదు.

2. then spoke `Azaryah the son of Hosha`yah, and Yochanan the son of Kareach, and all the proud men, saying to Yirmeyahu, You speak falsely: the LORD our God has not sent you to say, You shall not go into Mitzrayim to sojourn there;

3. మమ్మును చంపుటకును, బబులోనునకు చెర పట్టుకొని పోవుటకును, కల్దీయులచేతికి మమ్మును అప్పగింప వలెనని నేరీయా కుమారుడైన బారూకు మాకు విరోధముగా రేపుచున్నాడు. (అని చెప్పిరి)

3. but Barukh the son of Neriyah sets you on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Kasdim, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captive to Bavel.

4. కాగా కారేహ కుమారుడైన యోహానానును సేనలయధిపతులందరును ప్రజలందురును యూదాదేశములో కాపురముండవలెనన్న యెహోవా మాట వినకపోయిరి.

4. So Yochanan the son of Kareach, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, didn't obey the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Yehudah.

5. మరియు కారేహ కుమారుడైన యోహానానును సేనల యధిపతులందరును యెహోవా మాట విననివారై, యూదాదేశములో నివసించుటకు తాము తరిమి వేయబడిన ఆయా ప్రదేశములనుండి తిరిగి వచ్చిన యూదుల శేషమును,

5. But Yochanan the son of Kareach, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Yehudah, who were returned from all the nations where they had been driven, to sojourn in the land of Yehudah;

6. అనగా రాజ దేహసంరక్షకులకధిపతియగు నెబూజరదాను షాఫాను కుమారుడైన అహీకాము కుమారుడగు గెదల్యాకు అప్పగించిన పురుషులను స్త్రీలను పిల్లలను రాజకుమార్తెలను ప్రవక్తయగు యిర్మీయాను నేరీయా కుమారుడగు బారూకును తోడుకొనిపోయి

6. the men, and the women, and the children, and the king's daughters, and every person who Nevuzar'adan the captain of the guard had left with Gedalyahu the son of Achikam, the son of Shafan; and Yirmeyahu the prophet, and Barukh the son of Neriyah;

7. ఐగుప్తుదేశములో ప్రవేశించిరి. వారు తహపనేసుకు రాగా

7. and they came into the land of Mitzrayim; for they didn't obey the voice of the LORD: and they came to Tachpanches.

8. యెహోవా వాక్కు తహపనేసులో యిర్మీయాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యిలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

8. Then came the word of the LORD to Yirmeyahu in Tachpanches, saying,

9. నీవు పెద్ద రాళ్లను చేత పట్టుకొని, యూదా మనుష్యులు చూచుచుండగా తహపనేసులో నున్న ఫరో నగరు ద్వారముననున్న శిలావరణములోని సున్నములో వాటిని పాతిపెట్టి జనులకీమాట ప్రకటింపుము

9. Take great stones in your hand, and hide them in mortar in the brick work, which is at the entry of Par`oh's house in Tachpanches, in the sight of the men of Yehudah;

10. ఇశ్రాయేలు దేవుడును సైన్యముల కధిపతియునగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చునదేమనగా ఇదిగో నా దాసుడగు బబులోను రాజైన నెబుకద్రెజరును నేను పిలువనంపించి తీసికొనివచ్చి, నేను పాతిపెట్టిన యీ రాళ్లమీద అతని సింహాసనము ఉంచెదను, అతడు రత్నకంబళిని వాటిమీదనే వేయించును.

10. and tell them, Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Yisra'el: Behold, I will send and take Nevukhadretztzar the king of Bavel, my servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.

11. అతడువచ్చి తెగులునకు నిర్ణయమైన వారిని తెగులునకును, చెరకు నిర్ణయమైనవారిని చెరకును, ఖడ్గమునకు నిర్ణయమైనవారిని ఖడ్గమునకును అప్పగించుచు ఐగుప్తీయులను హతముచేయును.

11. He shall come, and shall strike the land of Mitzrayim; such as are for death shall be given to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity, and such as are for the sword to the sword.

12. ఐగుప్తు దేవతల గుళ్లలో నేను అగ్ని రాజ బెట్టుచున్నాను, వాటిని నెబుకద్రెజరు కాల్చి వేయును, ఆ దేవతలను చెరగొనిపోవును, గొఱ్ఱెలకాపరి తన వస్త్రమును చుట్టుకొనునట్లు అతడు ఐగుప్తుదేశమును తనకు చుట్టుకొని నిరాటంకముగా అక్కడనుండి సాగి పోవును.

12. I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Mitzrayim; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captive: and he shall array himself with the land of Mitzrayim, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he shall go forth from there in shalom.

13. అతడు ఐగుప్తులోనున్న సూర్యదేవతాపట్టణము లోని సూర్యప్రతిమలను విరుగగొట్టి ఐగుప్తు దేవతల గుళ్లను అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేయును.

13. He shall also break the pillars of Beth-shemesh, that is in the land of Mitzrayim; and the houses of the gods of Mitzrayim shall he burn with fire.
